Hey there not so friendly neighbourhood Sith Warlord!
The freeze should be over soon, but as we are still seeing people who were active RPers on the old forums only newly joining these ones, we are going to wait a little longer to let them get settled in. After all, things are a bit different round these parts. But rest assured, we will be making an announcement as soon as it happens.
And just between you, me and whoever else reads this, as a Norse God I am kind of looking forward to seeing some war round these parts. It is called Jedi VS Sith after all

The freeze on planetary take-overs will officially thaw out on Saturday 14 June 2013. From that day on, all the normal rules and regulations regarding planetary control, invasion, abandonment etc will come back into effect. I think the answer has to be no, since those are also actions which a defender, if present, would actively try to counter, and which would give you an advantage once the freeze is lifted.

when I say scout, I mean a probe droid a la Hoth. or even place a Spy Satellite in high orbit.
I knew I was pushing the ground base.
