Nodding in understanding, Caldwell spoke to the Rear Admiral.
"Understood, sir. Better safe than sorry, better alive than dead."
The latter half of his statement may not have been in keeping with proper Imperial Doctrine, but it was the truth. He'd rather ensure his craft was in tip top working order and succeed in his task, then wind up dead out in the cold vacuum of space. Too many of his comrades had done that already. If he could, he'd like to prevent more from doing so. Clearing his throat, he addressed the Rear Admiral again.
"Sir. With your permission, I'd like to take the squadron and go inspect our new ships before we take them out for a test flight."
Seeing a set of schematics was one thing, but actually being able to see and feel the ship was another. And Caldwell preferred the more hands on approach, as it made him more aware of the ship itself. Sitting in the hangar, it was just a machine. But when he was in the cockpit, it was an extension of himself. And he needed to get a feel for how this machine would fit him, so to speak.

Nodding in response, Kasalle granted Caldwell's wish.
"You are allowed to do so, Captain Caldwell", was her friendly response, "I will wait so far on the bridge and give the hangar controll permission for your leave. If there are any problems, you can contact me over ComLink. The channel for Banshee squadron will always be directly open to me, shouldn't interferences disturb it. Other than that I wish you a good hunt. The meeting is now closed."
With these last words, Kasalle left the room as well as the other officers. Eventually she would head for the bridge in order to do as she was told.

Nodding, Caldwell snaps off a crisp salute as Rear Admiral Kasalle departs. Glancing over at his squad mates, all of whom were still ogling the hologram of TIE Silencer, he spoke.
"Squad. Meet in the hangar for craft inspection. Skids up in thirty minutes."
As the squad acknowledged his orders, they all filed out of the room. Following them, they would make their way to the hangar bay, where the TIE Silencers were currently residing. He was excited. A new fighter to test out, and he was privileged enough to be able to be one of the few flying it. It was a good feeling.

As Caldwell and the squad left the meeting room, they would take only a few minutes through the ship before they would reach the hangar gates once more. One of the stationed Navy troopers, the so-called Imperial Navy Commandos, was present at the hangar gates, greeting the pilot squad solely with a salute before letting them pass through the gates. It was notable, that the Victory-II-cruisers under Jenia featured many of these security troops, known to serve as an elite task force upon Imperial Star Destroyers in the past. If anyone ever would dare to break into one of these, he would certainly have a hard time. Nontheless the majority of present troops still remained to be Stormtroopers, as the small Star Destroyers could also be utilized efficently for a direct planet assault.
After some time, the squad would eventually arrive at its main destination, where the TIE Silencers were hanging from the hangar's ceiling, ready to being utilized. The area around these fighters was guarded by another squad of Imperial Navy Commandos, who patrolled the bridge way, leading up to the Silencers. Although looking at first questioning with readied weapons towards the small group of pilots, a quick ComLink call seemed to have occured, as the First Order Captain, leading the squad seemingly relaxed and only moved his hand to silently show his men, that everything was in order. "Man, they're taking this whole security stuff quite serious", Lar Telko, who was the Zabrak member of the squad, joked when they passed the guard, "Reasonable though when eyeing these babies. I mean... wow..." The gaze of the squad turned now towards their fighters, which surpassed every previous image or description of them, when being inspected by close-up.
Looking designwise more like one of the Vulture-Droids from the old times of the Clone Wars, the aero-dynamic shape of the TIE Silencer, also known as the TIE/vn superiority fighter, nearly lead to the belief of it being more fragile, while quite the opposite was the case. With it's black hull and its flat design, it lurked there in the hangar bay like a predator, waiting for an animal to catch. The wings slightly reflected the hangar light while it gave nontheless the Silencer a threatening appearence due to its dark design.
Although smaller, the pilots knew from the reports that the sides of the TIE Silencer featured improved solar collector arrays, which allowed them to utilize energy absorption of a TIE in the best way possible. As most of the power cell spokes from previous TIE models were replaced by a next generation array, most of it was covered by a strong hull in order to make the Silencer more durable while enhancing the runs for trunk lines and converter coils at the same time. Instead of a regular ventral turret the most noticable change was the relocation of the heavy cannons and missiles to the wing sides of the TIE, thus granting the pilots not only superior targeting, but as well a wider field of fire. The cabin access hatch was located atop of the TIE as usual, thus being easy to access, when the TIE is located within the hangar of an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Overall it was an impressive sight.

Post by Captain Xakic Kannue on Aug 19, 2018 21:35:23 GMT -8
Captain Halder's Chief mate Xakic Kannue was quietly assessing the situation. The pileup in orbit was getting a touch tight, what with a group of group of SD's sitting now on their tail and the colossal man-made ring that circled Kuat right in front of them. With an upward nod he asked -Chief mate Kannue- "Captain Halder, would you like us to hail this fleet." The Captain answered short -Captain Halder- "Make it so! But quietly" Xakic Kannue had served Captain Halder with loyally for decades. No matter how eccentric Halder became Kannue stood at his side. After enduring years of taking part in a multitude of pointless quests Kannue finally came to accept that the cheese had slid off Captain Halder’s cracker. And to absolve himself of the shame of participation in many of the cruel actions Halder ordered Kannue had begun to plot mutiny. A tremendous amount of time was put into devising the downfall of Halder. And with all that noted, right there at that moment Kannue was finally inspired to act. Now. Hands closing on 24" crowbar that he kept under his station on the bridge he stood and casually walked over to Captain Halder. Less then 30" inches away in a clean motion Kannue swung the tool bringing it down brutally on right side of the back of Halder's head. Halder was somewhere between there and another dimension as the heavy metal crushed the back of his head. No noise left the captain's mouth, as his knees buckled and he collapsed like a sack of potatoes to the floor. Halder was all but dead from the impact of the blow. Kannue looked down casually as the blood poured from the captain's head. Nodding he turned around and quietly spoke -Kannue- "Right! Now... I am taking command effective immediately. Any care to protest?" Eyes sweeping the deck he found no takers. This was far from surprising considering the number of men already following him -Captain Kannue- "How long have we been sitting here waiting to pawn this load off? This is idiocy." Not awaiting an answer he yelled -Captain Kannue- "Pull out!" Turning back to the bow he went silent. Orders were relayed to the other vessels and in tight formation they turned, giving the fleet behind wide berth, the ships moved towards the nearest hyperspace exit. Hand caressing chin in Captain Kannue bellowed as afterthought -Captain Kannue- "And do I really need ask for someone to clean this mess up!?!" Living bodies leapt to clean up the dead corpse. It was neatly stuffed into a black cadaver pouch, which was then zipped up and four men began carrying it away. The blood and grey cells were mopped away and life went on. Following those now carrying Halder's body Kannue turned his head yelling -Captain Kannue- "Tombstone! You have the bridge!" And he was gone. Monic Tombstone, a tough young crew-member with a few years under her belt took charge -Tombstone- "As ordered!" The ships made the jump into the wild unknown

During the fighter demonstration for the Rear Admiral Kasalle, a recent development had reached the omnipresent ears of the Imperial Security Bureau. Word of a spy amongst her ranks. A spy in general was considered to be a very high-level threat by the Bureau, but in this situation, it was even worse. For the Rear Admiral had recently recieved a shipment of the highly experimental prototype fighter, the TIE/vn Silencer. And it was of the utmost importance that the project remained a secret. And so, Actinf Director Merrik had dispatched The Sigil, a highly skilled operative recently promoted to Colonel, and given him Carte Blanche in order to catch the spy. The Prydwen, a recently minted Resurgent-Class Battlecruiser, entrusted to the command of the Chiss, jumped into the system and slowly, and ominously, made its way towards Jenia’s fleet, the dark grey color of it contrasting against the Star Destroyer grey of the other Imperial vessels. As it approached, a J-Type Star Skiff exited one of the side hangars, followed shortly by two TIE Defender Elites. The sun, just peaking behind the world ofKuat, glinted off the chromium lustre of the ship as it approached the Victory II Star Destroyer. As they did, the copilot got on the line with the Victory II. This is Star Skiff Inquisition, carrying ISB Colonel Sigil. We are coming aboard, inform the highest ranking officer on board that the Colonel wishes to speak with them. Let us be clear that nobody outside the commanding officer, yourself, and anyone else the Colonel deems it necessary, is to know about his arrival. As the silvery starship entered the hangar of the Star Destroyer, the two TIE Defenders orbited the station. Aboard the shuttle were six terror troopers, two Death Troopers, HK-51 Zek, and the colonel himself. Once the ship settled down in the hangar, Colonel Sigil and the two Death troopers disembarked and stood by in the hangar for an officer to fetch them. The silver ship drew some attention, but the well trained soldiers, who knew better than to question a man who was clearly of some importance, paid it no mind as the continued with their duties.

The response towards the approaching shuttle was made quickly and with the usual routine, most officers were used from their counterparts upon the Imperial ships. :: 'Banshee' reporting, the Rear Admiral has given permission for your shuttle to land. She is already on the way.:: As the shuttle entered the hangar, some of the patrolling troopers took notice of it, especially when the Death troopers embarked from it with another man, who was apparently an important Chiss officer. Nontheless the troopers didn't interfere with the odd group, as they were obviously Imperials and neither got orders from sides of the harbour command to do otherwise.
Eventually around ten minutes, Rear Admiral Jenia Kasalle approached the visitors, being flanked by two trusted men of her own personal Nova-trooper-squad. With a friendly nod, she told the ISB officer and his men to follow, as she intended them to lead them to a safe room for private talk. Eventually such a conference room was found quickly, as it was already prepared for meetings of similiar kind. On Jenia's brief order the two Nova-troopers quickly checked the room for any kind of obvious spyware installed, thus making them wait even more before they deemed the room safe enough. Once these details were clarified, Kasalle ordered the two to guard the room outside, before she was alone with Colonel Sigil.
"Welcome aboard, Colonel", she then remarked friendly, "We're now safe to talk, although safety is a word in which I don't necessarily trust. Nontheless, I hope that I can be of help for you and the Imperial Security Bureau." To some point she was nervous whether the ISB agent came for her or for someone on board, as the risk of betrayal and espionage was always a present problem within the Imperial Navy - nontheless she was so far confident, that the officer came most likely because of the events which occured most recently on Rendili.

Sigil could read the nervous expression right off her face; Chis had an exceptional talent for reading people’s emotions, due to the infrared capabilities of their eyes. And her worrying was justified, as generally speaking, it was widely accepted amongst the Imperial Army and Navy that a surprise visit from the Imperial Security Bureau was never for anything good. They were the ones who were always watching, waiting, looking for any sign of defection. They were almost an omniscient and omnipresent organisation, as it would seem to most that they seemed to know exactly what was going on at all times. No individual escaped their eyes. He began speaking in a flat, calm voice, that would give most men chills. Such was the air all Chiss carried. “Thank you, Admiral, although I’m afraid my visit is not for the purpose of your recent encounter over Rendili. However, once this operation is completed, I have been instructed to assist you with the hunt for the corvette Equinox.” That small piece of information, about the name of the ship, was a small bit of information that Sigil had purposely let out in order to entice Jenia’s full cooperation, in return for the full details of that ship and her crew. Truth be told, even the rear admiral herself was not above suspicion, but by the Bureau’s analysts, she was a loyal and competent admiral. Perhaps a recommendation for promotion would be in order if this operation was a success. “The Bureau has reason to suspect that there is a traitor amongst your ranks, who is feeding information to the Galactic Alliance. It is imperative that the secrecy of the Silencer Project is maintained. Which is why I am here.”

Kasalle kinda knew that it would happen, but she wasn't expecting the consequence for the ISB drawn from the recent events. A traitor, on board of the Banshee? Impossible! Yet she remained so far unmoved although few muscles within her face had already shown her surprise towards the Chiss. After all she didn't want to appear weak, especially not in front of an ISB agent. "I presume the spy you are searching for has no connections with the events on Rendili, as the Banshee was stationed on Kuat until I recently returned with the Wisp from Rendili", she made clear, in hopes that she was right, "As regarding espionage I presume that the Bureau has evidence for this assumption, thus I will help you as much as I can. Treason within the ranks of the First Order would ashame me as much as anyone else, who loyally serves the Empire - thus I can provide you access to our data logs if you demand so." As if I have any other chance to deny it, she secretly thought to herself.

Sigil nearly let out a low chuckle. Clearly Admiral Jenia was scared. A lesser agent may not have noticed it, but his intuition, combined with his infared sense, told him, with a degree of accuracy, that Jenia was, in fact, worried for the safety of her career. A master in profiling, he could tell by the minute shifts of muscle on an individual’s face exactly what they were feeling. Though, in her case, he would excuse this, as the Chiss commanded a degree of awe and fear due to the actions of Mitth’raw’nuruodo. He looked Jenia straight in the eyes, his lips thin, arms behind his back, and his eyes a carmine color. Those were eyes that could split a soul wide open. Studying each facet of her face for any sort of reaction to him. It was finer points like this that distinguished the good investigators from the great. “You needn’t worry... your service to the empire is not being called into doubt... at least not yet.” This wasn’t the whole truth, but it would serve as a good way to set her even a little easier, and yet make her fear for the future. The ISB was a nightmare for all enemies of the First Order. “I will require your logs, as well as a roster of all your crewmen. I would also like to personally inspect the barracks and communications center. I will begin my investigation from here and work to catch our spy.”

The Rear Admiral solely nodded in response being so far hoping, that the Colonel would do his job right. Given his impression she had no doubts in him being expierienced enough to master the situation. Jenia knew that most members of the Chiss species, including the most famous Grand Admiral Thrawn, were capable to analyze certain situations better than the human mind, even though the pure thought of this would be seen as treason by a lot of Imperials today, who still believe in the old structures of the Empire. In terms of Emperor Nicademus most recent politics, Jenia was one among few Rear Admirals, who probably welcomed the tolerance with which the First Order treated the Chiss and other non-human species - hence why she even chose one of the Silencer-pilots to be a Chiss who served within the Imperial military as a pilot, as his skills mattered to her in the end more than his origins.
Thus she remained calm, as Sigil requested the logs. "I will grant you access immidiately, as it will be a long list, Colonel - nearly 8,000 crewmembers aren't an easy number and that's just the Banshee alone!", Jenia said with a weak smile while she looked from the conference table up to a data console in reach, "The crewmen's list is available from here, as I don't think that I need to explain the password system of a Victory II- Star Destroyer database, since most informations are linked directly to the bridge and are saved multiple times in order to keep the system clean from manipulation. I will nontheless wait here, as there might be some passwords, which require the captain's presence. Captain Thax is on the bridge in order to maintain the flight plan in my absence. If things should take an unexpected turn like back at Rendili, although it is unlikely, I'm still prepared. After all these are my crewmen and when one of them turns out to be a traitor it is currently my most important task to support you as best as possible to find him. And deliver Imperial justice."
Even though she cared for most of their men, Jenia was stern about her last statement. In the end the Colonel could threaten her as much as she wanted, as she knew she would fear him and the ISB eternally. This was always part of her job. But she was aware, that this individuum, whether it existed or not must be found. If the risk of a spy on board of the Banshee was real, it endangered not only the entire ship, but the fleet as well. Sacrifices had to be made, even if Jenia wouldn't like it. Yet she hoped for the best outcome, while she overwrote the console of the computer in order to grant Sigil full access upon the data bases of the Banshee.

Sigil nodded before turning to Jenia. He knew that she had the lowest likelyhood of anyone on board of being a traitor. She had, in fact, recently been promoted, and seemed to bit of a rising star in the Imperial Navy. Such people generally never committed treasonous acts. No, her dossier showed that she wasn't a massive conformist, and it was such conformists who usually began doubting the Empire, and would adapt to conceal themselves amongst the soldiers. He ruled out all men in the communications department, as they were too obvious a candidate for infiltration. In this day and age, with all of the computerised systems, gaining access to information was easier than actually transmitting it. He was looking for someone who could access the communications without arousing suspicion, and yet wouldn't arise suspicion. He turned to Jenia. "I do believe that if you assist me directly, this investigation will proceed much quicker. You know your crew better than I do. Tell me, is there anyone who troubles you?"

Probably to her own surprise, Jenia had to smile shortly, while mustering the Colonel more than amused. "This wouldn't really shorten up the list as any crew member troubles me from time to time", she remarked while looking through the list, "But given that you're searching for obvious trouble makers, I will try to think about it... there would be for example Captain Harris Wendel from the Wisp, who recently angered me by his ambitions to impress me on the Vindicator cruiser he commands - given though that he was able to learn first hand during the chase of the Equinox what I expect from my men, he eventually realised his errors though and corrected his mistakes. Apart from that I doubt that he's the spy you're looking for as Wendel doesn't know about the Silencers yet. I recently arrived with him at Kuat when the new elite pilots were sent by the Academy." And ISB probably had already everything under controll at the Academy if they began or continiued here with their search, she presumed in thoughts. While talking she looked through the data herself, musing sometimes whether she remembered the names or not, as knowing each crew member was nearly impossible on this ship. "There was few days ago an AT-AT test on board, because there was a problem with one of the legs - mechanics fixed it though and there was no sign of manipulation", she mused loud, so far hoping that the ISB agent would see more than her, "Fight in the cantina between two officers, because they lacked discipline last week - both were suspended and sent back to Kuat, while their replacements arrived yesterday... Lietnant Gil Tosko wished to speak me three days ago because some of the officers threatened him recently due to his Nautolan heritage - said officers will eventually get moved to the Revenant while Captain Thax did the mediation with this officer... Here are in general notes regarding the other three non-human crew members, where I still ponder about a solution for future problems on board... Repairing of one malfunct turbo laser tower nearly ended in the death of an engineer... Captain Thax reported to me, that Ensign Meldred works on the bridge with a lazy attitude, so we exchanged him with Ensign Hanson from the harbour controll... Navy Commandos spotted a defect droid in corridor B-48 while taking care of the problem with the help of an engineer..."
The list would eventually go on, as the Rear Admiral focused hardly on any minor activity, which could somehow lead to espionage. Her own problem became quite obvious, as she realized that out of all the reports being made to her, Jenia hardly saw any treason in any of them. In fact, the more she thought about, the more paranoid she became. What if the AT-AT was malfunctioning on purpose? What if the fight in the cantina was linked with the Silencer project - were even the new replacements trustworthy? Gil Tosko was along with two of the Silencer pilots a member of a race, you would usually expect to serve within the Galactic Alliance, as the Imperial Remnant's old doctrines wouldn't die out that fast - was one of them a traitor, even though Jenia had personally moved all non-human crewmembers to the Banshee in order to avoid future hostilities towards them, as she and Captain Thax would always keep an eye on them? Was the accident at the turbo laser tower sabotage from one of the crew members? Could they trust in Meldred not having provoked the authorities on purpose, so he would have been moved to a better location on the ship, were he could operate better as a spy? Had the defect droid to do with anything...
The more Jenia thought about it, the more frustrated she became about the situation and wondered secretly how the ISB agent must feel like. After some time though she waved these thoughts aside, as they neither helped her nor the investigation. In the end the Colonel would find the answer as he had probably a better understanding as a neutral person from outside, which of these reported incidents seemed off, compared to how things were normally handled upon an Imperial Star Destroyer. Thus, Jenia was to some portion thankful that an ISB officer was present to help her out. Outmaneuvering enemy ships in order to strengthen the position of the own fleet was one thing she could do, predicting potential moves of her enemies, based on knowledge they had of them and based on the weaknesses of the own fleet, was also one of the more simpler tasks for her. Finding a mole though wasn't her terrain - she felt like a shark, being forced to swim in an aquarium, no matter how hard she tried.

A smile played across the edges of Sigil’s face. This Admiral did not know the finer details of investingatinf for a spy, though he couldn’t hold it against her. She was not a part of the Bureau. She was a part of the navy, and she was relatively skilled at that. Of these incidents, none drew his interest. They were all to recent to have convinced someone to go over to the other side. And alien mebers of the First Order were often zealous in proving that they were worth just as much as their human compatriots. No, this traitor was much smarter than to get involved in petty drama for the sake of exposing his cover. Glancing around the room, he shut off the security recording devices. Sigil didn’t want this bit to be heard by anyone. “No Admiral... is there anyone that seems too perfect to you?” The red glow of the computer screen silhouetted him, making him look even more imposing than he usuallyy did.

Wondering about this question, Jenia thought about it for a long time, before she responded. "Apart from my most trusted captains, I don't think so", the Rear Admiral reported after a while, "Captain Paxter Thorne was always a good friend from times, when I was captain of the Interdictor Star Destroyer Fandango, as the Imperial Navy usually sends out most Interdictor vessels in pairs for various reasons", she spoke out loud, before continiueing, "And Captain Naya Thax was not only one of my eldest lietnants, who served under my command back then, but also a friend from the Academy. Her parents serve the Empire as well as mine, as we both are from Prakith." She tried to think harder, as the thought of betrayal from her most trusted advisors seemed more than unlikely. Thorne and Thax were chosen to accompany her to the new fleet before Kasalle was trusted with the TIE Silencer-taskforce. Unless they had unnatural abilities it would be a miracle if those two ever worked in all these years so silently for the Galactic Alliance, just in order to betray her when an unannounced project arrived at her doorstep... She waved aside any potential thoughts of betrayal from those two. No, she couldn't imagine that! There must be other candidates, who aren't as obvious as she would think. "Next we have our Silencer pilots and the Nova Troopers, I recently requested", she then continiued, "All of them were chosen merely because of their skills, while I handed over the command of the Banshee-squad to Nathan Caldwell, as he was according to the Academy the best pilot of the squad and mostly recommended as a figurehead to whom the other pilots could look up. I have always a private communication channel open to him, when I send his squad out. The Nova Troopers are of course as most Nova Troopers expierienced veterans from previous battles, the First Order fought - basically the best of the best. I went here with the recommendation of Colonel Asmus, who was assigned as our ground army leader. I need to trust them, as they're my personal bodyguard - four of them currently remain on the bridge, the other two you have already seen." Again she continiued, as these individuals could potentially be each a sleeper agent, although they yet would have shown more ambition than most of her officers, given that they either were the best cadets, the Academy could offer or that they were battle-hardened veterans. "As for officers, I'll probably shorten this by filtering those, where I don't have any notes at all or never stood out from the rest", Jenia then concluded while running the search, "So let's see... that would already shrink the list down to 64 crewmembers, which have barely any records about them other than their previous career. 28 of them were recently assigned, the rest comes from other Imperial ships like the Retribution, the Vendetta and others." She quickly looked up the few crew members from the Retribution, as there was a brief note, which merely stated "Naboo incident". Oh right, there was this shameful bit of stench as well.
The Rear Admiral scrolled through the other candidates as well, while reading through the different officers, engineers and soldiers, which were listed there. It was unlikely that their superiors missed updateing their log entries, so they were either very quiet and efficent when it came to their work or newly assigned during the last weeks.

Sigil nodded his head, carefully analyzing this small list. A few names drew his attention, but none of the service records really showed any signs of defection. This Captain Paxter Thorne was interesting. He suspected a high ranking officer was responsible for this. Often times, people would refuse to see that they were being deceived due to the fact that they personally knew the person who was doing the deception. He would have to keep tabs on him. A few of the officers seemed to have rather suspicious service records, and he would start his investigation there. "Excellent Admiral Kasalle. I will begin my investigation. If anything happens while I am here, be sure to notify me."

Pleased to hear this, the Rear Admiral revealed a weak smile.
"Then so it shall be", she replied friendly before she made her leave, "If there is anything where I can be of help, feel free to communicate with me, Colonel. On the table is a holo projector and the room can be locked up from the inside like most conference rooms if you need to. Although I doubt that this would be required. I'll leave the two guards outside in order to ensure that noone enters the room by accident or begins to question your guard's presence on board. Other than that I wish you a good hunt." And with these last words she left the room, being thus far confident, that the Colonel would do the reputation of Intel justice.
----- Hangar of the Banshee, 10 minutes after Sigil's arrival -----
Being so far more than curious, Senior Commander Harrol Landa eyed the shuttle, which had arrived earlier at the opposite end of the Hangar with curiousity while making his notes on a datapad. Along with several other officers, he was stationed at the Harbour Command, which had so far access to the Victory-II's hangar gates, inside and outside. Due to the duality of the hangars upon Imperial Star Destroyers, he and his men were stationed in Block B, while on the opposite side was Block A overlooking so far the scene. A dual system within the Imperial navy which so far fullfilled its purpose as it made it easier to transfer cargo and vehicles on board of a 900 meter long Star Destroyer. With most TIEs hanging atop the ceiling it wasn't as imposing as the view over the hangars of larger Star Destroyers, yet it nontheless was quite impressive. ::Requesting a transfer of 4 AT-ST's on Hangar section F::, he heard one of the board engineers speak through his comlink, thus breaking the monotonie of his job. "Transfer granted, Ensign Meldred is already on the job", the bald man answered while looking over to said Ensign,"AT-ST's on section F, Meldred. Lift them up to hangar level." "Aye Sir."
With a brief look the middle aged man, who was recently moved from the Vendetta towards the Banshee, noticed that so far the AT-STs were lifted up as they were intended, before the Imperial officers inside began to test them within a safe area in order to ensure that there were no technical errors. Landa sighed. Since the routine check on the AT-AT had shown malfunctions, the Rear Admiral had insisted on testing each craft on board in order to ensure its functuality. Of course he understood why she went that far - any capable commander within the First Order would ensure that there was no sabotage ongoing before he was assigned for a new task. Nontheless it was tiresome to watch.
Thus Landa rather wondered who had visited the Banshee as the landed shuttle was more than unusual as a choice for Imperial officers or other visitors. He was certain that the visitor was an Imperial, as he had spotted some Dark Troopers and an officer, leaving the shuttle while being escorted by the Rear Admiral herself. J-Type Star Skiff - the Republic of old days utilized some of these. An unannounced guest wasn't something Landa was used to spot daily. Yet he had not a good feeling about it for certain. Without thinking further about it though, he looked away while going back to his coffee break. It was already about time.
----- Bridge of the Banshee -----
As Jenia arrived on the Command Bridge of her flagship, she briefly nodded towards Captain Thax, who gladly recognized that her shift on the bridge was over for the moment. With her tall figure and the medium-length hair in the shape of a bob hairstyle, the dark-skinned officer from Prakith saluted Jenia Kasalle before going over immidiately to a straight report. "Situation is calm as usual captain - apart from regular ships having entered and left the orbit of Kuat nothing has happened so far", Captain Naya spoke loud in a neutral voice, "And I haven't seen our visitor's shuttle leave, so I assume they're still on board?" "He took his quarters so far, as he and his men might remain here for a longer visit", Kasalle answered friendly, trying to relax so far as much as she could, "Any news regarding the Turbolaser accident?" "It was reported to me that the engineer is recovering quickly, so he will be on his regular shift tomorrow with some luck", Thax responded confident, "In the meantime the tower was repaired and is now ready for combat - depending on the flight plan we should test it out on the next asteroid field we pass. There might be some on the route to Bilbringi." "That's by certain good news, Captain", Jenia replied while she went along the bridge with her subordinate, "And the situation regarding Lieutenant Tosko?" The silence which followed along with the nervous look of Naya spoke for itself. "Things aren't going well for him at the systems controll. I have watched him on three days previously and he is definitly doing a good job, while so far these days were quite calm and without any incident - yet it appears, his crewmates continiued with blaming him on the job, while the superiors tell me, that nothing out of the ordinary behavior had happened. We talked just five minutes ago as he reported to me the current status of the engines." "So what would you propose, Captain?", Jenia inquired cold, although she didn't mean it that way - in fact she wanted to judge as neutral as possible within this special situation, given that it was one major burden that she would always have to carry. "Moving him to another section might solve the problem, Rear Admiral", Thax proposed carefully, before lowering her voice, "It seems that we can reduce the risk of him getting shamed for his Nautolan heritage by our presence, Jenia. I know for certain that you won't like the idea, as it would seem that we're beginning to choose favorites among our crew members - yet, for his protection and his career it seems necessary. If this harassment continiues, we will have to begin degrading people on this section. And it will be either him or those, with whom he works." The long pause following showed that the Rear Admiral was indeed having her problems with this solution - especially now in light of the ISB officer on board, who was doing his researches for a potential spy in the meantime. "I will consider it, Naya, as I trust you", she then said after a while, "For now though, let's focus on our work here. I still have to prepare the report regarding the pirate hunt, which ended for us at Duro." "Very well, Rear Admiral."

Sigil had inspected the areas he wanted to. Now it was time for him to truly begin his investigation. He knew every detail was critical to the case, and so had taken detailed photographic records of the rooms he investigated. For example, one All Terrain Scout Walker was missing a small component in the base of the walker that could help with stabilisation. This, however, was to be expected, as that particular walker was undergoing maintainance. Making his way down to the hangar, he began to casually observe from behind a one-way glass. He wanted to observe the patters in each man in this room, as they went about their daily routine. Looking for any patterns. Today was clearly an inspection day, brought about in no small part due to his arrival aboard. He noticed an officer standing in the hangar, looking at his shuttle with a degree of suspicion. He would have to take a note of that. As the day progressed, he continued his observations.

As Sigil continiued the hangar investigation, everything seemed to be normal for most of the day, as here and there some Stormtroopers and officers seem to inspect the foreign shuttle as well for a brief time, before they would eventually continiue their work as usual. By inspecting the hangar of the Banshee, the Chiss eventually noted that the majority of Imperial Navy Commando Troopers was stationed within the hangar, compared to regular Stormtroopers, which probably seemed logical from the tactical sight of thought. These Stormtroopers were armed perfectly for hostile confrontations on board of an Imperial Star Destroyer, thus making it logical that most of them would be stationed near the hangar on their patrols.
Eventually later on, another major officer in the form of Colonel Manfred Asmus would eventually appear later on, as he talked with the engineers regarding the AT-ST test they previously did. Being an expierienced veteran the Colonel within his mid-fifties was wearing his blonde, bushy mustache with pride, while his short-trimmed hair pretty much revealed that like most Imperials he was a soldier at heart, as he continiued to listen towards the reports of the testing engineers. From what could be heard by Sigil, the test was so far a success as none of the scout walkers seemed to be defect. Pleased to hear about the results, Asmus advised the men to continiue the tests later on with the Infantry Support Plattforms, a type of repulsorcraft commonly known as a swamp speeder, before making his way out, only to stumble into a pilot, who apparently came from his break from the cantina. While the accident wasn't major, the elder man gave the TIE pilot a sharp lecture before he let him pass, seemingly eye rolling.
Being so far quite obvious to watch, the TIE pilot made his way closer to where the other TIE fighters were located. Along with the Silencers there were 16 TIE/sf stationed on board of the Banshee while the rest was mere shuttles. Although it wasn't unusual for the pilots being dressed up as they usually were, it probably came to the notion of the Chiss, that the pilot wasn't heading for one of the superiority fighters. In fact he was heading straight towards one of the Silencers as fast as possible, entering already the lower bridge leading up to them. Although the TIEs were guarded, it was nontheless worth to note that the Navy Troopers hadn't spotted the pilot below them, as they probably were more focused on overlooking the hangar while guarding their position.

The Sigil, standing watch from his overlook, noticed the man, and immedeately took action. Getting on comms with the Navy troopers, he alerted them to the Colonel's presence. He knew that nothing would probably come of it, but he was still treading lightly. There was no need for unessecary risks. If the man turned out to be a danger, he alerted the Terror Troopers aboard his shuttle to be ready. At the same time, he had one finger on the emergency release, which would blow out the tinted glass with one press of the green button. He was fully prepared to leap into battle at a moment's notice, though he would prefer not to. While this situation was unfolding, he noticed the fact that one of the cells aboard the vessel was being opened. He kept careful watch on the unfolding situation as he monitored communications channels. As he did, he waved for his Death Troopers to be ready in case of an emergency.
