and on utapou, I had a spare moment, thought I'd NPC one of my older characters to spice things up. Ibn Mantus used to be Havok's director of security on Bilbringi in the glory days of the NOE. I'm not horning in on your action, just thought there might be other well connected people out there that might hear of, and want to buy a krayt dragon. For like 50 million credits. Jeffrey bezos of star wars money.
obviously I am not on in the mornings, but today I saw you just posted and so I figured I'd pop on for a sec.
Feel free to have Tyna issue her judgment on Martaine. Or if you want, she'll do it in her next post and formally order his execution. Or since the sun went down, feel free to fulfill some prophecy. ;)

I think my explanation made sense. Infected personnel wander off, get eaten by the tuk'ata, then it gets passed on through their bite. I didn't read this post till after, but yeah, if you have Tyna make it a formal order I'll have a bit of fun with the execution. You did a really good job making me hate Martaine so I'm definitely looking forwards to making his end as brutally descriptive as possible. Best not to read that one on a full stomach, lol.

Got distracted by other things this weekend. Did not finish posting in the deep woods.
Also need to finish and get back to Havok at draggle rock.
On utapow (lol), Mantus is going to decline the hiest job after figuring out that Dragus brought a huge ship, and the whole thing is basically a flying biohazard site. He can't organize such a heist fast enough. I suppose I probably should have broken my post into two and just had Mantus leave the auction first and waited for before walking him to the cantina, in case Draggy wanted to take other actions against him.
Other Background:
I left the attendant so chuckles can kill the attendant, the crowd around him, and cause sweet sweet chaos. I didn't want to RP it b/c I didn't think I could do the poison justice.
I drove up the bidding b/c hey, its all on someone else's dime, right? Plus Draggy can brag about how expensive it was.
The call mantus got was from a source leaking info inside Havok's office. Havok will not be happy about the leak. Havok's position is the world is a better place with a Krayt dragon in Dragus' hands.
Mantus is not working for Havok right now, just some spoiled ridiculously rich kid, whose views are: "the world is a better place with THIS krayt dragon in MY hands."

I am still working on Rishi. what I have right now, doesn't feel right to have Havok concerns about using his force sight.
Question, would the meltmassif in Fort Draggy impede havok's sight? or is it just a barrior against mental connections/mind control?
Another question: do you think Abeloth from star wars is just a warhammer 40K slaneeshi demon? lol.

As with 40K, it does whatever the plot requires of it, lol.
For Draggy's purpose it creates a barrier against mental intrusion. That said, I've also said the Fort enhances ones abilities by rerouting the currents of Force energy across the planet like some sort of magical vortex.
With our characters connections to the Eye it can be a bit convoluted, especially in Havok's case since it raises the question of how much is his own ability and how much of his sight is a gift from the Eye.
So approach it however ya like and in whatever way inspires joy. I promise I'm not fussy.

Hopefully you still have your thumbs, lol. People in my area are crazy when it comes to fireworks. Canada day for us was on the 1st, Saturday, and like even yesterday peeps were still shooting fireworks off.
Added Martaine's face to one the DRKs so he'll always be with us ;-)

It sounded like a war zone. the air quality in the city went bad again because of the fireworks. :P Martaine was a great character to love to hate. That face will continue on, like the titanic. Question about the factory: do you have an idea of how big it is? is it a multi-building complex? Do you have an idea of any specific weapons or munitions were built there? (finding out if you have an idea before I make something up) It is big enough to have a river dam, but are we talking huge like the droid factory in attack of the clones? is it like 5 stories tall? 10 floors tall? (could Tyna plausibly force jump from the ground up to the roof?) (finding out if you have an idea before I make something up in a post) My thoughts: In my mind, I am thinking the factory is in the valley between hills, the river is narrower where it was previously dammed, and the hills have had the sides dug out to make more room. I would say the factory is really big, but looks smaller from the side our group is approaching. Size wise I was thinking something like the factory in Star Wars Visions Season 2 episode 3. I kinda want to say that the factory is taller than the surrounding hills, b/c then Tyna can't see how far the factory extends. I also want to say the roof is high enough that Tyna cannot force jump that high. Edit: Tyna's post is done. I figure it was still night. I figure that doing the story in the day time will be more interesting, because it gives the factory a variety of lighting conditions, pitch black in some areas, shadowy if a couple of lights are still working in a room, or daylight if we're in an area where the roof collapsed. |

Ok. Been a productive weekend. I also finished the works in progress with Tyna in the sith temple, up to the point where she starts playing hide and go seek with Kaan. I don't think I have any posts that are works in progress! Hooray!

Mechanical Apology Sorry for the delay, my brother. I'm actually on holiday right now (but I have internet access) and I've been feeling like a hot pile of garbage due to some virus that won't seem to quit. It hasn't left me feeling very inspired.
But a round of 18 holes baking in the sun followed by much needed edibles has temporarily aided my creative side, so I hope that post was alright. I felt good about it. Hopefully it is pretty clear what Starkiller has planned....he may have some siblings in the basement }:>
