I scratched my head, I had studied practically every style of light saber. But, for the life of me, I could not remember the style which used two handles, I mean, I had been designing a San-saber... But not even master Man'sell in all his splendor, would not be able to utilize the weapon without harming himself by the blades of this sansetsukon based saber. It was time to pull out the tome"Seisir, could bring out the scroll?" It was a moment of awkward silence before the tactical droid came out with a Tablet-like device. As it was placed on the table, I could only assume that the customers were looking at it with wonder and awe."Ladies and gentlemen, this is the grand scroll of instramta... Or at least most of it. It is in a holocron class. The gatekeeper claims to have access to what was stored in any instramtan scroll kept by any of her citizens. But without the other portion, the scroll can only access what the user has put in it." As I said this, I dimmed the light of the room and opened the scroll. The gatekeeper and I had our usual confrontation about using his knowledge without having the compass. After assurances, the gatekeeper disappeared and the room was filled with hundreds of light saber designs that spread throughout the room. Slowly I spun the disay until I had the questioned saber was in front of me."Aah... Here we go, the guard shoto. Now this is a tricky sort of saber, yes the wood of the Tree is as strong as metal... But it is rare enough to find a tree that by taking it, you have enough wood for your saber... Let alone finding pieces that fit this form of saber. I will help you gather the pieces, but I do not think the saber can be made of just wood." Turning to the group, I asked"Who is next?"

Xeonon opened the door into the little shop that Diamonte owned the Knight took off his black cloak that had covered his hood. He found it hard to trust people, especially in recent times. Yes this was a Republic world, and yes it supported the Jedi but you never knew who was out there looking. Watching. Waiting. What with the open declaration of war everyone was out to get you. Or so Xeonon thought.
Some years back he had encountered the man that owned the shop and together they had uncovered a cache of crystals that no doubt jump started the business. It was because of this that he had come here today but first he would need to speak to the man. Diamonte my friend are you in here! His voice was loud and booming, amplified by the dragite crystal ring on his right hand. The ring over the past weeks had slowly been corrupting him from the inside out, and if one was to look within Xeonon they would sense a change.

*I stopped at this point from even pursuing the pretense I was cleaning class cases as my jaw dropped, as projected in the air were a good few ten or more designs and these appeared perhaps to be a fraction, Diamonte plucked one out which was of particular interest. It's hilt design reminded me somewhat of a riot baton, yet it looked not so clumsy. I could see that the extra handle that protruded from the main body of the weapons hilt at a perpendicular angle could warrant its user a multitude of options.
I did not know why, but I was drawn to this design, it enticed me, before me I saw the versatility. I quickly shook my head, what was this nonsense; why in blazes was I even concerned with these Jedi tools.
It was then I felt the cool metal casing in the touch of what I could have sworn was a vacant right hand, I slowly turned my head to stare incredulously at my still outstretched right hand, and I looked horrified at the hilt of one such Jedi weapon in my hand. I emitted a cry of surprise and dropped the hilt upon the floor, it bounced several times and this noise, or perhaps my response drew unwanted attention, not to mention a few sharp gasps; since I had just dropped one of Diamonte's products.
I felt my cheeks come ablaze and I tucked my head down and swiftly collected the weapon and re-set it in the nearest vacant cabinet before turning and equally as swiftly making myself scarce by vacating the shop floor and exiting through the door.
Outside I drew rapid snaps of breath as my mind flew; by the stars what had I done?*

Turning to the group, I asked"Who is next?" =Lynda Jarvio= Listening to Diamonte and what Dragan had said to Dorothea, the Hapan woman with long blonde hair spoke up."Good to hear you've figured out a good design for your weapons, Dorothea. Dragan, would you like to go next?" =Dragan Riskbreaker= "Definitely sounds like a plan." Dragan said with a slight smile on his face. He hoped his lightsaber would be unique too.=Lynda Jarvio= "Oh, and Dorothea, if you are looking to make a guard shoto, they always go best as pairs." Lynda told the human girl with short chestnut-brown hair. After that, she looked to Dragan to see what Diamonte would say to him.=Dragan Riskbreaker= "So, what shall I do?" He said going up to Dragan, as the human born from Tattooine continued to talk to the owner of the store."Think something like a crossguard saber would work well for me?" =Amadeus Bloomfield= Hearing very well of the new individual that entered the store before he could interrupt Dragan, Amadeus looked at the Imperial Knight after uncovering his eardrums with his hands."Hi there, sir. Top of the drama class in school I take it, eh?" He said in a jokingly tone at the Imperial Knight's very hammy entrance.

Oh a ginger, how cute. If it had been a woman well lets say they would be cleaning up the stains in the store for weeks. Alas this was not the case. No instead he chuckled politely. Xeonon always had trouble connecting to people and this person was no different he was unable to look at Amadues in the eyes rather looking at his mouth when he spoke. Yeah man I always got to be the tree or the flower growing up. Amazing work, could have gone all the way had I been given a speaking role. This was all a total lie, Xeonon actually had little in the way of a traditional education. For years he worked as a slave, gleaning what he could from his masters daughter.
No much of his learning had been combat oriented. How to fight, tracking, tactics. All that good stuff. It wasn't until much later that he had learned all that good stuff normal people did. Do I even need to ask why you are here? This time he voice was actually normal, it seemed that the ring had a mind of its own. Maybe it did considering it was given to him by the feared Dragus.

'Oh, how the universe decides to through a gravity well along your warp route'
For a moment, I started to feel claustrophobic because of all the buzzing activity around me. having a class trip was NOT what i had intended, and each voice was pinging around in the empty cavern many Jedi call my exquisite mind. the fact that i had my ward in the front room as well only magnified the pressure.
…And then Solomon entered the shop, with a booming voice my hands did not know whether to go to my ears to stop the noise, or to a buzz button on the showcase for Seisir to bring me my vaporizer. Holding a single finger up, I acknowledged Xeonon, and meant to convey that I would be with him as soon as i had dealt with the Jensaarai students.
'give me a moment please'
CLANG
Nope, it would be tougher than flying through Bothawui's Asteroid belt to get back to warp. my head snapped so fast to Rak… and actually I caught a small moment of a natural smile as i noticed one of my sabers on the ground, and Rak furiously trying to pretend it didn't happened, i motioned for him to place the saber on his belt until we could discuss what happened. reaching to his mind, i told him
We will talk about this later
It was quite a smile that was on my face for some time. Because no one "Accidentally" picks up a lightsaber. even if you don't know you are doing it, you always have a reason for it. It was a game changer that this kid could use the force. the other thing that made me smile was the ding the floor left on the saber… maybe it was just my weird mentality… but between me, and the master that had taught me, the greatest compliment I felt an artisan could receive was to see his saber bumped and bruised, because it meant the Saber was used and often.
As my attention shifted back to the party at hand I realized i needed a calculator so that I could bill Garwig for the supplies i dispensed. I didn't even think i had enough Brylark wood for 1 guard shoto… and the teacher is telling the little girl to make two? But then everything snapped as the boy asked me if I thought a saber would fit to him
"Exsquiise me?… EXSQUIISE ME?!?! You come into my shop, barely knowing my reputation, and have the gall to ask me if I think a saber would work for you after I had one classmate of your's do a specific exercise to ascertain what saber would fit her???"
I could feel myself snapping. i reached down and hit the buzz button as i felt issues from my past rise up. relaxing my muscles i fell backwards until i was konked out.
It was a moment later when I opened my eyes again. I felt a wave of ashla receding from washing over me. and a playful sound tickled my ear. it was somewhere between a Tiger's purr, and a Dragon's Roar. Reaching for the mask of my Vaporizer that now covered my face, I lifted it enough so that my mouth was clear.
"I apologized everyone… within the last couple months I have been in a very stressful situation in a war zone… and I lost someone dear to me. I have tried everything I know, but i have not been able to release myself from mourning my friend."
Turning back to Dragan, i began
"If you seek the guidance of complete strangers, they can manipulate you to choosing something that will be in their favor on the battlefield. now, you know the exercise, repeat what Dorothea did."
As Xeonon seemed intent on getting me to help him with… whatever he planned on doing, or making a scene, I took a moment and addressed him directly.
"What can i help you with Solomon… finally decide to get a saber color other than Silver?"

=Amadeus Bloomfield= "We're Jensaarai students from Contruum brought here to construct new lightsaber hilts. What are you here for?" The Jensaarai initiate asked, as he and everyone else then heard Diamonte's outburst.
....
After everyone looked at Diamonte in surprise as to how he reacted, they then heard him apologize. Seemed he had just been through a tough time within a battle and loosing a close comrade.
=Lynda Jarvio= After hearing Diamonte excuse his outburst, the Hapan woman responded. "We're sorry too if we said anything that offended you. If there's anything your uncomfortable with in regards to the construction of these sabers, all you have to do is say it."
=Dragan Riskbreaker= After hearing his teacher talk and Diamonte tell the human male to repeat what Dorothea had done, Dragan closed his eyes as he held out his palm to get a feel of his lightsaber. It felt like the crossguard saber, but the material that the lightsaber was made from felt strange. It was hard and rocky, not as smooth as metal or wood. A vision from the Force came into Dragan's mind as he envisioned his lightsaber. A crossguard saber, with it's hilt made of blue crystal and it's blade of silvery-blue plasma. "I see my lightsaber. I think it is a crossguard, but it's hilt seems to be made of a blue crystal. Is that even possible to craft?" Dragan asked. The lightsaber he envisioned looked incredibly elegant and beautiful. With his eyes still closed and still seeing the crystal hilt in his thoughts, he listened to Diamonte as he'd respond to Dragan.

Ah the Jensaarai, bet you didnt know but I helped build your temple. His voice was actually full of amusment, he had not expected to run into one of this order for a long time. Quite frankly he was impressed. Although the order was not knew by galactic standards it seemed that thus far, this iteration of the bad asses had survived. Nay. Thrived. I can actually answer both of those questions at the same time gents. I am looking for a new crystal, a rare one. I figured that Diamonte here; being one of the most educated people in the galaxy about such things may be able to help me out. He was hoping appeal to the mans hubris, using such words. The Imperial records had tell of a crystal that produced a curved blade and could do something mine or yours cant. At this Xeonon actually took out his own lightsaber which had been under his cloak and turned it on. SNAP HISS With his own weapon he turned it on his wrist as the blade touched the metal it sputtered and shut off. According to these documents this crystal can cut through Cortosis unaffected. Secretly he hoped that he had startled those around him. Normally he would not have done that, but the sigil ring on his right hand had been bring out the darker aspects within him. This was just a prank, a cruel one but a prank that was like a gateway. Now I will be the first to admit that Imperial records are sketchy at best. The original stuff stolen during the early hours of Order 66 was no doubt incomplete but plenty of the information was lost during the years of darkness after the death of Palpatine. I was hoping a Jedi would be able to help me out. To bad for Xeonon he did not know the name of the crystal, nor the name of it as they were just snippets that he had found.

You must be Xeonon Solomon then. Our Saarai-kaar has said good things about you." =Vejovis Bormo= Shortly after hearing Amadeus talk to Solomon, everyone witnessed as the Imperial Knight demonstrated the lightsaber blade being disabled due to the effects of cortosis. While Dragan still looked at Diamonte for his thoughts on the hilt in his vision, the others listened to Xeonon talk about a lightsaber crystal that allowed immunity to the negative feedback from contact with cortosis. Recognizing the description, the Bith named Vejovis spoke up."I believe our Saarai-kaar has talked to us before of this crystal's existence. If I remember right, it's a crystal that comes from the planet Mestare. Am I right, Miss Lynda?" =Lynda Jarvio= "That's true, Vejovis. Garwig has talked of it before. Before we left for this planet, he did inform me via holomessage he intends to organize some missions for collecting materials of interest and weapons for the order's usage. One of these missions he said was to go to this Mestare to acquire as many of the crystals we can find." The blonde Hapan told the Bith male. Garwig had told her besides Mestare, there were also plans for missions to Kashyyyk, Bespin, Bal'demnic, Tatooine, Mustafar, Raxus Prime, and Hoth. If possible, maybe the Jedi that Diamonte knew, and the Imperial Knights that Solomon was a part of would be interested in not only joining in the Mestare mission, but the other missions as well. The more help the better, she thought.

*A voice that oddly sounded an awful lot like Diamonte's rang out inside my head, I turned to see him looking at me, and encouraged by his motion I took the unfamiliar weapon with me and continued to flee the scene.
My head was reeling, how had my Guardian communicated with me so clearly yet had certainly not done so vocally, how and why had the weapon wound up in my hand, why did I feel so at odds. I was afraid and had nothing to draw upon as a source of comfort, what was happening to me and why, all these people all seeking Diamonte's assistance, just what was this man and what part did I have to play in the grand scale of things.*

"nothing is wrong with the construction of these Sabers… Just the jumble of activity jogged me back to a recent time, when in the heat of battle i made a stupid decision that cost me my best friend"
Putting my vaporizer away i turned to Dragan… this was where it would start getting interesting. Clearing my mind i focused on one design and deconstructed it into its various parts. this would present a greater challenge as the Crystal would have to be a very thin yet very stable design so as to not shatter in it's owner's hand in battle.
"it is possible. but it's feasibility is another thing. I may have to help you out with this one. It will take a while…" i pick up a small fake hurrikane crystal. "…it takes me about 36 hours to make this single synthetic to the quality that it could be confused by a common burglar for the real deal… and what you are talking about is vastly grander than this. but there are whispers on the wind of skills that could accomplish this feat. the tome would refer to it as Ashla Alchemy… but, since i have not cleared the skills, the best i can do is art of the small."
I turned to Xeo, as his question was answered, i signaled to him that i would assist him once the school trip was over. Then turning to my ward i saw the confusion written on his face. I winked at him.
"ok, so who is next… please do not make me repeat myself… by now you should know what i expect you to do."

" ok, so who is next… please do not make me repeat myself… by now you should know what i expect you to do." =Dragan Riskbreaker= Seeing Lynda nod to what Diamonte said, Dragan listened to the idea that the man pitched to him. It sounded as if the crystal hilt could be made, but the crystal would be synthetic that would look similar to a deep blue Hurrikaine crystal. No matter, Dragan thought. It all sounded like it would work out."Thanks, sir. Hearing all of that brings a smile to my face." =Vejovis Bormo= Stepping up to be the next to do as Diamonte instructed, the Bith male took out his hand as he closed his eyes. Trying to envision the hilt in the grip of his hand, while asking for help from the Force spiritually in seeing his lightsaber before himself.
Seeing his lightsaber, he saw that it was greatly unique. It looked like a Fizzz instrument. At the bottom of the hilt was a short single-reed to blow into to make music, while the side of the hilt had a peel rod with the activation stud nearby to adjust the sound. Of course, at the top of the hilt it had two spots. A small hole for the music to flow out of for all to hear, and the focusing lens for where his lightsaber blade would come out of. He didn't know if it were possible to create such a hilt that could double as a musical instrument, but if the Force told him this was his saber, then it must be possible."I see my hilt. It's something I think you'll find very interesting. A hilt that also acts like a Fizzz instrument. Ever heard of those?" The Bith asked. The Fizzz, also known as a Dorenian Beshniquel, was known as one of the many instruments many in the galaxy used to play Jizz, Glitz, Aubade, Jizz-wail, and Jatz music. Vejovis was quite skilled in performing music with just about any kind of Jizz instrument. Including the Fizzz which he was very familiar with, along with the Kloo horn and Slitherhorn.

'a musical insturment…'
the thought wafted through my head as the holograms showed like wise. over 75 experiments were shown, each with a Red "X" on them symbolizing experiments that would not work. and to an extent it was not due to concept, i had invested money into these projects to find them each not working. Instruments were a hard thing to conceal a lightsaber within. concealing the ignition was one thing. for any instrument to be used, sound would have to be compensated for. If this were a stringed instrument, or even a brass, it would be easier to ad a superfluous area… but not on such a small of a single read instrument… oh I would lose sleep for months
"I'm sorry, it cannot be done."
wait a second… what am i saying? a spark came into my mind.
"SEISIR, MY PEN!" i shouted in a voice that would cause lesser beings to flinch.
when i received the pen i began to diagram in the air the trappings of a lightsaber, from its core to every nob and switch, then i cross referenced the idea with a different one and began to dream. the instrument could not play naturally, but, we design a concept around it… limit it's range… yes that would do. realizing that i was the only one that could see it, i clapped my hands around the image, and pushed it at my cybernetic eye, letting it sink into my memory and onto the projection of the scroll.
"Ok… not entirely impossible, but… it cannot be played as a regular instrument. everything has to be midi."

Long as it can play music, I can make it work. Though if anything can be done to make it's reach better, such as adding another reed to it, or making the hilt longer as if it were a long-hilted saber, I have no trouble with that." The Bith told Diamonte. If the Jedi couldn't find a way, the Bith would understand but would be happy regardless. It sounded as if the lightsaber in his vision could be done. Maybe not completely as he'd thought it would, but then again, visions through the Force can be misinterpreted.=Amadeus Bloomfield= Watching Vejovis speak with Diamonte, Amadeus prepared for himself to go next. The Tapani noble took a few deep breaths and open himself up to the Force, for he'd need it's aid in visualizing his lightsaber.

Amadeus told Diamonte with a smirk on his face, then did as the others did and closed his eyes. Extending out his right hand out and opened his palm. Trying to visualize through a vision brought by the Force of his lightsaber in his empty hand. As he stood there, a blurry image as it became clearer within his mind began to take form. In his hand, he saw what looked to be a lightfoil. The same kind of lightfoil that the nobles of Tapani used, except that this weapon contained within a focusing crystal of much higher quality than the weak ones that the nobles used, making it of proper lightsaber quality. The bellguard seemed to be made of aurodium and electrum while the hilt was itself was steel with leather. He then saw it's blade emit from it's focusing lens, showing it was silvery-blue. Opening his eyes, he told his vision to the Jedi nearby."I see my weapon. It's a lightfoil. It's hilt is made of steel with leather I thik. I believe the bellguard is made of aurodium or electrum, or something similar to them. I can only guess that's the material from how I see of it in my vision." Amadeus told Diamonte and paid attention to what his words to him would be in reaction to his vision.

I tossed my head to either side before i sketcheda new sword, It utilized the means as described... but he drew it with a secondary crystal chamber above the bellguard. the design of such a saber would allow a second crystal to be placed in, refocusing the energy into an even sharper blade
"how does this look?"

It was a normal Morning at the store, Seisir was attending to the storefront as MIstress Mistia had Mistress Donna were upstairs. suddenly the door swung open and a cloaked jedi with a black arm band entered. seisir tried to get a scan of the new person but could not find a inch of skin uncovered. the man placed a Black datapad on the counter before turning and exiting the shoppe. Seisir gave it a once over before going into panic mode. he sent an internal message through Gordon, before rushing upstairs to report the news to mistress Mistia
