A Code is too myopic, too frail to last. Brotherhood and loyalties without a lens to dull the wits and blades should be the goal. But I'm all for an Order resurgent.

Yeah, the IC brotherhood thing sounds pretty good to me.
OOC, I want to be part of something that's not just going to sit around. I want to do things, I don't even care how meaningful or not they appear to be, as long as it's expressed to be important to the brotherhood then I'll have a good enough time doing it.
Territory-grabbing is old hat, the Order should be less focused on where it has power and more focused on the initiation and discipleship of members. Even the strongest man in the world can get stronger.
And then there's that whole Mando war thing going on, there should be some effort to get involved with that somehow.
The brotherhood should not be concerned about backing down from things "too big" for the size of the group, because it's only when insurmountable odds face you that your true potential comes out.
That's what I think.

There are three guidelines to recommend instead of a code. Fundamental guidelines to be left up to interpretation to each individual. (Which even this can be left out all together if need be.) That way we don't regurgitate words that have no real meaning or feeling and start paying lip service to it. Brotherhood, Duty and Freedom. These can give members something to focus on without the rigid structure of a code.
As for what you refer to as old hat maybe necessary. We aren't established on Serenno yet. Once we establish ourselves then we can move on. Rebuilding the old Villa on Fiyarro can be a good story, if managed properly. Make it like the old villa, visible only to members. I agree that it makes RP stagnate in limbo if not managed properly and can make others lose interest like what happened on the old site. As for the Mandalorian/Jedi war, showing up alerts our presence to the site and universe. I'm one hundred percent behind this. But first off, we are Dark Jedi. We are in control of ourselves. Fighting just to fight proves nothing except that we are slaves to emotion and no better than a raging animal. We are above this.

Only that Marshal law and a curfew has been declared on Death Watch. They aren't allowed anywhere outside their territory after dark for any reason. If the are they are detained. If they resist they will be met with Deadly force. If you show up, you might be able to assist with this.
