*Within the few minutes of settling in, Octavious enters a deep meditation since there were no immediate threats of interruptions be it physical, mental or emotional. Being what only could be described as heavily entrenched within the ebb and flow of the Force, Octavious enters a state of total peace and serenity. A glowing beacon of serenity that could be felt within a twenty block radius. Something hard to ignore. This is a standard thing amongst the Baran Do. To be around several members of the Baran Do whilst this occurs, is said to be one of the most peaceful experiences next to watching a child grow up happy or finding out that a lover is with child or feeling new life grow within. For some this might be extremely unsettling, as it is almost unnatural.*
*Octavious himself settles into this as he starts to focus on his visions. He searches almost desperately to find some alternative to the war occurring. The Baran Do themselves have gone underground. Hiding from what they truly feel is the purge to end all purges. There are so many endings, but none seems to have the best endings without some form of great sacrifice. Octavious sees Adieumus Matango fight Ashrah Intalbo, even with Intalbo hard to see within the Force he is seen nonetheless albeit vaguely. The fight is intense in any version he comes across. Whether Adi fights him in his armor or meets Intalbo on his terms, Adieumus Matango falls. Sometimes he is victorious and the Mandalorian purge stops all together, sometimes he is beaten very decisively and the purge continues unabated. Octavious sees many versions, with few chances of survival. Though it is troubling, Octavious is unshakably calm with a certain eeriness about it. The only trouble for Octavious would be how to break such bad news to such a champion of the light. This would be troubling for anyone. It would be doubly so if he had to break it in front of the man's family. Ice Matango doesn't take bad news very well. Especially if it concerns Adi's need to prove himself. Even with these thoughts and visions, Octavious continues to search for some type of hope.*

Jade walked in, the first to arrive...JUST as Adi had taken a massive bite from his nerfburger, and he looked up like a deer in the headlights, burger still half hanging out of his mouth. He made a 'MMMmrrRmPh' noise to show that he had seen her. He was also attempting to smile...but it was failing miserably...a chunk of bun fell out of his mouth, and ended up in his lap...much to his chagrin.
Not only was it embarrassing, there was a precious bite of the food now laying in his lap...and he was hungry.
Finishing the bite as rapidly as he could....along with grabbing the chunk of bun, and plopping it on an empty part of his plate, he wiped his hands on his napkin, took a quick drink from his iced tea, and finally was able to speak.
"You are just the first here. Dante Demici and Jace Stealer are on their way, along with Admiral Tza'uax as well, I believe. Im glad you are here first though....
Scratching his head, Adi sat back in his chair, the burger and hunger all-but forgotten.
What's with speaking Mando'a? I have been around enough Mandalorians to know when someone is familiar with their culture...and you seem to be a bit more familiar with it than I first thought. Do I need to worry about you on this mission? Because I cannot afford anything going wrong at this point. If we are discovered here before we are ready, it could mean that more than just the Yavinites getting annihilated. I fear that if -we- fail, the Mandalorians will steamroll anyone in their way...Jedi, Sith, or anyone helping them."
It was a no-bullshit, no-nonsense question/statement. Adi wouldn't be angry or upset if Jade felt she couldn't handle it, or felt ties to the Mandalorians....there were a lot of Jedi that would consider themselves friends with one Mando or another, Matango included. If she felt it was too close to home, he could have her do something else...Something not so directly attacking them, perhaps....
Dammit...Someone else showed up now too...Adi still needed a couple of minutes.
"Admiral, if you would be so kind to wait outside for a moment. If anyone else shows up, please, keep them outside until I give the all-clear. Jade and I are discussing a sensitive part of her mission to the MMP."
Turning back to Jade, he would wait til she answered.

"Anything decent to drink here?" I ask, ignoring Matango's faux pas with the nerfburger, though, if it was a few hours earlier I would probably have responded with a jibe. As it is, I am feeling shaken still, and a bit unsettled. A stiff drink would be good right about now. And then, there it was. I knew at some point that he was going to bring this up. I pondered where to begin, how much he needed to know, what I should tell... First, I make sure there is no one around to overhear. And then, I begin, speaking quietly, though distinctly, as I take a seat across from him.
"Though at first glance I appear to be human, I am not, Matango. Would you believe me if I said it was a slip of the tongue?" I riposte, meeting his gaze levelly. "Galactic Basic is not always easy for me, though in a universe of this size an odd accent does not really draw attention to itself. I am not fluent in Mando'a, though, I have had enough dealing with that civilization to appreciate the language as one who has been ostracized from their own kin, planet, and culture, can appreciate a phonetic and grammatical structure reminiscent of the one that used to be an instinct." I pause here, considering. My right hand rests loosely upon my left, both placed in front of me on the table. It is a bit incongruous to be discussing these matters over a large nerfburger, though I would have thought Adieumus' mouth big enough to handle it easily.
The things on the tip of my tongue to speak have been told to no other living being, and... part of me is not willing to share them. "Everyone has a history, Matango. I should think you know this more than many." My right eyebrow arches inquisitively at him as I continue, "I have many arrangements with a diverse group of people. To answer your question about my connections, I had dealings with Plu Or'dinii, as well as Admiral Z'har Or'dinii. Selaya, my vornskr that you seemed to get along with so well on Honoghr, was a gift from the latter after I beat him in a duel...however, all this is many years ago."
My head tilts to one side, I reach up and brush my hair behind my ear involuntarily, only then realizing that I inadvertently left it loose. My skin momentarily darkens and I am academically amused by the fact that a woman my age having seen what I have seen can still blush. Though I was not slouching before, my posture straightens infinitesimally, "My allegiance lies with honor and the Jedi Order, if you doubted it, I wouldn't be sitting here, Matango. I will not assassinate either Plu or," I hesitate slightly over the name, and then simply use the title, "the Admiral in the dark. I will fight them if I choose to do, openly, hand to hand, as it should be. Right now, I am simply attacking a military target. I have no problem with this." Something occurs to me and I lean forward ever so slightly, a hint of fire sparking in the depths of my green eyes. "Or should I? Are you hiding something from me?" The reply is mildly accusatory, just as his own question to me was in the first place.
Silence hung in the air for a few moments before Adieumus ordered the others to remain outside. Jade smiled slowly. She was a commander. Where Adi gave reasons, she would simply have ordered, or in this case requested, the latecomers to stay outside for a few minutes longer. It was a good thing there were no lesser 'staff minions' in the cafeteria with long ears for listening to sensitive information as Matango had just openly announced the topic under discussion!

"Hiding something? Nah...not in your part of the mission, anyway. I, too, know quite a few Mandalorians...Reyn Skirata and Plu Ordinii among them. -They- knew what it meant to be a true leader, over being a warmongering fool like their current top dog.
Thank you for answering with such honesty, Jade. I appreciate it. Truthfully, Plu isn't even on our radar right now, and I don't believe that your 'Admiral' friend has much, if anything, to do with your target, so I think we are good to go as far as entanglements...how's that?."
Indeed, Adi had known not only Plu and Reyn, but Talon Darknight as well. In fact, because of mercy shown upon one of his commanders, Adi had gained the protection of the Mandalorian Empire in LAN's early days, when they were a struggling, fledgling faction, just getting a foothold on Honoghr. There was excellent relations with them...up until Kaine Australis decided to break all ties. Even when Malice took over, the anti-Jedi/force user sentiment ran deep...for no reason it would appear, other than prejudiced idiocy...and it had carried over into this holy war against force users.
It was utterly ridiculous...but this is why the Jedi were here on Carida. Feeling well-satisfied with the answer she had given, it was time for a less-stressful subject and answer the earlier question.
"Drinks of an alcoholic nature are hard to come by here...but Mike should have some..he always carries an...ample supply. There is also the endo alternative that I prefer...but even that is in short supply right now, sorry. We -do-, however, have some excellent iced tea, if you'd like some? Maybe something to eat? I -did- offer to buy ya dinner."
He grinned, and began to get up.

'Admiral friend?' Jade suddenly smiled brilliantly. After all, he didn't need to know that the man had asked her her to marry him! And, at this point he didn't need to know either that Plu had nearly led the Mandalorian Empire to war on her behalf. She suddenly felt much lighter.
In spite of that I am still disappointed at the lack of Corellian Ale. Worse things have happened of course, but still, for a military establishment to be lacking in alcohol? What is the universe coming to! Perhaps I should have more assiduously cultivated this Mike Frantz of the clandestine beverages. 'Iced tea?' I am not familiar with this drink. Tea should be hot. It is a ceremonial beverage partaken of with solemnity according to the guest-friend bond. "What is this 'iced tea?'"
I follow suit and stand up as well. "I am thinking I shall now take you up on this dinner. And perhaps it's time to summon these 'others' for this conversation you hinted at?" With my military background I am comfortable with the 'need-to-know' basis of information sharing, and at this point, I have determined there is no need for Matango to know of what happened to me just a short time earlier while meditating. I am myself unsure of what it portends.

Ak-Akari was spending the night tinkering with his new X-wing, having had more than enough sleep recently. After checking to make sure the repair station was in good repair for the most part, covering over any problem spots that people could hurt themselves on (including the hole in the upper grating he had put his own foot through), he began to inspect the ship. The gravity compensator made his job easier to be sure, but part of him was disappointed; it would have been interesting to see how he fared after a couple weeks of high G's.
A while later, his inspection done, he stood up and rubbed his eyes with the heels of his hands. The ship had fairly basic systems for an Incom fighter, though this one was far more advanced than anything he'd ever flown. The manoeuvrability looked to be stellar and the fire-power was good for a personal fighter as well. It also had a shield generator of its own, and he'd had an interesting conversation with the ship's built in astromech droid. He'd have to decide whether the thing needed a memory wipe or not soon, though he'd always been one to avoid such things. He'd grown up away from droids and other similarly intelligent machines, and they still struck him as far too lifelike for things like memory wipes. He knew it was his own perception, but all the same it seemed wrong.
He sighed. "I'll have to give him a name then. Can't keep calling him R7-G whatever the rest of his career."
After a few more moments contemplating the ship he decided it was about time to get some food, the choice aided by a rumbling in his stomach. He headed into the hallways, trying to recall where the mess hall had been. He had a map of the facility, provided by Gregory, but Ak-Akari preferred to learn a place's layout if he was going to live there. As he went he began thinking through components and parts he wanted in his head, intending to see if he could get Adi to requisition them the next time he saw the man. He was starting to notice that though the two kept running into each other, a conversation seemed just as far from likely as it had been on Ossus.
"Ah well, if I can't find him I just ask Gregory what can be done about the parts. AND I KNOW YOU'RE LISTENING TO ME RIGHT NOW." he added, a little annoyed at nothing in particular.
His mind wandered a bit more as he walked. There were some interesting characters here to be sure, but two of them stood out most to him. Jade was the first, something seemed different or foreign about her. He couldn't place his finger on it but he knew it was there. He resolved to get to know her a bit better, maybe then he'd get a better idea of what was throwing him off.
The second person that stood out to him was that man Adi had asked to stay behind. He seemed an angry sort of person at first glance, coupled with a conflicted sort of Force aura. He knew that others would be able to sense it as well, But he also knew that the Jedi were rather blind about their attempts to "redeem" certain individuals to the side of light. While he understood that this Alkor had just been through a rather traumatic mission, he still resolved to keep an eye on him when he could. Ak-Akari was still not as trusting as most, and if he found the Jedi's blind forgiveness was putting the mission in danger then he'd have to put an end to the problem himself. He hoped it didn't come to that, but that was how it was.
Cheered by somewhat putting a rest to the anxieties in his head, he turned down the corridor to the mess hall. This would be a good day.

"THIS is iced tea."
Walking over, and dropping a few cubes of ice into a glass, he poured it into the vessel and handed it to Jade. Waving for the others to come in, Adi pushed a few buttons, and looked over his shoulder.
"Until we get more supplies, the only thing we have is nerf-based food. No veggies or anything yet. Meat, and bread is about it for a couple days. Now, while the others are busy, let's discuss your mission. Considering that everyone here is someone I trust, nothing will get out of this room about the mission until it either succeeds or fails.
I'm hoping for the former over the latter."
Pushing another button, the machine began to whine, creak, and clatter. Puffs of steam bellowed from the ancient contraption, and one of the pipes began to bulge. Wrapping it in the force, Adi squeezed his hand, and put it back to its normal state. Within a minute however, a lot faster than it had produced Adi's nerfburger, a perfectly done, hot, and steaming spacemeat on a bun....
...It was, after all, the official late-night snack of the Jedi Order....
The others had filed in, and were milling about, fixing food, caf, tea, whatever. The water supply was at the very least clean, drawn from underground springs. Figuring that the others would listen if they wanted, Adi began to tell Jade her part of this little endeavor.
"Basically, you have to fly a ship into the hangar bay of the Mandalorians' mobile mining platform, and get -our- 'prototype mining droid' there, and unloaded. The droid's control systems will do the rest. There will be a diversionary attack as well, to get you out....that is the Oyu'baat strike. You will be alone in this mission....but this bit of Mandalorian culture you have will most certainly serve you well.
As for the ship, we are working on that. We will have one by the time you leave, you have my word. After that, you are free to go if you would like. However, I must admit, I would love to have a mind like yours on our team on a more permanent basis."
Adi reached down, and picked up his now-cold burger. He took a bite, wrinkled his nose at the food temperature, shrugged, and swallowed the bite. Two more bites, it was devoured. Sitting back, he sipped his iced tea, and waited for the rest to finish getting their refreshments.

It was late night when we finally touched down, and surprisingly there was not a soul to be found. so, as a result I waited in the ship, with the power of for no less than 30 mins before reaching for the coms:: Gordon, we did request a welcoming party right?:: :: Yessir:: :: Did we get the landing vectors wrong?:: :: No sir, I accounted for the weather, these are the exact Terrestrial Coordinates Master Frantz sent you.:: If it is all the Same to you two, I am popping. this summer heat is too much for me.:: Good Idea Kishi. I'm gonna get out too… Gordon, Transfer your self to my com link, i will leave external link active until we have found who we are looking for.:: The Starfighter that was Mike's Gift opened from the hood, Much in the same style of the Eta-2 had, and my new commando friend got out from there. I, on the other hand released the locks, lifted up and slid my cockpit lid back. once the blue light on my com confirmed that Gordon was on board, i went for the baggage.
In the back of the "Raiden" i removed two LARGE hiking backpacks with Rations, Supplies, and equipment i would need, as well as a flight proof brief case. Inside, in fitted material so it would not break or burn out from static, Lay the lightsaber i was commissioned to design, and the chip my friend risked his life for.As we wandered through the destroyed castle, we came across what could have been a convocation chamber, which was now a graveyard. there was no sign of anyone" Do you think that they just… left?" " I do not think that Mike would draw us here and leave us to rot. he may not be the brightest tactical jedi… wait… Mike ISN'T leading this shin-dig." " I don't follow sir." "Mike is good… but if he would call something together, it would be in a back room of a tavern… this is too good." " well, assuming we were not wrong in the coordinates, given the state of the buildings, there is only one possibility." " On a Wavelength Keesh. Gordon, Increase scans to maximum range. focus efforts down into the surface." It was a brief moment before:: I have several Life signs and one AI within 100 feet below us.:: " do you think there are active lifts?" " Probably not… how many Ascension cables did you pack" And that was the plan. after scouring the site for a lift shaft, We began to repel down to the nearest sub level with as little loads as possible, while Gordon began sending transmissions out to gain the attention of the AI that had taken up residency in this 'fort'

Tza and Lightyear had left the room for Adi and his Jedi friend to discuss their secret plans. The Admiral knew there was more to this attack than just his own part but was slightly irked that he wasn't aware of all the activity. The Falleen liked to be informed of all missions in an operation he is to be part of but there was always some cloak and dagger involved. He chose not to eat anything on offer, choosing only a single glass of what he assumed was water for hydration. General Lightyear braved the food, his plate had two of the mysterious "sandwiches" on it and to wash them down he had a cup of coloured liquid. Tza sat back down leaving a one chair gap between himself and Adi as General Lightyear sat on the other side of him.
"Well then, can we start this little chit-chat or do you have something else secret to discuss with someone else?"
The Falleen was joking but his question was not without a small hint of malice at being kept waiting. As he understood it he was to play a fairly large part in the coming operation and he was keen for payback. The Mandalorians had overwhelmed and destroyed most of his fleet at the initial battle above Yavin IV, this would not be forgotten quickly.
Above the base three LAAT/i gunships began their approach to the landing zone. The pilots saw three fighters on the ground at the location and adjusted their approach. They flew over the grounded ships and their occupants and landed about fifty feet away as a precaution. They guard was up now, they had precious cargo and there were unknown elements on the ground. Two of the gunships landed in such a way as they shielded the third from the other fighters and deployed their squads. there were soon sixty ARC commandos on the ground around the gunships, taking cover in defensive positions behind rocks, trees and natural ground formations. A fire team of eight commandos broke from their cover and approached what was Diamonte and his cohorts in a delta formation weapons ready.
"Identify yourselves!"

After finishing up a half dozen minor issues in the control room, enabling a couple basic screens and reastablishing proper lighting instead of the dim and rather depressing emergency lighting that we've been dealing with so far, I make my way out toward the hangar. Stopping only occasionally for minor repairs (might as well get a few of them out of the way now) I eventually make it to Daystar and jog up the ramp. Making my way to the back of the starboard cargo bay into the only area left on my ship that actually carries cargo I unload a skid of important supplies and make my way toward the mess hall. It's only a moment before I get a ding on my com that Monte is on the planet. Pulling out an earpiece I pull up his channel and send him a message. Monte, there should be a broken hangar door about half a klick south of your position, you'll find our ships behind there.
Without waiting for a response I keep heading toward the mess hall, repairing minor issues as I go. Pushing the hovercart in front of me I take stock of the few people already in the mess hall. Jade, who I had left only a few short hours ago, Adi of course, and another pair of men who I had only briefly seen durring our initial meeting. With a broad smile and a log swig of my flask I smile at the slowly gathering crowd. Come and get it. I flash my customary half-smile and gesture to the self contained food processing unit on top of two crates, one full of fresh fruits, veggies, and some meats, the other full of various forms of alcohol, gotta have something stronger than iced tea if we are going to be here for a while. Taking a seat next to Adi with a bottle of Corellian Spiced Rum in one hand and a bowl full of berries in the other I lean back and put my feet up on the table. So what did I miss? Okay, so I wasn't exactly being serious and formal, but truth be told I've been working while these others have been relaxing or doing whatever they have been up to, I could use some time with my feet up. Besides more than likely I'm going to have to jump up and do something else at any moment. Offering the bottle to Adi I shift slightly, getting myself settled down to listen in on what's going on.

" Sir" Corridor 23c… no Trubo lift" SIR" Corridor 9 3/4 … no turbolift' oh… so THAT was what keesh was talking about' My new commando had insisted on pulling out the archaic DC-17m with the PEP attachment. as i turned around, my left hand found my blaster, my right found found my lightsaber. and without activating it, as i turned around, I found my self in what i had trained to know as "Demon's Run DWS"" Identify yourselves, I have an invite here. and, in my arrival i have identified myself twice to the proper authorities" Then I closed my eyes and felt through the force. The signatures were similar to those as something i had felt as i was getting things together from the ship. My right hand began to wobble as i pointed the unlit blade from person to person until i clue myself into who was in command of this squad" You… You" all i could get out for a moment. then i Chuckled "Sir, i do not know whether i should be tickled… or offended. your investigation of my possible identity is COMICALLY bad. I mean flying star fighters that I designed, and lets not forget this three man squad identified themselves to the authorities as we approached." Realizing that it looked kinda silly to say 3 when only two sentients were visible, I quickly called for Gordon to remedy" Gordon, play back the authorization tape… edit code A-113" From my left wrist came the recording of the of the very message, with any direct message of names removed:: Orbital Command, this Is AI Gordon. flying lead of Artisan squadron. Transmitting credentials of all pilots in the three man Team, requesting permission to land… and Additionally if a Message could be passt to the following jedi if they are on world: Mike Frantz, Adi, Alkor Centaris please stand-by at the hangar:: While all this was happening, my cybernetic eye dashed around the scene to scan the area. sure there was a mass of heat signatures in the formation, but there were flickers of others throughout the nearby area… i could count at least 30.
" Really, 38 commandos for 2 invited guests?" :: Sir, i count 22 more between your 3 and 9:: " 60?? 60 commandos for 2 people? isn't that a little slice of OVERKILL?"

Grime, dirt, a barracks...it reminded him of his stint during the Serennian rebellion - something Jace would recall all too well. Shaking his head, Dante slowly made his way from the hangar to the cafeteria. The outpost had certainly seen better days, and as Dante walked, he could only shake his head at those assembled here: Jedi left and right, some rather eccentric, some rather standard. In all though, it was what they had to fight the Mandalorians...but that wasn't really why he was here, was it? He was a Watchman, yes, but he was also a Count...as Count Dooku before him had done so, he to had returned to his birth-title, and now operated in the interest of the Serennian people. And, it was in the peoples best interests that the Jedi continue to operate - with Serenno on the eastern rim, the elimination of the Jedi could mean a destabilization of the entire region...and that, was something that could not be allowed to happen. With a shake of his head, Dante entered the cafeteria, his lip curling at the rather disgusting food arrayed there. Declining to eat, he silently sat down at one of the tables, grunting a little as he swung his leg in its brace over the bench - and being very careful indeed to smooth out his cape before sitting down. Silently, he listened to the conversation ongoing...preferring to observe those gathered than pitch in his thoughts.

Ak-Akari entered the mess hall and gratefully accepted some of the food, however unappetising it looked. He noticed that Adi and Jade seemed to be discussing their mission, so he respectfully remained quiet as he sat down, nodding to those assembled in greeting. He then began to tear into the meat, trying to squeeze as much enjoyment out of it as he could get.

I accepted the glass curiously and held it up to the light, examining the amber coloured contents. It looked a bit watery. However, I decided to taste it and see. At least it was cool and not dust-flavored, though how Adi had managed that was probably bordering the miraculous. It wasn't Corellian Ale, but it would suffice for the time being. I looked over at Adi as he was concocting this 'dinner' he had promised me. "So, how long after the suit is delivered before things get exciting?" I was not really worried about it, but long experience has taught me that it is best to know exactly how long one has before things start exploding. Lack of information often equates to dead.
I had suspected he might want me to stick around, but I am not ready for that sort of commitment. I am just beginning to fit in on Corellia and there is work to be done there. Not to mention, that I like it. I have spent decades bouncing around the galaxy so for now at least I am fond of the idea of settling down for a bit. To be sure, this attack on Mandalore will probably put a spoke in that wheel before too long, but I'll deal with it when it happens.
Jade accepted the plate of food from Adi, and then walked back to the table he'd been sitting at when she arrived. The room was much fuller now, a low buzz of conversation between the Jedi providing a semi-pleasant background noise of life to the environment. She glanced over at Ak-Akari. Something about the man unsettled her a bit. And then, there was Mike Frantz, she smiled at him in greeting, approving immensely of the bottle of Corellian Spiced Rum he placed in front of Matango. Given that she was strategically seated opposite him, she contemplated nefarious designs upon that innocent bottle of delicious refreshment. And then, she began eating. This food was rather strange, and seemed to be processed. That in itself was not new to her, but...she laid down her fork and considered a moment. Then, she removed the bun and continued eating just the burger and toppings. That was a definite improvement in her opinion.

Jace took a few minutes to explore the facility, taking a slightly longer route that he assumed would link up with the cafeteria. Before he could leave the hanger his datapad had received a local message. He brought it up as he entered one of the many hallways, seeing that his assumption of this leading back to the cafe was correct. His boots plodded softly down the hallway, sifting through the already disturbed dust that resided on the floors. He let his fingertips slide along the wall beside him, feeling the old material and the history that it must have contained. He wondered how many of these facilities reside in the galaxy, looted beyond all belief or simply waiting to be discovered once again. Maybe, maybe if he had some 'vacation' time he'd go and hack the records on Coruscant and start exploring the galaxy for the bases that hadn't been found by civilization. He'd be looking to find the ones on the more luscious and get-away resort worlds, but that was because he didn't want to actually waste his vacation. Who would?
He arrived at the cafeteria approximately ten minutes after he left the hanger. It didn't take him long to spot Adi and the others around the table, discussing their roles in the upcoming weeks. Jace walked over to the food dispensers when he spotted one individual at the table in particular: Dante. What in the name of the Force was he doing here? He knew he tolerated Force-users to a degree, but working with them in secret was a whole knew level. He had to have some sort of angle, some way that he was benefiting out of this. He'd figure it out in due time.
Jace grabbed two sandwiches on separate plates and a cup of stim before walking over. As he sat down opposite of Dante, he slid over one of the sandwiches to his friend before setting the other sandwich and stim in front of himself. He looked across to Dante and grinned before taking a bite of his sandwich, glad to see that once again they would be fighting on the same side.

Eyeing the offered food, Dante sighed and took it. Taking a bite, he paled visibly at the...contents...was it sewage?...of the sandwhich. Nonetheless, he continued eat, a small quirk of the mouth indicating he had seen Jace's grin. Eating in silence, Dante eventually rolled his eyes and eyed Jace once more...
"...I can practically feel the curiosity. I'm here as an official representative of house Demici...no angles...no tricks...no deceptions. You and I have our own slice of home in the eastern rim - and I for one don't want Mandalorians and Sith on it. The Jedi stay in power, WE stay in power...and if it gets me into office as the Count of Counts, all the better for us Demici's.
Nearly gagging on a new bite of sandwich, Dante jerked his head at Adi.
"The ISS (Internal Security Service, the Demici secret police) will be working in tandem with Jedi strike teams to accomplish what I assume to be various guerilla and tactical strikes. It's what I would do. Meanwhile, because the Jedi are not a militant order, they'll be borrowing the Serennian 1st battle fleet for use on their little skirmishes."
Another bite, a disgusted look; this time he set the sandwich down.
"Disgusting filth. What you humans see in this stuff is beyond me."

"Just getting started Mike. As I had said, Jade, you are leaving in 48 hours. We need to finalize a few things before you go....we can't go in there half-cocked, like some drunken Jedi Master would.."
Snickering, Adi patted Mike on the shoulder. He didn't go for the rum yet, and kept it there for the moment. Seeing that the room was filling up, Adi was thrilled. There were some of the best in the universe in this room right now, and regardless of the reasons why there were here, they were all pointing in the same direction...
...Keeping the threat of the Manadlorians from spreading throughout the universe....and Dante's promise of the Serrenian Third fleet? Most welcome news.
"Your contribution is most generous, Dante. It is truly appreciated. I am quite sure we will need it....but I wish we didn't." Noticing the discomfort he was having, Matango made light of the face that Demici was making. "Unfortunately, the silver is out for cleaning, and I decided to replace the fine china, so I donated it to a poor Ewok family on the forest moon of Endor. I just haven't received the replacements yet. Can't serve caviar on anything but the finest.
They should be here this week sometime. Til then, its nerfburgers and Mike's fruit." Taking a swig from the rum, finally, Adi passed it to Jade. "Jace, you will be conducting the attack on the Oyu'baat. You will need a four-man team to deliver some high-powered explosives, and clear out. One hitch though....you gotta get the civilians clear before you do. We want the building taken out, not the civvies.
We can come up with a way that wouldn't involve you compromising your positions. I have an idea, I'll run it by you later." Standing up, Adi walked over and got a bowl of fruit. As he was coming back, he sat down, and took another glug off his glass of iced tea. "Admiral, I assume your men are already prepping the suit for deploy?"

Jace suppressed a chuckle at Dante's first remark. He was indeed very curious, but had refrained from saying anything to see who would crack first. He had won this round. Barely. He also noted Dante's amount of openness with those around him. He must have at least a small amount of trust to mention his 'slice of home' as well as his intentions for office. Trust well placed if you asked Jace.
"Makes sense. I'd rather not have any more Mandalorians on Serenno. Throwing Sith into the mix wouldn't help either."
He took another bite from his sandwich and chewed thoughtfully as he looked from Dante to Adi. If he was offering up his 1st battle fleet to assist the Jedi, then he might see about getting the Emerald Blades more openly involved in this war. He'd have to get a proper update from his figure-head of the PMC, Mik'ro, about their operations involving the Mandalorians. It wouldn't end well for his teams out in the field if the Mandos caught wind of a double-dealing and went after the unsuspecting soldiers. It probably wouldn't sit well with the people at this table either. He placed the sandwich back on the plate and took a sip from his cup of stim, looking up as Dante placed his food down in disgust.
"You have to admit; it's better than field rations...sorta."
Jace let the cup rest on the table with his hand still wrapped around it's warm surface as he looked back over to Adi. It seemed as though it was a very brief summary, but he didn't think this gathering was meant for a full explanation of the battle plan anyhow. Jace knew full well what the Oyu'baat was. Sithspit, he had been in it a few times back in the day. And he wanted to blow it up? This was going to be a fun one. Nothing like having totally pissed off Mandalorians all over your afterburners on your way out.
"I believe I can manage that. What's the time-frame for this operation?"

"Admiral, I assume your men are already prepping the suit for deploy?" Tza was slightly distracted by a message he had just received on his personal comm-unit. He whispered something into it quickly before turning back to Adi.
"I have just been informed that the suit has just landed on the surface and is currently being brought into the facility. Will it be transferred to a ship here or will it need transport to another destination?"
The Admiral would be glad when all of this courier business was out of the way. He couldn't stand having an unknown weapon just laying around on any of his ships.
Meanwhile, outside Lieutenant Lamarr listened to the authorisation recording and immediately stood his commando down. They were not actually here to "welcome" the guests that just landed, they were there to escort a package inside the facility.
"I do apologise Master Jedi, we are here as part of the Republic fleet and are not privy to the Jedi communication channel. You wouldn't happen to know the best way to get a large package into the facility would you?"
The commandos had not been given the exact co-ordinates of the hanger bay, just the facility itself. They would have to get the package inside by other means.

I waved two fingers to signal Keesh to do the same as i stowed my weaponry. It was honestly a plain case of misunderstanding that the task force below nearly lost … 22 men.. or maybe just a jedi.
"It is alright Sir, I happened to arrive here without a clue as to where to land. why i parked out in the open… hang on…"
I pressed a combo of buttons and began to replay Mike's message. Trying to figure out the words the drunken jedi would use to bring me to the entrance, i scratched my head… then with a knowing grin, i removed one of those holoprojectors that jedi are known to have with me.
"Gordon, Display the facility as it is displayed on ground level."
there was a small beep and the display i tossed to the ground showed the ruin temple. checking Mike's message, I was ready to zoom the focus
"refocus the scan within a Klik south of our current location and scan for large locations that could serve for a hangar"
there was a couple moments before a ping was heard. indeed, the primary hangar for the complex was .41243 kliks south of my location. showing this data to the Lieutenant I nodded.
"well… with our problems resolved, it would probably be best to head to the hangar since ships in the open paint the site as a secret base"
