So it had been his life in servitude to the Thieves in exchange for Terra's freedom, a truly noble and courageous act on Matthias' part. In fact, Zion was sure he would have made the same decision had he been in Matthias' position, and it was beginning to dawn on him that any attempt to rescue Matthias would not be without casualties. He nodded to Arganan that he understood the situation, but he wondered if Arganan also understood what it meant too. As the man walked away, flanked by guards, Zion smirked as he slowly drew the force to himself, preparing to do something completely unexpected =Zion Morviael= I also expect you to understand that this... it's not over, not yet. Matthias will work out of here with me and Terra, so you had better run as far away as you can, and keep running... Because when I catch you, and I will, there will be no bargain... no revelation... no amount of begging that will convince me not to end your life! Zion took a deep breath as he drew further upon the force, powering up in preparation of his next move. One strike and he would cripple their chances of retaliation and draw their attention to him, leaving Terra and Matthias the chance they needed to begin the escape. As he felt there was enough pent up energy, he quickly reached out through the force to Terra, with only one word =Zion Morviael= RUN! He then spread his arms wide as he unleashed the energy in a massive force shockwave, directing it outwards towards the walls to break through the first few rooms worth of supporting beams, in an attempt to cause the roof the gunners and guards were on to collapse beneath their feet, even if for a moment so that he could have a chance to jump up onto the roof and begin taking them on

Matthias led his daughter out of the courtyard and a little ways into the base, to his quarters. It was the only place in the entire compound that they could talk without anyone listening in, but he knew they wouldn't have long before someone came looking for him. They always kept close tabs on him here, so he would have to speak quickly. Terra, for her part, wasn't sure what he was going to say, and she wondered what it was that they had to be alone for him to tell her. Not a lot about this situation made a lot of sense to her, and she didn't remember enough about her departure from this world to know what had really happened. Maybe now she would get some answers.
Matthias sighed and looked at his daughter. The last time he had seen her, she had just been a little girl. But there wasn't time for him to get all misty eyed. If she was going to get out of here, he needed to act fast.
"I know you must have a lot of questions...but right now, I need you to listen carefully. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that Arganan has no intention of letting me go. And frankly, I'm worried that your friend there is going to cause a scene. Or worse." He sighed again. "The deal I made with Arganan made sure you got off world. So why did you end up coming back here?"
Terra looked away for a moment, still not wanting to disclose to anyone why she was here or who she had been with, at least at first she didn't. But this was her father, and there wasn't anyone else around to listen in. Her gaze turned back to her father. "I...I was b-brought here. On a mission."
Matthias frowned a little. Mission? What did she mean by mission? Who had she been with that was sending her on missions? "Terra...?"
She looked at the floor. "I..." Tears were beginning to well up in her eyes. She had to tell him, but given the well earned reputation of the Sith, she had no idea what he would say to her. He would probably throw her out, disown her, reject her. There could be no other reaction if he knew she had been taught to use the Dark Side of the Force. Matthias leaned forwards and gently cupped his daughter's chin. "It's OK."
She looked at him for a second, tears streaming down her cheeks, and took a deep breath. "I...I was w-with...a...m-my master...S-Sith...." Her voice trailed off.
Matthias's eyes widened, and he stepped back for a moment. "Sith!? But....that's impossible! I thought that...." Terra stared at her father, terrified that he had rejected her like she had feared. After a moment, he stepped forward again, his hands clenched into fists. "He lied to me...and I fell for it. All these years...Terra..." He looked at her. "Terra, it's my fault. Arganan told me that he had just put you on a transport off world, in exchange for me pledging my services. But really...he...sold you to those...those monsters!" He closed his eyes for a moment and took a breath. When he opened them again, they were practically burning with anger. "I'm going to kill him for this..."
Terra looked at the floor, still unable to stop the tears from flowing down her face. She flinched a little as she felt her father's hand on her shoulder, and she looked up at him. "F-Father?"
He sighed and his expression softened. "I'm sorry, Terra. This is all my fault...I'm not angry at you. If I had been more aware, I wouldn't have let you go..."
She closed her eyes, unable to stop herself from crying as her father pulled her into a tight embrace. "I'm so sorry..."
Terra clung tightly to her father, relief flooding through her as she cried quietly into his chest. After a minute, she pulled away, looked towards the door. Her father traced her gaze and he nodded. "Yep. We'd better get moving. I'm getting out of here and you're coming with me." Her heart leaped at the thought of escaping this place with her father, and she couldn't help but smile a little bit. There hadn't been enough time for her to take it in; it hadn't hit her yet that the life they had always dreamed about whens he was a child could still be a reality, even after all that had happened. But first they needed to escape this place, and she gathered the Force around her, ready to fight tooth and nail for it.
As if on cue, Terra felt the disturbance in the Force, and a word from Zion, urging her to run. She looked at her father, who noticed the sudden change in his daughter's expression. "What's happening?" They both heard the sudden commotion, distant, but unmistakable. Matthias couldn't help but smirk. "That crazy kriffing bastard...he actually did it. We have to move fast. This way!"
Terra nodded and followed her father, aware of the sudden change in the atmosphere. The tension had broke and now she could sense a lot of presences moving very quickly towards the courtyard where she had been just moments before.

Arganan had been prepared for a fight, since this man was so clearly intent on starting one over his prized subject. What he wasn't prepared for, was the display of strength through the Force, and he quickly saw his first line of defense crumble like sand from Zion's shockwave. The guns and men on the side of the room that had been hit by the shockwave were effectively neutralized right away. Noticing that Zion had made the other side of the roof, Arganan made his exit and bolted for his office. There, he would rally the rest of the Forty Thieves. Even someone as powerful as Zion wouldn't be able to hold out long against the full might of the gang with all of their guns trained on him at once.
Reaching his office, he ran for his desk and immediately initiated the base's lockdown procedures, sealing all exits to the otuside and ordering every guard to report. All told, there were over one hundred well armed men at his command, and probably about fifty more of the riffraff he also kept around who could be press ganged into service if necessary. And then, of course, there was Matthias, who was much smarter than most of the guards around here. He would need his services now, and if that man knew what was good for him and his daughter, he would report.
Meanwhile, on the roof, the guards manning the gun turrets had little to no hope of turning their cumbersome weapons around in time to catch Zion, who was already rapidly closing the distance. There were only six men on this side of the roof, and two were frantically trying to arm their gun emplacements. The other four drew their blasters and opened fire, attempting to overwhelm Zion, but only one of them had rapid fire capability and he was a poor shot to say the least. Their chances were slim, at best...
As for Matthias and his daughter, they ran through the corridors, but stopped as the lockdown initiated. He turned to his daughter. "Change of plans."He was about to say more, when Arganan's voice sounded on the comm, demanding he report immediately, and he knew right away what Arganan's plan was. He looked at his daughter, a plan of his own forming in hid mind."Terra, I have a plan. I'll explain on the way, but I need you to trust me. I promise we'll get out of this alive!"Terra nodded, scared, but ready to do whatever it took to get out of here with her father in tow. He explained to her what he needed from her while making their way to Arganan's office, having to go around the now half destroyed courtyard.

As the shockwave rippled outwards, taking out the guards on the ground and damaging the building, he lowered his arms and extended the hidden blades before using the force to assist himself as he leaped up and onto the top of the roof, charging at the first group of four guards that were attempting to man two of the guns and dispatched them fairly easily. As he charged at the next side of the roof where the six guards were, he knew it wouldn't be all to easy, especially when four of the guards opened fire, causing bullets to erupt through the air around him. He ducked into a ball and rolled to his side before coming around from the side of the four with their guns drawn, still doing his best to dodge their bullets, his armour absorbing their few hits that did land a correct target. As he collided with two of the guards in front, he pushed them forward into the other two guards, before he vaulted over them as he withdrew the blades and quickly drew a pair of throwing knives which he used to kill the pair of guards at the back. He then charged forward, drawing his lightsaber as he did, before igniting the blade as he slashed the first guards back open, before charging towards the second gun emplacement. He then jumped into the air as the guard managed to turn the gun and started firing, the bullets barely missing him and ripping into the other gun emplacement. He then faced the point of the lightsaber downwards as he descended down right into the guard, the blade going through the mans chest. Zion then took cover behind a small protrusion where some stairs lead up to the roof as several of the remaining gun emplacements opened fair. As he took a moment to rest, he noticed that the base was going into lockdown, no doubt initiated by Arganan in an attempt to stop Matthias and Terra from escaping and perhaps to keep himself here long enough for back up to arrive. He then peered around the side of the protrusion, calculating the best option to dispose of the remaining guards in the area, since more of them would no doubt be here soon. It was times like these he regretted not having a rifle or grenades, but then who needed a gun when you could use the force. With that he drew some energy to himself, before reaching out through the force and manipulating the water in the air and from within the pipes of the base to form a dense cloak of fog on the roof around the courtyard. He then waited a couple moments before rushing out from behind cover towards the nearest pair of turrets, the fog inhibiting everyone's view right until Zion was on top of them, moments before his lightsaber struck them down. Several guards fired blindly into the fog as they heard the noises of their fellow guards moments before they died, and although their aim wasn't the best, a couple of shots glanced of the edge of Zion's chest plate, knocking him backwards onto the ground. His concentration on maintaining the fog dropped for a moment as he got back up, but it was long enough for the fog to lift enough for the final squad of guards to get a good look at Zion, before he managed to refocus on it and blind the guards before taking them out. With the courtyard guards out of the way, that now left the other hundred or so guards that he would have to combat, but then he could work smarter and simply eliminate Arganan, by cutting off the head, the body would become less organized and a well planned escape could be performed. With that plan on his mind, he stood up and made his way through the fog, the cloud slowly dispersing as he opened one of the doors and made his way down inside the building. He had given Arganan a chance to run, but the man had ignored the warning and had instead opted to hide in his own office, so Zion decided it was time to make good on his word to find and kill the man. He calmly made his way through the hallways, using his lightsaber to deflect the blaster bolts, while his armour absorbed the few that got through, as the first lot of guards he came across did their best to mount a resistance, but their efforts were for naught as Zion raised his hand and used a force push to knock them back against the wall, before he continued on.

As Zion was making short work of the assorted thugs that made up the bulk of the ordinary guards at the base, Arganan had made it to his office, and while it was far from impregnable, it would hold for long enough for him to put his escape plan into action. It was time for him to leave Nar Shaddaa, and he would make sure no one followed him. Matthias and and his daughter would be instrumental in this, as he was certain the girl would be able to call off Zion's attack if her father could persuade her. And if not, Arganan had other means to secure the man's cooperation. Several of Arganan's closer associates had gathered in his office, all dangerous in their own right and all loyal to him. All were armed with heavy repeating blasters and most were veteran combatants, unlike the majority of the thugs that made up the rank and file. These were hardened fighters. Arganan doubted that they could kill Zion after seeing the display of power put on in the courtyard, but they would certainly slow him down if it came to that.
It wasn't long before Matthias entered with his daughter in tow, and he noticed right away that if he tried to kill his master now, they wouldn't survive long enough to get to Zion, who was no doubt on his way over. Once he got here, he would likely make short work of Arganan and his personal guard, but he knew that Arganan was likely going to hold Terra hostage to stave off the attack, at least until Arganan could escape. Terra would also be leverage against Matthias himself, to keep him from trying anything funny as well. What Arganan likely didn't know, was that Terra was a Sith of at least apprentice level, and although she hadn't told her father anything about her training, he assumed that it made her far more dangerous than anyone else, including Arganan, might realize. She was the trump card here. It had spelled Nazeem's doom, and it would likely spell Arganan's doom as well. Timing would be everything. Act too soon, and they would die.
Terra, for her part, was starting to feel scared again, but also hopeful. This was the closest her father had been to freedom in quite some time, and she had every intention of following him off of this world. Despite all the anger and darkness in her, she felt like she finally had a chance at a better life. But first, they had to escape from this place and if what her father had said was true, that wouldn't be easy at all...
Arganan nodded to his men as the two walked in and pulled out a blaster."Keep your weapons on the girl. If she twitches, kill her."Terra squeaked as she felt the business end of a heavy repeating blaster being pressed against her back and she instantly froze. Two more of Arganan's guards walked over, pointing their rifles at her head and chest. The rest stood back, their weapons also at the ready.
Matthias stepped forwards, but also froze as he felt Arganan's blaster being pressed against his temple."What the hell are you doing, Arganan!?"
Arganan scowled as he pressed his blaster against Matthias's head."I know what you're planning, Matthias. But I swear I will kill you and your daughter if you try anything!"
Anger was rising in Matthias, but also a pang of worry. This wasn't going as well as he had hoped. Still, he would kill Arganan if he so much as breathed wrong on his daughter."You touch her and I'll-"Arganan snorted."You'll what? If you want to live, keep your mouth shut."
Terra closed her eyes and tried to keep herself calm, sensing that Zion was approaching. It wouldn't be long before he got here. Arganan, meanwhile, anxiously waited for his transport to arrive.

Zion continued to make his way through the base towards Arganan's office, taking out the several lots of guards in his way and doing his best to dodge all their bullets, those he didn't dodge being absorbed by the armour and clothing he wore. He was grateful for the very last gift that Paul had ever given him. He then stopped as he arrived to the middle of the short corridor that ran in front of the double doors into Arganan's office. He then drew the force to himself again as he concentrated on the pieces of roofing at either end of the corridor and used a force pull to pull them down on angles towards the floor, to block any guards attempting to further interfere. He then took a moment to have a short breather as he concentrated on the office, almost immediately feeling Terra's presence since it was greater then the others, eventually he also felt that of Matthias, Arganan and the several armed soldiers in the room. It wasn't going to be easy rescuing Terra and her Father, whilst also taking Arganan and his men down, but then what was a good test but extremely difficult. He then pulled out his comm link and turned the channel to the YT-1900's comm channel, knowing that Dario would be in the ship's cockpit, and if not the message would play through the ship. He then pressed the activator on it before speaking =Zion Morviael= Eagle's Nest do you read me, this is Eagle Alpha, I repeat Eagle's Nest do you read me? =Dario= Copy that Eagle Alpha, Eagle's Nest reads you loud and clear. What harrowing and inescapable situation have you got yourself in now? =Zion Morviael= The Base of the Forty Thieves... I got it handled, but felt you might like to have a little fun... =Dario= What did you have in mind? =Zion Morviael= It's time to bring the rain... =Dario= Roger that, Eagle's Nest out! Dario switched the comm line to the internal comms on the YT-1900 as he raised the boarding ramp and powered up the engines of the ship =Dario= Hikari, Akari, man the guns and get ready for some action, Your brother has invited us to the party. Hikari and Akari nodded to one another before making their way through the ship and through the gun well to the two turrets, Hikari taking the lower one while Akari took the top one. Dario then activated the repulsors, causing the YT-1900 to lift off the ground before he retracted the landing gear and increased the thrust in the engines, causing the ship to move forward as he engaged the custom fractal pattern armour system, causing the ship to disappear to the eye as it flew over the city and out towards the base of the Forty Thieves.
Meanwhile Zion put his comm link away as he once again drew the force to himself, recharging his stores as he began to turn his attention towards the doors. He settled his breathing, closing his eyes, as he raised his hands so his palms faced the doors, he then opened his eyes and clenched his hands as he used the force to grip the two doors, before he pulled his arms back a few inches before the doors resisted his move. He then took a step back as he then used his front leg as leverage as he continued to pull on the doors, before the doors started to moan and groan from the stress being placed on them from Zion pulling on them and the mechanisms that were trying to keep them locked in place. He then turned his hands upside down before he released the doors a little before giving one final pull, breaking not only the doors free, but tearing parts of the walls, roof and floor apart as the doors came free. Zion then lifted the two doors with the force and kept them a float infront of himself as he walked through the hole in the entrance he had made, using the doors to absorb the first volley to come at him. He then rammed the doors into the floor to act as a barricade for him to hide behind as he took a moment to briefly regain some energy =Zion Morviael= So Arganan... Here I thought you would have run away... But seems you decided to hang around... Did you feel guilty about all your wrongs and decide to face justice now instead of later... Though I imagine escape won't be much of an option for you soon... Meanwhile the YT-1900 got within range of the base, with Hikari firing from the quad-maser turrent on the bottom of the ship towards the outer limits of the base, while Akari kept her eyes peeled for any airborne counter attacks. Dario meanwhile diverted power from the fractal pattern armour to the shields to strengthen their defences

Arganan raised his hand."Hold fire!"He stepped back as his men kept their weapons trained on the makeshift fortification that Zion had fashioned from the doors, which he had easily blown through. He had gotten here quite easily, but Arganan still had some leverage in this situation. As long as he was careful, he could make use of it. Of course, he still had one or two tricks up his sleeve.
Arganan had been contacted by a mysterious group just before the incident at Nazeem's, asking him if he had seen a girl matching Terra's description. He hadn't at the time, but when she had shown up with Zion looking for her father, he had made sure to contact them again, and they assured him that someone would be over to collect her. He had been told that these people had been tracking her, though they refused to say why. Normally these weren't the type of people that Arganan liked to deal with, as he knew so little about them. The credits they had offered him were enough to overcome this, and he just needed to hold out until they arrived. It wouldn't be long now.
Arganan stood by, flanked by two of his thugs armed with heavy repeating blasters."You take one more step, and these two have had it!"To emphasize his, he pressed his blaster harder against Matthias's temple, and the thug holding Terra pushed his blaster harder against her back, causing the girl to shudder."I won't hesitate. Don't move!"
Matthias looked at his daughter, wishing he could go and comfort her, but with the blaster against his temple, there was nothing he could do. Terra, for her part, had remained silent while gathering the Force around her, planning her move. Timing would be everything, as it usually was with her missions. Arganan had his blaster against her father's head, and he was flanked by two heavily armed thugs. She herself was surrounded by six guards, also heavily armed, with one standing right behind her with his gun right at her back. Zion was the only one who was shielded from gunfire, but the guards in the room could easily flank him.
Terra closed her eyes, reaching out with the Force to Zion.Help my father.Terra was too heavily guarded to make a move, no matter how quick she was, so the best chance was for Zion to attack the thugs around her father first. The distraction would be enough for her to take care of the thugs surrounding her. Her timing would have to be perfect, though. Hopefully Zion would understand...
Outside the base, a Lambda class shuttle, flanked by two TIE Defenders was on approach to the base. Inside, were the people that had contacted Arganan earlier about Terra, and upon confirmation that she was there, they had set a course for the base. Months of tracking the elusive assassin were finally about to come to and end. Ten men, eight of them armed and armored, but the other two were garbed in black robes and wearing lightsabers on their belts. Not Sith, but definitely not Jedi.
Target confirmed. You're to take her alive, kill anyone who gets in the way.
One of the robed men nodded and donned a mask before pulling up his hood, and the other did the same. He raised his head."ETA 1 minute. Be ready."

Zion knew he was in a less than ideal situation at the moment with nothing but two reinforced doors between himself and several armed thugs, but time was running out and Arganan was starting to sound less confident. As he heard Terra's voice he smiled and nodded to himself, although he didn't want to go for just one person, he had a feeling she would be able to defend herself in ways her father would be unable to. He then pulled a pair of throwing knives free from his belt and kissed both of them for good luck as he took a breath in =Zion Morviael= Trust me Arganan, you would not live long enough to regret it... Zion knew his next maneuver would be a risky one, but it would be well worthy it mostly for the element of surprise it would give him. He once again drew the force to himself as he used the force to speed his actions up to be faster then those of anyone else, allowing him to perform his next actions in quick succession. He started off by aiming two force pushes at the doors, sending them flying outwards at an angle, giving him a direct view of Arganan. He then tossed his two knives at the thugs either side of Arganan, before using force grip to grab hold of Arganan's pistol and rip it upwards into the air. Assuming all that worked, he braced himself for his armour to absorb the fire from the thugs who were still standing.
Meanwhile the YT-1900 closed in on the base as Hikari rained down maser fire from the lower quad-turret towards the base below. Dario then spotted the Lambda class Shuttle and TIE Defenders on the radar as they to descended upon the base, he then opened a line to Akari's gun turret =Dario= Keep your eyes sharp Akari, we have 2 TIE Defenders and a Lambda at 12 o'clock high. Give them a warm welcome =Akari Morviael= Will do! Akari checked her radar display as she swung the gun around to the direction of the incoming ships and let off a pair of warning shots towards the Lambda class shuttle, before tracking the shuttle's movement, choosing it as the high priority target over the TIE's for the time being

Terra felt the surge in the Force that signaled to her that Zion was about to make his move, and she gathered her own strength, tensing for the inevitable bloodbath. As soon as she felt the barrel of the repeating blaster leave her back, she sprang into action, seeing that most of the guards around her now had their attention firmly fixed on Zion as he struck. Grabbing the knife he had given her, she backflipped and slashed with the knife as she landed behind him, deftly slitting his throat.
The rest of the thugs noticed too late that the one holding Terra had been killed, as they had opened fire on Zion. They turned to face the girl, but she lashed out with the Force, sending them tumbling backwards and over each other. Pulling one of their blasters to her hand with the Force, she gripped the weapon with both hands and opened fire, decimating them in seconds. She had been trained for this sort of thing before, striking with the element of surprise and using whatever weapon was at hand to finish the job and she did that.
That left just the two of Arganan's bodyguards, although they weren't going to be of much help, as Zion's knives had hit their respective marks. Arganan managed to keep a hold of his blaster, despite Zion's attempts to wrench it away with the Force and he turned, intending to make them both pay for doing all of this damage."This is the price for your treachery!" He pointed the blaster at Terra, who turned to face him just as he was about to pull the trigger.
A shot sounded.
For a second, time seemed to stand still, and Terra stared wide eyed with shock at Arganan, who stared back for a few seconds before slowly crumpling to the ground. Matthias stood over Arganan as he lay dying, blaster in hand."Price of treachery...looks like...you're the one who paid the price."
Terra breathed a sigh of relief, half expecting to be berated for her lack of attention just now. She put the repeating blaster down and followed her father as he went to check on Zion. It looked like he had taken several hits from the thugs before Terra had been able to dispatch them."Are you all right?"
Meanwhile, the Lambda class shuttle continued its approach, not veering off course even as the YT-1900 opened fire on it. Immediately, the two TIE Defenders split off and accelerated to attack speed, flying some distance away before turning around. Each pilot targeted the freighter and fired a salvo of two concussion missiles each. If that didn't do the trick, there was more where that came from.Keep that freighter away while we extract the target. If it gets too close to the LZ, you have permission to terminate.

Zion felt the barrage of laser rounds impact his chest, arms and shoulder armour for the couple of seconds before Terra and Matthias managed to dispatch the last of the guards and Arganan. He slowly stood up as Matthias and Terra approached, bruises slowly starting to form already, causing him some minor aches =Zion Morviael= Never better. We may yet make it out of this alive, some friends of mine are on their way to pick us up. Matthias your daughter really has an amazing gift, which given the right guidance, she could learn to master. Meanwhile, Dario performed an evasive maneuver as he deployed some chaff to counter the incoming concussion missiles, most of which were fooled by the chaff, while a couple managed to still get through and impacted the shields. Akari and Hikari held on as they felt the impacts before they heard Dario over the comms =Dario= Seems our friends don't want to play nice, prepare to engage as we move in. =Hikari Morviael= Copy that, prepared to engage. =Akari Morviael= Affirmative. Perhaps we should hold them off and give Zion a chance to escape and organize a new pick up? =Dario= Sounds like a good idea Akari continued to fire the upper turret at the Lambda, while Dario switched to the external comms and turned the system to Zion's comm channel. Zion suddenly pulled his personal comm out as he felt it activate =Dario= Eagle Alpha, this is Eagle's Nest. We have bogies inbound, suggest new take off point =Zion Morviael= Copy that Eagle's Nest, on the move now Zion turned his comm off and placed it back in a pocket as he began looking around for a way out, if they could get to the speeder, then they'd be able to quickly get away =Zion Morviael= It's time to move!

The two TIE Defenders continued their pursuit of the YT-1900, letting off salvos of laser cannon fire in between dodging the shots from the freighter. Both pilots were well trained, and they continued their dogfight with the freighter, while the Lambda class shuttle continued its descent. The shuttle was now above the base, and the commando team inside, led by the two cloaked and masked figures, began to descend into the base while the shuttle's escorts distracted the freighter. The two robed figures were first, followed by the armored commandos. Once inside, they immediately began moving towards Arganan's office. Both of the masked Force users drew their lightsabers, but did not activate them, waiting until they had confirmed that the target was here.
Meanwhile, Terra shuddered as she felt a disturbance, one that she was sure Zion had felt as well. Someone else was approaching, Force users, which had her extremely worried. Had her master somehow survived their earlier fight? It was impossible, she had seen the shuttle explode with his body on board. There was no way he could have survived. She looked to Zion. "S-someone's here..."
Matthias noticed his daughter's sudden apprehension, and he was sure that Zion had noticed as well. They needed to escape from this place, and fast."There's a secret passage that leads out of the office. Pretty sure it's right....here!"As he spoke, Matthias had been feeling all along the wall and stopped when he found the hidden keypad. He smiled a little, as his suspicions about his now deceased boss were correct."There's a speeder down this way. Let's hurry!"Walking over, Matthias grabbed Terra's hand and led her towards the passage, motioning for Zion to follow."I assume you have someone to pick us up?"

He turned to Terra as he to felt the presence of the two approaching force users and the lesser signatures of their men. Despite the YT-1900 having been out there, he gave them props for having managed to land and made their way to the office so quickly, however there was enough time to ponder these things later. He nodded to Terra and Matthias as they moved towards the now uncovered passage =Zion Morviael= I'll be right behind you... He then gathered the force to himself once more and focused on the roof in front of the office, before using a force pull to tear the roof down and leave a pile of rubble for their pursuers to have to get through. He then turned around and made his way over to a group of the dead guards and started hitting the activators on their thermal detonators before rushing through the secret passage after Terra and Matthias, hitting a button on his way through to close the door. He raced down the flight of stairs, quickly closing the distance =Zion Morviael= Hurry up! A split second later the thermal detonators activated and shook the walls as they created a further obstruction for the commando team. Zion then continued to follow Terra and Matthias as they made their way down to the speeder.
meanwhile Dario continued to get the YT-1900 to dodge most of the laser cannon fire from the TIE's, with a few shots managing to hit the shields ranging from glancing shots to direct hits. He wasn't entirely sure how it had happened, but the Lambda had managed to get by them, but that was a story for another day, In the mean time he figured it was time to repay these pilots in kind as he typed a couple of commands into the targeting computer before it locked onto the two TIE's and fired a pair of concussion missiles, one at each TIE. Akari continued to fire back at their pursuers, after the Shuttle had moved out of her turret firing range, she didn't plan on making it easy for these TIE pilots. Hikari meanwhile fired towards the now hovering Shuttle as it sat over the base below them, whilst she prayed that Zion would manage to get out with the girl safe and sound

Matthias led Terra and Zion down the narrow passageway until it stopped in a small garage with the exit leading up and out into the streets of Nar Shaddaa. This had been Arganan's last ditch escape route in case things ever got out of hand, only now he was never going to get the chance to use it. There was only a single speeder bike in the garage, likely because the now dead crime lord had never planned to take anyone with him in case the base was destroyed. It made Matthias scowl as he turned to Zion. "Damn it...I swear there was a big speeder in here!" He looked back at where they had came from. "Just who the hell is chasing us, anyway?" Terra could only shake her head, having no idea herself. It definitely wasn't her old master, which left her clueless as to who could be chasing them out of the blue like this.
Meanwhile, the commando team had reached the office, just as the thermal detonators went off, and several of them were thrown backwards by the blast. The two masked men had held up in time but two of their squad were now incapacitated. Disregarding their unconscious comrades, the rest of the squad continued, with the two masked men blasting away the debris with the Force. However, it seemed they had hit a dead end, but no one had time to just sit around and look for a secret exit. The squad retreated back into the hallway while one of them aimed at the wall and fired a rocket. The explosion from the impact caused even more damage to the already destroyed office, but it had the desired effect. There was now an opening to what was likely a secret passage. Another rocket was fired and now the opening was big enough for the squad to get through. Led by the two masked men, they quickly resumed the pursuit of their target.
Outside the base, the TIE's continued their dogfight with the YT-1900, dodging the laser fire and doing their best to continue to harass the larger freighter, hopefully keeping it from doing too much damage to the shuttle that was still hovering over the base. It wasn't enough, though, and one of the TIE's shields was failing after having taken a few hits. There was no way they could keep this up for much longer. Then the concussion missiles were fired, and each craft was forced to disengage to try and avoid being hit. One pilot managed to dodge by rolling his craft and causing the missile to impact into one of the buildings. The other pilot was unable to avoid, and the missile impacted, sending the TIE crashing to the ground in a fiery explosion.
This is Hawk Two! We need additional air support! LZ is under fire and Hawk One is down!
The reply was swift. Copy that. The rest of Hawk is en route.

As they arrived to the end of the passageway which opened to a small garage with a single speeder bike, Zion could feel that his luck was running out again. It would take one hell of a miracle for them to all fit onto it and manage to escape, sadly they did not have the luxury of being able to wait for the YT-1900 to disappear and pick them up since their pursuers would not be far behind. He turned towards Matthias as the man asked who was following them, a question he had no answer to either, if they had been Cinn Ion he would have felt their presence =Zion Morviael= I can't say I know them either. But it seems we have a bit of a transportation problem... You two take the bike to this location, I'll grab the speeder from within the base, I won't be far behind, I promise! He then handed them a small locator device which would direct them to the landing pad in the Corellian Sector that they had originally landed at when they arrived to Nar Shaddaa. Zion once again drew on the force as he focused on the panel of roofing closest to the door from the tunnel into the garage, He gathered what remaining power he could muster as he gripped the panel through the force. He began to pull down with all his might, dropping down to a crouched position levered his pull, causing the metal in the panel to making a creaking noise as the pressure pulling it downwards conflicted with the beams keeping it up. Zion then yanked the panel one last time, in one last ditch effort, before the panel finally gave way and collapsed inwards, before the dirt and sand resting on top of it caved inwards and started to fill up part of the garage. Zion collapsed onto one knee as he suddenly felt the effects of all his expenditure catch up to him, something he knew was bound to happen sooner or later, but he knew he couldn't give up just yet. He pushed himself up onto his feet, swaying a little for a moment as he got his breath back, before turning around and jogging up the tunnel and out onto the road leading back to the compound. He could see the YT-1900 dodging through the air as the remaining TIE continued to chase it, he then turned his attention towards the shuttle hovering above the base which one of the YT-1900's turrets was firing at. Had it been earlier on, he would have tried to take the shuttle down, but in his current state he was in no fit shape to even attempt it, especially given he was not sure how long he had till their pursuers would make it back to the ship and then there was still the approaching forces of the Forty Thieves that he was sure Arganan had signaled. He then made his way along the road and through a whole in the fence that had been made during the initial attack, before turning on a slight angle and running towards the landspeeder still sitting at the front gates as the base guards looked like they were in some state of anarchy between the attack and multiple internal explosions. He ducked around several obstacles as he got to the landspeeder and yanked open the door before jumping in and closing the door as he started the engine, before a couple nearby guards noticed and started firing on the speeder. Zion quickly put the speeder into drive as laser fire pelted the windows, causing them to break, before the speeder managed to take off around the small drive way and across the grounds and out of the hole in the fence, pushing the speeder to it's limits as he drove it along the road leading back towards the city, as he simultaneously typed a quick message on his datapad to Dario.
Meanwhile Dario had continued to dodge the remaining TIE defender, after having managed to take the other one out with one of the concussion missiles. As he got the message from Zion, he thought it could not have come at a better time as the shields had dropped to just below 50%, meaning they would not have lasted to much longer had reinforcements arrived. He suddenly made the YT-1900 begin a flip as he activated the fractal pattern armour and turned the sensor jammers on, breaking visual and sensor locks. Hikari and Akari had stopped firing as Dario initiated the roll, instead they kept their turrets at the ready in case the TIE or the shuttle was able to track them still. Dario then turned the YT-1900 away from the base and increased power to the engines as he piloted it back towards the city, heading to the landing pad they had occupied earlier so they could pick up Zion, Terra and Matthias when they arrived

Matthias nodded and took the tracking device from Zion, stowing it in his pocket and turning to his daughter."Let's go, Terra."With that, he mounted the bike, Terra climbing on behind him and holding on tightly as he started the bike. He turned to look at Zion."Good luck. No matter what happens, I won't forget this!"With that, Matthias gunned the engines and the bike sped down the tunnel and into the streets of Nar Shaddaa.
The remaining TIE had continued its battle with the YT-1900, but the pilot knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer. Suddenly, his sensors went haywire and he could no longer effectively target the craft and soon lost visual on it.
I lost visual on the ship!
The reply came swiftly from orbit. The rest of the squadron is en route.
Copy that. Moving to rejoin the squadron!
The pilot turned his craft around and gunned his engines, moving to rejoin the rest of his squad.
Very few of the remaining guards at the base had bothered to engage Zion as he made his way to the speeder, and those that did found it to be a futile effort, and they quickly gave up as he flew the speeder away. Of course, they had more important things to deal with at the moment...
The shuttle's scanners had picked up a small engine power up, and they had caught a very brief glimpse of a speeder bike flitting into the streets. No sooner had the speeder bike disappeared into the streets that another speeder also made a beeline for the streets as well. The shuttle's crew began to make preparations to leave.Talon squad, fall back. Target has escaped the base. Hawk squadron, heads up. We saw a bike and a larger speeder flying from the base! Get eyes on them immediately, one of them may have the girl!
Matthias continued to gun the engines as he sped towards the rendezvous point. They were getting close, and he hoped Zion was close behind so they could quickly get off this hellhole. He could still hardly believe what had happened, that he was finally about to leave Nar Shaddaa, and with his only daughter no less. He hadn't even begun to think about what to do now that they were reunited, but there was little time for that now. He needed to focus on getting the hell out of here.
The commando team had returned to the shuttle, which had taken some damage but was still more than airworthy. Since they were unable to target the freighter, their only chance at getting to the girl now was to follow the speeder they had seen tearing out from the main gate. The shuttle rose slowly and started flying, its scanners keeping tabs on the speeder.

Dario extended the landing gear as he brought the YT-1900 down onto the landing pad, before extending the boarding ramp. He just hoped that they would be able to get away in time, since he had doubts the ship could handle any further engagements with the TIE's.
Zion continued to gun the speeder engines as he followed the road back to the city, closing the distance between him and the speeder bike that Terra and Matthias were on. He looked back briefly and momentarily glimpsed the freighter, before returning his attention to the way ahead as he followed the speeder bike up onto the landing pad. He powered the speeder down as he pushed the door open and ran over to the speeder bike as he grabbed his lightsaber hilt from his belt and activated the silver blade, the blade making the familiar snap-hiss of a lightsaber. He could sense their pursuers were not far away, however at this point he was so exhausted that he'd be almost useless in a fight, but he was not going to just go down without some sort of fight =Zion Morviael= Get... to... the... ship... now!

Matthias gunned the engines on the speeder bike, pushing the craft to its limits as they raced through the streets, Terra clinging tightly to him. Looking up, she saw Zion's ship flying overhead, but looking back, she also saw a shuttle flying towards them as well, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. They were still being pursued, and they were getting closer. She turned back to her father, who had also seen the shuttle and he grimaced as he continued to fly the speeder towards the landing zone.
They stopped at the landing pad, and Matthias helped his daughter off the bike, freedom just a few meters away now. "Come on!" Grasping her father's hand tightly, she followed him towards the freighter. A sudden chill ran through her, and without thinking, she launched a Force Push at her father, sending him crashing to the ground, and a split second later, a blaster bolt impacted the spot where he had been standing. Terra turned to see the shuttle still flying closer. It was just close enough now for her to see that the boarding ramp had been extended and that someone was standing on it. A sniper...
Matthias staggered to his feet, and Terra was right there, pushing him towards the boarding ramp, and another shot impacted just missing Matthias's shoulder by inches.
Two masked and cloaked figures leaped from the boarding ramp of the shuttle as it descended, the distance more than survivable for two trained Force users. Upon landing, the both pulled and activated red bladed lightsabers before using Force Speed to very rapidly close the disance. Meanwhile, the commando team also began to grapple from the boarding ramp. One of the masked Force users ran towards Zion, the other moved towards Terra and Matthias.
Sensing that Zion was weakened, the cloaked man went in quickly, launching a powerful Force Push at the weakened Jedi, hoping to take him out of the fight right away. He had thought of just killing the man, but felt he needn't have wasted the effort.
Meanwhile, the other masked man lunged towards Terra and her father, but was sent back as Terra lashed out with the Force and stopped him. Without her lightsaber, she was at a severe disadvantage, but there was no way she was letting them at her father. She moved forwards and prepared to lash out again, but the masked man beat her to it and hit her with a burst of Force Lightning. With a scream of agony, she fell onto her back, writhing for a moment as the energy crackled around her. Seeing this, Matthias pulled his blaster and fired several shots, all of which were deflected, with the last one being sent right back and hitting him on the shoulder. Matthias dropped his blaster and sank to his knees, gritting his teeth against the pain.
By now, the commandos had reached the landing pad as well, and they raised their weapons and fired at will. Their weapons were set for stun this time to avoid potentially killing the girl, and a barrage of blue tinted bolts laced through the air towards their target.
Terra was hit several times before she could recover, and she slumped to the ground, unconscious before she could even think about defending herself. Matthias was also hit, and he too fell unconscious to the ground. Deactivating his saber, the masked man quickly grabbed Terra and started carrying her away. "Back to the ship!" The rest of the squad quickly converged, taking the girl and hailing the shuttle to pick them up. Once they had the girl on board, the shuttle turned and started rocketing up and away, towards their ship in orbit, escorted by the squadron of TIE Defenders.

Zion's attention was grabbed by the shot as it was fired through the air from the sniper as the shuttle made it's descent towards the landing pad. Had Terra and Matthias made it onto the ship, he would have told Dario to take off immediately, but he could still sense that they were just outside of the ship, a few more feet and they would have been gone quicker than these sith would be able to comprehend. He brought his saber into a cross guard stance as the shuttle circled round and the two force users leaped from the shuttle and landed on the landing platform. His eyes narrowed as the two masked men activated red blade lightsabers, a blade colour reserved for use by only one faction of force users, the Sith. The two Sith then moved at remarkable speeds, which he attributed to their use of force speed. One of the Sith flew past him and headed straight for Terra and Matthias, which he would have tried to stop if he had been in a better condition. Instead he kept his attention on the Sith that was rushing for him, he wasn't going to last long, but he wasn't going to go down peacefully. As the force push came towards him, he did his best to dodge to the side to avoid it. Suddenly he felt the impact on his left shoulder moments before he went tumbling backwards on a diagonal angle across the landing pad. He pushed himself back up and brought his saber up into a guard position just as the masked Sith came rushing forward again, their blades colliding in the air, causing Zion to stumble back a couple feet. His attention was suddenly caught as Terra screamed out in agony, moments before Matthias was struck by a deflected blaster bolt. He then turned back towards the commando's that were now lined up and started firing the stun bolts. Zion quickly ducked behind the land speeder as it took the hits from the guns. He then rushed back out from behind the speeder as the two masked Sith carried Terra back to their transport. He was exhausted, the haze started to cloud his vision as he part stumbled, part ran towards the group =Zion Morviael= Cowards! Suddenly a blaster bolt impacted his leg, knocking his feet out from under him as he stumbled forward and landed face first on the ground. As he looked up the transport was already loaded up and taking off towards orbit, flying Terra away from his reach, to what he could only assume was her death or re-induction into the Sith ranks. Hikari and Akari rushed out of the YT-1900 and over to Zion, while Dario lifted Matthias up and took him into the ship and set him down on the couch in the lounge area. Hikari and Akari meanwhile grabbed Zion's saber and lifted him up between the pair of them, partly dragging him back into the ship and placing him down onto his bed as he had passed out.
A couple hours later, the YT-1900 took off from the landing platform and headed off into orbit, before making the jump to hyperspace, leaving Nar Shaddaa behind
