I should add that information on the Resol'nare and Mandalorians can be found in many places, however, this is the best i could find to simply express what it is that a true Mandalorian should incorporate

Thanks for adding that Admy. I realize I haven't been around for months and have little room to interject; at least until I am able to catch up, but at the time I was forced away from the site because of RL, the state of the Mandalorians was poor. Most of what I am about to add is covered in Admy's post above, but I feel that it is needed, especially with the challenge of Mand'alor occurring atm.

*whispers to Mike* The 28th is a Sunday.
Anyways, just trying to rap my head things since I've been gone forever and a day now. As for this idea, I really like it. Been around since those early days where there was one thread to a planet and it was a given that you'd have some kind of response from someone; especially on Korriban (my first and only account for a long time was a sith so yeah i didnt really get out to the jedi/republic parts of things much in the beginning. In my opinion, yes having the long drawn out, planned/closed SLs can add a lot of development to one's character, and also an intense or exciting read, but at the same time it takes away from one of the things that initially made this site so great at the beginning; the spontaneous interaction between people who knew nothing about each other and allowed them to write in the moment about what was actually going to happen rather than write to meet an end result. Both have their pros and their cons but each serves a different need for the writers who partake.
I'd step up right now as a suitable volunteer to help to the best of my ability, if I knew I could make a reasonable return to the site, but I'm not sure I can do that as RL is very hectic for me these days; however if I am able to make it around, I will do my best to help with this in what capacity that I can

From everything I've gathered, Ash will be making it to Mandalore. And if for some reason he is not able to meet with us there, we will press on anyways. I have a feeling that this "summit" will last a few days at least. They always do because of the expedience at which everyone posts.

In a small, but brilliant flash of blue-white light, a Firespray-31 Class Patrol and Attack craft appeared in the orbit of the hub of all Mandalorian affairs, Mandalore. Piloting the craft was none other than the Mandalorian Clan Ordo's very own Aliit'alor, Cathaoir Ordo. This Mando'ade was a seasoned veteran of war, and the long time leader of the Ordo clan. Just as quickly as the craft had appeared in the planet's orbit, it began to descend into its atmosphere, its path set toward Keldabe.

A fiery ball-like object powered through the planet's atmosphere before finally breaking free and entering the vast emptiness of space. Here, gravity faintly existed, and what gravity did exist, held the Mandalorian Clan Ordo's planetary defense forces in constant orbit. Cathaoir Ordo, the Clan Ordo's Aliit'alor piloted the lone Firespray-31 Class Patrol and Attack craft that had sprung from the planet's surface in a vivid display and burning colors that even an artists had trouble mimicking in their own constellations.
The man, Cathaoir, was on a mission of the personal sort at the moment. A mission that had him heading toward the center of all Mandalorian affairs. A planet with as much history as the very name of his clan and the existence of the Mandalorian people. The planet Mandalore awaited him and once he'd cleared Orbit, the craft jumped into hyperspace.

I should be landing on Mandalore in the next couple of posts today where I'll send out the message, so be prepared for that. I'll send it out via post, but I will also send it in an IC Private Message as to not make you all have to go searching through threads just to read it.
However, Ash.....as no one really knows your current location IC atm, I'll send a message to your last known location, Kuat. Just pm it to you though as to not clutter those boards

Good to hear that you'll be there too, Rob. My condolences about your loss, though. But yeah, as I said earlier, I'll go ahead and send out the message when Cath get to the assembly area on Mandalore so that at least everyone knows about it.

Fenri, the reason I didn't put Clan Ordini in originally because do not know if a single writer from that clan is still around. I know Plu had been gone since before the crash of jvs 1.5 in 2013

I apologize if I came across rather disrespectfully, Goran, but I take my Mandalorian RP seriously and frankly with the culture the Mandalorians have had to date on JVS, an election is far beyond question. That's just something I want to clear up before we try to start firing shots back and forth at one another which is something I definitely don't want to see in an OOC context.
Also, told you I'd talk to Rob, lol. Only I guess I lied about telling you myself; he stole my thunder. It's good see that he'll still around though.
As for a convening of the Clan Aliit'alors, I will call for an Assembly on Mandalore in a post tomorrow. There we can propose the future of the Mandalorians as a whole IC. Whether we will still be a "Empire" or if we've transformed into something else. However, we won't make drastic decisions yet, especially without the Mand'alor there. We can discuss the effort to rebuild as well (I already have plans for Ordo and Adumar with my clan).
I hope that I didn't leave anyone out, but if I did, I'm sorry (feel free to yourself in).

This is when I really hate that I can't access the old site at the moment. If I could, I could easily point you all towards what had been established prior and show you all that there where an assembly on Mandalore where the Aliit'alors would and could meet with the Mand'alor.
When it comes to the selection of a Mand'alor, there is no such thing as an election. The Mandalorians carried a culture built on strength and war. In order to advance you had to challenge and prove yourself. Especially in the case of the Mand'alor, this should have been settled in a duel of some kind and with it the Mand'alor could be challenged at anytime and by any Mandalorian. I really think it's important to keep this, otherwise we can no longer consider ourselves Mandalorians. For one I know that IC if an "election" were to happen for Mand'alor, Cath would pull himself and clan Ordo out of this culture and attempt to go for a cleanse on it.
As for the current status of Ashrah, I will talk to Rob and see whats up. If he is just unwilling or won't be able to return in a capacity enough to be Mand'alor, I will pose the issue here. Otherwise, if you want there to be a new Mand'alor, you'll have to challenge him.
Again, I'm here to help in any capacity that I can.
