There was a flurry of activity as the Coalition forces touched down on the surface and started helping load of civilians and the wounded, before taking them up to the fleets above. Colonel Leonis meanwhile was waiting in the command center and looked up from a small holo map as the Coalition Major came strolling in. Recognizing her voice straight away Ah, Major welcome to the camp... So far we haven't seen any Imperial forces ground side yet, but our sensors have a somewhat limited range, so they could be beyond our reach. But I don't believe the fleets above have noted any landing craft... But I'm still just as eager to get our people out of here as fast as possible.

The Major had an aura of a hyper sports coach gearing up for a big game rather than a woman facing an impending Imperial landing force. For too many months she'd been acting as nothing but glorified security for Lynne, now she could flex her muscles and get some real fighting done. She moved over to the map and started taking in all the data.
=Merrill= Good, good, good. I've got your wounded being routed to Endless Salvation, everyone else is going to the safest and/or quickest ship. Speed is going to be key here. We don't have much to repel Imp heavy armor, so best if we get out before then. I'm going to start getting my people positioned around the perimeter. Keep me updated. Anything else?

Once their location was found, a cluster of transports, both containing Corellian Marines and medical personnel, descended upon the area where the Galactic Alliance remnant had touched down. Soon, more troops were deployed, moving to secure the perimeter and help with the wounded and injured. A commander, from Graemon's fleet, walked up to Major Merill, saluting her upon arrival.
=Coalition Commander= The Imperials have moved away, Major. We have not detected any ground forces remaining though. Baron Gorgano says that, if need be, any of the refugees are welcomed on his ships for treatment and rest. He wants to make this recovery speedy in case the Imperials come back.

Merrill seemed almost disappointed by the lack of action on the ground, but recalled her team to help finish loading up the transports. In short order all GA and Coalition forces would be off the ground and loading up onto ships.

Leon listened and nodded as Merrill gave her overview of the situation, stating where her troops would be and where the transports would be headed. Before he had a chance to respond to her question, a new Coalition officer came in and addressed Major Merrill. Leon gave a nod to the man We should have everyone loaded up and ready to leave within the next half hour with your added help. Thank you, both. With that, Leon waved them both off to continue overseeing the evacuations and getting the last of the important equipment loaded up and moved off world

The eight Z-95 Headhunters shot across the terrain at high speed, their craft barely 300 meters off the ground. Reports had come in from the garrison base that their recent shipments had not arrived on time and that they had picked up additional traffic along the set vector for its arrival.
Not far from the planet, Garuda Squadron had broke from the rest of the patrol unit in order to investigate. Within the past week, they had gotten glimpses of additional traffic in the area, though it was but a single freighter. Each time it had been the case, the traffic and their origin all coming from the same area. At first, it was nothing to be concerned about until it kept happening. Unfortunately, despite the suspicious traffic it went by without investigation. Now it appeared they had most likely been pirates sneaking their way in. A clever ruse that would soon face its consequences.
Approaching the coordinates provided, five signatures appeared on radar. Breaking off, the fighters adjusted to full throttle to catch up. It didn't take long as they came up on a group of small frieighters. Two YT-1930s, two YT-2000s, and a single YV-929 armed freighter. As they grew closer, the quad laser turrets of the 2000s unleashed their hellush barrage as missiles were launched from the aft facing launchers of the 929. Breaking formation, the Z-95s danced across the sky as they avoided the assault and returning one of their own. The pirates had come prepared with their selected craft that were capable of dealing heavy damage to starfighters. But their attempts proved ineffective against the trained pilots, so much so that they split up into five directions.
It was then there Captain issued orders.
Garuda Two on me. Garuda Four and Five, break right and pursue the YT-2000 that headed left. Garuda Seven and Eight, the 2000 straight ahead. Garuda Three, head North East and bring down the YT-1930 that headed that way. Garuda Six, the last one is yours. Good luck. Break formation! With order given, everyone broke away at once at full speed and in perfect unison. turning her ship hard right, Soraya headed off after the sole YT-1930.

The pursuit continued as Soraya attempted to vring down the YT-1930. But as with most ships used by pirates and smugglers, it had been upgraded. The shields and armor were much better, allowing it to take the fire of her laser cannons. It also kept itself moving, making it difficult to utilize her proton torpedos. It also didn't help she had to dodge the dual laser turrent on its dorsal side.
Eventually tbe open area disappeared as the craft ventured into a canyon. "Trying to lose me in there, huh? Nice try."Slamming down on the throttle the engines pushed the craft to higher speeds as they began twisting their way through the narrow ravine. At the speeds she was going, making the turns sound have been impossible, though she managed to do so and kept edging closer as her shots continued to pummel the freighter. Not once did she lise her composurevas if this was nothing to her.
Attempting all it could, the ship kept firing at both the fighter and the walls in order to slow ger down, but nothing worked. It even fired at a formation in front if them, leaving just time for the pirstes to get through and hopefully crush the Z-95. Still, nothing as she dove and spun under the debris. It wasn't long before the patn straightened out and headed for a wall, a small cavern just big enougn for them fit through in its face.
Deciding she had had enough games, pulled up and spun, firing a pair of torpedos that flew over the freighter and into the rick face, causing ut to collapse. It didn't give the crew enough tine to respond as pulled up and crashed against the top edge of the cliff, forcing them to crash and slude across the ground.
Knowing what was to happen gave Soraya enough time to turn the ship right and pull up. Circling the crash once, she reported her craft was down and was heading down to investigste after providing coordinates. With thst she landed her fighter a few meters away.

Removing her helmet, Soraya jumped down from the open cockpit and proceeded cautiously towards the down freighter, her Glie-44 Blaster Pistol primed and ready. Slowly, she approached wondering if anyone had survived or was at least conscious.
It wasn't until she was about halfway between the two ships that the first blaster bolt came her way. She ducked down and ran over to her right and fired back. Having nothing to hide behind, she knew she had to get lucky and take them down quickly and effectively, something she didn't know if she could do. But she had to or possibly die. One by one, five men popped out, giving her an actual target. One she got in the leg while another she hit his hand and blaster, putting them both out of commission. Moving side to side, she fired all she could, trying her hardest and trusting her instincts since she had little time to aim. With four down and rendered incapable of fighting back, it just left the final guy.
Having returned to the debris of the ship, Soraya was once again blind. But it was just one now and the assault had come to an end. She calmed her breathing as she moved closer and closer. Suddenly, something felt off, causing her to drop to a knee and spin just as a bolt was fired, sending it over her head. She fired back with near-instantaneous reflexes, striking his heart and killing him. Her breath was a bit heavy as she walked around inspecting the ship, then away from the rubble and back to her own. From there, she radioed in the situation and coordinates.
Ten minutes rolled by before a transport arrived to deal with the pirates and gathered up their supplies. She had already received word that the others had brought their targets down as well and were to regroup at the base. With her relief landing, she took off and headed back to base and the briefing before returning to their patrols.

The restored planet of Froz witnessed the events that brought it into the Corellian Coalition. The presence of an Imperial fleet, over the planet, brought back the stories of the planet's devastation by the Old Empire to the native Frozians. Their exports of foodstuffs and leather crafts were enough to keep the planet steady in its economy, but the planet was still relatively defenseless. The Coalition, bringing it into its fold, sponsored several defensive protects such as new battle stations in orbit, the presence of a Coalition fleet, the installation of a CC garrison, and construction of several facilities. One of which was a C-Sec Listening Outpost, located towards the Northern Pole of the planet, with an office located in Froz City. In cooperation with the local government, C-Sec worked towards ensuring both Froz and Coalition Space were alerted to any incoming Imperial traffic.
The funds, acquired by the political skill of Baron Gorgano and Senator Camalon, were enough to build the facility. These funds ensured the facility was state-of-the-art and self-sufficient. It had a garrison of CC agents and guards, a crew of skilled technicians, workers, and other necessary crew, and even areas for military training, exercise, living quarters, and a starfighter base for local squadrons. The Baron visited from time to time, but overall command was handled by Security Commandant Yersel, a native Corellian who was integrated into C-Sec from the old Corellian intelligence agency.
