Luxeria watched as Vurkar worked himself behind Malkor, staying there as the attack hit. She did not let any regret run through her body though. He might have been an ally, yet he stayed in its path, even if it was to ensure their opponent was hit. It was his own fault for the damage and it would grant him no pity, such an emotion she knew he cared nothing for.
As he let Malkor's lifeless body fall to the ground, Luxeria opened her hand and her saber returned to it. Some of her clothes were smoking from the strike of lightning as well as displaying some blistering along her own skin. Her breaths her already growing heavy as she felt the pain slowly start fading. She walked up to him before raising her saber and bringing it down to severe Malkor's head. She would take no chances in him faking his death and getting the drop on them.

Vurkar raised his hand, making his long-handled lightsaber fly into his damaged hands. It ignited once more as the Sith approached the pair who executed Levitus. Maxir drew his own lightsaber as well, but Tiiona, the female, raised her hand to stop her brother. After all, they were servants of Lord Malvus and this was his son. Vurkar's hands grip his ignited lightsaber tightly as he approached the pair.
Who in the hell are you two? Carrying out my father's orders and commanding his soldiers?
Tiiona grabbed her own lightsaber and placed it upon her hip.
We serve your father as the Dark Cabalists, an elite group of Dark Side Adepts. There are seven of us; my brother, Maxir and I were assigned to assist in eliminating Levitus and Malkor. Our other five colleagues are on Eriadu, dealing with the remaining three Sith Lords. Our purpose is to serve Lord Malvus as his hands and the shadowy enforcers of his will.
Vurkar began to realize Solaris's words. It seemed that, with the fruition of Malvus's plans, new persons were added to his group, expanding his ability to influence events in the Outer Rim and ensure that his plans were successful. Compared to Luxeria and Vurkar, who were metaphorically knights serving their liege, these two and the other five on Eriadu were nothing but pawns in Malvus's game. The Sith glances back at the corpses of Malkor and Levitus.
That explains their demise. My father wanted them eliminated to ensure that his subordinates were not his equals, but rather, those who would obey his commands and enforce his will. This was done to ensure his plans would fall through and not be met with any opposition that these Sith Lords would present. He knew that myself and Luxeria would not argue with his plans, given their goals, but he still needed adepts that served a much different purpose.

Luxeria looked at Malkor's corpse for a moment longer before turning to face the pair. Her own saber stayed ignited in her hands as they spoke with Vurkar. "Well, I guess we were right about their transfer to at least some degree." However, Luxeria was not fond of the words spoken by Vurkar. True she wouldn't argue with the orders to eliminate them, but was this the future she had to look forward to? Would she continue to grow stronger until her own power and place started to become equal to Malvus only to have this be her fate? Is was far from a compelling reason to stick around, yet she knew she could gain power under Malvus and she was tired of searching. At least now, she knew to always keep an eye on her back for such an occasion.
She kept herself calm during this change of thought and after a moment, pushed it to the back of her mind. She turned her attention back to Vurkar. "I'm assuming we still have a mission to complete? I don't think your father would waste sending this many troops and high ranked leaders just to eliminate these two Sith, even if for show."

Vurkar glances at Luxeria and nods to her.
Indeed. Intel still said that there were remnants of my father's former empire that exist upon this planet. Our party was sent to secure this base as a forward command while the main machinery and infantry divisions are landed. From here, we can scan the planet for the remnant's location and smash them.
The Sith glanced at the dark side practitioners for a moment. So this was the secret his father had kept; a group of adepts who were neither Sith nor Dark Jedi, but capable individuals that had dabbled in the Dark Side without any formal training. It seemed his father wanted a stricter group of Sith than having Darths all over his ranks. His mind began to wonder what sort of plans Malvus had in the future to come.
His thoughts were interrupted by his comlink going off. Vurkar pulls it out, revealing a blue image of Solaris.
General Vurkar, the opposing fleet has been destroyed and additional troops are being sent planetside. Is the facility secure?
Yes it is, Supreme Commander. The rogue Sith had been rooted out of their rat holes and exterminated.
Excellent. I shall forward your report to Lord Malvus. Ensure power is on and that equipment is operable by the time I arrive. Solaris out.
Vurkar places the comlink back onto his belt and glances at Luxeria.
It seems we got a little time before the real campaign begins. Take your soldiers to check on the specialist squads sent to bring power back on, Luxeria. I will work on continuing the full sweep of this facility and securing it before Solaris arrives.

Luxeria deactivated her saber and replaced it on her belt as Solaris came up on Vurkar's comm. She listened to the small conversation. The small fleet had been taken care of, and by what it seemed, without much difficulty. When Vurkar spoke of the rouge Sith, her mind flashed back to the two, men that had seemed to follow Malvus. She glanced back at the corpses, wondering just what they had done. Did they seek to get rid of Malvus, or was it simply a matter of being unworthy and no longer having a use to him? She simply let out a faint, agitated breath before turning back to Vurkar as he began to speak.
She nodded and gave the command to the troops under her. They began gathering and heading out the door. Luxeria looked for a moment more at Vurkar, then the two adepts, and finally the corpses again before heading out behind her own soldiers. There would be time to think on the events that had just transpired after the mission was over. There was still a mission to complete and others to be eliminated.
She followed the troops as room after room was checked over for the specialist squads. The place was big and she figured none were very familiar with the layout, meaning they'd search every room until they caught up to them, as well as to ensure none were residing within the base itself to cause problems.

Power would be restored within the hour as additional gunships landed to unload Snowtroopers into the base. Heavy machinery and artillery pieces were disembarked on the lower levels of the facility were larger hangar bays were located. Though Solaris was still absent, Vurkar gave orders to send out scouting parties and ensure patrols were on alert. The Sith would walk into the makeshift command center which was the main communication hub of the Alzoc III Base. Luxeria was recalled to that part of the facility to await the arrival of Solaris or at least some orders from the Supreme Commander.

With the power finally on, Luxeria made her way to where she was called to. She made sure to have the soldiers keep looking through the building and aiding the others squads as needed until further orders came in.
Luxeria walked into the communication hub to see Vurkar waiting around. Making her way to the center, she leaned against one of the consoles, making sure not to start pressing anything and crossed her arms. "Do we have anything on the remnants?"

Vurkar pulls up a recent scout report and a holorecording. He points to the mountains in the recording.
Low-levels of transmission activity are emitting from that. Scouts also picked up auto-turret defenses in various locations. The snow revealed some wiring from hidden generators. This has to be their main headquarters. The warlord has been unable to extend his domain beyond this mountain due to the weather.
The Sith hears the door behind them open as Solaris walks in with Maxir and Tiiona. Vurkar steps to the side where Luxeria was as Solaris walks up to the console controls. His eyes turn to the pair.
The last of our soldiers and weaponry have been landed. We should begin making progress from here on out. I have also gotten some reports from Eriadu. Once we smash these warlords, Lord Malvus is recalling the two of you to Eriadu for further assignments. It seems some new developments have happened.

Luxeria viewed over the report and recording, taking note of the mountains. She was about to speak when the door opened. She stood straight and turned to him, taking note of how casually Solaris walked in with the other two. It caused a slight flare of irritation that she let out in a quite, long sigh. It always bothered her when she was kept in the dark on something that she was involved with. But she wasn't about to let the thought derail her mind from what needed to be done.
She look in the progress that was seeming to be made back on Eriadu. She was curious as to what was going on that called for her Vurkar to head back once the warlords had been dealt with. She was quite ready to get the mission over with and her mind on other things. She turned her attention back to the recording that Vurkar had pulled up. "So what is the plan to get to the warlord within the mountains. I would imagine that with the snow falling as it is, the radar may be hindered, unless equipped to be used in these conditions. How do we get around them or otherwise draw him out?" She figured that was the point of the troops and weapons brought. Still, she thought on the aspect of stealth and avoiding a straight fight when the enemy has big guns and could be in a practical fortress within the mountain area.

Solaris pulls up a map, detailing known intelligence of the mountain fortress. As he keyed it some more, the terrain expanded to reveal tunnels beneath the snowy and iced surface. Tunnels that were once used for mining, storage and even by the Talz natives. The Imperial looks at Vurkar and Luxeria.
A frontal assault and artillery bombardment will distract the warlord long enough for additional troops to make their way beneath the surface. We will use the tunnels to our advantage and launch an attack from within the fortress itself. This two-pronged attack should be sufficient in breaking down their defenses and allowing us to swarm the entire fortress. They haven't fought a capable foe in a long time.

Luxeria looked over the map, taking in the tunnels and their routes. With the plan Solaris had, things sounded as if they'd go quite smoothly if things were timed right. She nodded her own approval of the plan though she knew her approval didn't matter. "Well then, how about we be good neighbors and go say hello?"

Vurkar nods in agreement with Luxeria's words and stands up straighter, moving away from Solaris and the pair of Dark Cabalists. He would leave the room to prep his own division for the secret attack. Solaris, in the mean time, would glance over at Luxeria. He hands her a comlink.
Lord Malvus wants you to report to him when you have the time, Luxeria. Make sure Vurkar is with you as he will bring you both up to date on whats going on. From what I have heard, his plans have been advancing rather quickly than anticipated.

Luxeria watched as Vurkar left to prepare his division. She didn't know what lay in wait for them on the inside, but she wondered if it would be better for just a small group of troopers to follow them. If they tried taking tooo many, they might get picked up. However, her own mind was as tactically in tune with combat of such a scale, and even more, she didn't know anything truly of what they were about to face and what defenses they really had. She would have to go with Solaris and Vurkar's judgement.
As she started to turn to head out as well, she looked at the comlink for a moment before finally taking it. She put it away as she looked back to him with a nod. "Once the attack has been finished, I'll contact him." Perhaps it was intended to try and make contact between the attack and now, but she saw it as simply thus: the attack was the priority. If there was something he wished of them elsewhere, it served no purpose in contacting him before and putting anything else on her mind. If there was something vital to the operation, Malvus wouldn't have wished for her to contact him so much as informed Solaris and had him tell everyone else.
With a final nod, she left to prepare her division as well. She wondered, though, if perhaps it would be wise to keep some of them for the secret attack, but have some work the battle outside. They were stealth troopers, which meant that they could add a third level of chaos in the battle. A battle outside, a secret attack inside, and unknown attacks coming from elsewhere.

Vurkar's division was stationed within the same mining area where Malkor and Levitus were executed. The tunnels where the Dark Cabalists had appeared were the same exact ones that needed to be traversed in order to attack the Mountain Fortress from beneath. There were some vehicles with them as the tunnels were big enough to carry smaller hovertanks. Only a few were brought to serve as an armored reserve when a foothold was gained.
Vurkar sat upon a crate, examining his armor which had heated padding within it. The Sith was making sure that they were operational as the tunnels were at a freezing point since power had yet to be restored to the mining caverns. Snowtroopers were gearing up with repeating blasters, explosives, grenades and other gear needed for the upcoming battle. The stealth attack division was designated to leave one hour early before the attack began upon the surface.

Luxeria had checked in with her troops and made sure all were ready to move. Once everything was in place, she made her way into the hangar where the previous battle unfolded. She looked to see Vurkar sitting alone on a crate examining his armor. His preparations with his team had obviously been finished and all that was left was waiting to move.
As she moved towards him, she looked around at a few of the hovertanks that would going with them. While it was considered a stealth attack due to coming up from inside the base itself, it was still rather flashy. Still, the goal was to take out the warlords. Once that was done, Vurkar and herself would be on their way to a new location. Truth be told, she was ready to get off this world. It was much too cold for her liking.
Reaching Vurkar, she leaned against some of the crates and crossed her arms. "I take it everything is ready to go?"

Vurkar would glance up as Luxeria was sensed approaching him. The tattooed male looked at her for awhile longer before his gaze returned to his armor he was tending to. After a long moment of silence, the Sith's head turned once more, looking at where the troops were gathering for the tunnel assault.
The entire Seswenna Vanguard has been given to us, Luxeria. 6,000 troops in total; Imperial Jumptroopers, Shocktroopers and Dark Novatroopers. Solaris told me that those two, Maxir and Tiiona, have been added to our group. It seems that the surface will have recording devices for the frontal assault, hiding the images of our attack from within.
Vurkar stands up and begins to strap the armor onto his person once more. He pauses for a moment, reaching into the crate that he sat upon and tossed a heated suit to Luxeria. The tunnels would be rather cold given that there was little to no power through the passageways they would be journeying through soon.
Public footage will be needed to convince the galaxy of Ses-Trade's noble intentions, hiding our presence on Alzoc III. Solaris has already begun fabricating holofootage of Levitus and Malkor's death at the hands of Stormtroopers. Father will look it over and have the HoloNews on Eriadu broadcast it when victory is achieved here.

Luxeria lifted a hand to catch the suit before nodding. "Of course, got to make it look noble to keep the Jedi from finding out what's going on. Levitus and Malkor's death will also prove useful. After all, by what I know of the Sith, this isn't the way we take each other out." She chuckled slightly before looking out at the soldiers. "Well, let's get this party underway. The sooner we're done, the sooner we're out of here. We'll have to get in touch with Malvus as soon as we're done here." Even as she stood there she began putting on the suit.

Vurkar nodded in agreement with Luxeria. Although Alzoc III was his birthplace, he never really liked the arctic conditions on the planet that never ceased. Eriadu was much better as there was much more to achieve upon a world that was bustling with opportunities compared to a single mining facility. Nonetheless, the son did not question his father's orders.
Once Luxeria and him were suited up, Vurkar would join the column of troops that were already entering the cave tunnels below the advancing Imperial forces upon the surface. At some areas where the tunnels got closer to the surface, Vurkar's ears caught the sound of AT-AT feet and the hovering noises of repulsortanks. It surely will be a great display for the folks back home; the might of Ses-Trade crashing down upon pirates who were backed by defunct and wannabe Imperials. Vurkar desired and wanted to be on the surface where the fighting would be the thickest, but this was a much better approach.
After some time walking, Vurkar's gaze glanced over at Luxeria who was close at hand. His mind wondering about who she was; for the woman had appeared out of nowhere in fact and suddenly was his father's apprentice. A moment longer it was before Vurkar would speak up.
So what made you come and seek out my father, Luxeria? Not many know about him; in fact, any public information on him is very outdated. Under an old name, a former identity and with records that ended with his declared death upon Alzoc III.

Luxeria only glanced over at Vurkar with her eyes as he asked his question. While she had no issue telling the story again, she found it interesting at how many times she was asked what lead her to where it did. Looking forward again, she began the story. "It was a little over two years ago when I realized I had the power of the Force. Before then, I lived a great life with a rich family on Coruscant. We were kind, though, never flaunting our status and worked to help others. But in my early teenage years as I began to mature, I realized the effect my looks had on others and I became hooked on the power it brought me. Yet the day I discovered my power in the Force was the first day I was rejected. And it so happened to be a man that I was truly interested in. When he denied me, my anger took over and the Force was unleashed on him. After that, I went to the Jedi. They, too, denied me. No doubt they figured out why I wanted to learn."
She let out as sigh as a twinge of irritation rose momentarily. "Still, I worked on what I could for the next two years. I could only achieve some much on my own without any knowledge. It was then I heard of the Empire and the Sith that were among it. So I went to Kuat and met the Grand Inquisitor, Darth Andor. Shortly after becoming his apprentice, we went to Thule and met with the academy there. It was then Andor revealed his plan to create a new order, the Order of Ruin. Yet, it seems the task of nourishing the group and getting it rolling is quite the task. There seemed to be no time to further my training. I am a patient person, but I will not sit back and just wait to be trained at his convince. The other Sith I knew of were on Thule, aiding with the structure of the order. But I did find your father had arrived there, if only to see what was taking place. It was recorded enough of who he was and where he resided. I didn't know what to expect, as the records didn't tell me much other than he was not on Thule, which made it possible he wasn't so caught up. That is what led me to him. I seek power, and while patient, I will not wait for training, but seek out those who can show me the way."

Vurkar jumps down from a higher ledge and lands, taking a quick glance over at the troops who were continuing their way through the tunnels. It was an interesting story to hear from Luxeria. Coruscant, Jedi, Sith, Thule, the Order of Ruin, Kuat and then... here. From what Vurkar had seen, Luxeria felt more at home than anywhere else. She had yet to move on from his father and seemed rather content on learning from Lord Malvus. Vurkar finds a vantage point to overlook the hovertanks.
My father has always been ready to give what knowledge he can to the next generation. He has seen the shortfalls of the Sith today, which have overshadowed even the greatest successes of our recent history. If we are not careful, there will be no Masters left, only untrained pups. My father has learned much from history; personal and public, to know what must be done in order to continue our existence.
His eyes glanced over at Luxeria for a moment as the tanks lumbered by. It was hard not to look, granted that she was an attractive woman herself. Yet she was a Sith and there was poison hiding behind her looks, so Vurkar did not let his gaze linger for long.
It is fortunate that my father has found a capable apprentice however. He desires talent and merit above all other things; the reason why he eliminated those former Sith Lords who served him. Glory and success made them gluttonous and thus slothful, which only incurred my father's wroth. Its like he said, he will only employ the capable and worthy from now on...
