As the Overseer's ship transitioned back to real space, the ship continued onwards, towards the agriworld of Kinyen. With the intent of taking over as Overseer of this world as well, Overseer Kane expected resistance, though for the time being, no one actually knew just how fractured and broken the Blackguard truly was. Provided Kane could keep things together at this end, perhaps she could carve a larger swath of territory for herself? She already oversaw an major shipyard and if she acquired Kinyen, she's control the majority of the Blackguard's food supplies, which gave her a strong bargaining position, should anyone else come to test their mettle against her. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, however. A broken Imperium could still be pieced back together, if there were enough people willing to maintain it. Though she was also preparing for the eventual total collapse of the Blackguard, readying a contingency plan, just in case. As the ship descended towards Hekaras, Kane would find out soon enough, if Kinyen would fall in line under her rule or not...
