After covering Ellie, who may or may not have ever awoken enough to realize that they were heading from her ship to their rooms given how she had not spoken ad may or may not have actually ever opened her eyes, with her comforter after her twin had all but collapsed onto her bed, Kaiya had spent a moment looking at her sleeping form with a pensive expression before turning to leave for her own room.
Ever since her twin had shared the things that have been plaguing her since their misadventures on Ryloth and all that had followed, Kaiya has felt unsettled, as though waiting for the other proverbial shoe to drop; she has the distinct feeling that something is coming, some new storm to be weathered, and is afraid that she and Ellie will not be able to face it together. The fear would once have felt irrational; being twins, she and Ellie have seldom been apart for long, and have nearly always confronted any obstacles, challenges, or setbacks together. Until, she reminds herself reluctantly, Ryloth. Until she was captured and left Ellie to deal with the loss of her Master and her sister alone. The time they spent alone feels to Kaiya as though it has created a gulf between her her twin, a gap in what had been until Ryloth their shared experience. Kaiya would do anything to bridge the gap, to find a way to restore things they way they were; but time keeps relentlessly advancing, piling on stress and tragedy such as that the attack on the enclave has visited upon them.
Sleep does not come easily to her, Kaiya turing and tossing fitfully as her worries and doubts refuse to be quelled by meditation or any other means of soothing them Kaiya can think of, but in the end mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion succeed in forcing sleep to accept her.

*The battle that had taken place outside the temple walls was long over. Repairs were being made, injuries were healing and an unknown threat now looming at the edges of every ones mind. Not all battles were finished, however. Ellie tossed and turned in her sleep as the events of both the assault on the temple and battle with the Sith raged on in her mind. As she shifted once again, she rolled off her bed. Hitting the floor, she woke with a start, her mind reeling. Where she was at was not where she fell asleep and it put her into offensive mode. Her lightsaber was in her hand in a second, its red blade humming to life as she lashed out at the phantoms still burned in her mind. The crimson blade passed through the phantoms and cut the lamp on her desk clean in half. Ellie stumbled back in surprise until she hit the wall behind her. She was breathing heavily as she scanned around the room that was bathed in red light in surprise. Slowly she caught her breath and began to wonder how she got here. Turning off her lightsaber plunged the room into darkness, but that didn't matter, she was already out the door of her room and heading down the hallway.*
*In her haste to leave her room, she forgot to grab her boots, which she now noticed as her bare feet padded softly across the cool tile floor. She stopped only momentarily to collect her thoughts as she rolled her pants up to her knees to keep from stepping on the hems. Her breathing was back to normal, but her thoughts were still a mess. Letting out a sigh, she started down the hallway, destination unclear. She wondered for almost an hour before stopping on a balcony to stare off into the night sky. In the distance was a soft glow of dying fires from the wrecked ship, and every once in a while a faint glow of a probe droid moving above the tree line. Ellie was sure her dreams were getting worse and she needed to talk to someone about them. The first choice, logically, was her twin sister. She paused at the thought. Maybe she needed to find someone else, she'd already put her twin through enough as it was. A fresh perspective was probably a better choice. Another Jedi who she wouldn't know what they were already going to say before they spoke it.*

Jedi Master Nero Vaailar was a tall, Echani human, complete with silver hair and eyes. He, unlike many of the Shadows Jedi, always chose to wear the traditional Jedi robes, since he was more of a teacher than he was a field agent. During the days of the Red Fang conflict, he was the Headmaster of Force Teaching at the Jedi Shadows Enclave, and he volunteered his spare time to run the Enclave's 'General Store.' He was always very calm and very serene.
With Zalor Anneri and many of the other former Shadows missing, things had been fairly quiet at the Enclave. Although, Nero had noticed things had gotten far more interesting ever since a pair of sisters had joined the Shadows, both of whom, according to the Shadows database, had originated from the Ordo clan of Mandalorians. Their hidden Enclave had been attacked, at least once, by a new, mysterious enemy. Now that the Red Fang was gone, this confused and intrigued Master Nero very much. He was eager for an opportunity to meet with the twin sisters; he was confident the Force would tell him what he needed to know about them, and what their connection was with these recent attacks.
Nero often loved to walk the halls of the beautifully crafted Enclave by himself, to meditate and quiet his mind. However, he could sense that one of the Ordo sisters were nearby, and he could sense that she was wrestling with something stressful in her mind. He decided to wander along the Northwest hallway, near her room, in hopes that she would emerge and bump into him along his quiet patrol...

*Breathing in deep, Ellie gave the night sky one last glance before heading back towards her room. She barely paid attention to where she was going, her mind was elsewhere while her body followed a familiar path to her room. Luckily, she looked up from the floor just in time to come to abrupt halt before walking straight into a Jedi Master. She took a half step backwards in surprise but managed to find her words quick enough.*
"M..Master Vaailar!? What are..I mean I didn't expect to find anybody here.." *She glanced at the door she almost walked by, it was hers, and it caught her by surprise.* "..in front of my room."

The tall, long haired Jedi Master uttered an amused chuckle and took a step back as Ellie Ordo nearly bumped into him, not paying attention to her surroundings. He was sure that he had made it a point to teach all the Padawans to mind their surroundings at all times, but he could forgive Ellie - she seemed rather distraught.
Master Vaailar was quick to apologize and cut the awkwardness of the situation. "Oh...oh, I'm terribly sorry, Padawan. I didn't mean to startle you. I believe I'm in the presence of one of the Ordo twins - Ellie, is it?" His voice was very calm, young and serene. Master Vaailar always did his best to make the younger Padawans feel at ease around him. He didn't want to seem intimidating or unapproachable, like Master Vox Danteen. He believed it was their job, as Jedi Masters, to dispel fear whenever possible. Fear, after all, was a stepping stone down the Dark Side.

*Ellie gave a nod when Vaailar asked if she was Ellie Ordo.* "Yes sir." *She wasn't to surprised that he knew which twin she was, considering she had met him at least a few times.* "Sorry for almost running into you." *She stopped and thought for a second. It was late at night and Master Vaailar was out and about. Did he also have a lot on his mind? Quickly she spoke in order to break the awkward silence she had created.* "Are you having trouble sleeping also?"

Nero thought about the question for a moment, looking off to the side, as if he was in thought. Before long, however, the Jedi Master shook his head. "Well, no...no, not really. At night, before I turn in, I do like to spend some time alone, wandering these beautiful halls, letting my thoughts settle. It's how I meditate, I suppose you could say."
However, he could sense that this answer wouldn't probably be enough to satisfy Ellie's curiosity. After all, he had wanted to meet her in person and talk to her. Furthermore, he could still tell that she was distraught over something, and he wanted to help. After a short pause, the tall Jedi Master continued... "Although, I couldn't help but sense that you, particularly, seem to be having difficulty sleeping. You may rely on me to be a listening ear, if you wish. I would be delighted to help you sort out your thoughts."

*Meditate. Ellie could hear her sisters voice echo the word the word that Master Vaailar just said. Why Ellie hadn't thought of it, she'd never know. That's why he was walking the halls, the same, yet sightly different reason she was. When he offered to help, she slightly stammered a response.* "N..no. I'm alright, I just.." *She stopped and thought for a moment. Earlier she wanted someone new to confide about her dreams in. Now that someone new was here, she was just about to turn him down. She shifted her weight uneasily on her bare feet for a moment before continuing.* "I've been having these nightmares since I got back from Ryloth and Felucia. They've been getting worse by the day. More and more real every time I fall asleep, fight, or even connect to the force." *Without really thinking about it, she started pacing back and forth across the hallway.* "I can hear the voice of the Sith I fought on Felucia. He wants me to hunt him down, to fight him. I feel him in the force more and more each day, it's starting to drive me nuts. Now with the recent battle here....I can barely stand it, it's chewing me up on the inside. I'm not sure what to do anymore."

Nero thought about the battle that had conspired in the Enclave only a short while ago. They were very much unlike the Red Fang Sith they had fought before; they were ruthless, and far more skilled. And yet, the Shadows, with much of their resources no longer available to them after Zalor and the other Shadows had scattered, were unable to determine their identity.
Whoever they were, though, the Jedi Master couldn't help but sense that Kaiya and Ellie somehow had some connection to them. Ellie had mentioned Ryloth and Felucia. The Shadows had little intel on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth, but it was well known throughout the galaxy that Felucia had become a Jedi safe-haven. Whoever these Sith were, they were bold, brazen - they weren't afraid to attack Jedi on their own soil. With the possible rise of the First Order being talked about in the channels, this worried Nero.
Still, the Ordo twins remained the best chance at discovering what was going on. If he could help them somehow, he could discover more about this new enemy.
He decided to start with Felucia, as it seemed to be the more recent encounter for her, after here on the Forest Moon. "Tell me about this Sith, Ellie. You said you've met him before on Felucia. Can you tell me what you know about him?"

*Ellie collected her thoughts, and her breath, as she recalled everything she could remember about the Sith on Felucia. Opening her eyes, she turned to face Master Vaailar.*
"The Sith on Felucia. His presence in the Force felt wild, like fire, but at the same time very calm. When he fought..he used both Jedi and Sith fighting styles together." *She paused for a second before speaking.* "I'm not sure he was entirely Sith or Jedi...maybe something in between. His followers though, they were insane. Going to great lengths to achieve every one of his orders, even if it meant dying in the process. They were fanatical, as if being driven by some great purpose, I don't know what though. I do know that they were trying to build an army of Force users to further Their goals."
*Ellie gave Master Vaailar an apologetic look.* "I'm sorry it's not the best description of him. He spent more time trying to teach me, while trying to kill me at the same time. I'm not even sure what he thought he was teaching me though. I believe he was just trying to get me to follow him, become one of his puppets."
*The last part of Ellie's statement was more of a half truth. She was telling the truth when she said she wasn't really sure what he was trying to teach her. However, she had learned how to fight better because of him, maybe more so than what her Master ever taught her. That, however, she was keeping to herself.*

Master Nero studied the girl as she talked; her facial expressions, her posture, her tone of voice. Nero, as all Jedi Shadows, knew that truly speaking consisted of more than just words. How a person spoke and how their body behaved while they spoke could tell a great deal more than just the words themselves. When Ellie spoke of the Sith, Nero could tell that she knew more about him than what she let on. He decided not to let on that he knew she was holding back. Perhaps she had her reasons - and whatever those reasons were, they would become apparent the more time he spent around her.
"Hmmm..." The Jedi Master gave a small hum of intrigue in response before speaking. "...based on your description of him, Padawan Ordo, it would seem that it was not a Sith you encountered at all, persay. At least not in the traditional sense. I think a more accurate term would be a 'Dark Jedi.' He may have been a Jedi like you and I at one point, and - given that you met him on Felucia, it's also very likely he trained there, at the Conclave run by Masters Alora and Calmcacil. But, as all Jedi are, he was tempted by the Dark Side, and he gave into that temptation. Now he is a twisted version of what he once was. I doubt he has joined the Sith, their numbers having dwindled so much recently. But.." The graceful Master Nero began to slowly pace back and forth from one side of the hall to the other, his hands folded behind his back. "...the Dark Jedi have had many of their own orders established throughout the galaxy. They naturally hate both the Jedi and the Sith and see themselves as a middle ground for those adept in the Force who don't wish to be associated with either. They can be fierce and deadly adversaries, but...I would also say..." The Jedi Master stopped pacing long enough to turn back to Ellie and give her a hopeful, warm smile. "...they could also be far easily turned back to the light than a Sith."

*Ellie listened intently to every word that Master Vaailar said. A Dark Jedi was something that never occurred to Ellie, in fact she almost forgot about them completely.* "So kinda like a Gray Jedi. Only less diplomatic and more violent. As far as he goes though, I think it would be really hard to turn him back. He's gone all but insane. Saying that they found a new form of freedom that no one was going to take from him or his followers. I just wish I knew.." *She stopped as the idea hit her, or at least part of what Master Vaailar said.* "You said that he might have been from Felucia since he returned to that planet. Then there might be a chance that he's in their database somewhere. If that's true then I can learn a name, where he went, and maybe why he turned his back on the Jedi." *Ellie was growing more excited by the moment. Her back straightened and her fighting spirit seemed to be returning. This was a new hope for her that she might have found a way to beat him. She spoke the next words in such excitement that she didn't even think about it.* "I need to get back to Felucia! That information, if it's there, might help either save or stop him." *The last part of her sentence felt like a punch to the stomach. Why would she want to save him? And why did she almost feel guilty about the very thought of killing the man. That's what she wanted from the very start...wasn't it? She looked up at Nero, her enthusiasm cut almost in half.* "Is it possible for me to go to Felucia?"

Master Nero nodded in affirmation. He seemed to approve of the young Padawan's plan to go and confront her attacker.
"If you have a ship, then - by all means. I think you may have an easier time finding information on him at Felucia than you would here. Our database isn't what it once was - a lot of information we used to have has been stolen, deleted - through many ordeals with different enemy factions."
Master Nero reached out to the Force to find Kaiya, Ellie's twin sister. She was nearby, but he sensed she was attempting to sleep, despite the amount of stress that she too seemed to be under. The Jedi Master wondered if this ordeal on Felucia, whatever it was, was affecting her, too. After a brief moment of contemplation, Nero turned back to Ellie. His tone was no less calm and soothing, but the teacher in him was coming out, and his voice added an undertone of stern instruction...
"A word of warning, though, Ellie - if I may: if you do decide to travel to Felucia, and you take your sister with you, I would speak with her before confronting this foe. Her mind is equally as conflicted as yours, so it would seem. The bond between you is strong, yet I sense this ordeal has strained that bond. You will need to strengthen it if you are to succeed in your mission. Do not let this adversary come between the two of you, young Padawan."
The Jedi Master slowly and calmly paced about the hallway. "Help your sister find comfort in the fact that the Force has brought you this far together. That is not by accident. You are stronger together. If you embark on this mission as one, you will be prepared for whatever destiny has in store for you. This Dark Jedi will see the strength that you and Kaiya share - and it will either be his salvation...or his downfall."

*Ellie's heart jumped in excitement as she was given permission to go, if she had a ship, and she did in fact have a ship. Her excitement slowly dipped at everything Master Vaailar said about Ellie taking her sister with her. The very idea almost put a knot in her stomach. Kaiya had been put through enough because of Ellie, and she didn't like the thought of putting her twin in more danger. Ellie gave a slight bow to the Jedi Master.* "Thank you Master Vaailar. I'll talk to Kaiya in the morning and be ready to leave before noon. Right now though, we both need sleep."
*She gave the Master one final bow before entering her room. Closing the door behind her, she leaned her back against it and tried to calm the overwhelming array of emotions. Morning..that was to far away for her, at least in this state. Quietly she hurried to her sisters room and softly knocked on the door.* "Kaiya? You awake?" *She knocked on the door a second time, only louder.* "Vod, there's something I need to talk to you about."

Ellie's knocking on her door, at first, blends in with the dream Kaiya has of searching a seemingly endless line of doors lining a darkened hallway for her twin; her sense of unease in the dream gradually giving way to fear, and then to terror as the darkness grows deeper and deeper and begins to be accompanied by the sounds of footsteps approaching her ever closer. Before the footsteps reach her, fortunately, the knocking on her door pulls her from the dream, freeing her from its grasp.
"Just . . . just a minute, Kaiya calls out as calmly as she can, sitting up after untangling herself from the sheets she has become entangled in. Brushing her hair back from over her eyes, forcing a laugh from her throat to try and dispel the lingering effects of the dream reminding herself that it was only a dream, Kaiya tells herself aloud, Just a dream, nothing more. When she feels steadier, the dream already beginning to fade, Kaiya pads to her door and opens it, yawning as she smiles at her twin and asks in a playfully exaggerated tone of annoyance, So, what is it you couldn't wait until breakfast to talk about vod?"

*Ellie can hear her twins muffled response through the door, then the soft sounds of footsteps approaching. She stepped back some as the door opened and she was greeted by her still tired sister.* "Sorry vod. I couldn't sleep, so I took a walk around the temple for a while before running into Master Vaailar." *She started to almost fidget with her left hand as she tried to think of the best way to explain this to her twin.* "I told him what happened after I crashed on Ryloth, cause...there's still so much running through my mind. After I told him what happened...he..kind gave me permission..to go to Felucia. You know, to find information on the Sith leader, like who he is and stuff." *She paused for a moment wondering why it was suddenly so hard to even explain this to her twin. They never really kept secrets from each other. Let alone have difficulty talking to one another.* "I just wanted to see if you were coming with me. So we can hunt down that Sith, and stop this madness for good."

Shaking her head with a bemused smile after her sister has explained what she has decided, Kaiya sighs and lifts her hands in playful resignation to her fate as she says, "Just try and stop me vod." Despite her bantering tone, Kaiya's resolve to stay at her twin's side is clear; for not even the lingering disquiet that she feels about all that she endured after her capture on Ryloth could prevent Kaiya from facing whatever may come as she and Ellie hunt the Sith responsible for all that they endured.
Leaning against the door frame as she rubs the last of the sleep from her eyes, sure that she already knows the answer to the question she is about to ask, Kaiya asks, "When are we leaving?" Having been trained to have all that she requires on her person or at least nearby at all times, Kaiya knows that she need only pull on her boots and fasten her utility belt to be prepared to depart; her clothing, lightsaber and the gear in the pouches on her utility belt not only all that she owns, but all that she often needs to complete any task she is assigned or accepts.

*Ellie was more than excited to hear her twins response. Her enthusiasm returned, and she had to force herself to act like she was still calm.* "Can you meet me in the hangar in an hour? I should have everything ready by then."

Smiling as she notes Ellie's enthusiasm, unable to keep herself from allowing the sight to cause a spark of hope within her that whatever darkness haunts her twin will be overcome so long as they face it together, Kaiya nods eagerly, "One hour, in the hangar. Wild Rancors couldn't keep me away, vod."
Laughing to herself after Ellie has gone to make ready what needs to be ready before they set out, Kaiya wonders what she will do for the entire hour she has to occupy; trained to be ready at a moment's notice, Kaiya is not accustomed to having more than just that to prepare for missions or journeys. Eating and bathing luxuries that are not always guaranteed when departing into the unknown, Kaiya decides to take advantage of the time she has to have what could very well prove to be the last unhurried meal and relaxing shower she will have in a while.
After having a somewhat leisurely breakfast and indulging in a longer shower than usual, Kaiya fastens her right Neo-leather forearm guard as she steps into the hall outside of her room, her lightsaber hanging on her left hip on her utility belt with its miscellaneous pouches containing her gear completing her "packing". Her stride purposeful and intent, Kaiya makes her way towards the hangar to meet her twin . . .
