I heard the clatter of the mug off a wall, but heard no footsteps fallowing them. This was a good sign, as today would be a bad day for someone to die. But he had to react when calling a mutt. No matter how small the reaction was. Though part of me still felt like ripping the throat of his open. But now that they were outside in the open I took a deep breath trying to calm myself. Turning my attention back to the Mirulaka. It did indeed feel better to me outside.. yes it is, and Yes a Mechanic. For the last year since I've left my home world I have sold my services as Mechanic, and tracker. It seemed and easy way off the planet, and back when the empire was the leading faction my people were used quite often.. How is it you see small one? Ahh the good old days when people had more respect my people. But since then are people have once again become isolationists. At times It was bothersome how they never wanted to leave Uvena. Much of are technology was the same, though few smaller factions or city's on the planet were less then advance as others. We got most of it from the rare few traders that came to are system, but most was from those select few who had bothered to traverse the universe and brought it back with them. Still loyal to us and wanting us to stay updated./color]
Mirania smiled to herself. Another nomad, like she was. It seemed these two had at least one thing in common after all. She had to make a conscious effort to hide her smile when he asked her how she could see. It wasn't uncommon for her to field a lot of questions from curious strangers about her race, and as long as they were respectful, she had no qualms about answering them."I see with the Force...my race doesn't have eyes, so we use the Force to 'see' the world around us." Lanching into an explanation about Force Sight would likely take too much time to explain. Hopefully he would understand it well enough, or she could save the long explanation for later.
The Miraluka woman turned her head when she heard someone calling out, and she saw someone standing there. Humanoid, but she didn't recognize the species. Didn't matter, as he was clearly trying to provoke the wolf-man, and as she was thinking this, she remembered that they hadn't exchanged names yet. She couldn't keep referring to him as 'wolf man' after all.
She took a step back, maintaining an air of calm, but ready for trouble all the same.

Clark recognized another soldier when he saw one. Only someone with the that kind of situational awareness that only comes from battle could have intercepted that mug as well as the man in the corner did. He wondered if the fellow might know of any work around here. Clark was desperate for money and had some rather large gambling debts to pay off. He made up his mind to approach the stranger.
"Howdy." he said as he slid into the other side of the corner booth "That's some quick reflexes you got there. You look like a fighter, you a fighter? I ask cause the only people I seen move that fast are either Jedi or hell raise'n fighters. You know I once caught a bullet with my teeth?" he said sarcastically

So you are a forcy then??
He was unsure how to feel with this new information. He was not adverse in this area of knowledge, but from what he had seen there conflicts were continues, and there destruction was seen everywhere. There conflicts seem to drag the entire galaxy and no one was able to escape there fights. Now here I was walking with one, I had my worries about it. Though as for how much trouble she could cause seemed like less strain as more of a laugh.
As I mustered a small chuckle, I heard a robotic voice behind me. Turning quickly I growled at the site, even Kyst let out a growl as he to turned. The fur on my companion standing up. I recognized that voice, it was hard to miss seeing as I had only heard something like it once before in my life.... Bravassa, the damn fool was back and here I had thought I may never run into him again. It was bad enough dealing with him on are assignation contract back then. I constantly found my parts and tools missing. Some spit about them having a hard on for technology.
My hand dropped towards my pistols. Not so much as a threatening gesture but more to safe guard my weapons. I had spent 2 months on the contract work with him in the Inner Rim, using my skills as a tracker to hunt are target down. It was not so much a hard job, as we often found are selves traveling quite frequent. Are target was a jump as a child, and fled from one planet to the next in what seemed like only a couple days. But we had finished are contract, the now dead target probably in a trash pile was dead. And when we had been paid, I thought it would be the last of him. Though now because of this run in I agree with the thoughts I had back then. I should have killed him at the end of the contract so I could have gotten more money. Then this encounter never would be happening.
You know back when we got paid I had a thought I choose to Ignore, Bravassa....It told me I should have just killed you and kept you're share to myself. At least then I would have needed to look for work as soon.
I dropped my index fingers towards my triggers, gauging his reaction to my statement. Though I knew he was usually for more armed then I was. After all I carried only two pistols and a sword.....Well and explosives, but a merc never leaves home with out explosives.... He could win in a gun fight, but I had speed on him after all. But none the less, I was ready. Bring it on Mr. Roboto

"Teeth huh? I caught one with my aorta once," Gulliver deadpanned. "Not an experience I'd care to repeat."
The newcomer had the look of a fighter about him, though alcohol had done a number on both his state of hygiene, and, judging by the threadbare clothes, his finances. But then he looked past him, out to the street. The dirty window showed the canine from earlier, apparently about to get into an altercation with an armed Ubese. Could be trouble. If they started shooting, there was no way that they wouldn't pepper the nearby buildings, including the bar, with gunfire. Not taking a bolt from another man's barfight is one thing, but Gulliver wasn't about to let them shoot up a crowded street.
The big merc grimaced and stood.
"Looks like something's gonna go down. We might could wrangle free drinks from the barkeep if we keep the place from getting shot up. You in?"
Without waiting for an answer, the big merc headed for the door, dreading what would follow once he got out there. He wasn't particularly intimidated by the canine's size; he was only an inch or so taller than Foyle. Foyle wasn't exactly a lightweight either. He had the thick neck and blocky shoulders that came from lots of lugging around a heavy pack and climbing. His long arms were heavily corded with muscle, a testament to his experience with heavy weapons. He had the sort of chest that came from way too many push-ups, and years of rucking through the worst terrain the galaxy had to offer had given him massive, muscular legs that could pass for tree trunks if he stood still. Size didn't phase him in the least.
Nor did the guns the two potential combatants were undoubtedly carrying. His own 6.8mm pistol fired the same rounds that his rifle used. Hell, the pistol itself basically was a miniaturized version of his rifle. Even used the same magazines. What the rounds lacked in diameter they made up for in muzzle velocity, range, and mass. The ballistic-tipped rounds could rip a fist-sized hole in a wookiee if needed.
No, it wasn't any one factor that had him nervous. It was the possibility of a fight itself. He knew he could handle himself, and barring exceptional luck, there were few beings that could go toe to toe with him and hope to come out on top. But fear before a fight is a very real thing. In many ways, it's a good thing. Only an idiot or a berserker went into battle unafraid. That wasn't courgage; that was lunacy. Courage is facing that fear, pushing past it, and doing what had to be done. If Foyle ended up bleeding out in the gutter tonight, then so be it. If that was the price to be paid for trying to keep these two idiots from turning stupidity into tragedy, then he'd pay it gladly.
Of course, he'd rather things not get to that point in the first place. He stepped outside into the chilly night air, hands by his side, posture relaxed.
"Evening miss, gents." He nodded towards the Mirakula, but kept his eyes on the two potential fighters. "I don't suppose there's any way to convince you folks to take this elsewhere. Lotta folks stand to get hurt if you throw down out here."

Despite several rejected advances, Grav was having a great time. In his case, ignorance was bliss, and even with the commotion thus far, he remained unaware of the tension building between fellow patrons. As far as he was concerned, this was a typical night out so far. Well, maybe a bit blurrier than most. He finished off another drink and jumped around on the dance floor for a while, busting as much move as he possibly could to woo the local ladies. He may have overly shaken his groove thing though, because a familiar queasiness took hold of his innards.
Gravicus had to push his way past a few people to make it out of the nearby doorway in time. He staggered past the combat-ready mercenaries, and darted around the corner into a side alley. A violent eruption of chundering ensued, as the bulky human filled a waste disposal canister with his evening’s beverages all at once. It may have sounded to anyone within earshot like a horrendous event that would put anyone off drinking for a lifetime, but Grav was not fazed. "Few, that’s better… Hey, I don’t remember eating that.” he slurred to himself.

Bravassa grinned under his helmet as he saw the wolf-man's response to his appearance. It seemed that he had just as much animosity towards the Ubesian as he did during the contract they performed together. The Ubesian wasn't surprised after all the wolf-man proved to have many technological wonders that brought up the old Ubese obsession with technology that had proven to be the boom and inevitable end of their society. Bravassa had liberated the wolf-man of many of his toys and possessions once he had seen all the technological gizmo's he had in his possession. Though this would prove to be the reason that Bravassa didn't despise the wolf-man as he did most species he enjoyed the wolf-man's presence as a possible venue for sating his lifetime obsession, whether or not the wolf-man willingly or even knowingly gave Bravassa the wonders he had. A laugh escaped from Bravassa's voice amplifier as the wolf-man seemed prepared for a shootout in the middle of the street. His hand already resting on his blaster as he awaited to see if the wolf-man would make the first move, he was fairly certain his trigger finger was faster but the wolf-man did have the physical advantage over him. Due to the structure of his body he would prove to be faster and possibly stronger than Bravassa was, Bravassa had seen him at work once already and knew exactly what the wolf-man was capable of. A quick trigger and a good shot should put the hound down though if he chose to bite rather than bark. Bravassa's hand remained relaxed over the gun as he spoke to the wolf-man, fairly confident in his ability to take the wolf-man should things turn violent.
Bravassa is not so easily killed wolf-man. It is good you kept such thoughts to yourself as Bravassa would hate to kill someone kind enough to share his technological horde. Besides Bravassa needs work as well and was wondering if you know where he may get some.
He wondered just how far the wolf-man would want to go again the Ubesian. After all the wolf-man had seen enough of him at work to know what he was going up again. Though Bravassa didn't plan to kill the overgrown canine he most definitely had the ability to. He wondered just how nervous the wolf-man might be in such a life and death situation. There was no credits to be had and no technological goodies to be acquired in a shootout between the two. In the end that was not the conclusion Bravassa was looking for, but he'd glad make that conclusion happen if the wolf-man chose to draw his gun against the Ubesian. His eyes also started to recognized the pink fleshy female creature beside the wolf-man, it seemed like she had taken a defensive stance as well. Bravassa had no idea what tools she may have at her disposal and debated whether or not it would be more efficient to take her out of the fight immediately should things get that far. If he removed the unknown variable from the situation he'd have a far easier time against the two of them. It was as Bravassa entertained this idea inside his head that another man entered the fray. This one significantly bulkier than Bravassa, maybe even more so then the wolf-man himself. Bravassa could see this man being an even larger threat than the wolf-man and the unpredictable woman. The odds were not exactly in his favour at this point.
The blaster no longer seemed like the most viable option for the Ubesian should things go sour. Bravassa was good on the trigger, he was fairly certain he had a huge speed advantage over the pink fleshy man who just entered the conflict, but even he didn't have the ability to gun all three of them down before they had a chance to retaliate. His hand moved away from his blaster now as his nerves started to increase and his brain went through the motions of figuring out just how high the percentage was of him walking out of a 4-person throw-down still living. Instead his hand fell upon one of his thermal detonators. The street wasn't too wide and the group happened to be close enough to each other that Bravassa was certain he could take at least the wolf-man and the pink fleshy man with the wide blast radius associated with a thermal detonator. There was no doubt in Bravassa's mind that he'd be caught in the explosion as well and injured gravely due to his proximity to the others. Either way he was willing to go that far if necessary but he had the feeling that the thought of mutual destruction may be enough to keep either of these two men from making a move in this fight. As his hand rested on one of the thermal detonators on his belt his hand remained relaxed. Prepared to grab the detonator when necessary but making sure not to make the three creatures nervous enough to attack him first well he spoke.
Bravassa would rather not have to kill anyone here that he has not been paid to kill. It's bad practice to kill potential clients or targets in Bravassa's line of work. As he finished speaking his eyes darted between the three, searching for an hostile movements until a drunk near the group decided to make his presence known. He only looked at the intoxicated creature once before putting him out of his mind well he looked back and forth between the other three.

Clark followed the fellow merc out the door. Clark stepped up beside his comrade, putting his hand on his hips thus opening his frock coat to revile two menacing .48 caliber revlovers. He tipped his hat to the young lady as the man he would later know as Gulliver spoke all while keeping a close eye on the dog and mask man waiting for even the slightest move from either two to indicate a pull on him.

Mirania was actually starting to get nervous, and with four heavily armed men now in the streets, she debated just making a run for it and coming back later to see if anyone survived. Being a healer, she wasn't one for violence in any situation, using her blaster only as a very last resort. Normally in these situations, she tried to talk down potential assailants or simply ran like hell if she couldn't convince someone that she wasn't a threat.
She stepped backwards."Uh...hey, why don't we just keep our blasters in our holsters? We can settle this peacefully, right?"Although just because she almost never used her blaster didn't mean that she didn't know how to shoot, and in the few times that she had been forced to draw, most underestimated her aim. However, she really didn't want this situation to escalate further.
She observed each man carefully, able to sense the hostility between the wolfman and the one calling himself Bravassa, and she got the feeling that there was a history between these two. The rather large man that had exited the pub seemed to be intent on keeping the peace as well, though Mirania had no doubt that he could handle himself in a fight. Still, if it was going to come to that, she wanted to be as far away from the carnage as possible.

I stood up slightly removing my hands from my pistols slowly. Her he was testing my temper once again with talk of his hording of my equipment. The last time cost me almost half are pay out to get all my tools back. And I didn't take it to kindly that he stood here in Yractos joking about it. I growled an my fur stood up showing my annoyance. I looked towards Kyst then the girl, she was now backing away from us in case something bad happened. No, there was no need for it. Though I despised his annoying habits, he was a decent scout and shot. So maybe if I stop trying to look alone I could find work with a partner, though I would make sure that before we even started another contract together he would need to follow a few steps. If he didn't want me to rip his breathing mask off and shove a thermal down his throat.
I am here looking for work as well Bravassa. I figured this Region would be a good place to be seeing as it was also my first time Region of space. Though I was starting to think else where would be easier to find place.
When I saw the other two men step out of the tavern and the one from before address me I snapped exposing all my teeth. My hand sliding into a pouch on my side holding several explosives I brought forth one. Holding it out Bravassa would recognize the explosive, and with what I new of the girl this seemed like the best bet. Bravassa most certainly would catch my meaning with it. With slow steps I moved towards the man, trying to put distance between the girl and us. Holding the explosive out slightly so they two could see it. It seemed as if they were looking for trouble, first insulting me. Then following us out here and stepping into matters that were not theres. Who cared if a few got killed, places like this knew these things happened. Its why after all are kind came to such places, people looking for work, and the tales told.
A way of keeping track of the galaxy as we all did are own things. We pieced together info and followed what we heard, and researched. But now for the first time im seeing high and mighty Mercs. And the idea was distasteful.
I don't see why It should matter to much to me really, there not my kind. And besides, you seem to want to dance anyways. What now second time, ether insulting me or butting into private matters.
I pressed the button on the explosive, knowing I had 5 seconds tell it exploded...1
Which way should I throw it gentlemen??? 2

Even drunk a Morellian Enforcer could out draw most anyone. As soon as the dog man pulled the pin on the grenade Clark drew his pistol in a move so swift you would of missed it if you blinked. He fired two quick shots aimed at the hand holding the bomb, hoping to God his blurred visions didn't though off his aim much, of course with a target this big that was unlikely.

Gravicus had started meandering back when he stopped to indiscreetly study the form of the Miraluka. All of the explosives fondling amongst the group was not enough to divert his attention, but the gunfire certainly was. “Woah!” he exclaimed with widened eyes, as if he were about to be treated to a show stunning of fireworks. The thought had not yet entered his inebriated mind that it would be a good idea to take cover right about now.

When the wolf man pulled the grenade, or at least the Miraluka woman thought it was a grenade. It didn't matter, as she was already rapidly stepping back, looking for a place to hide from the inevitable fight. She saw one of the armed men who had followed them out of the pub pull a blaster and that was the last straw, and she turned and sprinted away, ducking into an alleyway to avoid being caught in the crossfire. On the way over, Mirania had noticed a rather drunk man stumbling around, and she hoped he would get his ass to cover before the situation finally exploded.
Just as she had ducked into the alley, she heard the shots being fired and made sure to crouch low in the alley, and she drew her blaster. The alleyway was thankfully deserted, though turning her head, she noticed a puddle of vomit. Ew..."Urgh...so much for a peaceful solution...and great, someone puked here. Gods, what a horrible day this is turning out to be..."She kept her focus on the figures out in the street, watching through the Force to see what would happen. Being a Miraluka, she could see their signatures, their auras through the wall, which would mean she would know right away if they approached.

The air was a little more crisp than Ty had expected being a city and all, it said a lot about those who inhabited the city after the Vong were driven away and the city was rebuilt. Of course this was Ty's first trip to Gyndine and it wasn't for pleasure as few of his trips were, no this was strictly business. The word had been sent around the galaxy that there was work to be found on Gyndine, here in Yractos to be specific, rumors planted by his employer to draw in the likes of useful folks in an attempt to recruit them. Ty didn't like it, not one bit, that many combustible elements in one place spelled disaster for any who might be unlucky enough to run into one of them with a vicious mean streak or worse a group of them. While mercs in general weren't always the monsters you hear about in stories told by the media, they were certainly very competitive and will eliminate the competition by any means necessary.
The former leader of the Bloody Aces Mercenary Force would have done things a little differently, probably similar to how he recruited members to the Aces, personally and individually. In his experience the quickest way isn't always the easiest way and especially not the best way to get it done. But those were his orders and he followed orders, well his immediate orders anyway, his standing orders were something else entirely.
Turning a corner on his way to the cantina Ty heard raised voices and the distinct sound of an enforcer firing two rounds, then quickly turned down an alley that came to a T then walked to the corner and peered around the corner down the adjoining alley to see a a girl running for cover, and beyond that a group of individuals having words near the pub.And it looked like he was right, but he hidden in the alley he questioned why he decided to wear his signature white suit once again. But at least he was armed in case the fight came his way, ironically with dual enforcers.Sticking to the shadows as best as he could with a white suit on he crept up to the scared woman, knelt, and quietly whispered to her as he held his hands up to let her know he meant her no harm. Miss, looks like things are getting out of hand over there. Any idea what happened?

Mirania's attention was focused on the situation on the street, so she didn't see the man in the white suit approaching her in the alley until he addressed her and she whirled around with a gasp, her blaster pointed at him. His posture was non-aggressive and he hadn't had his weapons drawn, but one could never be too careful. Shakily, she lowered her blaster, shaking her head."Kriffing...hasn't anyone told you not to sneak up on a lady like that?!"Sighing, she leaned against the wall, blaster still in hand, wishing briefly that she had actual eyes, if only to give this man the mother of all death glares. Mostly though, she was curing herself for not minding her surroundings better. At least this guy didn't seem out to harm her...yet.
She took a deep breath to calm herself, figuring she may as well try to fill him in on what was happening."I tried to talk them down but...well...that didn't work out. So I ran for it."

A green figure darted out into the street, and grabbed Gravicus from behind. Almost instantly the large man was dragged back into the alley again, where he was dropped to the ground. “Stay back!” a dark voice quietly but clearly commanded. Grav, having completely lost his bearings, looked up to see his little brother standing over him.
Arn picked a heck of a time to stop by. He often took the opportunity on his meal breaks from working local security to check in on Gravicus, making sure that he was not getting into trouble, but this time things looked to be more serious than he was used to seeing of late. That’s not to say he was out of practice. He had already made a full assessment of the situation based on the number of people involved and the weapons that he had counted on them while recovering Grav. His former leader’s sudden appearance had also caught his attention, but he made no gesture or comment beyond a glace to acknowledge Ty’s presence yet, and although he couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be a connection between this and the sporadic outburst of violence, his focus was the individuals playing with explosives and firearms. He remained behind cover, waiting to see which way the sparks of this clash flew.

It didn't surprise Ty when the girl pulled the blaster on him, in fact he was expecting it hence the reason why he put his hands up in the first place. He knew she was afraid so it was 50/50 on whether he would startle her enough for her to shoot him on sight or not, he also took into account that she had run from the fight rather than stayed in the mix because that told him that she probably wasn't looking for trouble, and lastly he anticipated that she was probably still in within her right mind and would look first before shooting. It was a calculated risk and fortunately for Ty the better outcome came to pass as she lowered her weapon. I'll remember that next time. He said as he lowered his hands slowly as well and edged past her still crouching to get a better angle on the standoff then quickly darted back as he saw the grenade. He wasn't sure if the grenade was live or not but in a few seconds they would all find out, nonetheless he remained calm as he looked back at the girl and for the first time realized that she was Miralukan. Might want to take a few steps further back. The whispered words barely escaped his lips before Arn darted into the alley as well with Gravicus in tow. The sight of his old friends alive and well after not seeing them for so long after the attack that destroyed the Bloody Aces would have typically warranted celebration and drinks, but with the current situation at hand at the forefront of his mind his thoughts were strictly business, there was however a familiar smile forming as the two made eye contact. Arn. He glanced at Gravicus. Grav. And then returned his eyes to to Arn. Just like old times.
Turning his attention once again to the girl. You said you tried to talk them down? What'd you say? And do you know what started it? Hopefully the girl wouldn't take offense to his questions nor think that he was blaming her in anyway, he was trying to further assess the situation and defuse it if possible.

Mirania noticed the two new arrivals, and with the situation continuing to escalate, she debated just making a run for it and going back to finding a ship to take her off this rock. This had been far more than she had bargained for and if any of those fools in the street let loose their firepower, it would be likely that the injuries would be far beyond her ability to heal.
She shook her head."Does it matter what I said? They want to kill each other now. I don't know what happened."She sighed and leaned against the wall.

Clearly the girl was still shaken and Ty didn't have the time to calm her down and get the details he needed, such as who the instigator(s) was/were, what didn't work to defuse the situation, and maybe what the events were that led to this point. But Ty understood completely so he wouldn't press the issue and she had already helped at least a little. He nodded with a slight smile. You probably just weren't speaking their language is all, and he wasn't talking about Basic, he was talking work, which meant credits, the mercenary's universal language. and at least you tried, probably bought us a few minutes in the process. He leaned back against the wall beside her and pulled one of his enforcers out of his under arm holster to check again to make sure he was fully loaded then put it back and looked at her again. There's a way out down that way, just follow the alley to the first left and take it and you'll be out of harm's way. Or you could stay here and keep in cover. It's up to you.
With that he looked to Arn and Grav as he drew his other Enforcer, checked his rounds, and holstered it again. I'm going out there, Grav will you stay with her to make sure nothing happens to her until this is over or she's safely out of here. And Arn. He paused for a moment. You got my six?

Clark may have been fast on the draw but the whiskey was playing havoc with his aim both his shots went wild and ended up embedding themselves into building behind his target.
"Oops. Guess my finger slipped." (stupid double vision he shot at the wrong one!) "Tell ya what Fido, why don't you stick the pin back in that nade of yours I won't shoot at the other 'you' I'm looking at. Sound good? We can still all walk away from this thing with all our arms and legs....and paws."

Before I had taken a few steps I heard the small one take off for a near by alley way. Then moments later, the flicker of movement caught my eye. The second man who showed up was reaching for a weapon. Instantly im animal instincts took into affect, my eyes allowing me a moments opportunity. I spun towards my left dropping on to all 3 paws as I brought my right paw around and under me throwing the explosive towards the two men.3 Just as I released the grenade I heard 2 shots ring out. I saw the explosive cylinder fly for just a moments before my right paw touched ground4
I did not wait another moment as I dug in with my claws and took off in the opposite direction of the soon explosion. I wanted distance from what was about to happen, more so for my eyes then anything else. I didn't care to even see the glare off a building. Kyst took action as well running another Direction, threw the alleyway where a new group had just formed. It looked once towards the small girl before taking a left and sprinting off another direction.
5 The canister blew releasing with it a fluorescent blinding white light. A flash bang, both a great escape tool and defensive move. I didn't care if anyone made it to cover before it ignited, or if I got a few of them. My ears picked up the gathering of what sounded like 3 more bodies before I made it passed the alleyway. And now I was glad I had chosen the option of running. With the small women hiding in the alleyway, the arrival of 3 new people. Me and Bravassa were out gunned, assuming my one time partner would have helped. Though part of me wondered if he caught the canister in time, though It would have been mildly funny if it had got him to. Revenge for all my missing tech.
