I believe I've made a mistake in not raising something sooner:
With Dunta gone and Serrin gone, we need some new people to help out and take active roles of OOC leadership on Corellia. We need to form a new "academy council" on both an IC and OOC level, and pick 2 or 3 people who will be OOC responsible for guiding new players and organizing planetary defense and other similar issues. Now, that's not to say that Mike and Will and myself (and maybe others) don't already do those things, but none of us are as active as we would like, and we need help if we want Corellia to continue to be great.

I've already brought this issue up with both Ael and Terra who has been helping out a lot lately (since July).
So to recognize them and their effort: thanks Ladies!
And to use the structure we have, Serrin Mike and I have been used as the rotating triumvirate of Headmasters, with Serrin mostly at the head. Me and Mike supported her where she needed it. Then I took over for a minute with Mikey supporting, and now Ael has been holding things together.
SO: I would like to welcome Ael to the circle of Corellian Masters. I would like to put forth Kel'Al as a Headmaster bring up someone to replace Serrin. And also recognize Kel'Al's utter devotion to the Corellian since . . .well since he was a teen learner. Very much like Serrin herself.
I would also like endorse Tera's placement as Ael's Padawan and support her knighthood being streamlined as quickly as she is comfortable with progressing. Tera has been a Padawan for a number of IRL years.

I tend to think we should have one single head master and then a small academy council of masters (as we did things under Tagert and under Dunta), but functionally, we're going to do the same work either way, so it may not matter.

This is how we have been laboring under this general structure for 3 or 4 years, and you're right-- it doesn't matter. Take the post of Headmaster, or just a Master Instructor. Whatever you feel comfortable.

I also want to thank our Mando collaborators who have seem to he the most consistent group I have been able to work with and forced me to take a hard look at myself and the organizations I am involved with.

Now that we have some new faces, as well as old faces that have returned, we should plan some new SLs here on Corellia (or on nearby worlds).
Any ideas out there? If not, I could see about bringing back our indigenous terrorist group, the Fist of Kast.

Nope, no new ideas. I have been doing my best to wrap up my current SLs, and reduce my number of responsibilities.
As you point out, it's important to bite off what you can chew; and right now i am choking.

Well, All I can give at this moment is 5 and her stuff... will have some info coming your way again in a post or two, less "Riddly". This one will be rather to the point this time.
Also, I do have IC knowledge of an Imperial takeover on a Core Republic world, if intrested. Other then that, a little slaver hunt, and maybe finding out more about 5, her recruit and her dealings on Corellia.

Hey all! I understand the Jedi are in something of a transition right now, so if nobody is available for RP/SL I'll happily pack up and ship my butt to Ossus or Coruscant for RPing.

I have a lot of npcs etc.. and there are two other newly arrived Jedi here. So... the call is up to you? Currently Eremiel, Jared, and myself (as Emilie - six year old padawan) are in the entrance thread, heading over to the mess hall for something of a natter I believe. Feel free to join?

Corellia, Honoghr, and Felucia are probably the three easiest places to get something going right now, depending on what you want to do with your character. Reason I leave out Coruscant from that list is because of the current meeting of the masters there: it might be easy to be lost in a crowd while they are discussing the Mandalorian war and alliance with the Dark Tide.
