The Hangar Bay of the Dark Diamond Palace is often used for visiting ambassadors to the city of Malidris in addition to personal and commercial use of palace residents. Security is very high, here, and clearance is required before landing.

Angel walked toward his new personal ship, the Skydance; it's certainly been awhile since he's flown outta town. He used the Force to fumble around the inside of his ship from the outside, to find the switch to lower his ramp... where was that secret place? No, not the hyperdrive. No, not his slumbering droid assistant... ah, there! He tugged on the lever, and the ramp began to descend. In his absence, he made sure no one could take advantage of his ship, so he used that failsafe lest something should happen.
As he walked in, power automatically turned on; awakening Geenine, his outsource work droid assistant and ship gatekeeper.
Lord Angel, it's certainly been awhile. Was your slumber productive?
Yes. Yes it has. Now plot a course for Hoth. There is a crystal I want to obtain from there.
With that, the "Skydance" lifted off from the Palace Hangar, accelerated past the open bay doors and shot towards the atmosphere, as Angel sat down comfortably in his seat and Geenine piloted him up, up and away.

Upon entering the hangar bays, resistance against the First Order occupation had increased significantly.
Apparently the Iridonians really didn't take kindly to a foreign power invading their planet unannounced. Though Viox hadn't had much of a choice, considering the absence of Count Kamy and the abrupt firing upon on orbit. The Iridonians weren't messing around.
Savage strode across the bay, unhindered, as the Sith Troopers that weren't needed to keep the plaza outside the Palace secured, poured in and took up defensive positions. Laser fire lanced back and forth across the bay as the resistance fighters fought tooth and nail for every inch they gave to the First Order. Major Kage was busily calling in support, as he knew they would need it if they were to secure the hangar bays and begin securing the Palace. Savage crossed the bay without incident and proceeded into the Grand Halls. From there he would head to the main turbo lift and take it up to the Golden Room where he would deal with the leader of the planet and end this conflict once and for all.

With the arrival of two squads of Shadow Stormtroopers, the battle that was raging within the Hangar Bay was graciously tipping in the favor of the First Order. With the main access into the hangar sealed, due to the actions of Lord Savage, the reinforcements were forced into choke points, which allowed Major Kage and his troops to funnel the enemy in. After another twenty minutes, the Hangar was secured and all secondary entrances were being guarded by troopers. One of the troopers reported to Major Kage.
Sir! The Hangar Bay is secured. The surrounding plaza around the Palace is also secured and resistance within the Palace and ultimately the city itself seems to be lessening.
Kage nodded and dismissed the trooper. He was grateful that he had this assignment. Because the other option sucked more. Command Sergeant Sinclair was tasked with breaking the Iridonian Resistance's grip on the Starport. And with rumors of a V-150 Planet Defender active, the Void couldn't risk being fire support for the mission. Which made fighting for the Starport much more difficult. Kage set up patrols within the hangar bays as another few teams were selected to search every nook and cranny within the hangar for stragglers.

As Alex entered the hanger bay, he noticed that the enemy troopers were patrolling the hanger. Getting through here would be slightly more difficult than entering the hanger. Alex easily evaded the first three patrols, while ducking in and out of cover with relative ease. Alex paused behind two large fuel tanks as the nearby patrol found a group of resistance pilots. The group of pilots made a ran for it, while the patrol took off after them, Alex took this moment to move on. The fleeing pilots were gunned down near the hanger bay's entrance, where Alex had been mere minutes ago. Alex saw that the troopers that were guarding the secondary turbo lift were not that, they must be investigating a nearby area for activity of movement. Alex not wanting to miss his chance of getting access to the turbo lift decided to go for it. Alex made it into the turbo lift and closed the the door just before the guards had returned. He pressed the button on the control pad and sent the lift up to the Grand halls. He could sense that was where his master was dueling the darkness and soon he would help defeat it.

Iridonia - Malidris. Dark Diamond Palace - Hangar Bay.
As soon as Commodore King's notification came through, Savage was already making his way to the Hangar Bay of the palace. Garbed in the traditional robes of the Sith, Savage and his Honor Guard escort, the Shadowtroopers Colonel Locklear and Captain Rix, the trio made their way into the hangar bay and waited. This was a big step for the Sith'ari. The first visiting outsider to Iridonia since the regime change from the old and decaying Iridonian Empire to the youthful and prospering First Order. And with Clan Savage claiming the Iridonian Throne, things were certainly starting to come together nicely. Hopefully the next phase of his plan would come together as nicely as everything else had. Provided he played his cards right, things would go exactly as he had planned.

The Lambda-Class shuttle descended through the cloud cover towards the walled city of Malidris. As the shuttle approached the hangar bay of the Dark Diamond Palace, Akrak felt an unnatural ripple within the Force. Something was very off here. He couldn't sense it from orbit, due to the activity of the planet and the life force of it's people. But now that he was practically in the hangar bay of the palace, he could sense the oddity very clearly. He supposed he'd find out soon enough. As the shuttle touched down, Akrak rose from his seat and walked towards the ramp. As it hissed open, Akrak strode down, robes billowing out around him as he walked towards the trio waiting for him. Two Shadowtroopers in personalized armor as a Zabrak. Not surprising, considering where he was. As Akrak looked upon the Zabrak, he felt as though his eyes were playing tricks on him. Shadowy flames seemed to be emanating from the Zabrak. And the unnatural ripple was originating from him...curious indeed. As Akrak approached, he inclined his head respectfully.
"I am Darth Akrak. I have found myself drawn here by the Force for some unknown reason. Perhaps you could shed some clarity on the situation, Sith'ari."
Beneath his helmeted head, Akrak eyed up the Zabrak, trying to figure out why he was giving off such a strange Force signature.

Iridonia - Dark Diamond Palace. Hangar Bay.
Savage sized up the armored being before him as he approached. And in that moment he was almost reminded of his former apprentice, Cain Dracus. Though this sentient seemed to be much more imposing. As he spoke, Savage could feel the eyes of the newcomer focused on him. With a slight smirk, Savage spoke.
"Lord Akrak. You have been drawn here because I have willed it. I've recently decided to bring about the rebirth of something long forgotten. Walk with me."
Motioning for the armored Sith to follow him, Savage began walking back towards the lifts that would take him up to the Golden Room.
"There are a great many mysteries, surrounding me. You were drawn here due to the anomaly I present. Which may or may not be explained in due time. For the time being, all you need to know is that I possess a power far greater than most Sith out there. But that is not the reason I wanted Sith and other like-minded dark siders here."
Pausing, Savage thought about how best to pitch his offer to the large Sith.
"For too long, we have succumbed to infighting and deceit. Treachery among our very own ranks has always been our downfall. If history has taught us anything, it's this; we Sith are incredibly stupid in how we go about our business. I intend to change that. I have an offer for you, Lord Akrak. I am in the process of rebuilding a lost faction from several millenia ago and I am in need of capable and strong allies. Allies that I can trust. Allies that are loyal to my cause. Tell me, are you one such candidate, Akrak?"
Stopping at the lift doors, Savage turned to face the armored Sith. His fierce yellow eyes scanning the cold, carved features of Akrak's helmet. This was going to end one of two ways. Akrak would join him or he would refuse. If that were the case, Savage would have to resort to more...manipulative methods to gain the Sith's allegiance. Hopefully this Sith was smart enough to not force Savage's hand here. Willing allies were much more cooperative than slaves.

As the Sith'ari motioned for him to follow, he fell into step. Hands held loosely at his sides, he listened intently to the Zabrak as he spoke.
Power may have been something the Zabrak possessed, but there something off about it. Not that it bothered Akrak much. Power was something the Sith craved. And it was obviously no different with this one.
As the Zabrak came to a stop outside the lift, he pitched his offer. Akrak snorted in a mixture of amusement and disgust.
This Sith'ari certainly was direct about what he wanted. No sweetening the deal to entice Akrak to join, he just laid the offer out there. Knowing this was a risky situation, Akrak mentally reviewed his options. Before he would agree or disagree to anything, there were things to consider.
Shifting slightly, Akrak looked down at the Zabrak, locking eyes with him.
"You certainly are direct with your ambitions and goals, aren't you? What makes you think I'm any different? And why would I join you? Even with the curiousity you present, what is in this arrangement for me?"
These were dangerous questions, to be sure. Akrak knew this, but if he didn't ask them, he'd regret not asking later, should he accept this Zabrak's offer. He carefully eyed the Zabrak, searching for any tells that were indicative of him being pissed about the questions.

Savage smirked as Akrak threw a barrage of questions at him. Normally this would have infuriated him. Normally. Right now, however, Savage burst out laughing. As he finished chuckling at the balls this Sith had to throw quesitons like that around after maybe ten minutes of meeting someone, he spoke.
"You will find that I am very direct with my ambitions and goals, Akrak. I am a Sith. I make no effort to hide what I am and I don't delude myself with the notions that I unbridled power is the only thing I can attain. Don't get me wrong, I will attain the power I seek, but it will not be done alone. That much has been made clear..."
Savage paused, watching the armored Sith.
"Frankly, I don't think you are any different. You are a Sith, and as such, you will only look out for yourself and further your own ambitions...it seems to be hardwired into our very natures. But that seems to be our fatal flaw. We ensure our own goals are met and sacrifice those that could be valuable to our cause. Allies are not something to shy away from. With allies, the impossible suddenly become possible. The unattainable becomes attainable. A brutal cycle, but if a few Sith can break that cycle, perhaps we could crush those who oppose us once and for all..."
Not taking his eyes off of the armored Sith, Savage continued speaking.
"...and you will join me, Akrak. And not purely for the curiosity I represent, but for the gains you stand to make. You stand by me and I ensure my allies are well taken care of. I also have near limitless resources at my disposal, which gives me the advantage over nearly everyone who decides to oppose me. I have the ability to crush them quickly and painlessly, or drag it out and make them suffer for as long as I see fit. I am the High Admiral of the First Order and Sith'ari of Iridonia, after all. I have ships, soldiers and acolytes at my fingertips. All willing to die to further my cause. So think very carefully on your decision, Akrak. There are two possible outcomes here..."
Savage turns to summon the lift. As the doors slide open, Savage steps in. Calling over his shoulder, he said his final piece, he would linger a few moments longer, just to hear Akrak's reaction, then he would be whisked away to the Golden Room...
"I will let you decide which outcome is most beneficial to you...because as of right now, you are merely a stranger trespassing in my palace. I'm sure the galaxy wouldn't miss one less Sith...it certainly lessens the competition for me..."
Savage chuckled as the words escaped his lips. Was he now calling the shots? Yes. Was he now giving the Sith that had just appeared on his doorstep an ultimatum? Yes. Did he care if it pissed the armored being off at all? No. As he so pointedly indicated, this was his territory. Removing someone such as Akrak would be little effort here.

Akrak simple stared after listening to the Sith'ari speak.
The audacity! Not only did this Zabrak draw him here, he just threatened him. Incredible! And unbelieveable.
Without moving, Akrak watched the Zabrak enter the lift.
"Are you threatening me, Sith'ari? I don't take kindly to threats..."
Akrak tensed up, unsure of what was going to happen next. Despite being incredibly arrogant, this Sith'ari was correct. There were only two options available to him right now. And at this point, it could still go either way for him.

Savage turned to face the emotionless and ominous mask of Akrak. A wicked grin split his face.
"I don't make threats, I make promises...and I promise you this: You so much as even entertain the idea of drawing your blade on me here and I will bury you where you stand. Of that, you can be certain."
The grin faded from Savage's face, leaving a serious expression as the doors closed and the lift rose to the Golden Room...

Anger seethed within every fibre of Akrak's very being. He wanted to break the Zabrak, but he checked the thought. As the lift doors closed, Akrak balled up his fists. Think better of slamming his fist into the lift doors, he instead unclenched his fists and summoned the adjacent lift to the hangar bay level. Once the doors parted, Akrak stepped into the lift. Obviously the conversation would continue wherever the Sith'ari had vanished to. As much as Akrak wanted to beat the Zabrak's face into a bloody pulp, it was not in his best interest right now. Unfortunately, the Sith'ari managed to manipulate the situation to serve his goals. Akrak found this incredibly distasteful, but he admired the finesse in which it was carried out. Call anyone listening to Iridonia, on your own home turf, make them an offer they literally cannot refuse, threaten to kill them in some sort of gruesome fashion, then wait for them to come crawling back to accept. Quite ingenious, actually. Most Sith would have at least made an attempt to glaze their attempt as blackmail...not this one, it seemed. Akrak stood in the lift, willing himself to calm down before he faced the Zabrak once more.

* Having made the journey planet side with relative ease, the Errant Fyre lands in the hanger bay. Nestling down onto the ground, the ships entry hatch opens and extends outwards. Thrakk exits his ship walking with and easy stride through the hangar bay, and enters a turbo lift. He didn't need directions, for the force guided him. *

As the shuttle eased into the hangar, Zitum and his guard prepared to exit the craft. As the ramp lowered, the group strode down it, looking for all the world like the us dodnt belong there. Zitum was bewildered by his surroundings. There appeared to be a type of strange, tri-winged shuttle that was reminiscent of his own transport (this is of course a lambda-class shuttle). There also appeared to be odd fighters all around. With their central bubble cockpit and quorum triangular wings, they looked like a variation of the Mark IV Space Superiorty Fighters used by himself. Brushing all of this off, he and his guard began striding up the center of the hangar and stopped at the entrance to the palace proper. He knew that it would be necessary to show mannerisms if he was to impress this empress. With all of the similarities, he privately wondered if this was a successor state to the Sith Empire. If it was, then he had come to the right place. These thoughts floated through his head as waited for someone to come to the door, as if they were worth meeting, they would sense his presence in the Force.

Having made the newly arrived Sith wait long enough, Sith'ari Savage himself, flanked by his newly armored Shadowtroopers (clad in Praetorian Guard Armor), entered the hangar bay. While is guard were sporting armor polished to a sheen, the tattooed Zabrak merely wore black robes, trimmed with crimson and gold, his clan's colours. He approached the red-skinned Sith.
"I apologize for the wait. It seems my Empress has fallen ill and was unable to meet with you..."
His voice was cordial, but cold. Almost as if meeting every possibly important newcomer was beneath him. He eyed up the red-skinned Sith and his guard. Out-dated and archaic. Knowing his history within the Sith quite well, he recognized the uniforms from Valkorion's Sith Empire. This could become a very fortuitous meeting after all.
"What is it that bring you here...?"
Savage allowed the sentence to trail off and he glanced at the Sith pureblood. He couldn't sense much from the being before him. It seemed he kept his thoughts well guarded...

Gavin flew over the city of Malidris, bringing his ship down low and to a slower speed. It was quite the view from above. He hoped that with time, he’d come to know it, the people. He couldn’t help but wonder if he’d find a place to stay for once. It had been so long since he called a place home. So many things he had come to witness over the course of his life, empires and orders coming and going. But with those he had aided, he never stuck around, merely doing his part until there was no true need for his knowledge and abilities, as others had come to fill those roles. In the end, he didn’t feel as if he belonged with them. Then again, it might have just been him and his neutral nature.
Shaking the thoughts from his head, he focused his mind on what lay in front of him. The Dark Diamond Palace was just ahead. Within it, he could feel the power of the darkness stirring. Above it all, he could make out the presence of one who was seeped within that darkness, even at this distance. Powerful people resides on this world. It made him wonder again if he’d truly have purpose here. Either way, he would gaze upon the foundations of this darkness before departing.
Bringing the ship down to a creep, the YT-1930 passed through the opening and into the palace’s hangar. Following the directions from the hangar personnel, he navigated the ship to a vacant spot that had been assigned to him. Setting the ship down with experienced grace, Gavin began to power down the systems, one by one. Once he finished the task, he waited for a moment, resting his head in his right hand, rubbing his chin and mouth. He needed to collect himself, gather some semblance of thought. Clearly, this man was a Sith and it was clear that the darkness he felt was a forming Sith order or empire. But without understanding, there was nothing to go with. He’d just have to be open minded with what came.
Proceeding from the cockpit, he made his way to his room. Resting in a large case was a collection of six lightsabers and a saberstaff. He grabbed five of them, placing two into holsters on each pant leg, one on each side of his belt, and one in a spot on the backside of his belt. He didn’t expect trouble, nor wish for any but it was always good to be prepared. Grabbing his trenchcoat, he put it on as he left his room and made his way down the boarding ramp. Waiting at the base, he ran a hand through his slicked back, sandy blonde hair. The power of this place was growing, it made him curious if they had been out on any excursions yet.

As the Grand Moff and Admiral descended the ramp, Viox, flanked by his Praetorian Armored Shadowtroopers, approached. The Zabrak Sith'ari was dressed in formal robes. Black, trimmed with gold and crimson accents, sporting the Clan Savage Crest on the chest, the First Order insignia on the left shoulder and the Blackguard emblem on the right shoulder. As he approached the Chiss, he inclined his head respectfully.
"Grand Moff. This is an unexpected surprise. What brings you out to my corner of the galaxy?"
Normally Savage would be bored with dealing with visitors, but this was different. Vlusu was an Admiral and fellow Grand Moff within the First Order. Formalities needed to be followed, after all.
