Those are some formidable ships, maybe I will jump in with my fleet too. Good time to test out the new fleet rules, see what I need to change or whatever. When is a good time to jump in?

I think we are working on that meow. Either some sithly being will talk to Gabe on the Volcano world or else I'll broadcast a distress call by someone via civilian airways

Forget the new fleet rules.
Bring your whole fleet as it was on the old site. Chances are by the end of the scenario you may have lost enough ships to fit into the new point system, or if not you can hand the spares over to anybody who needs to make up their losses.
As for showing up, we got a couple more baddies on the way, then the Imperial Fleets ought to show up in full force. That way when the fighting starts we'll have our backs to the planet so our ships can't escape. Caught between a rock and a hard hull, as it were. That should also afford the appropriate time for SOS' from the planet to be sent out and responded to.

With my new fleet I have 56 TIE Defenders, they are at Aaghra with my new fleet about to be fitted with Ionite Missiles that the sith envoy (when he posts) will conveniently mention several shipments of missiles delivered to the main loading dock, ready for installation.
I will also be entering the fray with some of my Victory Class Star Destroyers which will be canon fodder for the SSD I suppose

When should the IR come to the rescue and slash down the demons with brilliant silver swords?

If our laggers don't start posting by the end of tomorrow, it'd probably be safe for the Imps to start showing up in force. RPs tend to dissolve quickly if they are allowed to stagnate, so best to keep the momentum up. We'll worry about any late comers as it happens. That stuff tends to sort itself out.

Well I think we should give them till friday evening to post... I would like to see a lot of alarm and preparation for a counter attack amongst the IR RPers. I mean... Convening the fleets and recalling warships is going to take time. I think there should be at least a few posts amongst imperial worlds and Imperial RPers detailing their response, their preparation and their angery/emotion/etc regarding this.
Now, if we operate under the "Imperial High Command staged this" and all our fleets are already conveniently assembled by the hyperspace lanes because of "training excercises" then that'd be fine too. But some general disbelief amongst the NPCs and PCs that do not know about this would be great to see. I myself have 3 posts on Aaghra that have alluded to, and now finally confirmed Gabe's involvement, knowledge and scheming that has brought his fleet together and prepared to counter attack
Also, I have spoken with Talon in chat and we will be requesting Darth Andeddu's tomb as a temporary RP location

What do you NOE peeps think about this sort of becoming a siege scenario? Since the planetary shield is up you start landing ground forces to breach the shield and disable the shield generator? Or are you all more wanting to do just fleet stuff?

The cake is a lie...
So thats over 100 okay. There were some inflatable SSD patent things on the other site but I cant find it. We inflate them and put one starfighter in them each and have it jump to Prakith just to see the guys there shit there pants. Of course the things are rubber and wont last but hey everything nneeds comical relief, plus we can load em up with explosives. Use the 181st as it would tie in with something else I am working on.

I'm gonna attack the city with smaller ships, after I attack, you tell me if your shields are still up, EMP's and Ionite's up the wazoo. and a few void-7's just to shake things up a bit. lol, see what i did there?

I was thinking instead of a siege sort of scenario, we could maybe do it in stages. Like a pocket war, it could go something like:
Since Dragus' and Bacca's fleets have already popped up on different sides of the planet, it could be said that that is the OE's strategy for this battle is to come in at different locations so they can attack the planet from different angles. So the fleets that come later will do the same. While the IR is scrambling to assemble its forces, the Order can swoop in and take the lightly defended Prak City while keeping their fleets spread out so they can effectively jam communications and keep anyone from escaping to get word out (even though it inevitably will) about the invasion.
After securing the city, the OE send their people to the Tomb to do the work they are really there to do. There they confront the Imperial Knights and soldiers guarding the tombs.
Back in orbit, knowing we are out gunned, instead of trying to engage each fleet directly we target and outnumber one and eliminate it in order to diminish the enemy numbers before the final confrontation with the rest of the OE fleets.
We could then use the time it takes the other fleets to reach our position to not only destroy one fleet, but also deploy ground forces to liberate Prak City in a short but bloody battle in the city.

I for one will only be space battling, only upto 4 NPC's making it to the tomb, maybe. I see no need to drop armies to sack a temple/tomb. just a handful of Sith really. Thou if others wish to land troops, they can.
