Hapes
Canon History:
Hapes was the homeworld of the Hapans, a Human race, and the administrative capital of the Hapes Consortium. Surrounded by shimmering nebulae, and with seven moons in the sky after sunset, Hapes never knew the darkness of true night, and the Hapan people had relatively poor night-vision.
Only a few small, neat cities were necessary to cater for the needs of the state bureaucracy and the Consortium's commercial and legal institutions, and much of the planet was an unspoilt wilderness of broad oceans, snow-peaked mountains and lush primeval forest, where tightly-controlled commercial fisheries and game-preserves were the major focus of Human activity.
Jedi v Sith History:
For most of it's JvS history, Hapes has been loosely associated with Republic-type factions such as the IFA, UFFW, and GCCS. After a period of significant neglect and economic isolation, Hapes was briefly occupied by the Sith under the New Order of the Eye banner. Under Sith rule, many of the corrupt political leaders which had paralyzed the Hapan people were forcibly removed. More recently, as the Sith turned their eyes elsewhere, a blood-less coup by Hapan loyalists under Hapan Royal Navy commander Willis Djo managed to overthrow Sith rule, and restore a rightful heir to the throne of Hapes as Queen Mother.
Lead by Willis Djo as Lord Protector until the young Queen Mother Emelie Ka comes of age, the Hapans plan to rejoin the Galactic Republic, and leverage the Republic's military needs as a source of income to rebuild their homeworld.

Kashyyyk
:: ******Kashyyyk, also known as Wookiee Planet C, Edean, G5-623, and Wookiee World, was a Mid Rim planet. It was the lush, wroshyr-tree-filled home world of the Wookiees. It was a member of the Galactic Republic and the New Republic. It was also enslaved by the Galactic Empire in between. With no axial tilt and a perfectly circular orbit, Kashyyyk experiences one continuous season. It was composed of a molten metallic core, rocky mantle, and a silicate rock crust. The planet had four continents, making up 40% of the surface, which were mostly covered in lush, tree-filled forests, although the planet did have a small amount of desert region in the rain-shadow of its small mountain ranges. A tropical ocean belt contained archipelagoes and long coral reefs. In addition, a few sandy beaches could be found along the shores of its oceans. Kashyyyk's highest peak was Korrokrrayyo Mountain.**

Not updating (other than some minor stuff not currently applicable; some old links were left because there are no equivalents here yet), but submitting the Traveler's Guide from the previous site. Early settled by the Gossam race, it would become a major CIS stronghold during the Clone Wars, and the site of a major battleground. The Twi'lek Jedi Master Aayla Secura was sent here to fight for the Republic, but was later killed during Order 66. The Togruta Jedi Master Shaak Ti would later seek refuge from the Great Jedi Purge on this world, but was defeated by Galen Marek and fell to her death in the sarlacc pit. The Galactic Empire would gain a foothold on the world, and Jabba Desilijiic Tiure briefly set up a cartel upon the world until his fall in 4 ABY. The Empire's rule on the world was later released when the New Republic drove away the Imperial Remnant. Later, Felucia would again undergo a power struggle of Jedi versus Sith, until it came under the influence of Jedi Master Raven Alora, who, along with other Jedi, founded the Felucian Conclave within the Jedi Base originally built by Commander Belac. The world, however, due to its strength in the Force and ever-shifting balance, seemed to continue to be the site of its fair share of struggles with dark forces, such as the being Ramius and later the demon known as The Legion, though both were defeated. Important Landmarks:- The Jedi Base
- Originally built by Commander Belac, the Jedi Base is now host to the Felucian Conclave. The establishment has been populated for some time, and has constantly been rebuilt and remodeled and expanded, always staying up-to-date to accommodate Jedi and guests alike with top-of-the-line facilities, as well as performing the duties required of a Jedi establishment, including training facilities, tranquil environments, living quarters, medical wing, and dining areas.
[li] Kway Teow[/li] - Kway Teow was the capital city on the tropical world of Felucia, during the era of the Clone Wars. During that conflict, Commerce Guild Presidente Shu Mai maintained a secure compound just outside the city borders. Upon arrival on Felucia, Shu Mai landed at an executive landing platform in Kway Teow, from which it was a short speeder ride to her fortified compound. Now, however, it is a free city and still the capital of Felucia.
[li] Niango[/li] - In the final days of the Clone Wars, a mission was led by Jedi General Aayla Secura to destroy a Separatist biomolecule facility situated in the city. This facility was spreading a toxin into the planet's water supply. Secura, along with Barriss Offee and their Padawans, attempted to stop the poison from spreading with the help of CC-5052 and the 327th Star Corps. After the execution of Order 66, the newly-formed Galactic Empire finished the job. Like Kway Teow, it is now a simple city.
[li] The Vanishing Place[/li] - The Vanishing Place was a prison established by the Galactic Empire on Felucia shortly after the end of the Clone Wars. Gilder Varth was interned there before being rescued by the Alderaanian Resistance. Captain Vischera worked there.
[li] Ancient Abyss[/li] - The Ancient Abyss was a sacred sarlacc pit located on the planet Felucia, the largest known sarlacc specimen in the galaxy. At the time of the Galactic Civil War, a Felucian city existed between the teeth and gums that stretched for kilometers around its maw. The tendrils of the sarlacc were so large that they were capable of dragging large beasts such as rancors into the creature's mouth.
[li] Rancor Graveyard[/li] - The Rancor Graveyard was an ancient site on Felucia filled with the bones of dead Rancor creatures. Bail Organa was held here during the Felucian genocide by Maris Brood, who had taken control of the Felucian tribes. The ground around the area was seemingly unstable; when Galen Marek fought a Bull Rancor at the graveyard, he used the force to pick up and drop the rancor, causing the earth to collapse and opening up a large chamber.
[li] Angulus Errae[/li] - A tall, unworldly monolith, cleaving the sky in twain. It permeates the sky and the surrounding lands in darkness, creeping through the soil like a corrupting parasite. It is home to a demon, or a correlation of demons known only as "The Legion." Its very appearance inspires fear and sends chills down the spines of any normal being. And for those brave enough to enter its darkened maw... it beckons them, from one realm to another. Truly, a tower of hell.

==Dantooine==
Dantooine was a pleasant world of grasslands, rivers and lakes. The planet was located in the Raioballo Sector of the Outer Rim at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow, the other endpoint of which was in the Obtrexta Sector, though Dantooine itself was still far removed from most galactic traffic. It hosted a small population spread amongst single-family settlements and small communities with large land holdings. Its sentient population consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari race. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath, and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology by the time of the Galactic Civil War.

-The Jedi Enclave The Jedi Enclave was a secret academy administered by the Jedi Order located on the planet Dantooine. As on Coruscant, Force-sensitive children were trained in the ways of the Force; however, the selection process was more rigorous and only the candidates with the highest potential were admitted. Overseen by a satellite of the Jedi High Council, the Enclave trained many influential Jedi during its centuries of operation, only closing during the Jedi Civil War when the attack on Dantooine by the forces of Darth Malak destroyed the structure. The ruins of this ancient structure have now been converted into a barracks.
-Rakatan Ruins The Rakatan ruins were all that remained of an ancient structure built on Dantooine by the Rakata during the height of their Infinite Empire. The temple itself was built as a monument to the power of the Star Forge, a space station in the Lehon system which could be located using the information stored in a Star Map that was housed inside the temple.
-Imperial Holdings The Imperial Outpost on Dantooine was a military outpost established by the Galactic Empire shortly after the Battle of Yavin, when a permanent garrison was established on the planet.
-Crystal Cave The Crystal Cave was located on the southeast end of the Khoonda plains in the Sandral fields on the world of Dantooine. The Jedi Order, which discovered the caves circa 4,016 BBY when Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas established the Jedi Enclave there, was given sole access to the world's wealth of precious crystals which were vital to the construction of the Order's lightsabers.=Planetary Fleet=Five Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers Five Carrack-class light cruisers Ninety-five ARC-170 starfighters

-Tatooine-- Tatooine Canon History-For a non-cannon history, read the JvS Archives =Description=Tatooine was a desert world and the first planet in the binary Tatoo star system. It was part of the Arkanis sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It was inhabited by poor locals who mostly farmed moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing. The planet was on the 5709-DC Shipping Lane, a spur of the Triellus Trade Route, which itself connected to the Sisar Run. The planet was not far from the Corellian Run. It had its own navigation system. However, it would still play a role in galactic events, serving as the home of Anakin Skywalker. It was here that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn recognized Anakin's potential to become a Jedi and where he introduced him to Obi-Wan Kenobi, his future master and mentor. Tatooine was also the home of Anakin's son, Luke, where he lived until his early adulthood. Tatooine is currently considered a Blue Light Planet and will observe the following rule-set:1) Blue light badges denote planets that offer open and free IC interaction between players, unhindered by the TLS. Individuals that write on such planets accept that the planetary badge takes precedence over their personal badge. An "anything goes" atmosphere is to be accepted as the status quo on Blue Light planets and player death, robbery, violence, and any conceivable interaction spontaneously occurring between individuals are all understood to be permissible. 2) On the planetary scale, anything goes - IE, players can travel wherever they wish at their own peril, or attack / invade (on a small individual scale) what they wish to on the planet. HOWEVER, in order to keep massive abuse from factions obtaining as many blue light planets as they can - on the premise that these worlds are now "open" for attack - planetary invasions of a planet must be PMed and talked out before hand with the planetary stewards as a safe guard against potential abuse. 3) The Blue Light designation does NOT mean a total reversal of the rules of the site that are in place. The Natural laws in their entirety with the exception of the TLS will still be actively in effect on Blue Light planets. GMing, PGing, and other violations of the Natural Laws will be treated the same as it would on any other planet. 4) The Blue Light designation does NOT mean closed or semi planned SL's are not permitted on planets. However, it is understood that while a semi planned SL's beginning and end can be set by the party in question; should an individual wish to interact with said semi closed party, they may do so provided their interaction does not hinder the parties ability to achieve their goals within their story. Planetary controllers may elect to set their own rules on what type of closed SL's are permitted on the planets they act as steward for.

No major content changes. Traveller's Guide content beneath the break. Yavin IV in Canon on WookieepediaYavin IV is one of three habitable moons orbiting the gas giant Yavin. Many thousands of years ago, the moon was a Sith world, where the likes of Naga Sadow, Freedon Nadd, and Exar Kun made their strongholds: the Massassi Temples. The small, relatively innocuous moon became famous as the site of the Battle of Yavin, where the Rebel Alliance, their headquarters based inside the Great Temple, achieved their first major victory against the Galactic Empire; a young X-Wing pilot and Jedi hopeful named Luke Skywalker destroyed the first Death Star, ending the superweapon's brief but devastating campaign. Now, the Great Temple on the moon of Yavin IV houses the Jedi Praxeum, a Jedi Academy first started by Luke Skywalker in 11 ABY. The Praxeum was rebuilt and reopened under the leadership Jedi Master Ander Tagira in the years after the Yuuzhan Vong war, remaining under his administration for some time. After Master Tagira departed the Praxeum, the leadership responsibilities for the Jedi Temple were taken over by the Yavin IV Jedi Council, and is now run by the resident Jedi Masters of the Yavin Praxeum under the leadership of the Jedi High Council. The terrain of the moon itself is mostly covered by thick, wild, and untamed forests, with a variety of flora and - often predatory - fauna. Dotted throughout one region of forest are the Massassi Temples, the most noteworthy being the Great Temple that houses the Jedi Praxeum of Yavin IV. Other Massassi Temples of interest include the Temple of Exar Kun, which houses a small, secure research post again run by the Jedi Praxeum, and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster. A river passes through the Massassi Temple region, flowing between the Great Temple and many of the other noteworthy Temples, including the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster, and is crossable on foot at a few locations where there are wide but shallow fords. Other locations of note include the Massassi Arena, used occasionally as a training location by the Jedi. The forests are broken by large semi-volcanic mountains in places, and there are six interconnected oceans and a large landlocked sea across the planet. There are no cities on Yavin IV, nor are there any sizable military outposts outside of the Great Temple. Dotted throughout the landscape in the 100km area surrounding the Great Temple are a number of small settlements set up by various groups of people. With a total population numbering less than five hundred across all the settlements, they can be described as villages or, at best, very small towns. The jungle moon of Yavin IV is accompanied by twenty-five other moons which orbit the gas giant, Yavin Prime. The other two habitable moons of these twenty-six natural satellites are the eighth and thirteenth moons.
The Great Temple, home of the Jedi Praxeum The Jedi Praxeum of Yavin IV is one of the longest standing and most significant Jedi installations in the Galaxy. Rebuilt following the destruction of the Great Temple during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Yavin IV Jedi Praxeum has grown and evolved greatly in its time, developing into one of the cornerstones of the Jedi Order, and the permanent home to over three hundred Jedi. Many of the most prolifically significant and successful Jedi of the modern age have trained at the Praxeum at some point or another, and its tutors are recognised as knowledgeable and wise Jedi Instructors. Led and guided by the resident masters of Yavin IV, who themselves follow the guidance of the Jedi High Council, the Yavin IV Praxeum is perhaps the premier Jedi training facility in the Galaxy. Its training includes all aspects of the Jedi, with tutors specialising in every school of Jedi expertise. The Jedi Praxeum has extensive Archives, with access to the Holonet and a direct link to the Archives of Coruscant's Jedi Temple. The Jedi Praxeum also conducts research and training exercises in the Temple of Exar Kun and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster, and makes use of the ancient Massassi Arena to train Jedi in various physical skills and combat techniques from time to time. Students are housed in one of two sets of barracks on levels one and two of the Praxeum. Jedi Masters usually have their own two-room quarters, with ensuite bathing and refresher facilities, whereas Jedi Knights and Padawans usually have a large single room arrangement with ensuite facilities, and Jedi Initiates and Younglings often bunked up two to a room. Although the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce is based in orbit, the Praxeum's security needs are primarily handled by the Jedi themselves. The Temple itself is defended by an Energy Shield that protects it from orbital attacks. Only three of the twenty-six moons are inhabitable, with Yavin VIII and Yavin XIII also capable of supporting life. Very few entry vectors allow ships to drop out directly on top of Yavin IV, due to the presence of the other moons and the gas giant's gravity well covering the majority of approach vectors, acting as a natural defence for the Jedi Praxeum - ships are forced to drop out of Hyperspace and approach from some distance, often circumnavigating the gas giant or having to weave between the outermost moons. Only someone extremely familiar with the system, with up to date navigation data, can leave Hyperspace close to the fourth moon. Upon entering the region around Yavin IV, usually, the most obvious things to spot would be the Faction command ship for the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce; the 19km Mraz, an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught. In orbit of Yavin IV, Yavin Station holds position immediately above the Great Temple. At over 4000 meters, this Yavin Station is a clear central hub for traffic in the system. Surrounding the station, above the moon, is an assortment of ships of the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce. Please read the Defence and Traffic details further down. A typical view upon entering orbit over Yavin IV As home to one of the largest Jedi Factions in JvS, Yavin IV sees most, if not all, types of Roleplaying. However, there are some preferences that are insisted upon, as Yavin IV - and the Praxeum in particular - seeks to harbour a friendly, creative, and enjoyable roleplaying community. Types of RP encouraged here:- IC Training: The Jedi Praxeum is one of the largest Jedi training facilities in the Galaxy. As such, we actively encourage players to come to the Praxeum and roleplay as either a student or tutor.- Long-Term Pre-arranged RP: A core part of the Yavin IV RP involves Long Term or Pre-arranged RP Arcs, including ongoing arcs run by the Praxeum's leading writers. Although involvement in the majority of RPs are voluntary, Pre-arranged RPs take precedence here, and we insist that you take heed of RP events on going and do not hinder their progression. We actively encourage people to contact the leaders/organisers of pre-arranged RP events and join in the RPs, though please take care not to interrupt RPs they may be closed or private. If in doubt, contact the writers involved in an RP you wish to join.- Duels and Fight Scenes: Welcomed on Yavin IV by writers OOC, even if IC, violence is discouraged. Although welcome, please refrain from doing so within the Jedi Praxeum group pages unless it is a part of a pre-arranged RP or a sparring session, as the Jedi would not allow a fight to just break out within its halls without stepping in, and many of the RPs inside the Praxeum are planned RPs that shouldn't be disrupted. If you would like to organise a duel within the Praxeum, and the realistic response of Praxeum security, please contact one of Yavin IV's head writers to arrange something.- Starfighter Engagements: A key element in the Yavin IV RP is our resident elite Jedi Starfighter Squadron, Dragon Squadron. We are, therefore, actively seeking RPs that can involve the Dragons. To RP with the the Squadron, please PM the three commanding officers of Dragon Squadron, Dav Man'Sell, Jago Pulastra, and Ronan Starflare. The Squadron is a Player Character/Major NPC Squadron, and membership to the Squadron is by invitation only from the leading members of the Squadron; when vacancies are available, we will be on the lookout for writers who write Jedi Pilot characters in or around Yavin IV whom we feel fit with the group's style. - Other (Non-fleet/troop battle) Combat Scenarios: We are also always willing to set up battles, conflicts, and contests of various kinds. We welcome people to provide villains for us to defeat or missions for our Jedi to complete, and would love to hear, OOC, from anyone who would like to write with the Jedi here.- Reactive or Spur-of-the-Moment RP: Welcome and encouraged, but anything that will involve conflict with the defence forces or residents, injury to any resident player character, or anything beyond minor/superficial damage to the locations present, must be discussed OOC with the necessary players VIA PM first. Please bear in mind, when RPing within the Jedi Praxeum group boards, or on the Great Temple threads that these locations are a major Jedi facility, and contain a large number of NPC Jedi at all times.- Fleet/Troop Battles: We ask that anyone wishing to engage in any kind of blockade or combat action against the Praxeum or the forces defending it contact the head writers first VIA PM and discuss this OOC. The Praxeum is home to a number of major long-term and pre-planned arcs, and these take precedence over any competitive play, so combat of this kind will only be welcomed once an OOC agreement of some kind has been made. - OOC Discussion: Absolutely forbidden on all Yavin IV boards. Instead, please use PMs, or the designated OOC boards.
- Voiding RPs: Whilst we accept that sometimes it is necessary to do so, consistency of RP is very important to writers on Yavin IV, and Voiding RPs is not liked or desired by the resident writers. Voids must be mutually agreed upon with the resident writers before they are permitted, and they should be handled delicately and without OOC spamming of the IC boards.
The nature of the writing team on Yavin IV means that we place a strong, dedicated emphasis on IC consistency and sensibility, and also on pre-planned or at least roughly outlined RPs. This means that we will make decisions based on what a Jedi would do, and what our Jedi characters believe is the right course of action, and simple outright logic about what would happen in reality. This may include, sometimes, refusing to permit access to certain areas, or refusing business deals, military alliances, and other, similar things. Please be assured that this is usually due to IC character beliefs and Jedi principles or to maintain consistency of storyline, and not any kind of OOC reaction to any individual. The only OOC element that will affect IC decisions will be whether or not we believe that any given action or RP is beneficial to the desires and needs of the Yavin IV writing group as a whole. This may sometimes mean that we will refuse to partake in an RP that we don't want to be involved in - however, we are always willing to negotiate and discuss ideas with other writers, so please don't be turned off if our initial response is that we do not want any particular RP on our planet. We will always work to figure something out. Our primary interests, in this regard, are outlined in this Traveler's Guide entry. Whole fleets can often be reacted to with extreme suspicion, or can cause unnecessary misunderstandings, so we encourage visitors to leave combat-fleets at home when making visits to the Yavin system. Non-hostile ships within the Yavin System will always be protected and assisted by the Jedi Peacekeeping Taskforce should they come under attack or get in trouble whilst in our space. Escorts are also available upon request. With the defences available from the Jedi Forces, this should alleviate any need for visitors to bring their own fleets into the system. We will meet with and discuss situations with other Force Users, Mandalorians, or any other non-Jedi, non-Light Side group or individual, though we tend to prefer to do so 'by appointment'. Please send a PM before you come to talk to us. Smaller groups of people or individuals travelling alone, such as smugglers, traders, and similar sorts are welcome and encouraged to come land on Yavin Station to make trade, meet people, or resupply. The military forces that run Yavin Station do not mind trading and business being conducted there, and most people will be allowed to go about their business unhindered, so long as the trade and business conducted are not illegal or morally unethical. Yavin Station contains a number of retail outlets, entertainment venues, and consumer services, as well as the Onyx Dragon, a famous Cocktail Lounge and bar known for stocking exotic and rare beverages. Visitors to Yavin Station seeking to use these services are always welcomed; both private craft and publicly used transports regularly dock at the station. Regardless of how it might be justified by other groups, we will not ally with or befriend Dark-Jedi, Sith, or anyone who engages in 'Evil' acts that wildly disagree with the Jedi principles of the Yavin Jedi. This is a matter of IC principle and dedication to playing a Jedi Order that upholds the principles and attitudes of the Light Side. We welcome newcomers to the game, and are always willing to work with any individual seeking to write in a mutually enjoyable RP. We will always endeavour to get in touch with new arrivals in orbit in some fashion as soon as possible; usually, this is within 24 hours, although sometimes it may take a couple of days due to sometimes casual post rates on the world. We will always endeavour to contact you at least OOC at the first possible opportunity. The Faction leaders at current are Jedi Battlemaster Dav Man'Sell, and Jedi Master Jago Pulastra, who are responsible for the leadership of all activities in the Praxeum and can be asked about any element of the Praxeum's activities. The Academy's teaching staff is headed up by Jedi Master Zuli Madoon, making him a good first-stop for anything related to being a student of Yavin IV. Other leading writers include Jedi Master Ronan Starflare, who is one of the primary defenders of the planet and one of the three joint Commanding Officers of the Peacekeeping Taskforce, Jedi Master Vesten Kor-taan, and Jedi Knight Joshua Kierra-Solo. In orbit of the moon, Yavin Station serves as the primary control point for all traffic in the system. A large Spacestation, it includes vast public hangers and docking facilities, and various trade outlets, shopping precincts, and consumer services. Its primary purpose is as the Headquarters and control centre for Yavin IV's Peacekeeping Taskforce. The station is heavily armed, with concealed fire power matching three Golan III Defence platforms, and holds Geosynchronous orbit over the Massassi Temple region of Yavin IV. There are no other fixed orbital defences, as Yavin Station combines all of the permitted defences into one facility; however the station is often surrounded by the various fleets of the Taskforce, each assigned to the supervision of one of the Jedi based on Yavin. The Faction Command ships is almost always present and is usually the most noticeable of the defences; the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, Mraz. Starfighter Squadrons (usually XJ9 X-Wings, TIE Interceptors, or Series IV E-Wings) engage in frequent patrols of the area. These forces are primarily seen in orbit of Yavin IV. On the surface, chief defence comes from the Praxeum's defence shield, which is strong enough to withstand substantial orbital assault and spreads thirteen kilometres in every direction from the Praxeum, a pair of V-150 Anti-orbital Ion Cannons, and groupings of Anti-Aircraft flak pod towers, all concealed in the area around the Jedi Praxeum. There is also natural defence to be found in the thick forests, dangerous wildlife, and difficult terrain, which will significantly hinder the progress of any external ground travelling forces. Friendly military forces are quite sparse on the surface of the planet themselves under normal circumstances, with only a small defence allocation normally stationed within the Praxeum, the Temple of Exar Kun, and the Temple of the Blueleaf Cluster. The Jedi Praxeum itself also has a few extra defence squadrons stationed inside the Hangar, piloted by a combination of Jedi and Military pilots, that launch only in the circumstance that attackers make it into the Atmosphere. The biggest defensive challenge faced by any attackers that reach the surface is the presence of so many Jedi, who are generally more than capable of defending themselves and repelling any attacks. Although a fortress world of the Republic, Yavin IV is sparsely populated. All official representation for the planet is done through the Jedi Praxeum, which is by far the largest community on the planet, and its Jedi are the primary leadership for the planet. The occupants of Yavin Station are primarily members of the Peacekeeping Taskforce military, and are governed according to Military Hierarchy. The Yavin IV Jedi Praxeum is part of the Jedi Order, and as such takes its lead from the High Jedi Council, on which Jedi Masters Jago Pulastra and Dav Man'Sell, both leading Jedi at the Praxeum, hold seats. Yavin IV is also closely affiliated with the Republic as a fortress world, but since it has almost no civilian population, does not hold a seat on the Republic Senate. Ossus was once the birthworld of the Jedi and Gray Jedi Orders, and in roughly 40 ABY, was home to the Jedi once again. after Vongforming JVS 1.0 onward:Jaecyn Tiberius Riddick, a native would be taken from Ossus by the Jedi, after the world was attacked by Sith. He would return, years later, and find, working as the Praxeum's weapons instructor, Devlin Dewe. As a way to ensure Ossus' safety in the future, Jaecyn worked on building up a defense force. Though Ossus was supposed to be a world of peace, Jaecyn saw from his travels that the peace he and his people sought was probably better attained in a force that would essentially be best summed up by the phrase "peace through strength." Jaecyn also struck alliances with people he had met and trusted the most, notably the Corellians, the Ra Empire, and the Wayland Crew, though the Ra Empire would eventually fall apart. The Galactic Fleet Alliance crippled Jaecyn's plans for a tight ship-based defense, but he eventually saw it as an opportunity to upgrade his defense force, taking into account the ways of battle his people had learned over the millenia. Rules Specific to Ossus:Please use the OoC Discussion board thread or PMs to solve any conflicts. The public thread is better because it offers visibility for all parties concerned and easier if moderation from Whills or GRPC Councilors is required (but hopefully, that won't be needed). Much of the defense force that is and will be protecting Ossus will be a mix of canon and "fanon" material. Jaecyn's flagship is just such a case of "fanon" technology. Ossus' ground based military is made up of Ysanna, since they, naturally, make up practically all of the planet's population. They are Force sensitive as well and their Force sensitivity has to be recognized. Anyone who brings slaves to Ossus will, by law, forfeit ownership immediately, and any slaves that are fortunate to make it to Ossus are automatically free people, the same as those brought to Ossus by their masters. ADARLON LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION Adarlon is a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories in the Minos Cluster / Adarlon System. Being on the Rimma Trade Route, the area attracts a large amount of visitors which helped Adarlon grow into one of the galaxy's most prominent centres for tourism with a booming entertainment industry.
It was here on Adarlon that the holographic medium was developed as an entertainment staple. Music from Adarlon became known as highly sophisticated: Adarlonwas home to one of the most famous opera companies in the galaxy, and the famous opera singer Neile Janna. As Adarlon prospered, primary industry quickly became focused on tourism, and a warm climate makes the various resorts and parks a favorite vacationgetaway. Although mainly rugged and mountainous the planet offers breathtaking views from resorts built into the highest mountain peaks. With a breathable, temperate climate and the intense scenery a healthy 20 million individuals currently make this planet their home.

You will encounter different individuals from all over the galaxy and all walks of life and government affiliations as Adarlon is a popular tourist attraction. Mist GovernmentLocated at the heart of Umgul City, City Hall is the base of the Mist Government Headquarters. Founded by Raan Jade shortly after the fall of the New Republic, The Mist Government is Umgul's primary political party. All major decisions regarding the planet are planned and concluded there. The Offices of the Senator, Vice-Governor, Chief Financial Officer, Master Architect , the Attorney General and other members of the Government are all located in this facility. The Intelligence Department Building stands opposite the Mist Government HQ and Department of Military Operations, where the offices of the Director of Intelligence and High Marshall are found, respectively. Umgul houses a new Jedi Order following the request of Senator Raan Jade. The Mist Order has taken the place of the former Emerald Order that was once based on the planet. As all Jedi Orders, it is based on the values of the Light side, strictly following a certain code of conduct. Their main purpose is to train those who are attuned to the Force how to control their abilities.
All Force-sensitive entities are welcome to follow Jedi tutelage. There are still only a few Councilors but all are well versed in Saber Forms, Dueling and use of Force Abilities. All apprentices receive appropriate training based on their respective styles followed by instilling the knowledge required to guide them along the right path to becoming productive Jedi and the protectors of Peace.
Depending on the area of expertise, Padawans will be placed under the tutelage of specific Jedi Masters based on their availability.
Opinions are frequently encouraged and shared among members of the Mist Order to ensure progression of all students under the Order's care. Overseeing this tradition is the Grandmaster Atlantis Vyridian.
The Order's architecture consists of Sleeping Quarters, Meditation, Dueling and Combat Training chambers. The floors are constantly covered by knee-high mists and hence the origin of the Order's name. There is a special room consisting of a wide variety of crystals kept for the purpose of lightsaber construction. Next to this room lies the Council Meeting Chamber. The Academy is also protected by state of the art security, some areas won't be accessible without clearance from Councilors of the Mist Order.

Player Arrivals:Should you be interested in Umgul, it is best to arrive via the Open Orbit. All players will be welcomed seeing as we are currently neutral and belong to no faction. However, should you wish to arrive in a different manner or, say you wish for your character to originate from Umgul, please inform the main characters in order to avoid hostile interaction. Otherwise, all those who force their way on the planet will be ignored and reported to the Whill Committee. Roleplay and Storyline Preferred:On Umgul, the concerned parties and main characters have concluded that:
- Open RP is welcome, with the player's knowledge that hostile actions will be dealt with in turn.
- Closed RP will be considered. Be sure to discuss it with one of the main characters first. We are trying to ensure a harmonious flow between all the stories involved on the planet.
- Private RP is welcome, but the major characters may or may not participate. Again, it is best you inform them of this factor first.
Types of Story-Lines Encouraged:
- Those who play SLs by ear are welcome. The only exception lies in SLs that involve planetary battles. For the time being, we cannot allow those until the planet has further developed. If you wish to join a SL, please inform the involved parties at the time.
- Planned SL is welcome, as long as the main characters are informed ahead of time.
- Scripted SL is not our preference, but if we are asked via PM and agree to it, we will participate.
Miscellaneous Information:Umgul prefers long-term storylines for the sake of development. As mentioned before, due to the planet's early stages of development, we would prefer to avoid all sorts of planetary battles. Minor battles between characters are not a problem provided that the involved parties agree to it. However, do not misinterpret this as hostility towards Antagonist characters. Simply talk to Raan Jade or the other main characters if you require further assistance or information.
We welcome all types of writers and shall give special attention to those who are new or wish to have longer, more descriptive posts. Be sure to let us know beforehand via PM.
Continuous OOC post on the RP boards will be reasonable cause for suspension from the planet. In the same manner do we discourage constant copy-pasting of previous posts.
Lastly, we strongly encourage patience to those who wish to land on our planet. The average response time can be anywhere between thirty minutes to twelve hours at the most. We understand that real life takes its toll and story-lines may take forever to complete. So if you are the sort of writer who takes their time, please do not feel discouraged to join in. Equally, we would suggest that impatient writers consider other planets. It is every writer's duty to see their SL through unless real life issues cannot permit it. Tatooine was a desert world and the first planet in the binary Tatoo star system. It was part of the Arkanis sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It was inhabited by poor locals who mostly farmed moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing. The planet was on the 5709-DC Shipping Lane, a spur of the Triellus Trade Route, which itself connected to the Sisar Run. The planet was not far from the Corellian Run. It had its own navigation system. However, it would still play a role in galactic events, serving as the home of Anakin Skywalker. It was here that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn recognized Anakin's potential to become a Jedi and where he introduced him to Obi-Wan Kenobi, his future master and mentor. Tatooine was also the home of Anakin's son, Luke, where he lived until his early adulthood. The planet built up a very bad reputation, often being viewed as the cesspool of the galaxy due to the high-level of criminals who could be found onworld. Suggestions and/or rule variations for this Planet:- Tatooine, being Tatooine, has a wide variety of species and cultures coming to and from it, and is well known for being a lawless world. This is much still the case, but please refrain from randomly blowing up buildings . It is of the utmost importance that we make Tatooine a bastion of creative and collaborative writing.
- Tatooine is an open world, meaning there's no need to request clearance to land or anything like that. All police forces are NPCs and are left up to the writers inciting their appearance to control. Considering most police forces are bribed by local crime lords, it is always safe to carry a weapon.
- Mos Eisley and Mos Entha have shields and defenses in case of dire emergency.
- RP planning mostly takes place in private messaging. If you have any questions about Tatooine or wish to start a SL including the locals, please pm any member of the Exchange or Exchequer Australis , who is the leader of the Exchange, or Nartaga who is the leader of the R'Crurak Clan.

of the site that are in place. The Natural laws in their entirety with the exception of the TLS will still be actively in effect on Blue Light planets. GMing, PGing, and other violations of the Natural Laws will be treated the same as it would on any other planet. - The Blue Light designation does NOT mean closed or semi planned SL's are not
permitted on planets. However, it is understood that while a semi planned SL's beginning and end can be set by the party in question; should an individual wish to interact with said semi closed party, they may do so provided their interaction does not hinder the parties ability to achieve their goals within their story. Planetary controllers may elect to set their own rules on what type of closed SL's are permitted on the planets they act as steward for.

So, having gotten the planet Lao-mon created in the Colonies, and never hearing about any new information coming in, I never read the Wookieepedia entry very closely. Unfortunately, that means I missed The Essential Atlas Online Companion update that clarified and updated many of the planets in the galaxy, Lao-mon included. In the case of Lao-mon, this was a fairly large update; namely, Lao-mon is no longer in the Colonies, it is a part of the Unknown Regions. If the existing threads could be moved in order to match this new information, that would be greatly appreciated.

Dantooine was a pleasant world of grasslands, rivers and lakes. The planet was located in the Raioballo Sector of the Outer Rim at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow, the other endpoint of which was in the Obtrexta Sector, though Dantooine itself was still far removed from most galactic traffic. It hosted a small population spread amongst single-family settlements and small communities with large land holdings. Its sentient population consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari race. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath, and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology by the time of the Galactic Civil War.

--Dantooine Government-- The Planetary Government oversees planetary justice and administrative details. The largest settlement and spaceport upon the planet is Garang, which is ruled by a civilian government. Death's Cohort has claimed the planet, although they leave the day-to-day operations of the planet to the sparse government of this underpopulated world. The Military Base is the command center for Death's Cohort. The ancient Jedi Enclave has been abandoned as of late, and sits empty. A normal day on Dantooine lasted 25 standard hours, and a local year lasted 378 local days.
--Brief History of Dantooine-- Dantooine has always been a quiet planet, save for a few turbulent times in it's past. The first recorded information about the planet is that it was subjugated by the Rakata, who built several small installations on the surface, at least one of which housed a Star Map. The location of the known Rakatan installation was not far from where the Jedi Enclave was placed when the world was re-colonized. During the Jedi Civil War, the Star Map was discovered by Darth Revan, who used it to locate the Star Forge. The Jedi Enclave was destroyed by Revan's former apprentice, Darth Malak not long after the Council re-admitted the amnesiac Revan to their ranks, and sent him off on a mission to stop Malak. A number of years later, order was restored to the planet through the actions of Meetra Surik, leading to the rebuilding of the Enclave, and a new founding of the Jedi Order. After these events, the planet remained quiet until the Clone Wars. During the Clone Wars, Mace Windu lead a successful battle against an invading CIS army. While being held captive on the Death Star, Princess Leia falsely told Grand Moff Tarkin that the main Rebel base was on Dantooine, in the hopes of sparing her home planet of Alderaan. The forces that were sent to investigate the claim reported that there was indeed a base on Dantooine, although it had been abandoned for quite some time. Several months into the Yuuzhan Vong war, the planet was captured by the Yuuzhan Vong, and it's inhabitants were massacred. The population of the native Dantari were almost wiped out in the battle as the Yuuzhan Vong proceeded to conquer the planet. Jedi Knight Kyp Durron later witnessed a two-kilometer-wide pit filled with the bones of those sacrificed to the Yuuzhan Vong gods.

Specific Scenarios: As of now the planet is being rebuilt from the ground up. With no owners since 1.5 the objective is to start a new story from that begins years later after the fall of the Fourth Galactic Empire. This will involve new characters and new stories. It will include ground and orbital battles, Dogfights, duels, character building, and anything else that can possibly be brought to the table.

No major faction currently holds Taris. It is independant but looking to possibly join an alliance and broaden RP on this planet.
This planet is a war zone. Currently contested by the huts, pirates and survivors of the war that ruined the empire. It is preffered until this message is changed that it be treated as such when visiting.

EDIT: Saw that the Tatooine's old Planetary Guide was a mess so I cleaned it up, updated it and made it look pretty.Tatooine was a desert world and the first planet in the binary Tatoo star system, located in the Outer Rim. It has three moons, Ghomrassen, Guermessa and Chenini. Due to Tatooine orbiting its two suns, Tatoo I and Tatoo II, the planet is oppressed by a scorching climate. The whole planet is covered in harsh deserts, mountains, and canyons which make traversing the planet very difficult. The planet is filled with many natural hazards including sudden sandstorms and carnivorous Krayt dragons. Due to the absence of surface water, those who live on Tatooine had to draw moisture through the dry air. The planet has built up a very bad reputation, often being viewed as the cesspool of the galaxy due to the high-level of criminals who could be found on its surface. From mercenaries and bounty hunters, to crime lords and general ne'er-do-wells, Tatooine is regarded as a planet filled with opportunity for those with little to no regard for Galactic Law. Suggestions and/or rule variations for this Planet:- Tatooine, being Tatooine, has a wide variety of species and cultures coming to and from it, and is well known for being a lawless world. This is much still the case, but please refrain from randomly blowing up buildings . It is of the utmost importance that we make Tatooine a bastion of creative and collaborative writing.
- Tatooine is an open world, meaning there's no need to request clearance to land or anything like that. All police forces are NPCs and are left up to the writers inciting their appearance to control. Considering most police forces are bribed by local crime lords, it is always safe to carry a weapon.
- RP planning mostly takes place in private messaging or in JvS Chat. If you have any questions about Tatooine or wish to start a story including the locals, please pm Nartaga or The Admiralty OOC.

This way we will be able to make Tatooine a bastion of collaborative and creative role play.Tatooine is considered a Blue Light Planet and will observe the following rule-set:
Blue light badges denote planets that offer open and free in-character interaction between players, unhindered by the traffic light system. Individuals that write on such planets accept that the planetary badge takes precedence over their personal badge. An "anything goes" atmosphere is to be accepted as the status quo on Blue Light planets and player death, robbery, violence, and any conceivable interaction spontaneously occurring between individuals are all understood to be permissible. On the planetary scale, anything goes - IE, players can travel wherever they wish at their own peril, or attack/invade (on a small individual scale) what they wish to on the planet. HOWEVER, in order to keep massive abuse from factions obtaining as many blue light planets as they can - on the premise that these worlds are now "open" for attack - planetary invasions of a planet must be PMed and talked out before hand with the planetary stewards as a safe guard against potential abuse. The Blue Light designation does NOT mean a total reversal of the rules of the site that are in place. The Natural laws in their entirety with the exception of the TLS will still be actively in effect on Blue Light planets. GMing, PGing, and other violations of the Natural Laws will be treated the same as it would on any other planet. The Blue Light designation does NOT mean closed or semi planned SL's are not permitted on planets. However, it is understood that while a semi planned SL's beginning and end can be set by the party in question; should an individual wish to interact with said semi closed party, they may do so provided their interaction does not hinder the parties ability to achieve their goals within their story. Planetary controllers may elect to set their own rules on what type of closed SL's are permitted on the planets they act as steward for.
