The Bilbringi Shipyards, or the Bilbringi repair yards, were a major military production facility first controlled by the Galactic Empire, then later the New Republic. Located in orbit with the asteroid Bilbringi VII, the shipyards were a mass of dockyard platforms, partially built starships, and construction vehicles.

A little over a year had passed since the once-hidden Sith Empire had emerged from the farthest reaches of the galaxy to threaten everything that the Republic gave to its citizens and even tried to extend to those who remained outside of the jurisdiction on planets maintaining their own law and order. Now, things had changed. The Sith were no longer simply trying to push in from the Outer Rim, threatening far off systems that generally stretched the resources of the centrally-focused Republic. They were, on sound word from the Jedi Knight Keth Agrav, moving in to strike near the Core and aim to drive a fatal blow into the heart of the Republic with the intent to cripple it once and for all, letting the Sith have reign over the galaxy once more. It was a nefarious plot that most likely would have caught the Jedi completely off guard had that same Jedi Knight not survived the feint at Korriban and returned to known space to relay the danger.
Planets across the galaxy, Republic members and those unaffiliated alike, bore evidence of this brutal war of attrition. Bilbringi was one such planet. Given that it was home to one of the major shipyards accessible to the galaxy, it was one of the hubs of the Republic navy. Most of its docks were filled with all manner of starships seeking repairs from the various arenas across the galaxy that they had been warring in. Currently, 6 of the docks were preparing to discharge the ships designated as part of the Sunbelt fleet, newly christened by High Admiral Rosina because of the familiarity between the ship's commanding officers maintained after the mission they had returned from. These six ships, all coming into formation around the largest among them; the Venator-class Star Destroyer named Matrix which served as the Sunbelt fleet's flagship, were preparing to embark for Corellian space to serve as the command structure for the influx of Republic ships being prepared to handle the anticipated attack by the Sith Empire.
Currently, they were waiting for a single T-6 Shuttle to leave the shipyard's main control center and land on the Matrix. The shuttle would be ferrying across the two Jedi that had been assigned a few weeks prior to the Sunbelt fleet. The delay stemmed from the shuttle about to take on more Jedi passengers than the human Zak Caranthyr and the Shistavanen Keth Agrav. Having just arrived as per the High Admiral's orders, a pair of Scythe-class battlecruisers were undergoing repairs. They had brought with them a member of the Jedi Council which had only in the last few months dispersed even the majority of its own Council members to participate in the battles raging in the Outer Rim. This was the serene but very experienced Nautolan Jedi Master Rael Starfall. Also along was a Jedi Knight paired with General Starfall just as Zak was paired with Keth; the Barabel prodigy Haska Herotyne. Word had been circulating around the Republic Navy that the Barabel, renowned as per his species for being fierce hunters, was single-handedly leading ever-weakening forces in the defense of Serenno, a planet on the edge of the Eastern Outer Rim theater of combat. According to reports of the surviving soldiers who were evacuated when the Sith finally diverted enough forces to finally overwhelm Haska's defenses, the Barabel Jedi had performed unbelievable feats of combat. Showing such proficiency with his dual bronze-colored blades that whole battalions of Sith-allied soldiers were unable to stand against him. He had been the only reason Serenno had stood for so long.
The four Jedi were now sitting in the committee salon that was kept for those just disembarked from their transport, which for them was waiting at the end of the docking corridor just outside the viewport that dominated one whole wall of the salon. Keth, having used brief Jedi healing trances while he moved from location to location during this lull in the action, was nearly healed from his previous engagements. His wrist was still tender and his breath caught every so often, but one more trance would take care of those ailments and he would be back to full strength and ready to engage the Sith forces once more. Between the light conversation the Jedi had been engaged in, Keth had been surveying Haska with interest, noting that despite the Barabel's miraculous feats, he also bore permanent signs of damage despite the internal healing being accomplished. In some places the scales that covered his body were either discolored or chipped. A scar ran down the right side of the Barabel's face and continued down his neck below the collar of his tunic, pushing a jagged gap between the scales as if refusing to simply fade away. It reminded Keth that he was missing most of his canine left ear and that the fur refused to grow back on the now scarred patch on his chest where he had been struck with Force lightning by direct contact. Yes, the war had taken its toll on these Jedi warriors, no matter how skilled.
Starfall had just been explaining how he now planned to have Haska and himself join Keth and his fleet as they moved for Corellia, expressly because the two Scythe battlecruisers that they had arrived on were being repaired and sent directly to Fondor to act as part of the false defense force Keth had devised with High Admiral Rosina when they had last met. It all fit the plan that the Falleen High Admiral had prepared that the Jedi would be assembling in force at Corellia, ready to spring their own trap in hopes of catching the highest rank Sith off guard and kill them before they could cause enough damage to actually make any inroads against the Republic's Core worlds. Naturally, Zak, a younger Jedi who was absolutely thrilled to have the now-famous Haska Herotyne and a Jedi Master join them eagerly agreed to their joining. Keth, with natural Jedi calm, agreed to make the transfer official.
As the four prepared to depart, Master Starfall addressed the Shistavanen.
"Jedi Agrav, your heroic acts have been well documented by the Council. I have been told to inform you that you are being considered for elevation to the rank of Jedi Master."
Humility born out of being a realist at heart, Keth cocked his head at the Nautolan who's big black eyes were seemingly always humorous.
"It is an honor to be considered, Master Starfall. I'd think concluding this war is my most pressing task at the moment, regardless."
Rael smiled earnestly at that.
"Funny; Haska said the same thing when I told him of his consideration for elevation."
Keth was not at all surprised that the Barabel was being considered for the rank of Master. In his opinion, the reptilian Knight was more than qualified, even if Keth had not been able to sense much from the Jedi at all during their encounter.
The four Jedi moved down the docking umbilical to their waiting T-6 shuttle. Haska spoke.
"This one thinkz your featz against the Sith Lordz make you most deserving, Keth. This one will be blunt in saying he envies you for the opponentz you have faced."
Keth smiled, harmlessly bearing fangs, at the Barabel. Both of their species were predatory by nature, so the Shistavanen well understood Haska's statement.
"I'm not overly exaggerating when I say I almost wish you could have had the chance to face them. I consider myself lucky to be alive and well to talk about it."
Haska sissed in what was a Barabel's laugh. The reptilian species was known for a rather off sense of humor.
"This one is not sure whether wishing me encounterz with Sith Lordz is a compliment or an insult."
Starfall heartily laughed at that, prompting smiles from all the Jedi. They reached the T-6's hatch and entered, quickly starting the ship up and leaving the shipyard center behind, heading for the Matrix. The conversation had stopped there as the Jedi remained all business reaching the Star Destroyer. They docked there without incident and left the shuttle into the bast hangar bay of the Venator. Boasting the ability for a compliment vastly exceeding most other Star Destroyers of similar classification, the Venator usually was filled with more starfighters and support craft than the eye could readily count. But after a few costly engagement, the remaining starfighters in the hangar required less than half of the full ability of the destroyer. It was an unspoken testament to the attrition of war that plagued the galaxy as of late.
Somber at the reminder, the squad of Jedi made their way in near silence out of the hangar, prepared to go about any number of banal tasks as the Sunbelt fleet moved for hyperspace and therefore Corellia. Meditation, intel briefing, and any number of activities awaited them on the next leg of their journey. After all, they wanted to be sharp for the Sith invasion fleet that was coming straight at them like a hammer.
The Sunbelt fleet soon reached the required coordinates and jumped to hyperspace, leaving the busy Bilbringi shipyards behind.

We just got contact from Corran, sir.
An Imperial agent walks up to the Commissar, who served as Overseer for the Bilbringi System, handing him a datapad. The Commissar takes the pad, examining it quietly for a moment before nodding to the agent. Corran's first phase was completed. Hopefully he would do what he was rehearsed to do for the sake of the First Order. He suspect his fellow Commissar and agents at Yaga Minor would gain wind of this as well shortly.
As he gazes out at the various shipyards at work, another report comes in of an anomaly within the asteroids. This was the seventh time today, yet there was no exact pinpoint of what it was. Ever since taking the system, the First Order had been detecting strange anomalies within the denser parts of the asteroid belt. He was half tempted to call in the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, Resurgence, to perform a clean sweep of the system. Its more advanced technology would surely do the trick.
Keep monitoring it, Ensign. See if it pops up again and mark its position on a map if possible.
His gaze turns away from the shipyards and looks out at the various asteroids. There was something out there alright.

The Bilbringi Shipyards were a hive of activity. Churning out warships and snub fighters for the First Order war machine, this location had become invaluable to the First Order. Being in the Iridonia Oversector, the shipyards had also gained the attention of the Oversector's Grand Moff, Lord Savage. All of the defenses over Iridonia had been manufactured here. And while this station served as both a repair dock and construction line, the High Admiral had taken advantage of the opportunity the shipyards presented. Gaining permission from the Supreme Commander himself, Lord Savage ordered the construction of a Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer to begin at the shipyards. While only 25% complete at this time, the workers, both organic and synthetic were working around the clock to ensure this massive vessel was created on time. Materials were mined from the nearby asteroids as well as shipped in from all corners of First Order territory. Within the next few months, the massive vessel would hopefully reach completion.

In the following months, due to near non-stop work, the Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer had been completed. Still docked in on of the shipyards' docking rings, the unnamed Resurgent was ready to join the First Order's war against the Galactic Alliance, though before it could do so, it needed a captain...a leader capable of utilizing the ship's true potential...

As the Sith Inflitrator cleared the asteroid field and approached the Shipyards, Savage merely spoke to Harlan, noting that the human was rather excited to have a gift such as the Resurgent bestowed to him.
"You have earned it. Your abilities speak for themselves. And I believe that loyalty should be rewarded. We will dock with the ship, then make our way to Muunilinst to speak with the Supreme Commander in person. You deserve official recognition for your duties."
Finishing with that, the Infiltrator made its way to the Resurgent's hangar, docking with the massive ship. As the Infiltrator was secured for departure, the massive Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer was released from its berth. Thrusters pushed the large vessel away from the docks. Once clear, the ship accelerated at sublight speed away from the Shipyards into the asteroid field. Once clear of that, it would proceed to jump away from Bilbringi.

Months after the completion of the Resurgent-Class Star Destoyer, coined the Conquered Star by High Admiral Harlan Petrovsky, the Bilbringi Shipyards were once again at work, this time working on several ships. Occupying the four main berths, were the framework and superstructures of four Imperious-Class Star Destroyers. Barely a third of the way completed, these ships were commissioned by Sith'ari Savage, Grand Moff of the Iridonia Oversector of the First Order. The order to build these ships had also been signed off on, by Harlan Petrovsky. By order of the Blackguard Reborn, allies to the First Order, the construction of the Blackguard Fleet had begun...

Now at nearly the half way mark, the four Imperious-Class Star Destroyers were looking more like space worthy vessel rather than looming hulks. Round the clock shifts for both man and machine were taking place as this was only part of the full order of ships that needed to be constructed here. With materials and resources being pulled in from the newly conquered planet of Mustafar and all corners of the First Order, construction continued. Undoubtedly, the construction of these ships would not go unnoticed by Emperor Nicademus himself, but with their influence expanding rapidly, the Blackguard needed ships to help defend their territory. And the First Order would benefit from having allies capable of pulling their own weight in a fight as well. Many might not see it that way, but that was the intent of this fleet. To defend the Blackguard's interests and to help aid their allies, should the need ever arise. And so, the construction of the Blackguard Fleet continued...

As the construction continued, a missive from the Sith'ari came through, indicating that all construction on three of the four Imperious' be halted and focused on one of the ships to rush its completion. As construction halted on three of the Imperious-Class Star Destroyers and all efforts to complete one of them pushed on, soldiers from all over Blackguard space were being ferried in to begin staffing the vessel, ensuring that as soon as it rolled off the line, it would be crewed enough to be useful.

Construction on the first Imperious was complete. The other three were to be resumed shortly. As the massive ship was released from the dock, it slowly drifted away. Captain Aravick Grissom, formerly of Void Command, the Sith'ari's personal fleet, was transferred and appointed command of the ship. Standing on the bridge, overseeing the final preparations, Grissom spoke to his bridge crew.
"Welcome aboard the Hyperion. The first of four ships of the Blackguard Fleet. For many of you, this is a new posting. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish for the Blackguard as the first operation ship of the fleet. Our first objective is to take the ship to Iridonia. Once our shakedown run is complete, Grand Admiral Bennette will inspect the ship and issue us our first official task as part of the Blackguard. Let's get underway. Plot a course for Iridonia. It's best that we don't keep the Grand Admiral waiting."
After receiving several 'aye sirs' from the various stations, the massive ship turned away from the Bilbringi shipyards and began to navigate through the asteroid field to reach a hyperspace lane.

With the rushed completion of the first Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, christened as the Hyperion, construction efforts could resume on the remaining three Imperious Star Destroyers. Being over three quarters completed, the massive ships were now in the process of being staffed by those loyal to the Sith'ari. Pulling officers from the Sith'ari's fleet as well as from other planets now within the Blackguard's orbit, the process would take time, but by the time the ships were completed, the would be staffed to operational capacity.

The second Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, named Natanus, was cleared to launch from its berth. On the bridge of the ship stood the Zabrak commmander, Kradus Sesrom. Formerly a Lieutenant stationed on the Genesis, the FireStar-Class Orbital Platform over Iridonia, Kradus was selected to command this vessel due to his efficiency and loyalty, he arrived just as the ship was being completed. Dressed in the grey naval uniform of the Blackguard, Kradus issued orders to his crew.
"Take us out. Once clear of the dock, maneuver us into the asteroid field. Once clear, jump us to Mustafar. The Sith'ari wishes up to join his ships there and aid in securing orbit and ensuring the new shipyard there is completed on schedule."
After receiving several 'aye sirs' from his crew, the ship maneuvered itself away from the orbital docks. Once clear, it proceeded into the asteroid field. Possessing the constantly updating drift charts, the massive ship made its way through the field. Once clear, it oriented itself along the appropriate hyperspace lane and jumped away, leaving the final two Imperious Star Destroyers to finish being completed.

Bilbringi Shipyards was a complex system of docks compared to the uniformed ones under the banner of the First Order. The asteroids provided excellent materials for mining operations with larger asteroids being hallowed for the population and facilities extended out from its surface for the construction of ships. Yet, in the days of the Old Empire, it was a well-known facility for the construction of Star Destroyers. It sat on a vital hyperlane into the Imperial Sector, served as an excellent staging area for fleets and had served its purpose for the Old Empire, the Imperial Remnant, and the Fel Empire. Today it would serve its purpose once more.
Imperial High Command placed a massive order for the construction of several Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, their skeletons seen within the larger dockyards. Among other vessels included a dozen or so of support vessels. The vessels would merge together, once they were complete, to form the Golden Nyss Squadron, reviving an old fleet command from the days of the Old Empire and before.

Finally the last Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, Paarchero, was completed. It rolled off the lines sporting the crimson markings of the Blackguard Reborn. While currently lacking a CO, the Paarchero cleared the shipyards, gathered the required information on the asteroid field and jumped to Iridonia to collect a CO and the rest of the crew.

In the shipyards of Bilbringi, the keel of a new ship was being laid. The thin metal structure was currently just a large number of metals that had been delivered to the station. Today, however, that was changing. Workmen gathered around and watched as the owner of the shipyards struck the first pieces of metal together with an arc welder. It was tradition for this to happen, even though it was more symbolic nowadays, and immediately afterwards the weld would be re-done by a professional, but it never hurt to obey traditions. The ship in question was an Imperious-Class Star Destroyer named the Ecce Signum. In addition, three Pellaeon-Class Star Destroyers and six Ardent-Class Fast Frigates were being prepared to serve under this new class fleet, under the capable command of Garrick Needa.

It had been a few weeks since that first keel plate had been laid down, and work was progressing exactly on schedule. The Ecce Signum’s Hull was slowly taking shape in its berth. The widening base of the ship was under construction, its silvery shape contrasting against the gunmetal color of the space station around it. No work had yet been done on the top of the ship or superstructure, but this was supposed to be done in a few months’ time, and they were already almost a month in. The rest of the fleet was about a third of the way completed, but the larger vessel was not nearly as far along. However, it would still be done exactly on schedule, though the space station’s commander preferred having some extra time, and in this case they would need it. Often times, the complex shielding, which had been drawn from a Mon Calamari design, were a bit temperamental. However, the engineers were confident that they would be finished in time.

Serious progress had been made on the Ecce Signum. Its supporting fleet had nearly been completed, ready to launch to protect the larger vessel. Though they could operate on their own, they would be lacking a head without the larger Imperious-Class Star Destroyer. The hull of the vessel had nearly been completed; the distinctive Star Destroyer wedge shape was clearly visible, with large holes present in the rear of the ship, waiting to receive the reactor and engines, that would power the ship and drive it forward, respectively. The superstructure was now under construction, with the small cityscape beginning construction. Soon, the ship would be ready to receive its fitting out, and would be ready to fight the enemies of the First Order. But for now, it was still anchored to the massive space station.

At last, it was finished. The beautiful silvery hull of the Ecce Signum glistened as the sun rose over the horizon. As the supporting fleet faced the dock, the sun rose from behind the collection of ships, silhouetting the vessels. On the bridge of the Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, Garrick completed his speech, with a booming "Ad Gloriam! Ad Victoriam!" Though he was usually not an outspoken man, he could deliver passionate speeches when he needed to. The ebony silhouettes of the supporting fleet floated in space, facing the ship. A bottle of champagne was sitting on the table on the bridge of the Ecce Signum, its golden label glinting in the light of the bridge. Garrick gripped the bottle by the neck and turned to face the wall behind him. As the ranking officers and regional governor looked on, he walked up to the large Legion of Merit on the wall. The matte black plaque, made of marble mined from Bastion, had inscribed on it, in small golden letters, the names of the Legion of Honor, veterans who had long served under Garrick, since the age of the Empire. Swinging his arm against the wall, the clear-emerald bottle breaking on the cold marble. Simultaneously, the clamps holding the ship released and the engines flared to life, propelling the ship forward. Applause broke out on the bridge as a second, chilled bottle of champagne was broken out, along with enough glasses for all those on the bridge. Glasses were filled and passed around, with Garrick, who usually disliked such fineries, even allowing himself this one small taste. The clinking of glass, patriotic cheers, and general sounds of merriment filled the bridge of the ship. Garrick, however, was not focused on this. He was now finally able to bring the Ambusti Terrae doctrine he had spoke about years ago into practice. Now, at last, he would finally get his chance at bringing order to the galaxy.

On the massive ring that was Bilbringi Shipyards, the golden lights of the wing containing the apartments used for important guests, and the simplistic conference room spilled out onto the asteroids that surrounded the station, being grabbed and torn apart by satellites for resources. As a brand new production run was about to start on a new class of ship, a lot of resources would be required, which could conveniently be acquired within the system itself. In the conference room itself, a group of important Imperials had been gathered in order to unveil the brand new ship, which was currently hidden behind Bilbringi VII to be brought out for the correct moment in the presentation. The various members of the Imperial Navy who were gathered had been sipping champagne, waiting for the presentation to begin. As Garrick and a member of the design team stepped out into the conference room the lights dimmed, and the windows behind them slowly tinted black. As the members of the design team began presenting the methodology the ship was designed with, the Autarch itself moved to the space where the windows were for the grand reveal. The design programs, guiding philosophies, et cetera, were explained, while Garrick carefully observed the expressions of the admirals. A few of them still had their cocky stares, but the rest were now genuinely paying attention to the presentation. Perhaps there was hope for these young admirals yet...

It had been some time since that fateful meeting. The construction of the first prototype vessel had taken less time than expected, and so there had been more time for the ship to be tested to an extremely thorough degree. In all trials it had exceeded expectations, and it was truly a worthy successor to those used by the Empire before them. Garrick stood on the bridge alongside his fellow engineers. Several members of Imperial high command were aboard the bridge of the ship, their faces and grayish uniforms illuminated in the clear, azure light that bathed everything in the space. Garrick even had the honor of having the Emperor himself observe the launch of this historic ship. As he watched out the windows of the ship, over the descending metallic steppes of the superstructure and the flat plain that was the hull, to the group of battlecruisers, star destroyers, and smaller ships silhouetted by the star behind them as the final preparations were being completed for launch.
