Hello, just as the Whill says above: this is a great place to stop by with any questions of what is going down and how you can get plugged in here at the heart of the Hapes Consortium. I am Will Son'tir, among other things I am an IC Jedi High Council member and I also play a key member of the Republic, but OOC here I have agreed to be a co Steward of the Hapes Consortium with Ana Rhian prepping to take the helm. If you have any questions or concerns I or *her* (wink) are great people to send your questions to.

Ok, so as I said on the other thread, in the past I was RPing the Hapans, and where I last left things, the Queen Mother was presumed killed by a Sith occupation, but the Sith had been thrown out once more, and Hapes had rejoined the Republic. The previous Queen Mother's granddaughter Emelie Ka was the heir to the throne, but as she was 5 years old, a long time Hapan military commander (one of the few males in such a role), Willis Djo, was serving as protector. At Ana Rhian's suggestion, we were thinking of moving ahead as if some time had passed, and Emelie is now the well established Queen Mother (possibly even at the end of her reign). I think that also means Djo would have died of old age by now. Other than that, I am quite open to ideas - given the time gap, there is room to add almost back story imaginable. I don't intend to, or have the time to, be involved as the Queen Mother long term, so I welcome the opportunity to pass the throne to Ana Rhian. I just want to see Hapes in good hands, and written in a way that respects the canon Hapes Consortium. Oh, and I do love their ships, too.  I believe my Dmitri Koronov alt holds the business registration for those. I'd be happy to transfer that, too, so long as I can come back and buy the odd starfighter... |

I doubt old patents carry over. Nor have I really seen them. . .matter IC.
But yea sounds good, where can we engineer conflict domestically? I am terrible at setting up RP, great at providing roles and responding to them. I hate setting them up. :-P

Like I said on the other one, I am willing to help. This character is tied up as a crew member on the Draykon Crew, but she has a sister she left back on Hapes I have been wanting to RP. She is Tabula Rasa shall I say, a blank slate and can really provide anything you need. She is young, at 19...but Hapan royalty who knows the court. So let me know what you are looking for and I will create her ASAP

Ok I'm back and ready to kick things off.
I wish to retain continuity so Emelie Ka is the current and indeed dying Queen Mother, a plot idea that will hopefully bring some Jedi to Hapes or the Queen to the Jedi, either way Ana gets to meet the Jedi.
The best place to start of for me is to write that out really, write out the Queen is unwell and the transition of Ana gaining more responsibility and roles.
I was also going to run with the idea that Hapes has been somewhat in economic decline and therefore in need of development and in need of getting its economy going again.
Nika welcome aboard. You can slot in as an aide or adviser, depends where you think you can rp best and what you are going to enjoy writing.

Hey guys. So I previous expressed interest in joining in her when Ana originally brought up this RP idea.
My character assisted in the over throw of the Sith from the Consortium and is the Arch Duchess of Jodaka (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jodaka).
I'm thinking of making her a more aggressive character. She makes it obvious that one day she may attempt to take the place of Queen Mother, but for now keeps to her place as a Duchess of the Consortium. Her thoughts will more then likely drift to finding Ana to be a Republic puppet, but most likely wont ever say it to her face or even in the same building as her, but she'll wont hide her hostilities.
So...where should I come in?

I'm going to largely make this up as I go, so you're largely free to insert yourself however you can. I would like to keep the current SL in the observation tower to just Emelie and Ana for the time being, however, so that we can establish our IC relationship a little bit better. I am proceeding as if no one yet knows that the Queen Mother is sick, but I will be including hints for Ana to slowly discover what is happening.

That works. I'm thinking of introducing her in some kind of party where she is bragging about how the exotic sea foods served are hers and how great her business has been going and how she is creating a sea food empire out of a forgotten water world. lol
I'll be keeping an eye out for how things progress here and in the mean time, I think I'll start setting up Scarlett's operations on Jodaka (in the Orbit thread so we dont need to make more threads)

First post is up in Orbit! Let me know what you guys think since we as a group are basically making up our own details for the rest of the 61 (Hapes and Kavan excluded) planets of Consortium. I can't remember what Title the political representatives of each world held so I've been establishing Dukes and Duchesses so far, but if you guys have read the Courtship of Princess Leia or any other Hapan related novels of late and know for sure (since Wookiee isn't being blatant with me lol) let me know and I'll adjust accordingly.
I should have another post up this afternoon for you all to enjoy and hope to progress to Hapes in the not to distant future to speak with the Queen Mother about expanding my enterprise, potentially outside of the Transitory Mists (since all business decisions all must be conducted on Hapes).
On a side note, Scarlett Fisheries is just an RP hook for me and not an economic business for the GEC or what have you, especially since it would be difficult to set up an HQ thread on a planet that doesn't possess a forum of its own. Haha

Hi guys sorry I haven't posted on here in a while but I have made a post in response Kel.
This is great to see this grow, we already have a good few in number and if you guys are willing I don't see why we couldn't make the Consortium a sub group, Scarlet I can see you maybe rising to some Admirality position or even as an agent, depends on what you feel.
Aliya feel free to jump in once events have concluded between Ana and her Mother, plus any other aides, being aides she may confide in you somewhat so that could be good, voice her concerns and look for advice support.
Nika, not sure what you want to do, perhaps you could shadow Aliya, no reason for you to be left out in the cold.

Actually, I've leaned towards a more, political position. As Arch Duchess of Jodaka, she has also started up an exotic fish trade and is dispersing it throughout the Consortium (Though her current transports only hold 150 metric tons....so I'm planning an eventual upgrade). I'm actually planning on bringing her to Hapes soon for a mandatory consultation with the Royal Assembly about acquiring aquatic defense vessels, since all such things must be conducted, in person, on Hapes as says the Royal decree known as Wookieepedia lol
I figure its a good way to introduce her to the Queen Mother and the rest of you Royal types lol
While she is a Duchess, she is also a pirate at heart, so don't be surprised at her mannerisms (just look at my posts in Orbit and you'll get an idea lol)
