Cantina

*Ellie lead the trio into the cantina. The cantina was alive with noise and commotion as the afternoon rush was in full swing. Mandalorians, both armored and unarmored, filled the room as the took a break from their work. Even with such a large crowd, people still tried to make a path for Ellie and her guests as the headed to get food.* "A little busier than I expected." *She said to Torin and Molan over the noise. Finally, she made her way to the front of the line and began to fill her plate.* "We've increased in several work projects. So this place has been seeing a lot more people lately."
*With food in hand and paid for, she made her way to an open table and sat down. Now that she had food in front of herself, she suddenly realized that she actually was hungry. Refraining from digging in to quickly, she paced herself to allow her guests to enjoy their lunch.* "I have to ask. Have you ever been to Ordo before, or is this your first time here?"

*Ellie gave a genuine smile when Torin admitted that he'd like some fresh air compared to that of his ship. She knew that feeling all to well. Standing up straight, Ellie motioned towards the door.* "We have a cantina here, and I'd be honored to join. I've been stuck in here for most the afternoon, so moving around would do me some good." *Leaving her office behind, she led the two to the cantina.*

*Ellie suppressed a small grin when Torin called her philosophy smart. She couldn't take the credit for it, since it was nothing more than a lesson she had learned and tucked away for later.* "When I have a rough idea of how many. I'll send a message with the details."
"I'll rotate the crews and ships when your engineers arrive. That way we won't be without defense's. A week will be fine, all crews will have been informed of their assigned rotations by then." *Ellie paused for a moment before turning to Torin and Molan. The meeting was winding down with its its initial purpose met.* "I'm assuming your flight was a long one? You both are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish."

*Ellie inclined her head as well.* "We'll have the shipments ready for your transports." *She gave Kargesh a quick glance before turning to the Hutt.* "He's welcome to stay. I'll have one of the guest quarters prepared for him."
*A small grin tugged at the corner of her lips when Zordo said it was good doing business with her.* "When steady supply lines are in place and the credits are transferred, then I will be more then happy to talk price. Hopefully this will bring more business for the both of us then." *She turned to walk away as Zordo began to leave on his hover chair. At the same time, she sent a message to have accommodations set up for Kargesh.* "Safe travels, Zordo the Hutt."

*Ellie gave a small laugh at Torin's comment. His words were true enough when it came to the fleets capabilities.* "Sorry, I tend to downplay the size of the fleet from time to time. Sort of a follower of the old saying, 'act weak when you are strong.' Catches a lot of my adversaries off guard."
*She moved over to the window and watched distant ships ascend and descend drom the spaceport. Her mind going over the information Torin had presented her with. Getting the star destroyer was second on her list of defenses to get up to one hundred percent. First were the upgrades which was part of the offer.* "Upgrades are priority, and the training that goes with it."*She turned to face the Aliit'alor of clan Bralor.* "The number of ships, I can't say. I have been gathering up freighters, however, and expanding some of our trade routes. The past few crusades and other exploits have drained us pretty good."

*Ellie resisted raising an eyebrow when Torin explained why he was here. She knew it wasn't uncommon for such inspections, she just didn't expect it to be now, or with so little warning. Times of war left little in the ways of wanrings, though. That was a fact she was very aware of.*
*The list of planetary defenses, while not small, wasn't up to par with most other clans. This was a fact that Ellie hated to admit as the Aliit'alor of her clan. Defending her people was something she placed near the top of her list.* "Fleet wise, we have ten Crusader class corvettes, six keldabe-class battleships, each with an attachment of fighters. Orbital defenses consist of twenty defense platforms. Ranging from long range missile batteries, to anti fighter cannons. We do have an ion cannon on the outskirts of the city." *Ellie almost hesitated for a second on the last one.* "We also have an Imperial class-II star destroyer. Unfortunately its been sitting in a dry dock before I even took office. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with it, or why no one has moved it." *She pushed the thought of the star destroyer away and moved on.* "As far as adequacy goes, we're prepared for small skirmishes and untrained assailants. A full scale invasion however, would only be slowed down for a time. We have crews and weaponry, just not enough ships. The ships themselves need upgrades, a lot of their systems are almost ten years old now."
*Ellie took a slow breath and looked between the two of them.* "And no, I haven't been neglecting clan Ordo's forces. I've been busy enough trying to build an infrastructure that can sustain our fleet. Even as we speak, a corvette and battleship are supporting an expedition fleet. We're trying to find a suitable location to start a mining facility in a nearby asteroid belt." *Truth be told, she hadn't heard back from them in a while and that had her worried. But that was information she didn't feel like deepening to her guests right now.*

*Bossan lead the duo to the office. He came to a stop just outside the door and knocked.* "Enter." *Came the muffled reply from inside the room. The door slid open and Bossan let Torin and Molan enter first.*
*Aside from the desk and chairs sitting in the center of the room. The office itself was sparse, since Ellie wasn't one for decorating. It did, however, have a few personal items sitting about. Several lightsabers and other trophies hung from the wall. A hologram of the city sat on a table in the corner. Several others items she had gathered throughout her journies were on display around the office. Ellie herself stood behind the desk, wearing the same outfit she was wearing last time she saw Torin. She inclined her head in a small bow as the two entered the room.* "Torin Bralor. Now what do I owe this unexpected visit?" *She left out the word pleasent, just incase his visit brought bad news.*

*Steady footfalls made their way towards the newly arrived fighter. Each step wasn't quick, but kept a perfect rhythm across the hanger. The footsteps paused momentarily as a loading dorid passed with a container. For a brief moment, Bossan caught a glimpse of his reflection. He was tall, if slightly bent from age, at a hands with taller then six foot. He had broad shoulders and a powerful build that had gone slightly to seed. His grey hair was tied up in a war knot and a greying beard the almost reached his collarbone. He wore dark blue beskar'gam with grey trim. At the sight of his reflection, the sixty seven year old warrior tried to straighten up completely. All the while grumbling about his age as several vertebrae cracked and popped.*
*Finally, he reached the fighter where Torin and Molan waited. Bossan placed his right hand over his chest and greeted them. "Greetings, Aliit'alor Bralor." *He spoke in a voice that had been made hoarse through years of smoke and whiskey.* "My name is Bossan. I am too escort you to our Aliit'alor's office." *Bossan motioned in the direction of the office before leading them towards it.*

*Ellie rolled her eyes at Erik and his comment. They weren't even completely on the ship yet and they already almost had a man down. She activated the lights on her helmet and made her way deeper into the derelict vessel. There was something here, she didn't need the bioscanner to tell her that. Something dark was clawing at her from the shadows. Whatever it was, she couldn't pick it up in the force.* Let's just be careful, alright? Ami's right, there's definitely something here. I can sense it though.
*The inside of the ship was just as bad as the outside. Carbon scouring and battle damage lined the halls. There was one thing Ellie didn't see.* Where are the bodies? *There were no remains anywhere. Had whoever attacked this ship taken them with them? She came to a stop when the passage way split into two. One went up towards the cockpit and common area. The second went down towards storage.* So. Do we split up? Or do we take more time and stick together?

*The long range scanners picked up the Kom'rk class fighter and transmitted the data to both orbital control and nearby ships. Twenty seconds later a Crusader class corvette and a detachment of fighters shifted their patrol to a slow intercept of the fighter. All the while, orbital control quickly received the information and confirmed it was valid. Once positively identified, the corvette returned to its normal patrol.*
Onora, this is Ordo traffic control. Please stand by as your message is delivered. *The flight control officer had barely finished speaking when he received the green light and a flight path. Without pausing, he sent the information.* Onora, your message has been recieved and you're clear to land. Follow the provided flight path to hangar. Safe flying, Onora. Orbital control, over.

*Ellie suppressed a small grin when the Hutt mentioned price. Everything had a price and Ellie knew that very well. She did, however, find it a pleasant surprise that the first shipment was on the house.* "That is most generous of you. I can have the shipments delivered to the hangars as soon as possible. Getting Ordo's economy going again will be a big step." *She pulled out her datapad and began to send some information to nearby warehouses.* "There, the shipments will be delivered to the designated landing pads upon your ships arrival. Then we can negotiate further afterbthat."
*She put the datapad away and gave a quick glance around the hangar. Her good eye then turned back to Zordo.* "Maybe things are looking up for my clan. Now all we need to do is locate a good asteroid mining location, maybe even tibanna gas. Then we'd be set for more projects. Financially secure projects, anyway."

"So things are bad, then." *Ellie said to herself when Ruubin gave the run down of the ships damage. They definitely needed help and it seemed that Ruubin had a plan. One Ellie figured was going to be risky.* If this plan is crazy or dangerous, then you have my attention.

*The sudden connection to her twin caught Ellie by surprise, enough so that she almost lost focus on what was in front of her. She didn't have time to question what happened when the sight torpedo screaming towards her ship brought her to action. Her hands moved with trained efficiency, as she diverted most of the shields to the front and activated the auto cannons. The cannons spun to life and locked on to the torpedo. Red blaster fire leaped out of the gunship to meet the incoming ordinance. With several quick busts, the cannons finally hit their target, albeit a little close for Ellie's comfort. The shields flashed from the detonation and the ship shudder, but remained unscathed.*
"So that's how we're going to play now, is it?!" *Ellie almost growled out. She brought her ship weapons only and brought the gunship to bear in the corvette. What the Gladiator lacked in speed, it more than made up for in firepower. With a firm squeeze of the trigger, the gunships main guns open fired on the corvette, peppering its shields and hull with heavy fire.*
*It was then that Ellie noticed how badly the assault ship was in. Worry began to fill Ellie as she watched the ship her twin was in begin to drift plantside.* Midnight Seven. This is Ellie Ordo of the Gladiator. I see extensive damage to your hull. How do you copy?

*Picks up smaller Ellie in her arms. Letting her bury her face into her shoulder.* Not quite ready for a rubber chicken fight yet, I guess.

*Ellie rolled her eyes at her twins comment and gave an exaggerated sigh.* Yeah, but at least I'm not boring.* *Instead of a verbal response from her sister, she recieved a barrage of mental images. Mainly just bits and pieces of people she didn't know, armed guards and a group of younglings. All this seemed to mount up to the usual odd adventures she got stuck on. Luckily her sister was here with her this time. As the images faded, she shook her head clear and flinched at the sudden change.* First off. Oww. Second, this seems like just another day to me. So...technically I've been doing Jedi saving the day stuff for a while then. *She pushed that thought aside and turned her attention back to what she saw.* Alright, who are these kids and what group has them? I've never seen them before.

*A let out a sharp breath when she felt a snap as her sister strengthened their connection. A small grin formed on her face as she almost saw, or more pictured, her twin in the ship nearby.* The assault ship. That's the one you're on. *She shifted the ships flight path to bring it parallel with the assault ship.*Yeah, I'm really here and I'm glad you're here. *She fround some when her twin asked why she was here. That was harder too answer.* They why is...complicated. At least to much so to explain right now. My question is why are you here?

*Ellie felt it now stronger than ever. What pulled at her through the force was in fact her twin. She just wasn't sure which ship though. Something else tugged at her senses, something so familiar it should have been easy to place a name to. But it didn't make sense because that feeling shouldn't be feeling that signature in the force.*
*She dragged the Gladiator out of its slumber and gave life to its engines. Her sister was here, that much was sure, as was...simething else. Ellie needed to know what and why as she began to turn the gunship towards the other vessels. First, she needed to figure out which ship her sister was on. Closing her eyes, she sank deep into the force with an absolute calm. Everything was pushed aside as her mind searched for Kaiya. Then, as if guided under its own will, the Gladiator slowly turned and leveled off facing the Bantha-class assault ship.*
*That all to familiar and nagging presence did its best to try and distract Ellie from getting a lock on her twin. Ignoring the feeling was hard do to what the feeling could mean, but it was quickly shoved aside. Ellie slowly breathed out and entered a deep calm that she only believed her master could achieve, and reached out with the force to her twin. In an instant, she felt as if she was standing next to her sister. Enough so that she could swear she almost saw her. She held the image in her mind as she tried to speak to Kaiya.* "Vod? Can you hear me? Are you really here?"
