I've been waiting a long time for this day. I happen to have a glass of champagne here, so let's all raise a glass to 10 years of JvS'ing, shall we?

JVS has been (in my mind) a great success. As someone who has been around for quite a while, I’m truly thankful to everyone who has rp'ed and still rp's here. I can tell every person here is committed make this community what it is, and it’s really inspiring to see. This community of dedicated, brilliant writers has stood the test of time, and this years Sithies event marks the 10th anniversary. I hope you all enjoy your stay here!
Before we get to the awarding, rping, and general madness that takes place here, there are a few people I want to thank for their amazing work these past years.
For doing all the logistics, location making, administrating, and support you can think of, I want to acknowledge the Whills. Without them, this site wouldn't be the same (as in it would be absolute chaos).
I also want to give special thanks to Chill for all of his guides. As much as it pains me that I can no longer spawn in a random superweapon whenever I please, his guides and rules have helped the community become better, and set new people up.
Thanks to Nicademus Delvardus for creating the First Order, the best baddies I've seen yet.
Another big thanks to Victor Marshall and Aerandir Calmical, for creating the GA and the Jedi Order. Who knows, maybe they will stand for 250,000 years?

Aderon turned around looking at the short, hooded creature who walked up to him. Though he was small, Aderon sensed that he was strong in the Force. “Well hello there, my little friend. I’m looking for a meeting with the high council.”
As he extended his hand for the Jawa to shake, he casually moved his cape slightly, briefly revealing his curved, polished lightsaber hilt, just to bring the message home that he meant business.

Every rich star system needs defense, and the House wasn’t planning of ignoring this. A fleet of ships blockaded the system. Currently, command was centered aboard the MC-90 Cruiser, but Vanessa had much grander plans in place. For in the orbit of Serenno, the beginnings of a Firestar-Class orbital defense platform we’re taking shape. This would serve as the new command for the planet’s defense.

Vanessa Dooku, sister of the Count, strode into the old assembly house that was created by the Separatists. In the house, workers were busy refurbishing the ancient space. Replacing stone, polishing surfaces, bringing in expensive woods, plush chairs, beautifully made tables, ornate fixtures, and many other luxuries. She strode into her office and immediately knew she would like it. Built on the west side of the building, it had the richest furnishings of all. However, none of this grabbed her attention more then the view out of the window. Overlooking a valley, it provided stunning views of the sunset, the massive rainforests and sweeping plains. It was one of the most beautiful views on the planet, second only to that from their family estate. Due to neglect, Serenno’s beautiful cities had been falling into ruin. An army of construction droids were seeing to that. House Dooku had grand plans for Serenno. They were going to turn it into an important system, not just a neglected backwater, hated for the original Count’s misdeeds. As beautiful trees were planted, streets and roads rebuilt, and buildings repaired, Vanessa knew that they would stay here for a while.
