Gavin watched as Luxeria began the exercise. True to his expectations, she picked up on what to do with relative ease. Still, he was a bit surprised at this considering just how fast she picked up on it. Skill in Telekinesis was one thing, but this suggested she had been doing exercises similar to this on her own. And in less than ten minutes, she had all the rocks rolling and spinning on multiple axis as well as circling herself. It was at this point he started the timer. There was nothing else for him to do. If she seemed to have issues that needed a little guidance, he'd pass on a little wisdom. But it didn't seem like that would be a thing. She knew what to do. From here, it was all about adjusting and enhancing her skill.
After an hour, he called time on exercise. He could already see her sweating, which wasn't a surprise. An hour of focused Force use at this level of control exerted quite the mental strain. But she had done well. "That is all for now. Now go get some rest. Tomorrow, we step into the next lesson for enhance Force techniques. Until then." With that, he returned inside.

As Gavin saw, Luxeria began sweating a little passed the halfway mark. She had never done so much with her Telekinesis at one time nor for this long. It certainly worked to push her limits of stability and control in the Force. The more she had to focus and exert energy, the greater the strain. A few times she had to center herself and regain her focus and use the proper level of Force energy.
As he ended the session, she brought the rocks to a stop, then dropped them into the bin. Standing, she let out a few heavy breaths and gave a nod at his instruction. She knew, by what she had gone through, it'd be three hours of training prior to her next lesson. She was going to be exhausted by the week's end. At this rate, she'd no doubt be down for a bit to recover if she was ever given a break. That, or until she finally collapsed. Pushing the thought from her mind, she headed inside.

Luxeria came out the next, a bit wearier than normal. She had slept much longer than she had intended. The level of exhaustion that had been settling in from all the days of training had finally hit her hard. She didn’t get time to visit the library or work on anything else. And along side that, she had learned that the temple on Mustafar had been finished or was near completion and ready for them to start moving into. So it was possible that this was the last time she’d train with Gavin. That meant making the most of what time she had left.
As always, she began working with the droid, followed by the dummy, then the rocks.

It had been nearly three hours before Luxeria fell back, the rocks she was manipulating falling from where they were. She was physically and mentally exhausted. As she lay there looking at the sky, she sucked in air in heavy gasps as sweat poured off her body. She just couldn't see how it was possible anyone could adapt to such intensities. She could only hope Gavin would be a little while, otherwise she wouldn't be able to go on. And one thing she didn't want to look like, especially in front of people like Gavin, was pathetic and weak.

Gavin arrived about an hour after Luxeria finished her early session to find her laying out on the ground. With a smirk, he stepped over her and looked down at her. "Training hard? Seems like you've wore yourself out. Might let you take a few days to recover before we keep going once we finish today."

Luxeria was more just resting her eyes than sleeping as she felt Gavin arrive. What she didn’t expect to see when she opened then was him standing over her. Giving a sigh, she pushed herself up to a seated position. "Wouldn’t really matter anyway. The temple on Mustafar has been completed and is ready for those of the Blackguard to begin occupying it. I’ll be leaving tomorrow. And considering that the training of students will remain on Iridonia, this will be the last day of training. Disappointing really. It might have been merely the basics, but I feel as if I learned a lot this past week."

Gavin watched as she sat up, nodding as she spoke. He had heard that the temple had been completed but didn't think much about it. The distance would be an issue as he really wanted to teach Luxeria what he knew and let her show just how effective his methods were and show just how powerful she could become. Still, he shrugged. "Well, I guess it can't be helped. We'll just have to make the most of the time given to us. So let's get started."
He didn't wait for Luxeria to stand before beginning. "Now, what I'm going to teach will help enhance the effectiveness of some of your Force abilities. However, this doesn't actual affect your abilities within the Force. What it does is influence the mental aspect of an attack to help increase power. Let take a Force Push. On its own, you could make it quite effective. but have you ever felt an instance where it didn't seem as powerful as you intended? If that's the case, view using a Force Push as if you were actually pushing something physically. The tighter your arms, the more force you push out with makes a strong push. Doing this with the a Force Push won't affect the ability, as I said, but the mental sensation you get from that action, the idea of pushing as hard as you can can influence how you focus and gather the Force before releasing it. In time, these methods won't be necessary. But if you ever find your skills not living up to your expectations, give this method a try once again. It might help. Mind over matter, as one says. Or in this case, mind over the Force. And this can be used with different abilities. Force Push, Wave, Repulse, Pull, Crush, even Lightning. Its merely about finding the method that brings out the fullest intent of strength in your mind. Give it a try. Use your attacks randomly in different directions. No real target. You will know the difference. We'll go for an hour if you can manage it. Even in your best condition, using these abilities for long duration can wear you out. Also, you don't have to progress fast, either. Just take your time and gather your mind and strength and let it be reflected in in the Force.
Stepping back, he got ready to raise a barrier to protect himself from any attacks that came his way.

Luxeria pushes herself to her feet with a grunt as Gavin began to start the lesson. She was able to take it in, though she loathed the effort that was going to be required. By the end of this, she would be empty. No physical strength, no Force reserves, and an exhausted mind. With that thought, she guessed she’d be out for a few days. The idea made her scoff with a light smirk.
Catching his words and actions, she stepped up to begin. At first, she gave a one handed push, letting loose the Force at a large rock. It moved a bit, but she could feel the strength behind it. She then stepped forward and shoved her arm out hard. She imagined as if she was shoving someone in front of her. The force behind her push was stronger, she felt. It sent the rock flying and caused it to split apart.
She looked at the rock, then her hands. It was so clear. It had many applications. One such thing was when someone’s strength was waning, the mental hurdle hindered its effectiveness. This could compensate and get out that little extra power. With that in mind, she pushed through a few moves, giving herself some time between each move to focus her mind. A one handed push from each arm, then a two handed push, a pull with her left on a rock, crushing it with her right. Then her hands would flash out to the side as she released a wave then bore down in a barrage of lightning. Move after move, she worked at the method, seeing just how powerful she could make her attacks with the mindset alone. She’d go until there was nothing left, just as Gavin instructed.

Gavin watched, impressed with how quickly Luxeria took hold of the mindset. It only took one attempt at seeing the difference the grasp the understanding and improve upon it as she went. She would prove to be a powerful warrior before long. No doubt she’d face Malvus to obtain the rank of Sith Master. He only hoped the Sith would be ready.
The session went on for just over thirty minutes before Gavin finally called it. As well as Luxeria was doing, he could see her attacks were growing weaker. It wasn’t due to losing the mindset but from being worn out. If he didn’t stop her, she’d pass out from complete exhaustion. "Alright, Luxeria, that’s enough. You have done well. But before we part ways, I’ll pass on a bit more knowledge to you so could can push further in your training. For the basics of combat, look to further how you block and evade, moving passed the basics. For your attacks, begin studying up on anatomy of humans and other races to further increase where you can strike. And in the moments you can’t hit these points, learn to channel the Force into your attacks to increase its power, either by upping your strength or releasing bursts of Force energy upon impact. And finally, for your Telekinesis, increase the number of objects you manipulate while decreasing their size. See if you can eventually manipulate individual grains of sands or even water. Once you get settled, contact me and I’ll give you more things to work on. Should be enough to keep you occupied until I get a chance to visit so we can progress further. Also, a few questions I want you to think about and look into. What is the difference between the Jedi and Sith? What is the difference between Sith and other dark-siders? And finally, who are you and what kind of person are you looking to be as a warrior and I’m using your power?"

Luxeria stopped when Gavin told her to, stumbling a bit as she did. She was glad he ended it as she didn’t know how much further she could go. Drenched in sweat and gasping for breath, she looked at him as her vision began to blur. It took all she had to focus on his words, to grasp and understand it all. A small smile came to her lips when she heard that the training wouldn’t end, that he’d come to Mustafar to continue after she progressed further with what he had taught her thus far. Taking a step forward, however, everything went dark as she passed out. Completely exhausted from the week’s training.

Reaching out, he caught Luxeria before scooping her up. Smiling at her drive and effort, he carried her inside so she could rest.

Gavin entered his chambers, done with another day of teaching. It had been a couple days since Luxeria finally departed Iridonia for Mustafar. The time spent training the woman had stirred old memories, times spent training his apprentices of the past. It brought about a certain satisfaction that he hadn't felt in a while. True, he had his students, but they were still young and learning, not yet able to step into the more intense levels he had in store. Nidana was further along than the rest, especially with the potential she held, but she still had a little bit to go as well.
Leaning against the wall, he thought on what could be done to help both his students and Luxeria in their training. He had sent a message to the Headmaster about a few items, though he hadn't heard anything back on way or the other. Part of him was glad as he was thinking on a different path from the dummies he had requested. Sure, they worked for Luxeria to start her of and get used to the pressure points without having to fight back at the moment, but eventually, she'd have to step up. But what to use? Training droid were the best option when not having anyone to actually train with. But most training droids only did so much and lost effectiveness after a certain point.
Looking over, he noticed the frame of a droid sitting in the corner. At one point, he had acquired a Sith training holodroid. He had intended to use it for Anya, but she had departed his training when given the choice to continue into the deeper lessons or seek her own path. The Sith training droids were by far one of the best options. He had loaded this particular one with skills and knowledge of blaster weapons, all seven lightsaber combat forms, Jar'Kai, double-bladed lightsabers, and Trakata, and a few unarmed combat forms. He had even started letting it watch and analyze his fighting style and abilities so it could copy him for a particular sessions. Maybe that was the option. Work to enhance the capabilities of the droid to be able to fight skilled opponents, have an individual nature, and add in new light up sensors for pressure points.
Nodding to himself, he moved over to the droid, helping it stand up as he began to work on it. There was quite a bit that needed to be done, but once he was finished, he'd send it to Luxeria as a permanent training partner when none were around to help her. And he knew to help her grow, she couldn't be left with half capable droids to further her training.

Gavin worked for nearly an hour, dismantling most of the droid’s armor. While the Sith training droids were good for what they did, he wanted something more. A droid capable of truly standing with most warriors and Force-sensitives at a combat level. They’d never be fully capable with the Force as a weapon, but still, if these droids could force them to draw upon that energy and waste themselves defeating them, their purpose would be served. It the question was, how to do that?
There were many good droids, each serving a purpose. But for what was needed, he needed this droid style to be capable of matching the movements of an organic being. No blaster mounted weapons, no bulky frames. It had to be as humanoid as possible. And with that, only four options came to mind. The first was the Sith training droid itself, with the ability to copy someone’s skills and abilities as well as the holographic technology to further drive these abilities home. Then there were the IG-100 Magnaguards, capable of still fighting even if their head or some limbs were missing. There was also the EG series droids that were developed to be Jedi Hunters and the YVH-1 battle droid developed to combat the Yuuzhan Vong. If only he had the mind the develop a new droid implementing many of the best features of these droids to create a new breed of combat droids for the Blackguard. He’d have to get with someone who had better knowledge than him.

The days moved on as Gavin worked on the new design for the droid. It took time as he was still a teacher and his students needed their lessons. In between those sessions, he returned to his work, trying to sort out what he wanted to do and how to go about it.
The ability to copy a person’s appearance and abilities was a definite, the holoprojection technology remaining from the old Sith Training droid. But where to go from there? A new and advanced sensor system? Not necessary as it was being built as a training droid and a companion to aid Luxeria in battles. As such, it’s concern was being able to track the enemy that was in front of it. As nice as the ability to function with lost limbs was, it was a level of requiring and programming he didn’t want to deal with. The laminanium was being used to recreate the body, a larger frame to more resemble a person than a skeletal frame. And with precision servo motors, it could function at peak human levels of physical ability. With those things in mind, all that was left was the design

After a few more days of work, Gavin finally finished the designs for the droid. And with the Blackguard owning Mustafar and the droid foundries there, he was able to easily make an order for parts, systems, and sensors to put it together. If he was lucky, the Blackguard would take a liking to the design and use it, if not better the design for a newly crafted droid instead of a remodel. If they decided otherwise, then it’d be one of a kind for Luxeria’s use.

It had been a couple weeks since Gavin made an order for the required parts, but they had finally been finished and arrived. Spreading everything out within his chambers, he began working to reassemble the droid. With the new upgraded servos, the laminanium body, and the continued use of holo projector technology, it would be a dangerous droid to mess with. With that, he had been working for some time before coming here in altering the personality, giving it a better sense of individuality. Add in a better database, and all was what he aimed for. Once everything was installed, he could input information and video into the databanks of his previous fights and styles of combat. And once he made sure it contained the required information regarding all the combat forms and styles, he could begin working with the droid to analyze his current style of attacks and skills. Once that was finished, he could send it to Luxeria.

Already hidden once again beneath her cloak, the only true details Gavin was able to make out were her eyes and matching hair. The eyes might have been common, especially within the academy, yet the crimson locks were not, no matter the race. But in those few seconds he was able to gather enough to know she wasn’t a regular. Perhaps a new recruit or an ally of the Blackguard, one could only guess. Her presence wasn’t much, suggesting more along the lines of a new student, seeking to learn the ways of the Sith. But the look in her eyes spoke a different tale. That level of sharpness came from hardships and experience. While only a theory, he suspected that she, too, opted to keep herself hidden as much as possible. The next question, if it was true, was why?
Yet, he let the thoughts pass to the back of his mind. He wasn’t one for prying into the business of others, no matter how curious he was. If she was to take up residence within the academy, he was certain they’d cross paths enough for him to formulate just what she was up to. Without moving, his gaze followed her as she stepped to his side, hiding herself by using him as a shield. He closed his eyes giving the slightest of smirks and scoffs.
"Indeed. Serious combat is truly the way to grow, but thinking you can just jump levels like that only gets you hurt and sets you back if you’re lucky." Having no reason or care to draw attention to her attempt to slip out, he redirected the small conversation with her as she mentioned the Zabrak. At least someone understood something the way he did. "Perhaps next time he’ll be smarter, though I doubt it." It was at this point he turned to face her, fully hiding her behind his frame. In the slightest of nudges, his head tilted towards the door before he continued to face the exit and made his way back out into the hall. The way he watched her as she moved around him, she could tell that he realized what she was doing almost immediately. Yet he continued to hold this conversation as though he suspected nothing. Her eyes narrowed, watching him cautiously, even through their agreement of combat training and mocking of the more brutal Sith structures, those she would have assumed he followed. Then again, her prior meeting upon first landing here had already done much to shake her once critical view of the Sith’s current teachings.
What she didn’t expect, however, was his assistance in escaping the medbay before the doctors could reach her. It wasn’t the Zabrak youth who was the opportunity, but rather the one who brought him there. Odd enough that he would come to bring a saber wound victim in only to aid in the escape of another. Perhaps he didn’t realize exactly what he was doing, but she wouldn’t point it out to him. All that mattered was that he was willing to offer himself as a shield from prying eyes, so that she didn’t have to weave some taxing effect to make her own clean escape.
She didn’t say much of anything to him until they had reached the hall outside of the medbay. Once she knew that she was in the clear, she kept up with him, finding herself walking side by side with her rescuer from the fussing doctors and prodding medic droids. The way Gavin spoke of the youth, her lips betrayed the flicker of a wry smile. However, it was there and gone all too quickly, her expression resuming its usual stoic qualities.“Has anyone ever dueled the child before?” she asked, lending a side glance upwards towards him. “Truly dueled him? Not just practice, but fought him as though he was their equal?” Turning her gaze forward, she explained further, “He sounds as stubborn as I was, when I was his age.” It could be argued that she was still just as stubborn as she was then. She was sneaking from the medbay without being fully treated and healed of the saber wound she so easily and readily hid. A saber wound she acquired because she refused to fight at her fullest potential, at that. However, these were all facts she hoped Gavin wouldn’t catch on to. She was easily keeping up pace with him, though, showing no signs of pain. However, the issue with the strong medications was that the realization hadn’t yet set in, she was free from the medbay to do her wanderings as she had planned. She still walked with him, the Academy bustling by her as though she was in a dream.
"There are some lessons that a training droid can't beat into you."

The moment they were outside the medbay, Gavin had offered simply a small nod and smile before turning and leaving. He saw that she had no desire to stay within the ward, and considering she could still move relatively well, he saw no problem getting her out. He, too, didn’t care for the constant concern and examinations of doctors when he could handle the deed himself with a little time and rest. Now that she was free to move about, he had expected her to go her own way.
It wasn’t but a few seconds before he realized she was still with him, walking in step beside him. He watched her for only a moment out of the corner of his eye before returning his gaze in front of him. If she wanted to talk, he certain wasn’t in a rush to get anywhere. His only plan had been to head outside for a while and just watch the sky until most had retired for the night, allowing him access to the training area without a soul into watch and interrupt him. They passed a few students and master, some turning to look at them with a variety of gazes, though Gavin never once turned to acknowledge them.
It was even more interesting that Mariah opted to continue their line of conversation on the youth he had dropped off. Once more did his gaze shift to the corner of his eyes to focus upon her before facing forward again. "A few other students, other apprentices, and his master from time to time. But nothing truly serious as one might think. There’s no telling why he decided to turn up the settings on the training droid. Perhaps something said from his master or other students. Maybe he felt he wasn’t going far enough with the training he was getting and could do better himself. I’ve seen a few of those. But I think we all are that stubborn at some point or another. It’s merely a matter of do we learn from it to become better."
Curiousity finally getting the better of him, he let his head shift to gaze upon her fully. She wasn’t some newbie looking to learn, which would have granted no attention. But he had seen and felt enough to keep him thinking. And with her still at his side, he had to indulge his raging thoughts, if only a little. "So, new here or a visiting ally of the Blackguard?"

All of the stares from students and masters alike may have gone unacknowledged by Gavin, but Mariah met each with her sharp, violent gaze. In this moment and in her present state, she couldn’t have answered an acceptance to her unspoken challenges, but thankfully, none came. At the very least, the two were able to continue on their way with nothing but those stares. Why the interest, though? In her, the new face who wandered these halls? Or Gavin, this enigma she hadn't the time to unravel? Or was it the both of them? This Sith Academy was filled with a labyrinth of puzzles, ones she hadn’t the time to solve.
Gavin guided her mind back to the conversation she had unknowingly an unexpectedly continued. Even now, she started to wonder. Why did she follow him? Her mental fog was so strong, she felt like she was drifting along this current, unsure when she would be able to regain control. She had no time to dwell on it; Gavin continued with an answer and explanation regarding the youth, but it wasn’t one she had expected to hear. She huffed out an exhale, and with a shake of her head, her disappointment was visible for that moment.
“I won’t critique either the Academy’s way of teaching its students, nor yours,” she murmured.
Her words resurged the memory of the medbay’s discussion between Gavin and the doctor. The critical tones they both used with the other proved that there some tension all around in how the students should be trained.
“By the sounds of it, you deal with it enough on a regular basis.”
The flurry of evanescent thoughts continued -- Why was there tension between his and the Sith’s teachings? And the other questions swarmed, brought about by their initial meeting: Why did he hide himself the way she did? Was he hiding from someone? Or was he hiding something about himself from the others? -- come and gone before she could truly grasp them. A snarl caught in her throat, seemingly out of nowhere to anyone other than herself. Focus. The boy.
“If he wants a fight that leaves him in such a mess of a state, though, give it to him. Do not make him turn to a training droid to experience a real fight, or he may never learn.”
That was the point she wanted to make, albeit in such a roundabout way. Her sharpened tones would probably do little to change his mind either way. It was unsolicited advice that she offered. However, she was no different than he, the doctors, and all of the other masters here, in having her own opinions. Despite her youthful appearance, Mariah still spoke with an experience that no other student would have that walked these halls, something that Gavin was already growing more aware about.
Her crimson gaze caught him again out of the corner of her eye.Trudging through the effects of such a thick mental haze was not aiding her in this conversation. It was this fog or the pain, and the choice was clear. As her footsteps fell in sync with Gavin’s, though, she was reminded who she walked next to, spoke with with such critical tones and opinions -- a Master at the Sith Academy. His lack of presence made it easy for her to forget. Her once fluid conversation was cut off with this reminder, and with his question, she answered bluntly.
“Both.”
She once more turned her gaze upwards to watch him, carefully, to gauge his reaction. For all intents and purposes, she was nothing but a pledged sword to the Blackguard’s cause, at least in her mind. However, her conversation with Jen’ari was not so long ago that she had forgotten about their deal. It sparked a reminder: her time limit. While she had so many burning questions for him in return, she knew that most, if not all, would simply remain as simple, fleeting thoughts. There was little to any point pursuing their answers, not when there were tangible discoveries to made within the Academy.
“I’ve only just offered my services to the Blackguard as an official ally, in return for training in other fields. I leave tomorrow for Sullust, which reminds me...” Her voice trailed off for a beat. “I’ve wanted to grow familiar with the Academy in my short time here. If you’ll excuse me.”
Mariah moved herself out of the way of the movements of students and masters and slowed her pace to a stop. She figured that Gavin would continue on his way. He was a Master at the Sith Academy, after all, and she had no intention of making him entertain her while she was here. Leaning her shoulder against the wall, she glancing down the hall. She had one day to explore the Academy, and she now had wasted more precious moments on idle chit-chat regarding a student she would probably never see again once she left Iridonia. She growled an obscenity under her breath, even though she knew no one would recognizing the language, should she have given it more power.
“Where to first…”

He couldn't help but smirk at her comment of critiquing neither the academy's or even his own training methods. It was a bit humorous considering she knew only a fraction of the typical methods of the academy and none of his own. Even if she had considerable understanding of both parties and could pick them apart with relative ease, he'd shrug it off just as easily as he did now. All had their opinions and could voice them freely. It did little to nothing to phase him. Only when people wanted to criticize his methods as being weak when it was the students and apprentices of others he was carrying in every once and a while did he take enough issue to hold a critical tone with them. That said, he was never one to waste his breath in an argument. He'd let the results speak for themselves.
The fourteen under his care, fifteen when Nidana was able to make it, were moving at a slower race than the rest currently, that was true. But they had come to him with no skill or knowledge. So it was his choice to focus the entirety of their early training to simple basics both in combat and the Force. Once they had mastered those fundamentals, he'd allow them to move on. And that would be when things would pick up. Already had it been a few months of daily training, practicing for nearly three hours before Gavin even arrived to start the focused lesson for the day, which had become repetitive, he knew. But they were slipping beyond basics, using those core tenants to starting expanding their capabilities, and he was working to aid them in their refinement. In another few weeks, they'd receive their training sabers and begin working in lightsaber combat as well as the more in depth lessons of Force control.
At the mention of dealing with critiques of others, he lightly shrugged with a slight chuckle. "Perhaps a bit. But there comes a point when it doesn't matter. You do you and I'll do me, as it were." When the comment came up about handling the student, and, ultimately, all others who ended up in his predicament, all sense of humor was gone and a serious expression feel upon his features. However, he wasn't angered at her words. She did have a point. Facing any of them in such a way would either help them grow better or make them think twice about attempting such high level training too early. Yet, he had a bit of a code when it came to such things. "True enough. However, I make it a point to avoid interfering with the training of one who's not my student or apprentice. If the student were to ask me or were sent to me by another instructor or master, then I would. I've done so already. But until that time, I'll watch and nothing more. It'll also help to define the effectiveness of training methods. If my students prove more effective, then my point will have been proven. If the others are the stronger, then I'll admit my faults and look at things from a new perspective."
He typically never stepped in to train another out of respect for their teachings, especially those who he did, indeed, respect. But he had slightly stepped on some toes early in Luxeria's training before the Blackguard's creation. Malvus hadn't resented Gavin's methods, but felt that the student should focus on learning from their master. From then on, he kept out of training those not under him. True, he had trained Luxeria the week after she returned from the raid on Felucia, but she had sought him out. It wasn't but another week that she had been released from her apprenticeship and was made a Sith warrior within the Blackguard.
He let these thought move swiftly through his mind until gone, his attention being directed back to Mariah when she responded to his question. He gave another chuckle and a sideways tilt of head. A question that certainly allowed for both answers to be be acknowledged. At first, he expected her to leave it at that, turning his head to hr when she finally continued explaining herself. Another person desiring to learn more than they already knew. He had begun thinking that there was more to to woman than she let on, which included her level of power and her skills coupled along side it. Still, if he knew anything, one was never to experienced to learn something new. "Sullust, huh. That would be Ifrit Bladeweaver's domain. Master Spellbinder of the Blackguard." He said no more, feeling it was unnecessary. If she was heading there, she undoubted knew his name and who he was. While he knew all those within the academy, he had yet to learn all the names and faces within the depths of the Blackguard's ranks. However, he did make it a point to at least learn those of particular rank: Malvus, Akrak, and, of course, Ifrit.
Following his words came her expression of desire to explore the academy and see what it had to offer before her departure the next day. In a short moment after wards, she had disappeared from his side, already come to a stop. He hadn't heard her choice of words that she spoke to herself, much less understood her reason for it, but caught the question. Turning, he came to a stop a few feet away. "Well, if anything, I would certainly check out the library and the training area as they are two of the most pivotal points of interest here should you be unable to see everything." He would have offered to guide her around, but something told him she wished to carry on alone. Despite the small conversation that they had, she seemed to seek solitude if it was available. It was a shame really. For what it was, he actually enjoyed her company. For just a few moments, he could talk to another without being eyed with distaste. But he elected to let her be. He then turned back the way he was headed, though his eyes stayed trained on her until he could no longer keep them fixed in her direction. Giving a small wave, he began making his way back down the hall. "Good luck on Sullust." Before long, he was gone.
With his encounter at its end, Gavin made his return to his chambers. There was still some time left to kill, a couple hours at least. He could just lay around, but he never had the patience for it. He had already spent enough time in the training area watching others and outside of that, there was little else for him to do. Leaning against the wall, he took a deep breath before his gaze shifted over to a small shelf on the wall. There sat a few items though his attention was set upon the two wooden flutes. A single flute and a triple flute, which carried three flutes bound together, each spread out to form a triangle. It had been weeks since he had stopped to actually play. It was always so peaceful to get lost in the music, and after the recent run of tension built from his lessons and others, he could do with a little clarity of mind. Moving to the shelf, he opted for the triple flute before departing the simple room for the courtyard outside.
