Hey all, I am wondering where all the chiss are on the site like actual locations and how many of us there are?
I am playing a returning commander with my chiss destroyer and a full load of fighters from an age old war so naturally I will need some repairs at a dock and will need to report in to whom ever is in charge on my status and accomplishments as well as receive new orders and continue my exploration of the galaxy. My character official survived a slew of attacks on her chiss star destroyer but not without consequences to her body which will be explained in her biography at some point. Also I am up for employment in the future from either side be it the mando's, mercenaries, sith, jedi or the like.

Hello Ranye, this is Thrawn from the other site. Becca and I, who on the previous site were the only ones attempting to hold the Ascendancy afloat, have officially given up and thus created a story as to the current state of the Ascendancy (further described here - jedivsith.boards.net/post/10808/thread ). In short, the Ascendancy has been divided by Civil war, the Nuruodo house is basically extinct, and there is still a technical black out across Ascendancy space (since nobody ever NPCed any of the Colonies or the arrival/departure of supplies to/from Csilla) the planet is basically starving and freezing to death as well. We never quite had the chance to establish what became of the colonies, but its believed that an alliance of Alien races throughout the Unknown Regions have banned together to wipe out the Ascendancy since the Chiss have been policing them for a millennium. I know Becca is officially done dealing with the Ascendancy, but, if you can get a decent sized writing team together, I would be willing to come back, either with Corolon or with a new Chiss character and try to bring stability to the once great Ascendancy. I posted in illum's orbit Corolon. I was already playing the last of my house, so I definitely don't know that the ascendancy collapsed basically, perhaps someone could break the news to me once my body is taken care of.

It's really up to Becca at this point since I'm not sure exactly were to take this...I knew I wanted to establish the past history of the Ascendancy on the new site, but I'm still contemplating where to take my character now that he and his small commando/SWAT group have escaped the carnage.

Ya, Rayne has no clue that the Ascendancy has divided and practically come extinct. On top of that someone is going to have to fix her and give her basically a robotic prosthetic type of thigh down leg and a forearm from her injuries and some minor surgery. I look forward to the opportunity to role-play with you either in a Different timeline or during the current one.

Corolon can relate. He threw himself on a frag grenade in one of the past wars Becca and I threw at the Ascendancy to keep ourselves busy, he ended up loosing both legs and had his internal organs peppered with shrapnel so he's stuck in a life preserving suit. Getting robotic prosthetics isn't that hard to do, its the life saving surgery to the rest of ya that should be focused on in RP lol
And I'm up for current since your crew will probably be meeting whats left of mine on the Whip lol

Okay, works for me lol. I want to customize the prosthetic's to a small point. like have a small weapon in each, shouldn't be to the extreme of needing to submit to the Patent Office as these weapons already exist and would just be implemented in the prosthetic's themselves.

well as Thrawn has explained I gave up on trying to keep the Ascendancy afloat, but I will gladly lend you a hand to be given life saving surgery, prosthetic limbs (with weapons), and push you on off to Corolon

Perhaps, if your interested Ranye, once we are all fixed up to badassery, we could return to Chiss space to start formulating a resistance of some kind. Perhaps travel to some Colony worlds and begin piecing together what has become of them (each would be taken over by some kind of Alien warlord and we'd get to kick them off) before rallying the Colonies together to take down the bad peeps on Csilla, where we could have a separate team already ahead building an underground resistance to wait and strike out when the Colonies invade.....
but I'll understand if that sounds like a lot of work and writing, for such things have scared off every other Chiss player in the past :'(

The short and sweet answer is yes, they are basically dead.
Some stuff did happen, but it has somewhat died down for the time being.
