For me, Marvel has always been my top favorite. DC is a close second but just some of the heroes and villains from Marvel just suit me.
As for superpower, I would have to say control of the elements. Kind of like avatar so it isn't too overpowered. However, it would be nice to control close to anything.

Power: I want the abilities David Dunne has in 'Unbreakable.' Able to see the acts others have committed, and slightly stronger, and slightly more impervious to bodily harm. I always really liked that film's portrayal of 'superpowers.' Nothing went to an unbelievable extreme. Just tweaks to what we perceive as 'normal.'
