Honon grimaces in pain as Kateri's kick lands, his breath whooshing out as he flails gracelessly backwards to try and gain the precious seconds he needs to recover. Kateri does not give her brother the time he needs, moving seamlessly and unhesitatingly from the defensive to pure offense now that an opening has been created for her to do so. Lunging forward, Kateri feints a darting stab for Honon's upper torso that dips at the last moment for his upper thigh.
As her twin flips overhead, Kaiya utilizes the moment to break off as she has been wanting to do, calling on the Force to move in a blur from beneath Ellie, who seems for a moment to be flipping overhead in slow motion, to Kateri's side so that they can attack him together.
Honon eludes his sister's first two strikes, sidestepping nimbly so neither feint nor true strike meet their mark. Batting Kat's next stroke aside, Honon tries to angle his lightsaber to capture his sister's so that he can break her stride, their blades yowling angrily as, from his perspective Kaiya seems to disappear as Ellie flips over her. Kaiya seems to blink into view in front of him, and Honon sees Ellie landing to swing her lightsaber for where her twin's knees were only an instant ago, and then Kaiya's lightsaber flashes in over the crossed blades of Honon and his sister, singing his tunic over his heart.
"Frak," Honon mutters, unigniting his lightsaber and stepping back from the fight as Kat and Kaiya turn to face Ellie . . .

*Ellie clenched her teeth in anger as Kaiya dodged her strike. Even with her back turned, she could feel Honons disappointment as Kaiya's lightsaber struck him. She gripped her blade tighter, at the same time she felt herself sink further into anger. She knew it was wrong, but a voice in her head asked what was wrong. What was wrong with giving in, she wondered it had helped before. The thought was quick, to quick for her to correct. Before she knew what she was doing, she was on the move. Reaching out with the force, she grabbed Honon's blade. The instant the blade hit her hand it activated. Turning, she faced her opponents, raising her blades, pointing one at each person. There was a new coldness in her eyes, along with a strong determination. She was ready for them.*

As Kaiya and Kateri begin to advance, spreading out without the need to exchange words or glances so that they are near enough to readily come to one another's aid while not so near that they would be hindered by one another, they move so that Kaiya is on her twin's left, and Kateri on her right. When Ellie calls Honon's lightsaber to her, Kaiya narrows her eyes when she sees something unfamiliar in her sister's gaze, something out of place that almost makes her call an end to the sparring session; were her focus not on the sparring session, or her concentration on maintaining her connection to the Force so that she can call on It if needed to enhance her reflexes or speed, Kaiya might have used her senses to detect the fluctuations in her twin's Force signature, but for now she remains unaware that what she has seen on Ellie's face is not merely determination, but the outward expression of what is happening within.
Knowing that Kateri, true to her chosen form, will have gone back on the defensive, Kaiya breaks the brief lull in the sparring match by bringing her lightsaber up into a two-handed grip over her right shoulder while sprinting forward towards her twin. Once within striking range, Kaiya draws on the Force to swing the blade blindingly fast on a downward diagonal out to her right side, feinting a strike towards Ellie's right shoulder; when the blade has almost reached its apparent target, however, Kaiya swiftly draws her wrists down towards her left hip, angled so her lightsaber hilt is brought to a vertical angle, and then stabs it out just as quickly towards Ellie's side.

*Time seemed to slow for Ellie as her twin moved in to attack. She shifted her position slightly as her sister swung at her, when she saw Kaiya's real strike move in for her side, Ellie removed herself from that spot completely. Sliding back, she raised the lightsaber in her right hand to block any further strikes. Shifting her left leg behind her, she spun towards her twins left side. As she spun, she brought her left blade in for a strike, putting the entire momentum of her body behind the strike. By now her anger and determination were fuelling her even more, enough now that she wasn't resisting it anymore.*

Kaiya barely manages to draw her arms back in, tilting her forearms upward and pivoting her wrists so that her lightsaber is on a downward diagonal to block the strike that smashes into the blade with an angry screeching yowl rather than her side. Pivoting her wrists back upwards, planting her legs firmly to strengthen her stance so she can try and force her twin's blade away from her side and upward, Kaiya steels herself to disengage swiftly should Ellie attempt a strike with her second weapon.
As Ellie's strike is blocked, Kateri darts forward and to Kaiya's right side, hearing the wind created by her passage rushing past her as she calls upon the Force to move with preternatural speed. Once to Kaiya's right, slightly ahead of the blonde Mandalorian, Kateri switches her hilt to her left hand, stabbing it out over the locked blades of the twins and towards the left side of Ellie's neck . . .

*Ellie's eyes were an cold ice storm as they locked onto her twins. She pushed back with all her strength trying to break her sisters guard. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw Kateri coming in for a strike. Breaking away from Kaiya, she darted back and out of striking range. She gave her blades a quick spin before raising them in a defensive position. Carefully she watched the two for any openings. Her hands gripped tighter on the hilts of her blades in slight agitation before starting forward. She moved two steps towards her sister before fainting left. Instead, with the aid of the force, she shot right to flank her twin.*

Kaiya moves her lightsaber into a vertical guard position to be prepared to intercept a strike for her left side when she sees her twin moving as though intent on moving into a position to attack her from the left, seeing too late that her twin's initial movements are a feint. Fortunately for Kaiya, Kateri chooses drop back a step and spin to move towards her right side at the same time Ellie begins her feint, and Kateri, having noted that Ellie seems focused on her sister, calls on the Force to quicken her every move as, going on the offensive, she launches an attack as soon as she reaches Kaiya's right side. Crouching, Kateri swings her blade out on an upward diagonal that will take it on a path from Ellie's hip to her opposite shoulder . . .

*Ellie gave a smirk as Kateri came in to attack her. The trap had been sprung, now it was time for Ellie to make the strike. Shifting her body slightly, she called upon the aid of the force and jumped. She shot right over top of Kateri in a high arc. Pivoting her body to get a better angle, she threw the lightsaber in her left hand at Kateri's back like a shuriken. Completing the arc, she hit the ground, pulling her body into a defensive stance and taking several steps back. With any luck, the blade would strike its intended target.*

As Ellie leaps overhead, Kateri lifts her lightsaber up to guard herself the attack from above she anicipates, moving swiftly to turn and face her opponent. Realizing her mistaken assumption a second too late, Kateri tries to lower her lightsaber to block the whirling lightsaber Ellie had hurled towards her back, but cannot do so before the blade hits her in the chest; were it a real lightsaber rather than a training blade, Kateri reflects as she grits her teeth and deactivates her own training blade, she would probably have been cleaved in two.
Kaiya gives Ellie no chance to orient herself after her leap, calling on the Force to move rapidly to where her twin lands. Her lightsaber and her body both mere blurs of motion, Kaiya lunges forward to try and ensure that even if Ellie moves backwards her strike still has a chance of landing since she whips it swiftly upwards on a diagonal that will, if unchecked, take it on a course from the outside of her sister's right hip and then upwards towards her left shoulder. . .

*Ellie barely raised her lightsaber in time to block her sisters stirke. She stumbled backwards before regaining her balance. Pulling herself back into a defensive stance, she prepared for another attack. As she did, her mind began to cloud even more. She could her the voice of the Sith from Felucia echo in her head, telling her to give into the darkside, that it would help her win. By now Ellie was barely able to resist it, her battle was turning into an internal struggle just as much as it was a physical one. Calling on the force, she was a blur as she darted at her twin. Raising her blade she swung, brining the lightsaber down striking towards her sisters left shoulder. With every passing moment, she was starting to lose control of herself, becoming more erratic in fighting style. It was only a matter of time before she made a grave mistake.*

Kaiya narrows her eyes as Ellie stumbles backwards, their connection strong enough that she can sense some of the storm gathering in her twin's mind. The longer the sparring session goes on, Kaiya thinks, the more likely it is that the storm could break; and there is no telling what the effects on Ellie might be if it does. Kaiya's thoughts don't take long, nor do they distract her from attending to her twin's movements, and her responses to those movements are fluidly instinctual, muscle memory and training enabling her to perceive the approaching threat despite the great speed of Ellie's movements. Kaiya reorients her lightsaber, bringing it to her left side in a horizontal guard, but she intentionally times her movements to bring it up to block the strike towards her shoulder so that she will miss.
Staggering to the side as Ellie's lightsaber impacts with her shoulder, a wispy curl of smoke rising from the blackened line the training blade leaves on her Neo-leather vest, Kaiya deactivates her training blade, lifting her right hand to call an end to the sparring session as she says, "Well fought vod," smiling even as she watches Ellie's expression for any signs that the end of the sparring session has not brought an end to her internal struggle.

*Ellie was surprised that her blade struck so easily. She remained silent for a moment, stairing at her sister. Her mind began to clear some, but the anger was still there.* "Yeah....I guess." *She glanced over at the other two before turning back to her twin. Her blade hummed for several more seconds before shutting off. She closed her eyes and let out asigh. Her head hurt now and her body felt heavy. In the back of her mind she could almost feel a dark presence still lurking. She almost gave a shudder.* "I....think I should have waited a few days before sparring. Kinda tired." *She wasn't sure what to really aay, at least not in front of Kate right and Honon. Had it just been her sister, then she would have told her straight forward.*

Walking over to congratulate Ellie on her victory, Honon laughs when she has an unenthusiastic reply to Kaiya's congratulations, telling her, "You guess? If you were able to school us all when you're tired, I'd hate to see what would have happened if you were . . ."
Hitting her brother on the shoulder, not as oblivious as he is to some part of what had happened with Ellie near the end of the duel, Kateri tells Ellie gently, "If you're tired, you should probably get some rest. Looking pointedly at her brother and then towards the door, she says, We should get going. We have some studying to do. We'll see you tomorrow for breakfast?"
Nodding and forcing a smile, Kaiya answers for her and her twin, "Bright and early, sure. Have fun studying, she adds with a wave as the siblings leave the training room. Resting a hand on Ellie's shoulder once they are alone, Kaiya asks in a concerned tone, Want to talk about it vod?"

*Ellie watched the two leave before speaking. * "Vod. I almost lost control. It...it happened so fast. I could hear his voice in my head, trying to make me give in." *She looked at her twin with a slightly pained expression.* "Maybe I shouldn't have gone straight into a fight. Probably should have waited a few days."

Frowning, her concern for Ellie evident in her tone and expression, Kaiya nods and takes a deep breath before, trying to reassure herself as much as her twin, saying, "Ok. Ok, look, maybe this was actually a kind of good thing, you know? I mean, now we know, right? And, she smiles in an attempt to be reassuring, and you didn't lose it vod. That's good too. You can, we can deal with this, ok? We'll leave the sparring for later, when you've got a better handle on things, alright? We'll focus on, I don't know, meditation and other things that will help you strengthen your connection to the Light side. Running a hand over her forehead to brush a few sweaty stands of blonde hair off her face, Kaiya asks uncertainly, Or . . . do you think we should let Master Kei'takao know? He could help us vod, I know he could."

*Ellie listened to her sisters words, wanting to believe what she said. She wasn't exactly sure what to do.* "A...good thing?" *But was it? She asked herself, during the fight she had almost lost control.* "I...I don't know. Should we tell him? Will he tell the council? What would they say?" *Her mind was running faster then she wanted it to. The thought of what the council might do if they didn't understand what she went through made her feel sick. It felt like a cold hand clenched her stomach in a tight fist.* "Vod. What if it gets worse? What if I can't control it, and.." *And what? A voice said in the back of her mind. You fall, everyone falls at least once. If she did fall, then what would her sister have to do?*

Kaiya does her best to soothe her twin, resting her hands on her shoulders comfortingly and supportively as she says with utter conviction, "Vod, I know you can control this, alright? Maybe not alone, but you don't have to try and do it alone. I'm here for you, you know that, and maybe you're afraid of what Master Kei'takao or the council will say, but you have to know that they'll be there for you too, ok? I mean, one of the fracking Trials of Knighthood is confronting one's Darkside, right? You are not the only padawan that will have experienced something like this, and they are here to teach you how to deal with things like this, right? Nodding her head, as though she has at least convinced herself of what she has said, Kaiya pleads with her sister, I think we should tell him, vod. Master Kei'takao will know what to do, he will. We should trust him."

*Ellie knew her sister was right, and she herself was being stupid. She closed her eyes and gave a nod. Opening them she looked straight into her twins eyes.* "Okay, you're right. That's why we're here. I'll tell Master Kei'takao, but...maybe in the morning. I really am kinda tired. Besides, we have to see him anyway."

Looking visibly relieved that Ellie has agreed to speak with Master Kei'takao about all that she has been struggling with, Kaiya smiles and says, "I really think it's the best thing to do vod, and then, guessing that her twin will not want to dwell on the subject further since she has said that she is tired, stretches her aching shoulder muscles as she says, I'm pretty beat too, and then nods her chin towards the exit from the training room as she says, Come on, let's head for our rooms," before she walks out into the hallways to begin the trip to their rooms.
