Alright people here's the deal. I've been around this site for a long time, and I've successfully trained several apprentices (both IC, and OOC), and I figure I wouldn't mind helping some more. This idea of mine has been a while in the making (since just before the crash of the old site, actually): I'm looking to start up an Academy of sorts that is somewhat unique. It would be open to anyone, of any "denomination"; its official policy is to teach all aspects of the Force equally, and let students decide for themselves what path to follow. As well, non-sensitives would be welcome, sharing classes in combat, etiquette, economics, sciences, and whatever else they choose to take, as well as special classes to enable non-sensitives to learn to cope with fighting Force Sensitives. I've seen a few Sith or Dark Side Academies pop up on the site over the years, as well as a vast number of Jedi Academies. There was even a "Twilight" academy once, but never one open to anyone, no matter their "Force Alignment:" box says. I have a couple of writers who are at least somewhat interested, and I'm hoping more people show up, especially those who have avoided the more traditional academies in the past. This Sounds intresting in a way I would more than gladly participate in something like this it seems like somewhat of a fun time haha

Well, we have a few people interested in stopping by right now. All we need is 1 more person willing to make it a more permanent stop (ie, actually willing to join the Academy faction) so we can get the Academy threads made

At the Silver Shadow Academy, we provide knowledge on all the aspects of the Force, learning the how and the why of every technique. We constantly challenge the students to think about the other side, no matter where they stand while educating them in as broad a scope of subjects as we can, so that when the time comes, each and every student will be able to make their own choice as to the path they wish to follow and be able to set out with the skills they need to be successful at their choice

I don't think it's the right fit for me. Walking a line that close to the perceived 'middle-ground' courts disaster. Anarchy doesn't really appeal to me. Order, not chaos. And besides which, I seem to recall a certain senator speaking about being well-rounded in all aspects and 'sides' of the Force. That leads to temptation.
