I'm back. Life got crazy for a few months, but I am back to RP. Anything going on that my padawan and I might get involved in?

With the dissolution of the Republic, we are going to need an NPC government for the Five Worlds, even just in a very minor background status, to authorize alliances or military actions or whatever else. I am planning an RP that will make Koronov the head of that government. I am imagining dueling forces between a faction that wants to re-establish the monarchy, and a faction that wants to keep a democratic government. There could also be isolationist elements, and pro-Alliance elements.
However, the question I have for everyone else is whether you have any strong opinions about the structure?
I am thinking all we need is a head of state (Prime Minister), and a Corellian Council with 5 members (one to represent each planet). And we don't necessarily need to fill all five spots. We can just create a new NPC when we need one for story purposes. I do have an existing NPC which I would like to put on the council however. He'd a pacifist -- could be useful at some point!

Corellian Council (Corellia) - open
Corellian Council (Drall) - Hadrig (my NPC former Senator)
Corellian Council (Selonia) - open
Corellian Council (Talus) - open
Corellian Council (Tralus) - open
And then for our military forces, we probably don't need a Minister of Defense (over all of CDF, CorSec, and shipyards). We can go with Admiral Jacen Korr as Supreme Commander of the CDF, and someone else can be head of CorSec later on, if needed.
Thoughts?
I am going to go over our ground and space defenses and make sure they are legal at some point, too. (I think Corellia is set, less sure about the other planets)

well, seeing as I've kind of got Talus (still using the Temple there for Rawkill's home base), I'm probably just going to NPC Avanoraa as the representative for Talus, if that's ok?
As a thought, maybe Talus and Tralus can be represented together? kind of a return to the Double Worlds Fed perhaps?

I know I'm probably going to be doing some posts for the FWMC on Selonia, Ice might be too (dont quote me on that), so, we might put forth an NPC Selonia for that. A Selonian named Neleste!

I can NPC the Corellian council member for Corellia when the time comes one is needed, and I am pretty sure I also have a NPC somewhere that was the head of CorSec and can still be if needed to be.
As for everything else, I dig your ideas, so say we make them so

I can NPC an Admiral or General of CorSec as well, so there's more of an appearance that Corellia is well in control of its Five Worlds (as it would be with CorSec's notorious presence). I can also bring my char to Corellia if need be (Corellian-born).

More CorSec NPCs would be great. I don't know that we necessarily *need* you right now, but the door is always open if you want your PC to visit. I will keep you in mind if we ever have an "emergency" and need some backup  |

Good question. Since Duro doesn't exist on JvS, he doesn't exactly have a homeworld to defender and protect. Does he already know anything about the Alliance, or is that going to be a new discovery for him, like it will be for my characters?

Doesn't know anything about the Alliance right now. He is more or less blind to the developments on Mon Cal.
And yeah, surprised Duros isn't on the JvS forum. I thought it did once exist.

It did. It never saw a lot of RP after the early days of 1.5. I took control of it a couple of times but never figured out what to do with it.
Alright, my mistake, I assumed IC that you knew more. Aerandir is making comtact with Corellia so that will be our way into the Alliance.
So are you offering up Zemad to become part of the CDF, or do you want to report directly to the Alliance, or what? I guess you don't need to decide immediately, but I'm not sure what the IC chain of command should be.

Just verified this with Aer.
The CDF would exist as a branch of the Alliance military once Corellia and her sector join. So Zemad could join the CDF and still be a part of the Alliance.

Hello everyone! I've been talking with Serrin Roma in a PM about joining the Corellian Jedi Academy. My character's going to be a senior Jedi Master who, as I described to Roma, will function best as a person of high authority because of his rather critical and judgmental nature. Because of this, she approved of me being a new Headmaster of the Academy, a position I won't be abusing for any ends IC, I'm interested in interplanetary relations with other Jedi/quasi-Jedi factions and sub-factions, and I'm interested in supervising investigations of Imperial activity in the galaxy. My character's not setting out to be liked - I'd imagine there could be a number of personality clashes and difficulties in getting along at times, but in the end, my character has the best interests of the Jedi at heart.
