Greetings all. I am new to JvS and have just posted my request to land on Corellia. Due to IRL concerns, I can't get into anything long and involved at the moment but I read of your need for entrepreneurs... Han is currently "on the run" but wants to settle down. If it's acceptable, I'd like to have him open up a tavern (or some such) from which he can tell his tale, have some short interactions, etc. Of course, this business of his is doomed to fail as he will, eventually, be forced to flee once again. If this is not acceptable.... well, I guess I'll just be as involved as I can and keep my posts on the shortish side.
I look forward to writing with y'all and reading the world you've created.

Welcome to JvS Han!
Opening a tavern or whatever you might ultimately decide upon to tell your character's tale is absolutely acceptable, so do please certainly feel free to do so  If there is anything you'd like to see in terms of interaction (NPC or otherwise) from us to help tell the tale you'd like to tell, feel free to post here or PM me, and I will do what I can to see that it happens.

Greetings, Han. I love the name. As a long time Corellian writer, I'm looking to get this character active again, but like you, I face IRL challenges with committing to anything long term. If you open a tavern, I'll definitely find a reason to visit.  |

Ah, so there IS interest in my little tavern. Excellent. I'll have the first post ready within the next 48 hours (or so). I look forward to a little interaction with Mike and Kel'Al and whoever else wanders by. I'll be putting The Tavern on the outskirts of Coronet City. Should I do this in the city's thread or the terrain thread? hmmm... Be warned; while Han's backstory has already been hinted at, the first posting at The Tavern will give background on Katrin (Han's ward) so please forgive the inevitable rambling. When the Republic broke up, I decided to bring back the Five Worlds as the government of the Corellian sector, but I never got very far in setting it up IC. It's not intended to be actively written so much as just to provide a background context and some job titles for folks who were part of the Republic in the past (and will eventually be a part of the Alliance). The structure we discussed was a head of state (Prime Minister), and a Corellian Council with 5 members (one to represent each planet). These could be NPCs or PCs. The posts we filled back then were as follows. All of this can be re-negotiated as needed. Prime Minister of the Five Worlds - Dmitri Koronov Corellian Council (Corellia) - TBD (NPC of @serrinroma ) Corellian Council (Drall) - Hadrig (NPC of Sara Ruluwoor ) Corellian Council (Selonia) - Neleste (NPC of @wilhelmvanbuuren ) Corellian Council (Talus) - Avanoraa (NPC of @rawkill ) Corellian Council (Tralus) - open - possibly Avanoraa, speaking for all of Fed Dub Supreme Commander of the CDF - Admiral Jacen Korr (NPC of Sara Ruluwoor ) - this could be for the whole sector, or just Corellia, doesn't really matter to me. We could use some CorSec officers eventually, but I'm not worried about the exact IC chain of command. Sara Ruluwoor , Adelle Bastiel , @serrinroma , and Graemon Gorgano all offered to write CorSec or CDF at one point or another There is of course as much room for political RP and intrigue as anyone might want. I am imagining dueling forces between a faction that wants to re-establish the monarchy, and a faction that wants to keep a democratic government. I will get to work on my NPC for the council so that he or she is ready to go when needed.
I have a few CorSec and CDF NPCs that I use when needed, so if/ when some are needed, they can be used. We might want to make a list here in the OOC thread of the higher ranking NPCS and their authors for reference and to make it easier for other players to reach out to someone with story ideas and so on. If we included info like availability and brief character bio's, it could potentially be helpful too. When I have a bit more time I will start a list if everyone thinks such a list would be useful.
I definitely like the idea of having some political intrigue type stuff to create potential stories for the NPCs, so will keep the ideas you have suggested in mind when creating my council NPC, who I am thinking will be in the re-establish the monarchy and remain isolationist camps.Hi, i'm new here, though not to Star Wars RP. Well i am used to writing a rebel/resistance fighter, so any defense related role would be cool. I have a ship that sort of ties in to my backstory, i would be pleased to put it at the disposal of the navy for the purpose of defending Corellia. I will get to posting. Thankyou for the welcome!

My memory of all this is a little hazy, but I will take your word that I agreed to it all. Most of it sounds like something I would be ok with. A list may very well be a very useful tool. It can help direct people towards the more active writers amongst us. As far as intrigue goes, I certainly know where Neleste will stand  |

I can confirm that Talus and Tralus will be represented within the five worlds government and within the wider Galactic Alliance as the Federation of the Double Worlds. So Avanoraa (or who ever I end up assigning to the council) will be representing both worlds.
