Well, there went the grenade. In the dim light, Gulliver was unable to see that it was only a flashbang. There was no point in jumping on the thing. While the armorweave in the lining of his leather jacket could have protected him from the shockwave and the shrapnel, the canine seemed like the sort to use baradium out of spite. No amount of armor would save him, and chances are, they were all going to be dead here shortly.
Make a run for it and hope you get out of the blast radius? Nah. The big merc was tired of dealing with crap like this. Everywhere he went, it was the same story. Show up, try to do some good, only to have everything undone by some asshole with an inferiority complex.
Four seconds left. Gulliver turned to the man-wolf-thing.
"You know what? Fuck you."
And now towards the Morellian.
"Fuck you."
To the Ubese.
"And you as well."
And with that, he turned on his heel and headed back inside the bar. If he was going to die on this night, it would be in pursuit of a beer.
2 seconds left by his count as he strode through the door.

Arn wasn’t sure of Ty’s logic with wanting to confront the gun wielding, grenade juggling egomaniacs when he could just let them kill each other, but he would always have his comrade’s six. There was however the slight issue of only being armed with his combat knife. He drew the blade and held it up for Ty to see what he had to work with. One drawback of his current job was not being able to come to work armed to the teeth. Still, Arn could do more damage with that knife than most could do with a canon.
Grav grinned a mile wide when Ty suggested he look after Mirania. “I’ll keep her safe.” he replied, before turning to the young woman. “Just stay close to me, babe.”
Arn was about to glance around from his cover again when night seemed to turn to day. It was only for a moment, but Arn was sure glad that he was not looking when that thing went off.

The flash went off and blinded him temporally. The bang was worse and about shattered his eardrums. He crouched down in pain as he emptied his magazine in the general direction the mutt had gone. Of course he wouldn't hit anything but he was pissed off all to hell now and wanted to make sure they new it.
"Next time I aim for you heart mutt, not your hand you mangy sack of shit!"
He went and at sat on the curb while he regained his senses. Between the booze and the flash bang his head was gonna be pounding in the morning. He reloaded his pistol and holstered it while rubbing his eyes.
"I gotta lay off the booze."

Ty was about to step out into the street when he saw the grenade fly and he quickly turned and took cover in the alley over the girl to shield her from the blast. And as he waited for the blast he knew that if he survived that he and the Mysterious Man were going to have words about the manner in which this recruitment was handled, and that if he is going to be involved any further that he was going to be calling the shots in decisions like this. The way things were done were reckless and dangerous and he wouldn't have it. But waiting for the inevitable blast Ty only sees a glimpse of daylight cast on the walls of the alley and hears the bang, and he immediately knew that it was just a flashbang. Luckily for him he wasn't looking at the blast when it happened, nor was he in range for the loud bang to affect him greatly.
He stood up and brushed himself off then helped the girl to her feet. I must apologize Miss, I was hoping to make it out there in time to defuse the situation before it came to this. Are you alright?

Mirania grimaced slightly when the man in the suit suggested that one of his cohorts look after her, and she could smell the alcohol on this "Grav's" breath. How a drunk man was going to protect her was beyond her. Her train of thought was interrupted when the man suddenly crouching over her, as if to shield her from a blast, but it never came, save for a loud bang. Some explosion...
Sighing, she stood up and holstered her blaster, thinking that she probably wasn't going to need it from here on out. Looking up at the man, she nodded."I'm fine. Which way to the spaceport?" It was time for her to leave this place now, before something else happened...

It seemed the wolf-man had been willing to give up his information peacefully after all. Bravassa was pleased with that, it seemed the wolf-man was willing to work with the Ubesian again meaning he may not wind up being a threat to Bravassa during the conflict they had been thrown into. If anything he could act as backup which was something Bravassa would like in a conflict with so many different mercenaries armed with such a variety of equipment. The wolf-man made it fairly clear that he had a distaste for the mercenaries who came out of the bar and Bravassa had a good feeling that meant he could count on the mercenary to focus on them over Bravassa in the case things got bloody. Things moved quickly as the wolf-man pulled the explosive out and showed it to the group, clearly the rest of the group wouldn't have any idea what kind of explosive he used but Bravassa had worked alongside him long enough to know the wolf-man's tactics. He made it pretty clear to Bravassa what the reason for pulling out such an explosive was, he wanted to create a diversion that they could escape with, fairly clever for the canine.
Now Bravassa relaxed just slightly and prepared for the escape. His hand moved from the thermal on his belt back to his blaster in the case he'd need to run and gun away from the area. He counted in his head the seconds until the thing would explode. One second as the wolf-man made his threat to the group that had followed them. Two seconds and the drunken mercenary had decided to take a shot at the wolf-man well the pink fleshy woman fled the scene for the alleyway, clearly not having the same stomach for combat as the rest of them did. Three seconds and Bravassa could hear movement and talking from the alley where the girl had run to, Bravassa's attention now split as he kept that area within his peripheral vision well he watched the wolf-man throw the grenade. Four seconds and the wolf-man had already started running, Bravassa wasted no time as he drew his blaster to hold in his hand well he sprinted after the wolf-man in the opposite direction of the explosion that was about to come.
Five seconds and the explosion came. Bravassa was sure that the wolf-man wouldn't have cared if Bravassa had been left behind there, blinded and stuck in whatever mess was left over afterwards. The Ubesian would not be so foolish though. Fleeing the scene quickly as blaster bolts seemed to fly past him, nearly missing him but luckily still missing their mark. He debated firing back at them well he ran but thought it would be nothing more then a waste of his ammo, he wasn't even certain they were in the same positions they had left them in let alone the fact that he wasn't certain he even had the accuracy to pull off such a shot. So instead his focused stayed on running with the wolf-man having a solid lead over him, it was hard to keep up with him given the fact that the wolf-man had those canine features which gave him such a physical advantage over the Ubesian. It seemed to Bravassa it was time to get off this damnable planet.

With paws to pavement I kept moving, putting distance between them and me fast. I could hear the shots being fired and I saw one streak ahead past me, thankfully it did not make any contact. My only goal now was to get to the space port and get off this god forsaken rock, and its alcoholic induced patrons. With all the hassle I would have been better off somewhere else, though I did run into Bravassa, which usually meant there was work to find shortly after. I figured if there was one place to go that would allow me to meet up with that women, and Bravassa again was the Spaceport. Though Why I wanted the women to be there I don't know, but something about working with a force user seemed like it might be a good idea. They had there usefulness in tight places. Twisting right and left through streets and alleyways I made it to Spaceport quickly. Thanks to being able to move on all four compared to the rest of these species.
Coming to a stop a stood back up onto my hind legs and looking around. I raised my face up and let out a loud and loud howl, several people around taking note of me and walking around me instead of near me. I waited for a moment my head swaying back and forth from my right to my left. My ears twitching as they caught up different sounds, but stood straight when I heard the distant howling come back. Good my companion was safe, and making his way back here. He knew the routine, if we had to run take separate routes. Easier to get away, and he knew that if he got captured I would come back guns firing.
I wondered about for a bit, before taking a seat down and placing one hand on, one of my pistols. I sat there waiting watching the crowds coming and going, as shuttles landed. It was only a short wait before I saw the familiar four legged beast coming. Ahh Kyst had made it back unharmed, and as he made his way to me he slowed his tongue rolling out the right side of his mouth as he started panting. I reached out with my free hand scratching the top of his head when he returned. When Kyst had enough he curled up by my feet laying down. Now where, were you Bravassa, I know you have a to have a ship here some where. Or at least you did the last time I saw you.

The quickest way is the way I came in, take the first left, then right, and it will take you straight there. I'd be happy to walk you there if you'd like, make sure you get there safely. The offer was genuine, and his tone and smile expressed that, not that she could 'see' his smile, but she should be able to sense his aura enough to tell that he was being truly kind and had no ill-intentions. My name is Ty by the way. He said as he extended his hand toward her to shake and make formal introductions.Typically it would be frowned upon for someone in his position to willingly give their real name to anyone but Ty saw no harm in introducing himself by first name only, after all, Ty was a common name in some areas of the galaxy, and without a last name there wasn't much to be found about him on the holonet. And besides, he didn't perceive her as any sort of threat, she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Mirania shook her head, glad for the offer, but now that the hostilities had ceased, she didn't foresee anymore issues from here on out."I appreciate it, but I can handle myself from here." She smiled and grasped his hand in a handshake."I'm Mirania. Let's hope we meet under more peaceful circumstances next time." She doubted that they would actually meet again, but one never knew what the future held. In any case, it was time to leave and catch a flight offworld, hopefully somewhere a little more peaceful."Thanks for looking out for me."
With that, she turned and followed the directions he gave her, heading for the spaceport.

Arn cautiously step back out from cover to make another assessment of the scene. Two of the individuals had left under the distraction of the blast, while one had returned inside, and the last had holstered his weapon. It seemed like the situation had resolved itself, not that Arn was going let down his guard… ever. He sheathed his knife though, and helped Gravicus to his feet.
“Woah, that was exciting! Definitely deserves a drink.” Grav said as he dusted himself off. He watched Mirania leaving for long enough to be a little weird, and then turned to Ty. “You up for a round, boss?” he asked. “Arn’s buying.” he said with a grin.
Anyone that knew Arn would know that he did not partake in any recreational indulgence that could dull his keen senses, and also that he would not find it worth bothering to invalidate Grav’s statement with a response. He did however have questions of his own. Normally Arn would keep to himself, and not inquire into other’s business, but given the fact that he had not seen another Ace since returning from a rescue mission to find the base destroyed, the situation called for it. There was that, and the fact that Ty was a great source of intel for if anything dangerous were to be going down, which might be the case if he was here. “We need to talk.” He simply stated.

I reached out with my free hand scratching the top of his head when he returned. When Kyst had enough he curled up by my feet laying down. Now where, were you Bravassa, I know you have a to have a ship here some where. Or at least you did the last time I saw you. It was a tough task to follow the canine through the alleyways of the city. The wolf-man had an advantage in speed that Bravassa just could not seem to meet as he watched the wolf-man slowly but surely get to far ahead of him until finally he couldn't see the wolf-man any longer. At the very least Bravassa was certain he had managed to get far enough away from the group they had encountered earlier that he could stop for a moment to catch his breath. He had used a significant amount of energy trying to keep up with the canine and it had worn him out faster than if he had simply ran at his own pace. As he caught his waited to catch his second wind he tried to piece together where the wolf-man had been running off to. Bravassa tried to think about any important areas of the city had been in that direction when he remembered the spaceport. It seemed to Bravassa like the most logical place the canine could have been on his way to, just like Bravassa the canine had wanted to get off the planet as soon as he could. Hopefully he'd be able to catch him there before he took off. After all they had been interrupted during their conversation earlier and he saw this as his best chance at finding some work for the future. He had rested long enough now as he decided to make his own way to the spaceport. Bravassa had no clue in which direction the wolf-man had gone but he had least knew how to get to the spaceport on his own. Attempting to catch the wolf-man before he left may not exactly been possible but Bravassa had a feeling the wolf-man was just as interested in finishing their conversation as he was on his way to the spaceport. As he finally arrived at the spaceport he stopped to scope out the area for the canine who proved to have made himself significantly more visible than Bravassa had anticipated. Their he was standing in the spaceport, petting his tiny mutt when Bravassa arrived. Something about the scene struck Bravassa as amusing as he watched this fairly large mutt petting the much smaller mutt, a pet petting a pet! It was so strange it seemed ridiculous to the Ubesian. But it was sights like this that had become a common occurrence for Bravassa ever since he was taken from his home planet and thrust out into the universe. Bravassa only watched this scene for a moment before approaching the two, his body much less tense and battle-ready now as he confronted them in the spaceport. Wolf-man it appears we escaped unscathed from that precarious situation. Bravassa has to thank you for the unexpected diversion, Bravassa was certain Bravassa would need to waste his ammunition taking down those pink fleshy beings. It seems that even your little hound had managed to get away without being captured or shot by those foolhardy drunkards. Good that leaves us in a great position to continue from where we left off before those creatures had interfered in our affairs. Bravassa needs work and apparently so do you! Maybe you have an idea for how us old mercenaries can get some credits in this slime-hole section of the universe!

Mirania made her way through the city towards the spaceport, glad that at least some of the people there were decent folks. She had been to a few places during her travels whose populations were far from pleasant. The situation today could have been worse, but at least she hadn't been hurt, and to her knowledge, no one else had really been hurt.
She entered the spaceport and started looking around for a transport, not caring too much about where to go next. Though maybe this time she would visit a nice, peaceful planet.
Her train of thought was interrupted when she cast her sight on two familiar figures, and she sighed when she recognized the wolf-man and his apparent rival. They weren't nearly as tense as they had been outside the pub, but the Miraluka woman kept her guard up as she moved towards them. She addressed the wolf-man first."So...we're all good here? No more fighting, right?"

Ty only smiled and nodded as she declined his offer, and smiled once more as she introduced herself. Mirania, it's a pleasure. A fair hope, but Ty didn't see them meeting again. Indeed, and you're welcome. He watches her walk away making sure she was gone before he turned to Arn.
We certainly do, He patted him once on the back, and we will, I promise. Ty wanted nothing more than to talk to his friend, but his business here to precedence over his own personal desires, which is why he was partly relieved that Mirania declined his offer to see her safely to the spaceport. He had to make sure to take note of the mercenaries that had fled from the standoff, it was possible they could be ran into again and that was something that they needed to be prepared for.He scratches his chin and looked to the bar then to Arn. But first I have to take care of something. C'mon, we'll do it together, it'll be like old times. He nodded toward the bar and started to walk that way.

Clark watched as the two men appeared from the alleyway and headed towards the bar. The fellow in the white coat looked like the type who might know where work was to be found. Nether looked hostel so that was a good thing, he stood and lit the stub of a cigar as he approached. Hands raised ever so slightly.
"Nice suit hoss. Little formal for these parts don't ya think? Enjoy the show did ya?"

I had waited a bit but finally, I saw what I was looking for. Bravassa had arrived and though taking his sweat time getting here he appeared in no harm, which meant that none of the shots had hit anyone. Good One day I may enjoy coming back to this place, and it would be better to not be wanted for murder. Well part one of his reason for coming here was done, he had some mild entertainment. Now he was ready to move on to business. When Bravassa approached i motioned with my right hand to take a seat, as I myself took one. Kyst looked at both of us knowing what to expect and merely shut his eyes letting out a wimper and falling asleep. When he addressed the issue of work again I raised my hand once against scratching my lower jaw. I still believed using his ship to travel somewhere else would be a good idea, and I needed more tools. So maybe I could squeeze by using Bravassa to take me to get the right tools I was looking for, and also look for work. We were both good marksmen, so if anything we made good hired hands.
Not yet, but I figured since you have a ship and how you like to just horde shit. You might need some work done to it, and if so we might travel around a bit. I need more tools since...MINE, vanished on are last mission. So we can at least head to a few more places and look for work. This way its a little lighter on both of us trying to travel to look for work!
While speaking to him, i was surveying the spaceport, after what Happened i figured it would be best to keep my eyes out for trouble. Though most of the time it was me causing it. That's when I noticed it. Normally I wouldn't have thought much of it, but I saw the short women appear in the space port after a few. I recognized her as the one from back at the bar, based on the scent I was picking up and her size. Not to mention the hood covering her face. All markers that I had kept in case later down the road we ran into each other. Details, its what i was good at. Now she had caught wind of us and she seemed to be making her way towards the three of us, obviously wanting to speak. Though after are last encounter I would have expected her to walk away, but she seemed unharmed and willing. So she might be of some use, maybe a distraction to other males. She drew a few of them, and i was unaware of any other talents she may have at this time. She said a force user, but that entailed a lot of things. Not being one, made me not rush to assume she knew this or that.
No, unless I feel threatened or Insulted again. Though it was not my intention to start that ordeal, but being insulted and the later confronted cause me to take a naturally hostile stance. As for him Pointing towards Bravassa He is an old colleague of mine. Who I was not expecting to see again, nor totally ready to deal with again so soon.. But opportunity comes in many faces these days.
I sat back with a smile at my own comment. I looked back and forth between the two to study them and see what they had to say.

Arn followed Ty toward the bar. He was initially off put by the crowd that had gathered to see what the explosion was, but they quickly lost interest again, returning to their evening’s entertainment. He kept his wits about him though, especially as Clark spoke up. The unstable combination of alcohol and firearms made him nervous, not that it showed. Everyone’s weapons were secure, and as long as they stayed that way, he wouldn’t need to react. He continued to mind his position, footing, body language (or lack thereof), and kept cover close and exit strategies in check. Just like everyone else, right?
Grav made the most of the distraction from the bar to jump a few queues and order up. Somehow, he was already walking back to a table with his arms full of drinks before the others even got inside.

Mirania made a mental note to stay on the wolf-man's good side, having already received a demonstration of what happened when one too many idiots got on his nerves. Of course, one of those idiots was standing right there, though the wolf-man indicated that he was an old colleague. Nearly blowing up the block probably wasn't the best way for two old colleagues to get reacquainted with each other, at least in her opinion, but then, she was inclined towards non-violence for the most part.
She sighed softly and dug around in her pocket for a moment.."I see. Well I hope tha-...oh dang it..."Not enough credits for a transport off world. She sighed again."I'm short on credits."She knew that this would be going out on a limb asking either one of these men for transport, but it was either this or slave away in a bar or hospital for a bit until she had enough for a transport."Are you heading off world?"

Bravassa nodded towards the canine as the canine motioned for the Ubesian to take a seat. Glancing down at the tiny mutt well he took his seat; he could notice the mutt’s reaction to the two agreeing to sit down for their own kind of business meeting. The Ubesian laughed held back a laugh at the over-exaggerated reaction the little mutt seemed to have. That only lasted for a moment though as the wolf-man spoke and made a comment about the disappearance of his tools during the pair’s last mission together. The comment was enough to elicit a laugh from the Ubesian. He leaned forward to respond to the wolf-man but was interrupted by the arrival of the girl from earlier, pulling himself back as he turned to face the girl. It seemed she also had a bit of an incorrect perception on the relationship between Bravassa and the wolf-man as well. Though the two may seem hostile towards each other it didn’t change the fact that Bravassa thought of the canine as a capable mercenary and useful partner after the last few contracts the pair had taken.
He examined the small girl more closely now and could see that she was blind. What sort of skills did she possess? Bravassa thought to himself. She seemed to see the two of them perfectly fine; maybe she had a very special ability after all. One that Bravassa’s people happened to have such a deep-seeded hatred towards. The Ubesian considered finding out for himself what she was but thought better of it. As things stood he wouldn’t kill the girl but if she proved to be one of the Jedi after all, well in that case even the Ubesian who had long since been separated from his own people wouldn’t be able to hold back his species inbred hatred of the Jedi. Bravassa’s attention was turned back towards the wolf-man again as the canine spoke towards the small blind woman. He found himself smirking behind his helmet at the canine’s comment about not expecting to see the Ubesian again. Indeed there meeting had been quite the coincidental one on both sides.
The blind woman seemed to start digging in her pockets as the wolf-man finished speaking only to come up empty on what the Ubesian assumed would be credits. This suspicion confirmed as she asked the two of them about heading off world. Bravassa laughed now as he spoke up, his tone sly as he gave the blind woman his proposition.
Indeed the canine has a point. Opportunity comes in many faces and Bravassa thinks he may see another one on the horizon. Bravassa has his own ship in which to travel with. It seems to Bravassa that the two of you both require some sort of ride to your next destination and as the mutt seems to be willing to work with Bravassa on acquiring new contracts he has already managed to pay Bravassa back for generously giving him that ride. As for you blind woman, Bravassa’s wondering what you will do to pay for your ride on his transport? If Bravassa may be so bold, Bravassa has a proposition for you that he thinks the canine would enjoy as well. In exchange for a trip off world, Bravassa asks you to help with the acquiring of new tools for the mutt. The wolf-man had generally donated all his tools to Bravassa previously and requires more to practice his trade. If you’re not interested in joining us in helping acquire more tools for the wolf-man in exchange for a ride then I’ll also mention that there may be a few credits in it for you if you do help.

Enjoy the show did ya?" It was a question that he had heard many times, but people always noticed the suit, they remembered the suit, and more importantly they typically made assumptions based on the suit. Some good, some bad, but more often than not something that could help him with whatever it was he needed done, the suit was a strategic choice rather than a stylistic one...though it was pretty stylish. He laughed lightly as he continued to walk. So it is. Thank you for noticing. The question now could be whether or not he was being cocky? Was it also a comment on Clark pointing out the obvious or was it a comment about Ty acknowledging that his suit looked good? And also why was he thanking him? Was it because because Ty knew his suit looked good, or because Ty was flattered by the comment? The world may never know because Ty decides to let everyone take their own interpretation of the statement, after all this was not the reason he was here. The show? It was--brief, but expected, I'd like to talk to you about it if you've got a minute. Ty noticed that Grav had already made his way inside and gotten a table, that was good, it meant he could get straight to work.He continued walking past Clark and toward the bar. Have your friend that was out here join us, he seems the type that would like to hear what I have to say. He said as he reached the door, he didn't turn to face the man once he had passed him, instead he merely raised his voice as he got further away so that it would carry across the distance. He opened the door and walked in, sat at the table with Grav and waited.

The man in the suit breathed an air of confidence. He looked, and acted as though he was quite well to do. To a merc that usually meant money. and when the man mentioned he wished to speak to Clark about "the show" the grizzled old veteran's interest was indeed peaked. But what about the other guy that had been involved? His last words before skipping out on the fight had not been particularly friendly. That being said if "the suit" had work, as was Colonel Quantrill's suspension it was worth a look.
Clark followed the well dressed stranger back into the bar. At the door the Morellian took a left and stepped up to the table where the other merc from the fight had returned to.
"Hey bud" he said as he approached "See that fella in the suit? He wants to talk to us 'bout the scuffle." Clark lowered his voice to a whisper "I don't normally let other guys in on my leads but he wants to talk to BOTH of use. I think he may looking to hire. What ya say?"
