The Elder unstrapped his water bladder and took a long drink from it before re-corking it and setting it next to him. Then he brought his legs together and unhooked his lightsaber and began inspecting it.-The Elder- "The plan is quite simple...."The Elder expanded his hands and held his lightsaber aloft with the Force. The ancient weapon disassembled in the air, the twin Mephite and Pontite crystals shining with a strange light. Their green light lit the small shelter's rock walls up dimly as they spun around, the Elder inspecting them to make sure they had faired well while in Jud'dayus's care.Several minutes passed while the Elder reassembled his lightsaber, the only sounds being the sandstorm and the movement of the parts reassembling themselves. Finally, after what would seem like an eternity, the lightsaber was completed. The Elder gripped the hilt and with a simple movement of his finger the green blade shot out, lighting up the inside of the rock alcove with its bright light.-The Elder- ".....We knock."The Elder switched off his lightsaber and clipped it back onto his belt. Almost immediately the soft snoring of the old man could be heard from the mouth area of his mask. Anven sat quietly in the darkness of the alcove with his legs cross-legged and his arms crossed in front of him in a slight meditative state as he watched the sand storm pass by waiting for the Elder to finish what he was doing expecting that he was going to finish his sentence after he had completed his task. The sand blowing across the dunes was almost hypnotic as he stared unblinkingly out at it as his mind wandered remembering the events of the past few days having started simply with himself out looking for a missing Elder to now be sitting here with him on some grand adventure for Kumumgah secrets. As he was finding the whole thing just another day on Tatooine he was abruptly disrupted by the Elder's voice to which Anven took a moment to turn his head and look at the old man staying silent for a minute as he let the Elder's words settle in. Anven just chuckled as realized the Elder's plan was quite straight forward and even as the Elder began to snore away into sleep Anven found himself looking forward to tomorrows events and even as he leaned back against the wall of the alcove closing his eyes his mind began to wander again thinking of the many ways to break into an ancient vault as he too drifted off to sleep.

Having taken only a few steps away from his swoop before the Elder had called out to him Anven stopped where he was and waited patiently for this idea the Elder had. At first he noticed the Elder's protective bubble dissipate and so he was now in the midst of the sandstorm and he could feel the sand and wind blowing against his cloak but still he waited. Then it became clear what the Elder was doing as the ground rumbled and cracked as the stones began to rise from the sand forming a small alcove for them to hide in. Once the Elder had finished his little feat of awesomeness Anven made his way into the protective alcove and joined the Elder on the ground sitting against the rocks now just watching the storm rage on.
"I can see that you won't be stopped by a little exhaustion that or you are just a stubborn old man whatever it is it certainly seems to serve you well." Anven fell silent for a moment as he stretched out his arms and legs before resuming a cross-legged position on the ground. "So what are we going to do about this vault when we get there, I remember you saying it wasn't going to be easy to break into so I assume you have a plan."

The Elder pointed over Anven's left shoulder to a small rock formation that was barely visible through the sandstorm.-The Elder- "We can camp there until the storm passes. We both need some rest after today. Best keep our strength up for the Vault."The Elder huffed as he expanded the protective bubble holding back the sandstorm. His breathing became labored after a few minutes of holding the expanded bubble, and every now and again the sandstorm got through. He was trying to give Anven a better range of visibility, though he was still worn out from the battle with the Machine. Even he could not continue forever, though he would never admit it.-The Elder- "It will also give us a chance to plan." Anven looked off in the direction the Elder had pointed in just barely being able to see this small rock formation through the storm though despite this he turned towards this rock formation and sped in its direction though just in case t came up quicker than expected he aimed the speeder a bit off to the side of it to avoid crashing into it. As he they sped through the storm Anven took notice that the carrier protecting them from the sand grew wider and since then bits of sand made it through and even though he could not hear the laboured breathing of the Elder he knew the Old Man was pushing it but the extra field of view was appreciated."Elder take it easy I don't need you killing yourself from force exhaustion."Keeping up the speed on his swoop they came up on the rock formation quickly and when it became clearer through the storm Anven slowed the swoop down and approached more slowly until he could see rock inside the barrier. Bringing the swoop to a stop Anven got off and made his way over to the rocks in search go this place to get out of the storm some cave or an alcove in the rocks for them to take shelter in whatever it was.

The Elder spoke as they shot off South.-The Elder- "The Kumumgah used the crystals as a way to survive. While it didn't turn out how they planned, it is possible they had back up plans. Let's just hope the Vaults turned out better than the Crystals...."The sands started picking up in the wind around them. The Elder put his hands together, and slowly brought them apart. The sands moved back, clearing a spherical space around them, held back by the Elder.-The Elder- "Just keep going. I'll hold back the storm." Anven pressed on through the growing storm as the Elder held back the sand around them though that still didn't solve the problem of reduced visibility cause by the sand flying everywhere and so when his eyes failed him Anven relied on the force to guide him through the storm. With the force at his side and the Elder keeping the sand and wind from blowing him around he kept the swoop going at the its current speed for he there was no need to slow down...yet.
Even though Anven had remind silent after the Elder had spoken he had heard what the Old Man had to say but kept quite in order to concentrate at the task at hand guiding the swoop through the storm just so in the likely rare possibility that he might come across some huge rock formation or a random animal, the last thing he wanted was to have to walk the rest of the way to this Vault the Elder spoke off.

Anven helped the Elder carry out the supplies they had gathered and began tying them to the sides of his swoop as he listened to the Elder speak about what could possibly be inside those vaults and of course all the Elders examples could be very likely possibilities.
"Well possibly in the face of extermination they might have archived all their gathered knowledge of everything they had achieved. Then again the vaults themselves may have been survival chambers made to withstand the onslaught of their exterminators filled with everything they need to survive.
Once everything was tied onto the swoop Anven got on with the Elder and took off towards the south for their very very long journey to whatever secrets may lie behind the vaults left behind by the Kumumgah.

Anven got back off his swoop and followed the Elder back into the cave in order to help him search for supplies for the several day ride and this only made him wish more that he had brought his ship instead of setting out on a speeder of all things seriously it seemed the force just didn't like him today for not foretelling him in some way that he would need it.
"So these vaults you speak of what exactly is inside of them that would make Jud'dayus want to stop us from opening them?"
Anven began scavenging around the cave for the needed supplies to keep them alive for several days though taking note of what the Elder said that most of it might be rotten by now so he carefully checked the food to make sure it was still good and wouldn't make them stop more often to deal with their bodies not liking the food.
"Ya know if only there were good old beasts of burden around. it would make the trip a bit easier since my little swoop won't carry much on it along with the two of us but I am sure we will manage."
Anven continued to look through the supplies in the cave finding what was likely the meat from some kind of animal that the Tuskens eat though had long since gone bad much like the Elder had warned him and so he continued on looking. He eventually found water all various containers and such probably whatever the Tuskens could find or make and though it was warm water is water and so he began to pick up waterer he could carry.

Anven sat on his swoop after having packed away his things and slung the cycler rifle over his shoulder as he thought he would hold onto it for a while and he just waited for the Elder to get on. He then heard the Old Man say something about Anven not having to follow him and likely miss the glorious adventure ahead of them he just couldn't believe the Elder would suggest such a thing him miss out on the dangers of what may lay ahead of them and the fact that this vault was hard to break into just sealed the deal Anven wouldn't not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I appreciate the gesture of kindness but I must decline, there is no way I am missing out on all the fun besides it was you who said you needed my help and I guess there is the fact that you want me to see some things so there is that point as well.
That being said Anven proceeded to start up his swoop fully expecting the Elder to get on and begin their journey by at least pointing him in the right direction that they needed to go in since Anven was no mind reader....at least not all the time.

The Elder walked up beside Anven and pointed at the sky.-The Elder- "Look up there."What the Elder was pointing at was empty sky, save for a very spindly cloud. He moved back into the cave and began pushing the cannon up to the entrance by hand. Readying a torch to light the fuse.-The Elder- "Look for what isn't there, rather than what is there." Anven walked out of the cave with the cycler rifle he had been looking at and began to look up at the sky as the Elder had suggested him to and though it look like a very nice sky with the spindly cloud and everything yet he saw nor sensed anything of concern he just chuckled as he assumed that just maybe the Old Man was losing his touch.Anven called back to the Elder to report his findings and save him the time of wheeling out that old cannon. "I am looking and so far I can't find this what isn't there though I could say I wish my ship was there it would make all this travelling faster."Turning around Anven made his way back into the cave to pick up the unused medkit he had brought in for the Elder in case had needed and began to make his way back out this time heading over to his swoop that was sitting outside right where he had left it and began packing his things back into to prepare to leave once again."Alright I'm all ready to head off again if there isn't anywhere you need me to take you right now I think I might head back to Enclave of course unless you already know where we need to go from here to find these things hidden all over Tatooine."

Anven stared at the Elder for a long moment having noticed he had gone on again about needing more power though never quite said why though other than that what was running through Anven's mind was him hoping there were no more evil soul eating machines buried deep beneath Tatooine's surface. Just the thought of another one made Anven roll his eyes in utter sarcastic excitement to fight a giant machine of death and its dark offspring of darkness which of course just showed how much he enjoyed his first encounter with the depths of Tatooine.
Anven went back to checking the cycler rifle he was holding making sure it was loaded and worked well since it likely hadn't saw maintenance in a while either similar to the cannon but as the Elder had said the Tuskens did make their things last as it seemed in good condition. The whole while he was checking the rifle he was mumbling to himself his excitement to delve deeper into the forsaken depths of Tatooine just as the Elder had turned his back to him to check the cannon last time. Then as the Elder brought up that they first had to deal with their stalkers Anven again looked towards the cave entrance actually expecting to see them burst into the cave right at that moment since much time had past since he and the Elder had made their escape yet there was still no sign of them.
"For stalkers they certainly aren't doing to well."

Anven stayed silent as the Elder turned to him with a stare that he knew meant he had said something he shouldn't of even though he knew this would likely happen since telling a Tusken to basically sit and lick their wounds like a helpless animal while their was a battle to be fought wasn't something they would go for. Course a smile spread across Anven's features even though it was hidden by a cloth wrapped around the lower part of his face to protect it from sand simply because he was glad to hear that instead of the "Oh I don't know how much help I'll be" talk. Though the next part of the Elder's speech caught Anven off guard causing his smile to fade for he had no idea what the Elder had meant, there was something he needed his help with he honestly had no idea what that could be but that still wouldn't stop him from assisting the Elder in whatever he needed.
"As always it would be an honour to stand with you in the face of danger." For a moment Anven fell silent as he looked towards the cave entrance trying to judge if their pursuers were getting close or not before looking back at the Elder. "I don't suppose you could tell me what it is you need my help with that might have to do with protecting the planet since ya know that kind of sounds a bit important."

Anven held up a cycler rifle as he thought to himself of how stupid of a question that was now betting with the Elder leading to an awkward moment of silence as Anven checked out the cycler rifles looking for one he liked. Though he looked to the Elder out of the corner of his eye watching as he clenched his fist and seeing still how badly injured he was Anven already suspected he was likely still weak from the battle with the machine even before the Elder said it.
Anven watched as the Elder began to go back to his healing of his hands talking and continued talking this time bridging up again how he thought that those who were likely following them weren't himself but instead were after Anven. It was yes the most likely possibility as Anven began to realize though even still he was not worried for himself but rather the Elder's well-being for he had never seen the Old Man so weakened and injured before and its not that he thought he was a fragile old man it was just that he had literally spent days fighting off an army of Dark Beings and a machine that turned people into walking dark zombies, honestly if it were anyone else they would likely be dead.
Lowering the rifle he had been looking at Anven slid over the med-kit he had brought in with him over to the Elder not sure if he would accept the help or not but still it was all Anven could do for him at the moment. "You are probably right as always and so you need naught concern yourself with this you just concentrate on healing yourself and I will deal with our visitors when the time comes."

Anven began to wander around the cave looking through the various things that were stored within even lifting up the sand coloured tarps to see what items were hidden beneath all while he listened to what the Elder was saying. When he found the spare machine parts the Elder had spoken of Anven began to dig through them occasionally lifting up a piece that interested him and examining it more closely looking to see if it held anything useful for fixing his lightsaber.
"You are right I should know better than to question Tusken craftsmanship for I am lucky enough to have witnessed the great things they can do with what they can get their hands on." Having found a particular part that interested him Anven began to take it apart scavenging what he could from it in order to make some minor repairs to his lightsaber. "I must also admit you have quite the store of parts here and enough equipment for us to have a little fun with our visitors maybe even make a bet or two to see who can come closest to hitting them.....say about 50 to 100 credits?"
Having retrieved several parts that he was sure would need to be replaced Anven sat down on the ground crossing his legs as he took out his lightsaber and began to open it up to begin making the necessary repairs to it. Once he had it open he saw the damage wasn't as severe as he had thought it was finding only the wires being fried and minor burn damage and so he got to work replacing what seemed no longer fit to function though he would do a more thorough repairs when he got back to the Enclave. For now having done the best he could with what he had found Anven put his lightsaber back together and stood back up and this time started to look at some cycler rifles as he thought about trying some of these out too.

Anven followed the Elder into the cave frowning slightly at the Elder shaking his head to the question he had asked since it would of been nice to give their visitors a warm welcome and then send them off again in a world of pain. This all changed when the Elder revealed a very old weapon and antique by now and still it made Anven stop in his tracks as he just stared in awe at the thing eventually running up to it and just dropped what he was carrying next to it as he started to look over every inch of the cannon.
"Where did you find such an old weapon, does it even still work and I wonder of if you would be up for a little target practice ya know work out the kinks in this thing."
Anven's mind was just overflowing with questions at the sight of the cannon and he just wanted to blurt them all out in a long stream of endless questions but he soon got ahold of himself and picked up his things before standing up straight again.
"Ah well I am sure we can give our visitors a grand surprise with this thing though if you don't mind me asking were might I find spare parts for my lightsaber if this place has any and just out of curiosity what other weapons might this weapons cache hold?

Anven had continued on in the pointed out direction by the Elder coming up to the mountains quite quickly at the speeds he was travelling at and it hadn't taken him long to find this cave the Elder had poke of that should contain the weapons cache. This time around Anven slowed down at bit before stopping in order to allow the swoop to come to a gentle stop unlike the sudden stop he had the first time he then shut the thrusters down to let them cool awhile after having pushed them to their limits for some time. He then went to the back and began to dig through one of his bags pulling out a pair of electrobinoculars and a medical kit but just as he was pulling it out to his dismay he found the same small device that or a completely similar looking one. Dropping the medical kit Anven reached into the bag and pulled it off the seam and this time just stared at the small thing turning it over and over in his hand before just crushing it and stuffing the broken thing into a pocket on his belt for further examination.
With a sigh Anven picked up the medical kit once more not knowing if the Elder was even going to care to use it and just rely on the force but whatever the case may be he was bringing it anyway and so he stood there waiting for the Elder to lead the way though as he waited he spoke up to reveal his most unfortunate findings. "Just so you know I think you were right we are most likely being followed so expect visitors." Anven turned his head to look out into the distance for a moment as if he was already looking for their followers on the horizon but then slowly turned his head back to look at the Elder. This place wouldn't by any chance be equipped with traps of the kind of sorta lethal kind but definitely hurt very badly that someone could say just accidentally walk into?

As they began to move again Anven started to feel a little more at ease having found the problem that he had been contemplating since they had left the mountain though the Elder's question did bring up many more questions to Anven's though he knew naught what Ayren's little group was planning.
I don't know what their intentions are but following us is most certainly a possibility. Anven yelled over the sounds of the turbothrusts in response to the Elder's question.
Anven kept up the speeds he was going at for some time drawing ever closer towards the weapons cache the Elder had spoke of hoping he would be able to spot it easily enough though if he didn't he was sure the Elder would point it out.

Anven took hold of his lightsaber as the Elder handed it back to him over his shoulder and clipped it to his belt casually as he heard a loud boom though the sound being quite loud made Anven wince slightly though only for a moment before he recovered. He then just turned his head and looked on as he watched the spectacle before him of sand being thrown into the air and a Bantha falling over yet despite all the commotion neither of the two who had been watching them made any aggressive movements. It didn't take a genius to figure out that this whole set up was some sort of distraction to which he still didn't care about though just in case they were planning something Anven deliberately turned his head and stared right at the man who was hiding letting him know his attempts at hiding were futile.
Not to long after the explosions went off Anven felt a familiar presence emerging from the caves and as he turned his head to look he saw good old Ayren finally managing to find his way out of the tunnels which somehow Anven knew he was going to live to regret this most wondrous miracle. Then as he stared at Ayren he saw the boy salute in the direction of the man hiding which made Anven roll his eyes which were covered by the shadow his hood cast over his face because that mean these were friends of Ayren's causing all this commotion. Not wanting to spend another minute near this rag tag group of buddies Anven gripped the handles of his swoop and called back to the Elder. "Hang on, we can continue this conversation once we get clear of this area." Anven then hit the throttle giving life to the turbothrusters causing them to take off from where they were at a great speed wanting to just be far away from this place though once Ayren and his group were far out of sight Anven took a bit of a detour because he felt there was something suspicious about the supposed distraction Ayren's friends had set off and he wanted time to think on it before arriving at their destination in case it was something more devious than Ayren seemed to be capable of.
Anven raced through the Dune Sea pushing his swoop to extraordinary speeds nearly as fast as he could make the thing go exceeding the speeds of most speeders all in a attempt to gain as much distance as he could from Ayren's group showing just how much he didn't want to be near them. Though as he was racing through the dunes his mind was slightly still set on what had happened back there running through possible scenarios for what one would want a distraction for. He quickly eliminating the more unlikely reasons for the land mines such as they were clearly not EMP mines since his swoop was still working and they weren't meant to try and trap them back there or kill them since here they were not having been hindered at all. Anven thought on recalling all he remembered from the time he had came out of the cave to when he had left to try and determine the purpose of those mines. It had been clear it wasn't meant for the hidden one to surprise attack them since he had remained inactive taking no aggressive actions and even with the given time they had remained there he should of been able to have a lock on their heads or other vital areas yet no shot was fired. He knew the girl that rode in on the Bantha didn't seem to play much of an important roll since she ended up trapped beneath the Bantha or disappeared under its long hairs whatever the case was it didn't seem likely she had anything to do with it....unless.
Anven quickly hit the brakes on his swoop letting them come to a halt as fast as he could even kicking up the backend of his swoop sightly as they stopped and without as much as a single word of explanation to the Elder Anven got off the swoop and walked to the back of it. There were bags hanging on either side of his swoop for storage of useful items for when he went out and he quickly started to dig through them going through a checklist in his head making sure everything was there. Once he had confirmed nothing was taken from his swoop he checked himself counting all his weapons were on him even his datapad, the idea was simple if Ayren was a force user it could be likely he had traveled with others who were and if they were after them in some way what better way to track them or even learn about them by taking personal items and force users could easily take things secretly from a distance even from a moving target. The distraction could of easily been to take their minds off of someone allowing them to in secret take almost anything yet nothing was missing, it then dawned on Anven that not only could if have been to take their minds off of someone but it could of been something and having already checked his bags and himself he could tell nothing was planted there and so for a moment he stared at the Elder and saw nothing there.
This left only one place left to check that being the body of his swoop since it was clear nothing was wrong internally for it worked just fine but he couldn't exclude that just yet without actually going in and checking the inner workings so for now he began to walk around his swoop carefully looking over the frame for any oddities. Doing a full two circles around his swoop straining his eyes as best he could in what little light there was from the slowly rising suns though found nothing out of place along the main body or the control shaft and stabilizer bars as he came back to the backend of the swoop he crouched down checking either side and under the turbothrusters but still found nothing suspicious. Finally he came back to the side of his swoop and got down on his stomach as he searched beneath his swoop and finally he found an unusual lump there along the bottom which he reached out to and grabbed forcefully pulling on it. The strange lump came off and Anven only stared at it for a few seconds before quickly standing up assuming the worse as he threw it as far as he could away from them incase it may be some kind of remote bomb or something else less lethal yet still unwanted.
Having dealt with his unease Anven got back onto his swoop and only shared a few words with the Elder as he revved the swoop's thrusters a few times preparing them to take off. So bad news found some device on my swoop, good news it has been dealt with. Anven quickly spun his swoop around to point west and revved the thrusters a few more times as he gave the Elder fair warning. "Hold on tight who knows what might come next." Hitting the throttle once more Anven took off towards the west slowly accelerating his swoop to those extreme speeds as he hoped in the back of his head that the device wasn't some kind of comlink or worse a tracking device because the last thing he wanted was to see Ayren again.

Anven stayed silent for a little longer as he revved the engine of his swoop a few times to get the engine going properly though he could hear the toll the sand has had on it and he knew well it was due for repairs soon. Though once it was up and running smoothly and the Elder was on behind him Anven took and moment to let out a sigh and let his shoulders slump forward a bit finally showing how he was feeling about all this since the Elder seemed to wanted to know.
In truth I am quite very annoyed at the moment and that fight back there was the greatest stress reliever I had in some time. Anven took out his basically useless lightsaber at the moment and handed it over his shoulder for the Elder to see. Honestly of all my problems I now have to fix this I knew from the beginning I should of made it from more durable material but instead I had rushed right into it.
It was typical of Anven to bring up his tech problems rather than his personal ones even though raging inside of him was a battle not many could understand one between the darkness and the light and this had been going on for a long time. Every time he fought and every time he delved deep into a place filled with the darkness of the darkside he risked breaking that balance he fought so hard to keep within himself and so in truth his annoyance was likely spawned from him having just dealt with a mass amount of darkside energy down in the caves.

Anven listened to the Elder's short explanation and noticed the tightening grip on his lightsaber which made Anven assumed the history between the Elder and Jud'dayus that the Elder spoke of was not a pleasant one probably made all the more harder since they had apparently possibly been friends a long time ago. Slowly standing up after hearing the Elder say he would explain more later when they got someplace else Anven knowing well what the Elder meant and so turned to his swoop bike and got on it and started up the engine before gesturing for the Elder to take a seat behind him. As Anven waited fro the Elder he watched the man as he remembered the very bone look of his hands and the blood seeping from them staining the sand as it fell. Whatever the Elder had been doing in those caves it had certain taken its toll on him and Anven was reminding himself that he should at least try to help the Elder when they get somewhere else.

Anven sat quietly by his swoop enjoying the night's breeze as he watched the entrance of the cave from where he was for any sign of the Elder and as always the Elder appeared seemingly out of nowhere which got a chuckle out of Anven for he never knew how the Old Man did it. Though as Anven watched the Elder slowly walk towards him he noticed he was now leaning on a staff which completely contradicted the vast show of strength he had seen from the Elder today but then again looks could be deceiving. Then as the Elder spoke Anven couldn't help but have a feeling that they had this conversation before back at the Tusken Enclave when Anven had first appeared there after a long time still even though they had spoke of this before Anven spoke truthfully since he was sure the Elder had his reasons for asking.
As you well know the force is ever my guide and before coming here I had the feeling that it was about time to return and so had stopped by as part of my regular visits as time permitted bringing along with me the spoils of my adventures for the clan to make use of. Just as you had said back at the Tusken Enclave when I had first arrived my visits have been becoming ever more further apart resulting in me coming around less and less because of this I have missed much as I now see as the days go on. This is partially why I am here now I felt in some way I could make up for all that I had missed, a way of redeeming myself by coming out to look for you to assist the clan while it was in a time of need.
Anven knew it was more than what the Elder had asked for but he thought of all people he deserved an explanation for his actions today even though he was sure the Elder had already assumed as much since there was little one could hide from Elder. Still despite his reasons Anven felt no regret for coming out here not because he had in a way aided those who had become family to him but also because he had the honour of fighting along side the Elder today in epic battle. Even Anven had to admit this was probably the most fun he had in a long time never before having fought in a life or death battle like this far longer than he could remember, the very thrill of battle made him feel ever more alive.
After spilling his own heart out to the Elder Anven looked up at the Old Man and asked out right and plainly what had been on his mind since he had went out on this long search for the Elder. So if you don't mind me asking just why did you all of a sudden disappear some time after the events involving Jud'dayus?
As Anven spoke casually with the Elder he basically turned a blind eye towards those who were watching despite being aware of them being there he still cared little for their existence as they were insignificant compared to his current mission. Still he kept a part of his mind on them just in case they proved to be trouble makers who wanted to interrupt him while he was speaking with the Elder or just bother him at all really since he was currently in no mood to speak with strangers and just wanted to get back to the Tsken Enclave for some relaxation.
