The girls found themselves at The Red Shift. It was a not the romantic vision some hold of such places. But was safe, warm and quiet. The three sat down -Alem- "So.... What's his name?" She looked intensely at Gid with a shit eating grin on face. Her sister looked at her with face distorted and asked with sincere confusion in her tone -Gid- "Who?" Brows rising -Alem- "C'mon - who else? The spaceport jock." Head shifting to the right slight she waited -Gid- "You mean Paul?" Alem giggled -Alem- "Paul eh?" Now offensive in time - Gid- "Yes. Paul Dowling. Master mechanic." Nodding -Alem- "Uh huh." Brows dropping - " Yes. And he could be very helpful to us." Still pressing hard -Alem- "All of us...." Having had enough of the baiting -G- "Enjoy the coffee." A few minutes later the red Twi'leck added -Gid- "We need to begin to stop thinking like disorganized criminals here." The play on words made even Shakk laugh. But Gid was not wholly joking. Not in the least

And with a solid six hours invested into this what little self control Shakk had was disappearing fast, which had a strong possibility of not working out that well for some hapless fool. She suddenly asked -Shakk- "Gid, think that we could go see what that dude you wanna boff has done to our ship? Maybe he stole it!" Alem spit a drink on the table partway through what Shakk had to say. When the motivated appeal had ended she added - Alem- "What she said."

As the other women spoke Gid sat seemingly emotionless. With a face stone, eyes blank bottomless pools and hands lying lifeless on the table one would have to assume that the woman had a heart of glass. Nor did rush to even acknowledge a word that had been said for some time. Alem and Shakk conversely were as it two children sitting in a cold office nervously waiting for the principal to speak. At long last their sister with a deep breath answerec -Gid- "Well that was certainly filled with passion...." Eyes practically cutting through those of Alem as Shakk hung her head - Gid- "Check!!!" A waiter rushed over and Gid paid the cash owed. Then standing the woman briskly walked straight out the door. Scurrying to collect their things her sisters rushed behind. During the course of the night Shakk had smooth talked, or do she thought, the bartender not putting up two flags in open visibility on the wall behind the bar. In reality, the man had enormous sympathy for the slight blue Twi'leck. He shrugged off the gesture when questioned -Barkeep- "Ain't like we're worried 'bout entanglements with the man" both of the flags were midnight black and emblazoned with brilliant white lettering that read as follows: Tale of The Twi'leck Three AN LUCHT SIUIL DHIUBH

Sitting in the cantina Rhiannon and Aranrhod had a lot to discuss. A lot. And talk they did -Aranrhod- "My jaw hurts!" Her sister, not one to mince words, nodded with a smile - Rhiannon- "Good maybe you'll shut up for a while." Both girls laughed to that. For quite some time. The hubby interlude fast passing them the two took to busily talking again. They were largely inoffensive, disarming really, and this demeanor served the pair well -Aranrhod- "Mehkt.... Mehkt." Pointing to her sister -Aranrhod- "Yeh." Then back to herself -Aranrhod- "Mi." Aranhod shook her head in disbelief but her sister brushed the subject aside. Both Togruta sat quiet for a long stretch. Her hand slamming flat on the table in front of her, Rhiannon said with an upward nod -Rhiannon - "Ko ke now? With a deep inhale her sister responded -Aranrhod- "Kuhk a kee oc'sa maka ta ta khos'a." And with a sly smile her sister -Rhiannon- "Yehsa ek mi." And the pair stood, leaving their offering behind, the pair quietly left. As they were passing by the patron Rhiannon nodding said -Rhiannon- "Yehsa da." And they were gone

[ Deni "Red Ripper" Lake | The Bar | The Red Shift | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: ReaperThe Red Shift was quite self-sustaining under Deni's management. It had to be, in order to survive in this place, where supply and delivery did not follow a consistent schedule. Sometimes smuggler captains got caught, and if it happened to be the one to bring in the shipment of Almanian ale, well, what were you going to do?
In the Red Ripper's case, she bloody well grew her own food and brewed her own moonshine.
Some of it was poodoo, and some of it was divine, but nobody ever complained about it, and she charged generous prices. It helped that she was practically one of the only places left that was still operational, if grossly underpowered to avoid arousing attention from outside. After the fools that thought to go after the big bounty on the giant, she'd sent her establishment into deep stasis and lockdown, the pet ysalamiri belonging to a smuggler seemed to be a handy means to hide themselves until the giant's rampage was done.
After that, the remaining denizens of the Run began to live a low profile life, low even by the standards of the Run. People began taking alternate routes in and out but left the main sections of Skip One completely depowered to avoid the notice of the Reaper, whom a few pilots had noted still lurked around the Run, for some reason. Until some fool showed up to turn the lights back on, completely heedless of the danger.
And now, small alarms were going off throughout the Red Shift, alerting the patrons and the barmaid that they'd been discovered, even running powers as low as they had, using solar power supplies not connected to the main centre.
“Blast it,” said a man, “Who went and turned on the lights?!?”
The Red Ripper looked up at the ceiling as if she could see right through it all the way to the spaceport of the Skip One, “Somebody wi' a death wish,” she growled, her north-western Coruscanti accent still clear after all these years. “Everyone, yeh know what t' do. If it's th' Reaper, leave 'im be, and leave 'im t' me.”
She checked her Thunder Gauntlets and made sure they were fully charged and ready to break bones and put holes where holes didn't belong.

[ Nebula “Nibs” Enibry | Control Room | Skip One | Smuggler's Run Spaceport ] Attn: Reaper She frowned. It seemed like he was already putting up with her. Why? He really looked like a herald of doom, but was she assuming things on his outward appearance? After all, she knew there were murderers and criminals who looked like sweet gentle angels, why could this big bloke not turn out to have a compassionate or gentle streak? Well, that was also assuming...and maybe overthinking things. If he wasn't going to turn her away or have her shot and done with, best not complain about and be thankful.
So she smiled and in a cheerful tone, said, “Right in one!”
She danced her fingers over her datapad, and a previously unlit corridor brightened, and she turned towards it, tilting her head over her shoulder to look at the giant. And they began to make their way towards the Red Shift.
“So you got any name you prefer to be called by? Or should I just call you Big Scary Guy?”
He swung his axe off his shoulder and around behind his back. The magnetic clamp on his back engaged then, catching the weapon in a holster to leave his hands free. He kept pace with her stroll along the newly lit corridor toward the Red Shift, the girl far too happy for the situation they were in. He had come out to the space around the Run to lay low after making off with the TIE/sas, while she had come out here after what ever job she had been working onYou can call me Hades, for all that it matters... Let me give you some advice kid: if you want to lay low, don't ask too many questions...Something about her demeanour strongly suggested that she was rather new to a lot of this world she was now living in. Whether she lived or died was not of particular concern to him. But it was free advice which cost him nothing to provide her

[ Nebula “Nibs” Enibry | Corridor | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper “O...kay,” said Nibs, but she was a little busy goggling at how easy it was for him to keep and draw his ginormous axe. That was really gonzo, in all honesty. Idly she wondered if she could hope to lift that thing, or if it was like a mystical weapon or some such.
Hades, well, that seemed to fit the theme he was going with.
“Thanks, by the way,” she spoke up after a while, “most people don't give two blasts about anything I do.”
They drew up to the entrance of the Red Shift, and along the way, there were definitely people, who were staying well out of the way of Hades. Whatever he did here, really scared the poodoo out of this lot. Some were even trying to blend into their surroundings or look as inconspicuous as possible.
“Sithspit,” said Nibs, “I know you said don't ask too many questions, but what in the blazes...?”
As she looked towards him questioningly, her fingers danced over her datapad and she easily sliced through the code security and even disabled the weapons systems. The proprietor of this place was...thorough.
[ Deni "Red Ripper" Lake | The Bar | The Red Shift | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper Deni looked up from where she'd been propping herself by the bar, and she took note of the diminutive girl by the side of the very thing she'd been dreading would show up at her doorstep. Now, there he was, and what could she do but hope for the best?
Reaper she knew, but who was the strange tiny girl in loud clothing, clutching a datapad to her chest like her life depended on it? Did the giant get himself an apprentice?
Ha, what a laugh!
“Don' look now, lads,” said the redhead, “Bu' it's th' Reaper.”
Save for one patron at the bar right in front of Deni, who continued to drain his tankard, everyone else had turned to look at the two newcomers, and the sound of so many people creaking chairs or leather jackets to gaze created quite a sound effect.
“Reaper?” said the tiny brunette, “Huh, Hades sounded more gonzo.”
“Tha' wha' 'e told yeh 'is name was, lass?” piped Deni, “'e must like yeh.”
She scowled at the man after a moment, “I don' care 'bout 'ow big yeh are, or what yeh did, or th' big-choobies bounty on yer 'ead, Reaper. Yeh wanna drink, I'll get yeh a drink, but if yeh mess up me place, I'm gunna put yeh down, hear?”
Outside the Shift, someone spotted the big man, and then quickly headed off in the opposite direction away from him, hand reaching into a pocket for his comlink.

He grunted as she suddenly spoke up and thanked him for the advice. He hadn't signed up for a puppy, but he certainly seemed to have acquired one despite his best efforts to the contrary Don't mistake me kid, I don't much care either... I'd just like some peace and quiet... What ever he might have been about to say next was cut off as they arrived to the entrance of the Red Shift. A few defence systems had briefly blocked their way before Nibs deactivated them all with a few operations on her datapad. He had to admit, it was pretty impressive. She was certainly talented at what she did. His attention was then drawn to the red head taking cover by the bar. Of course it had to be her of all people. He sighed as she addressed him, before Nibs and Deni had their little back and forth exchange You're really going to be dramatic about it, huh? Of course you would have stuck around Red... And with a pet no less... As long as no one tries to kill me, I promise not to make a mess of your bar... In truth, she was probably the only person here who could actually back up her word about putting him down. Not because of the Ysalamiri that would nullify the Force so long as she remained within its bubble. But because she had the fighting skill to back it up

[ Nebula “Nibs” Enibry | Corridor | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper Nibs glanced over her shoulder, having noticed the suspicious bloke who'd started talking in hushed whispers to his comlink. Pursing her lips, she realized she was getting a bad feeling in general. The hairs on the back of her neck were rising even though the man was heading away from the Red Shift, like she knew something bad was going down.
“Now I feel bad,” whispered Nibs, “think you caught someone's attention in a bad way, and I don't mean the angry redhead at the bar.”
She began to key in the controls for the security and barrier doors, just in case.
[ Deni "Red Ripper" Lake | The Bar | The Red Shift | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper Deni scoffed at the big lug, but her eyes narrowed on the tiny girl beside him.
“Oy, girlie, did yeh slice into me network an' security?” she demanded, “I swear, if yeh ruined th' system...”
“No sweat, Red,” said the girl without looking up from the datapad, “I have a fine hand at this.”
There was a small rumble of chuckles at the girl's audacity and confidence, “Uh-huh, righ'. Well, you best be puttin' it back on. An' you, Reaper, get yer choobies on a chair, ye're takin' up th' whole floor spa-”
“REAPER!” shouted a man outside the bar, “I'm callin' you out, ya big yella-bellied blurghpoke! I owe ya for takin' me pa and brother!”
“Ferglutz,” said Deni.
“Yyyyeeep.” said Nibs, popping the last bit.

He had noticed the man running off as they entered, but had paid little mind to it. Given he had massacred the last group of bounty hunters that had tried to come for him, it seemed a safe bet it would send a message. He grunted as Nibs pointed out the man and the bad vibe she had. Life would have been much simpler if Red was the only one giving him bad attention This is exactly why I didn't want to come here... His attention was barely upon the conversation occurring between Nibs and Red, the two seeming to argue about security and breaking systems. Instead, his focus was upon the hallway, right as the voice yelled out his name and challenged him Fuck... The word was barely muttered under his breath, his gaze turning toward Red I'll keep it outside your bar Red... Just... Keep the little one out of danger... He took several steps across the room and back out into the corridor, His glowing red gaze settling upon the only person dumb enough to be occupying the space still. His weapons remained sheathed on his back, more as a sign that he did not view his opponent as that much of a threat I've slaughtered more people than I can remember. You're just one man... And you think calling me out is a good idea? Run away now, or I promise your death will be very painful...

[ Nebula “Nibs” Enibry | Corridor | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper Nibs cringed a little when Reaper muttered his reasons for staying away. It seemed like there was always going to be an idiot that thought they had what it took where dozens or more had failed.
“Sorry, sir...” said Nibs as the big man stalked past her. She could almost tangibly feel the power coming off him somehow. It was awe-inspiring, really. “...wait, maybe I can...”
[ Deni "Red Ripper" Lake | The Bar | The Red Shift | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper “Let 'im go, lass,” said Red Ripper, as she slipped on her Thunder Gauntlets, “but nobody said nuthin' 'bout me takin' care o' things meself.”
The lone bar patron who'd not reacted to anything thus far, simply leaned his head and body back as the redhead suddenly vaulted over the bar and activated her weapons, arcs of electricity began to spark and crackle as she followed just behind Reaper.
“Right...I'll uh...just, stand here then.”
A burly bearded man rose from his seat and ambled over to the tiny girl, “You brought the Reaper right down here to the bar?”
“Uh...” Nibs clutched her datapad against her chest and eyed the large man.
Meanwhile, outside, the Red Ripper saw who it was calling out Reaper, and groaned inwardly, “Aw fer heaven's sakes, Roi! Haven't yeh learned from yer pa and Eldd's mistakes?!?”
Roi scoffed at the flame-haired woman, “You butt outta this, Red Ripper. I been waitin' for this no-good louse to show himself again.”
He glanced at Reaper, and levelled his blaster at the man's head, “You think I'm alone? And you think you got everyone what came after you that day? They were brothers, sons and fathers to people. We ain't collectin' the bounty. No, we just want your head.”
There was a scramble of feet, and nearly fifty over men and women began to surround the entrance to the Red Shift. The dark-eyed woman beside Reaper eyed the crowd with a steady expression, “Roi...think what yeh are abou' t' do. We all know Reaper's capabilities, an' wha' 'e did t' those who came after 'im. They thought they could take him on with a dozen strong. He TORE apart the Smuggler's Run...yeh think fifty odd of yeh are gunna succeed where yer relatives couldn't? Eloise, when was th' last time yeh fired a blaster?”
The woman named Eloise just looked on at the armoured man beside the Red Ripper with stoic indifference.
She was about to continue her argument, when she heard more organized and heavy footsteps, and battle droids of a kind never seen before began to file into the plaza, pistols ready, gleaming single-edged blades on their backs. At the sight of them, the crowd finally began to show uneasiness. Red Ripper eyed the droids and then looked up at the large man, “Yers? Or tha' li'l waif back inside?”
If the girl was a slicer, it stood to reason she'd employ security she could control.

He'd given no response to Nibs as she apologised, instead opting to talk to her after this was all over about it. He also, simultaneously, sent out an audio command which would summon his droids from the Hangar Bay. Something in the Force had given him a bad feeling about this situation, and it was better to have backup close on standby and not need it.
He let out another disgruntled groan as Red Ripper came out into the hallway with her Thunder Gauntlets on. This was not what he'd had in mind when he'd told her to protect Nibs, in fact this was the exact opposite. It also meant he was going to have to be a lot more careful with his attacks when the 50 odd people came out into the hallway and surrounded himself and Red. While he appreciated Red's attempt to reason with them, he already knew it was pointless You're welcome to try... But It'll be me collecting the heads here today... Right on cue, his Security Droids arrived, their weapons drawn and surrounding the crowd. While pistols and dual katana's were good, he made a mental note to get some actual rifles for them in the future. He barely shifted his gaze from Roi, as Red asked him about the droids Mine. Also you should be back inside the bar... He took a couple steps forward then, closing the distance between himself and Roi. Several people in the crowd stepped back to put some distance between themselves and Reaper Last chance... Leave now, or you will all die. They came after me, I defended myself. But I assure you, if you do not stand down now, I will hunt down every last one of your relatives and they'll join you in the afterlife a lot sooner than they otherwise would... So what will it be?

[ Deni "Red Ripper" Lake | The Bar | The Red Shift | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper The flame-haired woman gave Reaper an incredulous look, then rolled her eyes. She was trying to protect these people from him. She had no doubt the man could act on his threat and was certainly more than capable of looking after himself, but the Run had already seen its share of losses thanks to him. If she could reduce it significantly, that would be all the better.
The people dwelling inside the bar right then were some of the more level-headed folk, and she had a secret bouncer besides herself, just in case things got bad. Reaper didn't know about him, but the tiny waif within was safe and sound.
As for those who were surrounding them right then? Well, the arrival of the battle droids had many beginning to rethink their choice. There was a quiet murmur amongst the crowd, and many exchanged glances or their hands lowered.
“I've got kids, Roi,” said one of the women, “I'm mad for this man taking my husband...but Weslin made his choice too. I'm not going to take a chance.”
The woman's words and decision seemed to decide the entire group, and as she walked away, in ones and twos, the rest of the crowd began to disperse, any weapons they had either put away or held in a lowered and unthreatening manner. It was only Roi that was left in the end. And he didn't look entirely as confident as he did a moment ago, now that literally the entire posse had left.
“I ain't leavin'.” declared Roi, his blaster in hand, “I ain't got nothin' t' lose.”
“Yeh ain't got nothin' t' prove neither!” cried Deni.
“Shut it, Red!” Roi shook his gun in the woman's direction, then looked back the giant, “You an' me, blastfighter rules. We draw at the same time.”
“You achin' t' die tha' badly?!?” Deni looked around, there was still a small audience, but at a respectable distance, “Don' waste yer life like this, Roi.”
“My life, my choice. Whaddaya say, Reaper?”

The droids left the crowd disperse as they slowly tightened the perimeter as those that opposed them grew fewer and fewer in number. They came to a stop when the last three remaining people were Roi, Reaper and Deni. So long as the crowd kept their weapons lowered or holstered, the droids would not interfere and acted more to keep them out of harms way as Roi tried to hold his ground.
Reaper stared down at the man, his piercing red gaze burning into the man's very being. His stubbornness was growing old very fast. A chance had been given to leave and walk away, but Roi seemed intent on dying. Deni, for her part, tried her best to talk him down. But her efforts seemed rutile, especially when he waved his pistol in her direction. That foolish and careless motion was the last straw. He had indulged this long enough. His left hand made a motion, summoning the Force to himself before reaching out and gripping around Roi's very being, freezing the man in place ENOUGH! I gave you a chance to save your own worthless life! Deni even tried to talk you down, but I am done playing around! Reaper stepped closer, his right hand reaching out and tearing the pistol from Roi's hand. He tossed the weapon across the ground as he loomed over the man You're not worth the effort to kill... So no, I'm not going to waste my time on your challenge. You're leaving, and you're going to go very far away... He clenched his right gauntleted hand into a fist and drew it back, before swinging it forward. The impact of the punch would undoubtedly be enough to knock Roi unconscious, with Reaper's grip within the Force letting go to allow Roi's body to fly across the floor toward the crowd One of you take him away. Two thousand credits will go to whoever does this... The droid closest to where Roi's unconscious form was laid out on the ground produced a credchip with the 2,000 credit reward programmed in

The Red Shift. Not normally a place that someone like Thunn Zad would frequent. Being the former King of Falleen, this place certainly was a significant decline in the style of establishments he would normally frequented. Though, he had taken it upon himself to step down as King of Falleen and pass the title on to his brother, Therrin Tor Zad. Knowing full well that The Organization would come calling eventually, for repayment for the aid rendered during the Blackguard Reborn's attempted invasion of Falleen nearly two years ago, Thunn decided to shoulder that burden alone, as it had been his decision to accept The Organization's offer. Rather than have the price extracted from his people, he felt that paying it himself would better serve the Monarchy over all.Seated at the far end of the bar, clad in his armor, minus the helmet, the Falleen enjoyed a quiet drink, oblivious to whatever it was that was transpiring across the bar, or outside of it. He had come this far, in search of The Organization, he wasn't about to give up just yet. All traces pointed to the Smuggler's Run, though he wasn't able to pinpoint and exact location. So rather than exhaust himself, he decided to take a brief break from trying to track The Organization down.

“Well I ken no one's g'nna give yeh no mind no more.” said the redhead.
The woman who had spoken earlier, sheepishly returned, cast a wary eye at Reaper, then bent and began to drag Roi away. Deni was giving the big man a thoughtful look, but didn't say anything more. Until a young woman's panicked squeal from within the Red Shift sounded and the flame-haired bar owner thundered back in.
[ Nebula “Nibs” Enibry | The Bar | Skip One | Smuggler's Run ] Attn: Reaper Anyone rushing back into the bar was greeted with the sight of Nibs standing over the man who'd been getting confrontational with her, clutching her datapad in a manner that made it seem like she was cowering behind it. But the fact remained that she had somehow knocked a six-foot, two hundred pound man unconscious.
Most of the bar patrons were staring at her in awe. One of them turned to the Red Ripper, and the Reaper, then said, “No wonder he lets her travel with him. I've never seen anything like it.”
“What're yeh goin' on aboot?” demanded Deni.
“He was about to attack me!” said Nibs defensively. The man on the floor groaned.
He slowly struggled to a sitting position, looked up at the tiny girl, and then roared with laughter.
“I did NOT see that coming!” he said, and shook his head, “You're all right in my book, kid.”
“Uh...thanks?”
