If anyone has any details on who rp's on Hapes if anyone, if not then I will crack on, but I would like some people to rp with. My hope is to build this character into a political hopeful, hopefully he can run for Hapan Government and who knows maybe progress further up the political ladder. I have no experience in this area and any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I am also hoping for an interesting life for my character with some dodgy dealing and under handedness along the way which I feel is unavoidable in quest for power.

Hapes is, I think a member of the Republic on JvS. I also think the Republic writers are looking for someone to take ownership of it and write its Senator. Check out the Galactic Republic planning thread, and get in touch with the main Republic writers on there

Also, you might want to convert your character to a female, if you catch my drift . . . .

Will has a point. Males don't have power in Hapan society...

I had a group of Lorell Raiders rebelling against the NOE when they had control of Hapes. I'd be willing to bring them back if we could come up with something interesting for them, either still as pirates or as members of the Noble class made so due to their efforts against the Sith, I'm willing to play with either possibility.

Also, you might want to convert your character to a female, if you catch my drift . . . . I do, Isolder ruled though...I guessed it was possible but I can swap him to female, the name is pretty unisex but I can change that also. Might be fun writing a female. I will get on with posting in the Republic thread, thanks for your help and yes certainly Will the more the merrier, because if you think I have any idea how to write a political leader or a ruler or what have you, well........it's all new.

Pawn, my primary character, is a Falleen. He'd be quite willing to help you rule/run Hapes. He runs a small mercenary outfit, and would be an ideal security adviser, though his gender would probably keep him from getting any higher than that.
Also, Xizor ruled Black Sun, not Hapes, at home he was relatively powerless, as opposed to his otherwise nearly galactic influence.

I am only looking for an aide whilst Ana is young, once she is older and events unfold she herself will rule, or so is the plan. Feel more than free to write with me on Hapes once I get started though.

That's fine, I just thought it'd be a nice IC reason for me to help out as needed. Also advisers can be fired, or executed if that suits you better, when there usefulness has come to an end. Besides which Pawn would be a fairly hands off adviser, once he was convinced that you had sufficient skill to not jeopardize the system. (for instance, you'd learn not order them to make a tactical mistake, so he'd stop reading your orders before passing them on to the military units, etc.) That's an extreme example, but it's the best I could summon at will.
