The Sith academy of Iridonia was established by the Brotherhood of Darkness near the end of the New Sith Wars. They used it to train Sith adepts and acolytes. Trainees here were apprenticed to Sith Masters. The skills learned here equipped adepts with abilities on par with Jedi Knights. These warriors made up the bulk of the Brotherhood's armies.

It's certainly been a while, Angel thought as he descended slowly to the ground in a dignified Force-glide.
Angel walks in to the Academy and its deadpan look, from the colours of the design to the colours of the inhabitants.
This place is in need of some serious renovation. How can Iridonia become the kingdom it is with its trainees in such monotonous state? The Brotherhood would not be pleased with the current conidition if they existed in this time. No, it needs restoration to its former glory.
Angel has prophetic eyes enough to see the potential of what looks mundane; he wants the place back to its running order back when he was Battlemaster. Iridonia was happening when Count Kamy was in charge; he had entered catatonic meditation to tap into Chaos, and Angel had led the planet in his stead. The Academy was the place to be when he was Battlemaster; Angel had done the same; only he had awakened, and Kamy was still in his deep trance. Where had his bestowed successor gone? Did the dimensions shift reality itself when Universe 2.0 translated away into this?
Well, time to start.
Angel notices several entire cohort of eager Iridonian Zabraks waiting impatiently nearby. Obviously, the inductors haven't been doing their job. "Pretty soon", Angel thought, "I'll need new staff entirely for all the disappointments this current staffload consists of." He wondered if any of the old Sith he worked with back in the glory days were still around. He taps into the Force to amplify his voice in order to get their attention.
So you want to be a part of the Academy. Very well. Since you are all Iridonian, you are automatically accepted in. Remember your rules:
1) I am the Sith'ari of this planet, and my authority is final. 2) Your new Blademaster is on his way. He is your secondary authority, and his word is final. 3) Your instructors and Masters are your tertiary authority and their words are final. 4) Conflicts are to be dealt with in the Training Arenas. Every conflict outside of it faces my wrath on both sides. 5) Any conflicts outside the Academy are your problem, unless it directly affects the Academy. In that case, you will report to me or your Battlemaster, and he or I will deal with it.
There are more, but those are the main ones. Any further rules will be elaborated in your modules. Any questions?
One of the elder boys, an arrogant Zabrak, smirked and sarcastically spoke out:
Yeah, white-hair. What are the rules?
The words had barely articulated out when without hesitation, Angel hoisted the adolescent in the air with the Force and electrocuted him with Force lightning using the same hand in full view of everyone. A flicker of that hand sent his crackling corpse hurtling across the foyer to smash unceremoniously against the rock pillar. Courtyard ICs began signalling fatality staff to dispose of the body.
Another thing. Never, and I repeat never test my mercy.
Angel's voice lightened to his regular rich baritone.
Now, if there are no more stupid questions, your dormitories are in the left wing. They are ready and your training may begin.
Without waiting to see what the students will do, Angel walks out to the courtyard, crouches, and shoots twenty metres straight into the air, propelled by Force flight. He moves in the direction of the capital Malidris, only several kilometres away.

Romulus and Serina walked into the hall. Romulus could still sense the presence of Angel, but...
DAMMIT, just missed him. Serina, return to my ship. Wait for me there.
Serina nodded, and left. Romulus gathered up force energy in his feet, and in the direction of Angel, he blasted himself off the ground and up into the sky.

The turbolaser was being retrofitted into the highest spire of the Sith Academy. Construction to place it, part-by-part, was at 25% completion.

Completion was at 65%. The crews working on it redoubled their efforts under Mentis and Requiem's watchful eye in Angel's absence. The turbolaser was beginning to take shape, albeit in rudimentary skeleton form.

Completion at 100% completion. The fleets up above had used grav-well generators to position some large debris-infused asteroids for testing purpose of the new emplacement. They were on average a kilometre in length.
Have we got bogeys in orbit within range and targeted?
Affirmative.
Batteries primed, sir.
Proceed.
The eight stabiliser legs dug in to the canyon around the Academy to support it as the weapons fired up and the reactor core heated up. Rotation gears swiveled to the sensor's detected vectorial asteroid coordinates. A loud rumble could be heard throughout the Academy as the turbolasers attained maximum firepower and launched a brilliant flare of amber that rocketed into the sky and hammered al the debris off the biggest asteroid. Ten seconds later, the second shot destroyed that asteroid. Ten seconds after and the weapon destroyed the cluster of smaller asteroids. Ten seconds after that and the next bolt took out the rest of the scattered asteroid cluster. Ten seconds later and the Star Destroyer above radioed down as their deflector shields fizzed light blue and the ship swayed under the impact of the powerful shot.
Stop firing! We're getting hit!
Back down, the firing coils stopped glowing as the weapon stopped firing. The fifty or so operators had deactivated the main charges and coolant began flooding the superheated reactor core. It's proto-test was a success.

Lord Angel's personal apprentices, now Sith Masters with apprentices in their own right, strolled along the corridors in pairs, supervising the ongoings of the Academy as it grew in success.
One is a Sith Marauder, named Decstalix. He is the primary saber instructor for the Academy, second in skill probably only to Romulus. Specialising in dual blades and a hybrid of almost every fighting style, he is traditionally a silent killer, but could deal insane amounts of heavy damage rapidly if needed. He is a furious, ferocious, fear-filling fighter.
Another is a Sith Juggernaut, Coruscus. The complete opposite of Decstalix. If Decstalix was the pick to the lock, Coruscus simply mowed the door down. He is a hulking brute that literally threw his weigh around, using his physical strength as an advantage. He is commonly seen wielding a rare crystal-fractallating triple-phased saber that extended to thrice the length. He also has quite the brain to match his brawn, using the Force to telepathically play with his opponents and instill paranoia verging upon insanity. Of course, he did allow them to go insane too. He makes an excellent disciplinary master and teaches on combat techniques that transcend saber and Force.
The lean, tall Sith Sorcerer is named Mentis. He often never walked; preferring to levitate several inches off the ground when stationary and hovered around as travel; flying becoming second nature to him. He is deadly in the mystic arts; rarely did he wield a blade, for his trademark is using the Force with the environment as his weapon. He is the premiere active Force teacher in Angel's absence, preferring strategy and excellent counter-defence. As he enjoys the sensation of flying, he is also the best pilot among Academy alumni and students alike.
The Sith Alchemist Requiem just might be the most mysterious of them all. He instructs in advanced Force techniques and takes after Angel's penchant for experimentation. He is the main Sith studies professor and the resident scientist of the Academy in Angel's absence. He wields a crossguard lightsaber, and few know, and fewer still see, his trademark cane is actually a sabercane in disguise.

Above the Academy. Victory II-Class Star Destroyer: Dead Space.
Grand Admiral Bennette sat on the bridge of the Dead Space, observing the plans for taking the Academy. With the ship in position, she was free to begin landing the appropriate forces on the ground outside the Academy, far enough away to not become targets before Lady Novax and Agent Witwer arrived. They were to be the first ones through the main doors. Followed by Colonel Locklear and Zhaboka Company. After that, ground teams would be delegated to securing the Academy. But until Lady Novax and Witwer arrived, she was merely to hold position. It meant waiting and monitoring the Academy, but it was part of her duty. And she would fulfill it to the best of her ability.

Above the Academy. Victory II-Class Star Destroyer: Dead Space.
The Dead Space hung above the Academy, readying its forces to move on the Academy and claim if in the name of the First Order and the newly appointed Sith'ari. As Grand Admiral Bennette oversaw all operations, the ground teams were being deployed...
Outside the Academy.
Colonel Locklear, leader of Zhaboka Company, stood ready to lead the company of Shadowtroopers into the Academy. Lord Savage had requested last minute that Lady Novax and Agent Witwer were leading the campaign. Despite wanting to prove to the new Sith'ari, Locklear new better than to question orders. He would wait until they arrived. As he waited, the Dead Space had dropped its contingent of Storm Commandos to assist in taking the Academy. Major Kelborn, a former Sergeant with the 105th Hard Drop Division during the days of the Triumvirate, was in charge of them. He approached Locklear as they waited.
Colonel. It's been a while. I hear we are waiting for more official support?
Beneath his helmet, Locklear snorted in disgust. But he inclined his head slightly.
You heard correctly, Major. Lady Novax and a newly acquired...pet of Lord Savage's will be leading this campaign. As much as I will enjoy working along side Lady Novax again, I'm not sure what to think about this new guy...
Kelborn chuckled at that.
Yeah, I hear you. Lady Novax is one thing. This new..whelp is something entirely different. We've both worked with Lady Novax in the past. If she's anything like she was, this won't take long. I can understand why Lord Savage admires and respects her.
It was Locklear's turn to chuckle.
Amen. She's a helluva woman. Beautiful and deadly. Quite the combination.Changing the subject, Locklear asked about intel. What's the news on the Academy? I wasn't briefed on what we'd be facing. I imagine you've done your homework?
Kelborn nodded and help up his wrist, activating the portable holo-display.
Aside from what the planetary records show, there isn't much else. The Academy closed up it's doors after the last rulers abandoned them. And everything still looks relatively intact, so I would venture a guess and say that any of the more powerful Sith up and left with the former rulers. No signs of infighting or power struggles. Could be a good thing. Could be a bad thing. Hence why I feel better knowing you'll be in there backing us up. It's one thing to pacify an city, but an Academy full of angry Sith...that's above my pay grade. Academy security forces should be easy enough. We'll leave the heavy lifting to you and our Sith.
Locklear nodded.
Understood Major. Once Lady Novax and the...whelp arrive, we'll follow them in. I'll stick with them and have the rest of my company split of into escort groups for your men. Four lightsabers and a six highly trained rifles to a team seems like enough to chew through any resistance we'll encounter. If you run into any surprises, drop a nav marker and fall back. No point in getting killed for this. We all cooperate and we all make it back to the ship in one piece. If we pull through this, I'll buy this first round.
And with that, Kelborn nodded in acknowledgement and left Locklear to contemplate on the Academy Campaign.

Sith Academy Interior. Headmaster's Office.
As the First Order forces were gearing up to assault the Academy outside, inside the scene was much calmer. The Headmaster, Corvinus Malakai, sat at his ornate wroshyrr wood desk, the Academy's instructors and acolytes loyal to him arrayed before him. Malakai, an aged Zabrak of considerable years, was still loyal to the former Iridonian Empire and it's ideals. Though many years had passed since the former leaders had up and abandoned their people, Malakai was still loyal. And the several instructors and top acolytes in the room had sided with him. Until the invasion, the Academy had functioned much as it had in the past. It was quiet, with its instructors and students going about their daily activities. No large conflict ever plagued the Academy, due to the brutish nature of the former leaders. Fear ruled most of these people. With the exception of a few.
"We have been invaded by a foreign power. A power seeking to shackle us to their beliefs and ensure we are obedient slaves. But we are not. Too long have we remained under the heel of oppressive rulers. Too long have we remained powerless while those in power abused us as well as their station. No longer. I will not stand for another power hungry brute ruling over us with an iron fist. We will defeat them and drive them from our world! And then we shall rule Iridonia! In the name of the Sith!"
Cheers erupted from the members present, as Malakai finished speaking. The Academy's Blademaster stepped forth and spoke.
"I agree, Headmaster. However, reports coming from Malidris have shown that one of our own is behind this invasion..."
To add emphasis to her statement, Clarell procured her personal holocom and played Lord Savage's public proclamation, where he addressed the citizens of Iridonia, claiming the empty seat of the Sith'ari as his own. Once the recording finished, Clarell shut it off and returned the device to her belt. A frown crossed the Headmaster's face.
"This Lord Savage seeks to claim the vacant throne? He is not worthy. I remember when his father tried to claim the throne. He was worthy. This entitled piss ant offspring of his is not worthy of leading our people. He makes a bold claim by taking the vacant throne without proving himself to us. You all know the power we possess together. One single Sith claiming to be our new King cannot hope to stand against a united Sith. One man is not that powerful, even if he is a Savage...however, they are known to be a deceptive lot. Inquisitor Vallen. I have a special assignment for you..."
The Headmaster grinned broadly as the instructor know as Inquisitor Vallen stepped forward and sank to one knee.
"You are to head to Wortan. Seek out those who oppose this new King and his ilk. Unite them in their hatred. If we can unite the desolate and the weak of the world, we will possess a force strong enough to keep this new Sith'ari at bay. He will throw himself against our iron clad alliance in a vain attempt to consolidate his power. If he has already managed to unite all of Malidris against the rest of the planet, we will have our work cut out for us. But it is worth our effort to try and explore every option available to us."
Vallen bowed his horned head, long strands of white hair falling to the side of his face.
"Of course, Headmaster. I shall unite the riffraff and move them against this usurper."
Corvinus nodded.
"Excellent. Take Sorcerer Elise with you. Her control of the Force will complement your unyielding physical prowess nicely. And you will need whatever help you can get. Her powers of persuasion may be useful to you..."
Vallen rose to his feet as Malakai trailed off. He bowed his head again, while bringing his right arm up to his left shoulder, fist clenched.
"Your will is my command."
As Vallen and Elise both left the room, Malakai addressed the rest of them.
"See to the defenses of the Academy. I feel we will be having visitors shortly..."
The rest of the occupants within the Headmaster's office bowed and filed out of the room, leaving Malakai to pour over whatever information he could find on the apparent leader of the occupying force, Viox Savage.

Sith Academy. Victory II-Class Star Destroyer, Dead Space.
Seated in the command chair, Grand Admiral Bennette was reviewing the plan. There wasn't much of one, but it would have to do with the intel they had available. The holo pedestal next to her chair illuminated, showing the image of High Admiral Savage.
"Mi'lord."
Bennette inclined her head as Savage cleared his throat.
Lady Novax and Agent Witwer have been notified. They should be on their way soon. Ensure everything is prepared to proceed.
Bennette nodded.
"Understood. I will notify the troops."
As the image of the High Admiral disappeared, Bennette sat up straighter.
"Alert Colonel Locklear and Major Kelborn to prepare for the assault. Lady Novax is on her way."
And with that, the Comm Officer contacted the Colonel...
Sith Academy. Assault Staging Ground.
Colonel Locklear had just finished his inspection of the troops with Major Kelborn, knowing full well they were prepared for what was going to happen next. The Colonel's comm chimed. He removed the portable comm from his belt and answered it. It was the Dead Space's Comm Officer.
Colonel. Lady Novax is on her way. Prepare for her arrival. Ensure the troops are ready to move once she arrives.
Beneath his helmet, Locklear grinned. Soon he'd be swinging his saber-pike against the enemy.
Understood. We'll be ready.
Locklear cut the link, then opened a comm channel with the Major.
Major Kelborn. Get the charges in place. Be ready to detonate them the moment Lady Novax gives the command. I'll ensure our troops are ready to proceed.
The comm line pinged, indicating the Major had heard and understood his orders. As Locklear turned to face the Academy, he watched a demolitions team led by Major Kelborn, head to the front doors. As they went about planting charges, the Colonel's internal comm chimed. He answered it. It was the High Admiral.
Colonel. Your campaign begins shortly. I trust you have everything in order?"
Without hesitation, Locklear replied.
Of course sir. We are ready to proceed once the Lady gives the word.
There was a pause. And then the High Admiral spoke again.
I know I am sending you in with little intel. But I have faith in your abilities. This is a test for Lady Novax. I am ensuring she is still fit to command soldiers, as she once was. Having served with her before, you know exactly what she was like. Try to bring that aspect to the front...
Locklear interpreted the pause as an opportunity to reply.
Of course sir. I will do my best.
The pause following lingered for a few moments before the High Admiral spoke again.
Ensure that she is protected as well, without jeopardizing the mission. Should you encounter a situation that is beyond your capabilities to handle, do not hesitate to call me. I will be eagerly awaiting your status update.
Locklear stiffened up a bit, but replied without missing a beat.
Understood sir. We will get it done.
Apparently satisfied with the Colonel's answer, the line went dead. Despite whatever doubts or lingering questions the Colonel may have had, it was up to him to ensure that the mission was completed to the best of their abilities. And he would ensure it was. At all costs. He had never let the High Admiral down yet, and he wasn't about to start. Especially with so much riding on the success of the mission. As Kelborn and his demo experts finished rigging the main Academy entrance, they fell back and awaited for Lady Novax's arrival.

Larissa exited the drop ship and set off across the field, knowing that Witwer would follow. She walked proudly through the ranks of soldiers. As she neared the front she saw Colonel Locklear and couldn't help but smile.
"Colonel, how wonderful it is to see you again. I would have liked it to be under more peaceful circumstances, but we did last see each other on a battlefield, so maybe it is fitting. This is Alex Witwer, he'll be accompanying us. I am looking forward to seeing how he does."

Alex followed behind Lady Novax as she made her to a high ranking soldier. Alex stopped and step off to her right side as she introduced him to the Colonel. Alex bowed his head ever so slightly in place of speaking since he could sense several strong presences in the force emulating from the Academy. Alex could tell that this would be a battle that would require his full attention, and with that thought he turned his head back around and faced the Colonel, waiting for him to debrief them the best that one could.

Sith Academy. Military Staging Ground. Iridonia.
Colonel Locklear snapped to attention and saluted Lady Novax upon her approach. Once she started speaking, he relaxed. Upon her finishing, he inclined his head in her direction. She remembered him. After all these years, she actually remembered him. He was genuinely surprised, however his helmet hid that.
"Mi'lady. It is a distinct pleasure to be serving alongside you for this assignment."
He looked around and waved some of the troopers over. Among them was Major Kelborn. Upon his approach, he addressed Lady Novax.
"Ma'am. An honor to see you again...Major Jack Kelborn of Dead Space Company."
Beneath his helmet, he grinned. Some of the most inspiring moments in his military career had been at Lady Novax's side during the Crimson Order Uprising, many years ago. Aside from that, he was looking forward to working with her again. Locklear clearing this throat broke him of that reverie. Calling up a holomap of the Academy schematics, the Colonel began the run down of his plan so far.
"Ma'am. We've set charges to blow the main doors as soon as you give the signal. Aside from that, we are operating on limited intel. We know the layout of the Academy and have highlighted the main targets. In order to strike at each target, we'll have to split up into teams. Alpha Team will head for the Academy Security substation. Disabling and controlling that location will offer us the ease of unhindered movement within the Academy itself. Bravo Team will head to the dormitories and try to suppress any reinforcements as well as keep the students themselves contained. Charlie Team will head to the Library and Archives, intending to secure it and prevent any unwanted data purges. Lord Savage wishes all documentation to be intact upon his arrival. And finally Delta Team will be heading straight for the Headmaster's office. Rumor has it that he's the one orchestrating the Academy's defenses. With him removed from the picture, we figure the rest will submit willingly. Mind you, that is just rumor. There could be many rallying the Academy's students and staff. We don't know. We will split into teams of ten. Four Shadowtroopers and six Storm Commandos to a group. The rest of the troop assignments were left up to you, mi'lady. Where do you suggest to place myself, Major Kelborn, Mr. Witwer and yourself?"
Locklear shifted his gaze from the map over to Lady Novax. Beneath the helmet, he watched her body language as she responded to his question.

Sith Academy. Military Staging Ground. Iridonia
Alex listened to the Colonel's plan, it was a sound plan, with the exception of the lack of intel on the number of hostiles within the Sith Academy. Alex knew that Lady Novax had final say on troop deployments, but he thought that volunteering for one of the four teams would make a better impression on the Colonel, Major and Lady Novax. Now that he knew he was going to volunteer for one of the four teams he just needed to decide what team he should volunteer for. Since he has very little combat experience going with Delta team to confront the headmaster might not be the best idea, neither would being apart of Alpha team or Bravo team. Since he has again very little experience with dealing with security systems, plus since he was kept at the training temple for the majority of his life, trying to persuade the students of the Academy to swear loyalty to Lord Savage would most likely just end badly. So that Left volunteering for Charlie team, securing the library and making thing all data is intact. Alex spent a lot of time in the training temple library so he did have experience with handling important data.
"If it's alright with the Colonel and the Major, as well as you mi'lady I would like to volunteer for Charlie team. Since i do have experience with handling important knowledge that are normally housed in libraries. It would the best use of my talents."
Alex stood there patiently waiting for a response from either Lady Novax, Colonel Locklear or Major Kelborn. Hopefully they all could see the logic behind this idea of his.

Larissa smiled at Major Kelborn as he addressed her. She remembered him from several battles so long ago. It seemed that she would have decent people with her after all. She pulled her data pad out of her pocket, but decided to answer the Colonel's question first.
"If Mr. Witwer believes that he will be of use to Charlie Team, then I will allow that. I will head Delta Team. The Headmaster is mine to take. Colonel Locklear, I'd like you with me. Major Kelborn, it is nice to see you again. And if memory serves, I believe that Alpha Team would benefit greatly by your presence."
She pulled up the schematics that Gemma had given her.
"My handmaiden grew up here. Her sister still lives in the area and works in the kitchens of the Academy. They were able to provide a little intel for us. On the south side, there is a concealed kitchen entrance. From there a servants' staircase will bring us to the Headmaster's office. If we're lucky, he'll be there."
She pulled the data chip out and handed it to the Colonel.
"They marked several entrances that might be of use to us. As well as landmarks and terrain features. There have been changes here in the last few weeks. Penina was concerned and sent everything she could to her sister, knowing that I was on the Council. Her last update was two days ago. Make sure your people are aware of what lies in the landscape. I don't want to lose anyone due to stupidity."
She looked up at the Academy. Something felt off. It was too quiet, as if nothing moved beyond the walls. She knew this could not be true, but the Academy should have been full of life. Larissa was only feeling fear and anger. It was so strong that the life-force of the staff and students seemed to be drowning in it.
"I don't like the feeling of this place. Something is happening behind those walls that is poisoning the landscape. This used to be a beautiful, plentiful valley. The Headmaster is going to pay for this. I want everything executed quickly and efficiently. Get that intel to the heads of every Team. I want to be marching in as soon as possible."

Sith Academy. Military Staging Ground. Iridonia.
Beneath his helm, Locklear's face was grim. Lady Novax had commented on what everyone was feeling. A odd, twisted aura about the place. It unnerved him. But, without missing a beat, Locklear nodded.
"Understood. Alright, listen up! We've been given our orders and our plan of attack is set. Major Kelborn, you have Alpha Team. You'll be first through the doors. Get into position."
Kelborn nodded and stuck his hand in the air, index finger extended. He spun it in a circle.
"You heard the Colonel. We're going in first. Alpha Team, get prepped to breach and clear!"
Kelborn moved off the the rest of Alpha Team and headed towards the main doors of the Academy. Locklear then began issuing other orders.
"Bravo Team, get set to follow them in. Support Teams Victor and Sierra, get prepped to hold the main courtyard. You will hold that position at all costs. We lose that, we lose this fight."
Locklear paused and eyed up Witwer.
"Charlie Team, Agent Witwer is your commanding officer for the duration. You are to push through to the Archives and hold them until we give the all clear. Once Alpha and Bravo have begun pushing towards their objectives and the Support Teams are in place, you will head in. Delta, we are going to take the scenic route. Form up on the secondary entrance provided by Lady Novax. Support Team Zulu, you will follow us in and keep out exit secured. And be aware of your surroundings! I do not need any of you bucket-heads dying today because you weren't paying attention! We move out in ten. Alpha, once we are in position, I will signal you and we'll begin the assault. You've all got jobs to do, now get to 'em! Delta, form up and move out!"
As the teams began to move about, Locklear ensured that his single bladed saber hilt was still attached at his hip. He then retrieved his Lightsaber Pike. He clipped it on the small of his back and then motioned for Lady Novax to proceed.
"After you, mi'lady."

Sith Academy. Servant's Entrance.
Colonel Locklear lead the team to the concealed Servant's Entrance on the eastern side of the Academy. As a loud explosion echoed from behind them, Locklear knew that the assault had begun. As he climbed a rocky outcropping, it exploded in a wave of heat and debris. Locklear was thrown backwards as the rest of the team hunkered down. Despite the ringing in his ears, Locklear opened a link with Fleet Admiral Bennette on board the Dead Space lingering above them.
Admiral! We need fire support at the following coordinates!
Without waiting for a response, Locklear ripped off his helmet and wiped the blood running down the side of his face. He clambered to his feet and hollered out to his team.
"Keller! What in the hell was that?"
A Storm Commando equipped with advanced recon gear called out.
Turbolaser emplacement. I count six of them, concealed around the other side of the valley. Set up to protect the landing pads on the other side is my bet.
As Locklear limped back over to where the rest of the team was huddled, he shot Keller a dirty look.
"You don't say...why in the hell wasn't that in the mission dossier?"
Keller shrugged.
Best guess? They were put in without anyone noticing and covered with trace dampers and sensor scramblers. Probably put in after Lord Savage's public announcement.
Locklear swore loudly. He then glanced up at Keller.
"Bennette probably won't be able to target them if that's the case...have Zulu hold position. Keller, call up Ratchet and Buster. You three get to go and map out the location of those emplacements."
There was a brief moment of hesitation as Keller was on the comm with Zulu and his teammates. As two other Storm Commandos made their way up to Keller, Locklear spoke once more.
"Walk softly. No telling what other surprises they have in place for us."
Locklear watched them head back down the narrow trail they had just come down. Several shots rang out, averting his attention to the situation at hand. Several of the Storm Commandos under his command had managed to take up firing positions and were offering up some resistance, however the turbolaser emplacements were obviously well hidden and had better vantage points then the troopers did. They thundered as the fired upon Delta's position. Above them, Dead Space moved into position and began firing at the other side of the valley to draw fire from the troops on the ground. Locklear poked his head out and watched as the green lances began shooting skywards at the Star Destroyer.
:Alright, we've got a window here. We'll move up using the cover on the trail ahead. Only a few at a time, otherwise we'll attract the wrong kind of attention. Ready up. We move in two."
Locklear took one last glance out at the opposite side of the valley before he began to signal his men to move out, two by two. Hopefully the much smaller groups would be able to dart into cover before the gunners of the turbolasers realized they were advancing. Hopefully.

Iridonia. Sith Academy. Headmaster's Office.
The aged Headmaster sat behind his desk, Blademaster Clarell stood before him. His fingers were steeped together.
Blademaster, it would appear as though our uninvited guests have made for the Library. I am tasking you and your apprentice with the defense of that location..."
He trailed off, watching Clarell's reaction. She arched an eyebrow but didn't speak.
"You are questioning my decision? Don't worry. The Academy will fall. But our venture into Wortan will be successful. Vallen and Elise will return with aid. We are merely here to wear the enemy down at this point. Delay the inevitable until our help arrives. This self-proclaimed Sithspit's forces are trained much better than anticipated. Go now. My patience is not infinite."
He waved her away. She merely bowed and left the room, leaving the Headmaster to reflect upon his upcoming encounter with Colonel Locklear and Lady Novax. It was inevitable. The Force had granted him a vision of what was to come. The Academy had to fall. Give this usurper false hope...
Sith Academy. Blademaster Clarell's Quarters.
Clarell entered her quarters and called out to her apprentice.
"Zinyal. Gather your things and prepare for battle. The Headmaster has tasked us with defending the Library and Archives...
The young male Zabrak rose from his seated position on the floor.
"Of course, my master. We shall soak the floors in the blood of our enemies. These heretics will not pass through us..."
Clarell grinned.
"Of course, my boy. In comparison, there is no equal to your skills with a blade in the academy, aside from myself and the Headmaster. Now let's go...we've got work to do."
The duo quickly left Clarell's quarters and made their way to the Library and Archives...
