Looking around, this may not have been the most ideal of choices for a vacation spot. Outside of the thin dome of glass you are standing in rests the harsh world of Vaathkree. As long as the dome is intact you don't feel the heavier gravity of the planet, nearly twice that of galactic standard, or the poisonous atmosphere which quickly kills any oxygen breathing life form.

Round two bitches. After his judges decision of the defeat of the Jensaarai Xeonon had been allotted a few hours rest. In that time he had watched the other duels. Best part of a break, however it was not long enough for all of them so he just hoped to the gods that one person he studied would be his opponent.
Pretty much being teleported here by the patented GBA rifting A-OKAY device Xeonon sauntered out on one edge of the area, little cambots flying around to catch all the action. Then something happened. Hidden speakers started playing a song, and five blue back up dancers appeared. Putting on a show Xeonon began to snap his fingers (no small feat when one is robotic and the other gauntleted) and walked slowly to the middle with the twielick holograms behind him. The whole time doing some exotic dance moves without him knowing it.
This Imperial Knight had came prepared for war, on his back a shield that he had forged himself. A shield that covered the entirety of his back and overlapped just a little on the edges. On his left hip a Adumari dueling sword, and above that on his chest a huge fucking pistol. A lightsaber mag locked to his right thigh and in his hands. Well he had a big fucking hammer. His body was covered in blood red armour, a trademark of the Imperial Knights in this duel Xeonon wore just the basic one. One purely designed for combat.
Scanning the room he tried to see anything that might give him an advantage. All he saw was the dome, the dome and the floor. idely he wondered what the point of the dome was but it really did not matter. Slamming his hammer to the floor out of frustration he watched as the duracrete floor cracked and shattered around the hammer blow. I swear to shit uhm a god a god give me a GOD Harla Some Vong god if this Atia.

It's not.
Bloodshot stepped into the arena from the opposite end Xeanon had, his flat-black body glove that shadows seemed to cling to now replaced by his usual armor. So this is the unlucky bastard I'm fighting.
It's worse.
He flicked his gaze off his exceedingly well-armed opponent for a moment and considered the dome and what lay beyond.Vaathkree. Heavy gravity, native species made of stone, toxic atmosphere, lava plans, heavily radioactive mineral deposits. I should vacation here. The data scrolled across his HUD as he swept his gaze over the arena, and when that gaze found his opponent again he paused. Toxic atmosphere... and no helmet. He smiled beneath his mask, knowing his own filtration systems would protect him from the poison gas, and reached for the two concussion grenades on his bandoleer.
Nice hammer.
Drawing the grenades off the bandoleer, he depressed the activation studs and tossed them straight up, rather than at his opponent, as he began walking forward. There was a dull thud followed by insistent beeping as the spheres struck the dome and their gription fields activated, bonding them to the surface, and he reached down to draw his slugthrowers as he continued forward. There was still a distance of over twenty meters to cover before melee weapons would be useful, and his track record with force users left slugthrowers far ahead of blasters in terms of effectiveness.
Maybe I'll keep it.

After writing up a list of mean things to say to Adi and cursing up a storm the writer got his shit together. Why was he so mad? Maybe it was because he had thought something much similar but couldnt do it due to a lack of air.
Due to the modification done to his eyes Xeonon saw the two orbs flying straight up the glass. Figuring that they were meant to take out the glass as a last resort type thing Xeonon had to get rid of them. Letting go of the hammer with his left hand he reached out with his minds eye picturing the two things as they flew up up and up. Getting a grip of them with the force he stopped their ascent not a second to soon, and made them fly back towards Bloodshots back at breakneck speeds.
He could not allow this.. this guy to beat him. He hoped that these things were time activated and would blow up behind Bloodshot and just ruin his day. Of course he couldnt count on that, so hefting the hammer back into both hands Xeonon began to walk the ever dwindling distance between the two. If you want it, come and take it.

Geez... you forcies are predictable. The mercenary had never considered himself to be a "forcie", in spite of his ability to sense and absorb the mystical energy, as he had no innate reservoir of his own to access. Like a glass not being wet until you put water in it.
As the man took his hand off the hammer, Bloodshot raised his left hand pistol and centered it on the man's head, then squeezed the trigger. Having already drawn the pistol, the time it took to raise, aim, and fire the pistol at the currently stationary target would be miniscule, and if he was concentrating on stopping the grenades as hard as he looked to be, it would be easy to miss the motion altogether until after his head exploded. It's never that easy though, is it?
Above, he heard the concussion grenades detonate as their timers hit zero, still closer to the glass dome than they were to the Umbaran. The telltale sound of cracks spider-webbing through glass followed the detonation, but the force user had apparently managed to draw the grenades far enough away to avoid shattering it outright. Ah well, that was just going to be a bonus anyway. Time for plan B. Raising his right hand pistol and aiming it high to his right, he squeezed the trigger three times, each bullet exploding on impact with the glass and shattering the already weakened dome.

No it never is that easy. Although he was looking at the grenades he could still see the gun being raised. He couldn't outrun the bullet and he damn well was not about to stop it. Instead he simply turned his head hoping for a quick death. Thankfully someone was watching over him and the bullet tore through his cheek and out the otherside. Or what little flesh there still was on his right side.
Thanks to another cybernetic implant Xeonon was able to deal with lots of pain. (Cardio Muscular Package). That was not to say it did not hurt like a son of a bitch, but you did not become the Leader of the Imperial Knights by being weak. Pushing the pain of his throbbing cheek aside Xeonons face was that of pure hatred. How dare this guy mess with his pretty boy appearance. In the shock of it all Xeonon dropped his weapon to the ground.
Since he had nothing to lose and everything to gain he pushed his way back into the force. This time he put everything into it as he pictured two hands grasping the armour clad figure around him. Then with free hands Xeonon pulled them in opposite directions. What he was doing was a variation of TK, force Rend. Pretty much the opposite of force crush he hoped to rip his opponent in half. Hell he already had everything he needed to do it. Clear line of sight, space and connection to the force. That and a fuck you attitude now that his face was once again mangled.
With the glass now broken he could feel the oxygen whip by him as it left the dome. He wasnt even that afraid of the gass. If two Jedi can duel on a Volcano world for like 10 minutes and not die of Sulfur Dioxide poisoning then Xeonon can do the same.

As the glass shattered, the mercenary felt his own weight, and that of his armor, nearly double. Heh, this must be what normal people feel like. This wasn't the first high-gravity world he'd found himself on and his enhanced physique, while not nearly at the level of someone with high-grade implants, was still strong enough to operate relatively undeterred.
With his guns still raised as several square meters of the dome crashed down around them, he simply continued firing at his opponent's head, first with his left-hand weapon then with his right as he brought it to bear on the target. There would be seven shots in all, rapidly alternating between pistols and being corrected for movement as it occurred. He could sense the power beginning to be drawn into the room, but his opponent would hopefully be either too dead or too preoccupied with bullet-dodging to consider launching a new attack.

There is this thing about shooting two guns at once. Its crazy hard to aim at all and that is putting it lighting. Sure it looks badass as fuck but in reality its impossible to aim both guns. Either you just shoot rapidly in the general direction or you only aim one or the other. Of course this was Star Wars and the rules of reality are slightly different. Still this is probably the only thing that saved Xeonons life.
After the first shot went through his head Xeonon was not going to be a fucking idiot. He was going to move. Keeping his eyes relatively on his opponent as he ran in a rough circle around Bloodshot he bobbed his upper body up and down. Snaking left and right. He did his best to keep his shield towards the bullets as they came by. Explosive or not if one was to hit it the Phrik that made up that made it up would protect his back. As the rounds whizzed by he could not only hear each round but feel them as well. Feel the wind as it went by his exposed flesh, but also the explosions happening behind him sending up shrapnel that peppered his armour and shield.
All the while he was not going to stop his little rip in half scheme. This was something that he had spent, weeks and months practicing. Hell he had practically mastered the force power. He kept applying pressure trying to rip the mans torso from his lower body. He kept focusing on the image in his head. He kept hoping that this fucker would die before he did.

Bloodshot's eyebrows rose beneath his mask as the forcie not only managed to avoid damage from all seven slugs, but even continued drawing the power he'd felt the man gathering. This guy has got some seriously impressive multi-tasking skills. I'd take my hat off and salute him if I could do it without choking to death. Three seconds into the barrage, all seven shots having been fired and rendered entirely ineffective, Bloodshot lowered the right hand pistol. He'd hoped that a rapid barrage of half-aimed shots would do the trick, but clearly this man had fought stormtroopers before and knew how to handle the tactic.
Time for plan... uh... D? Close enough. The firing from his left hand pistol never slowed, and without the distraction of the right each new shot would be placed far more purposefully, aimed directly for the man's head. The one part of him unprotected by his armor or that shield. He could feel the pressure increasing around his middle, squeezing his armor tight against him and beginning to pull him apart at the waist, and he responded by reaching out to the energy lingering around him. You wanna rip me in two? You're gonna have to work for it. His body grew stronger and tougher as he drew in the ambient force energy, and his mind grew sharper and faster. Two slugs into his new barrage, the world began to slow and his opponent's head seemed to loom in front of him as he continued to fire, becoming nearly akin to a stationary target even amidst the ducking and weaving. Three more shots, the delay between each only half what it was previously, and he could still feel the pressure growing around his waist. With his newfound durability, however, it was barely on the verge of being uncomfortable, much less painful or damaging. At least for now.

Damn straight its impressive, in addition to the physical aspect the Knights received rigorous mental training. Although it was used more to prevent a fall to the darkside it could be applied to all aspects of their life. For a brief moment all firing stopped, and he used this moment to look over his shoulder. This was were he would have taken a deep sigh except well more and more of the poison was seeping into the dome and that was just as liable to kill him as Bloodshot. So taking a short breath he took in the O2 that still lingered.
Then it struck him, he had to remove the guns from the equation, while still trying to kill this little guy. In the time it took him to think about what he was doing he shifted the focus of his ripping apart plan. Both arms. Now what Xeonon was hoping to do was to get the arms up held out like the letter "T" before the first of the new shots could be taken. Your body may be stronger, but I am willing to bet that your joints and where your body pieces together isnt as equally tough. Much similar to how Wolverine is invincible, but the Hulk can rip him in half where his bones meet. All this constant force use was starting to take its toll on him, he could feel a single bead of ice cold sweat down the small of his back.
Of course this could very well not work right away (or at all) in which case I should probably come up with a reaction post for you. Aimed shots were another thing completely. He had gotten lucky thus far and he couldnt rely on that anymore. No now shit was either going to kill him or he would figure something out. Actually after about ten minutes of thinking this is really not something I can avoid, so unless that plan with ripping the arms off from the shoulders takes to long or just doesnt work... BOOM

The tactic would have worked too, at least for getting the guns out of play, except that there was no brief moment during which all firing stopped. As was mentioned previously, the firing from the left hand pistol never slowed, much less stopped, and even began to increase in frequency. By the time Xeonon's head would turn back to face the mercenary, two slugs would have already been fired at it, with the third on its way before Bloodshot would feel the pull of the force on his arms.

So let it be said that Xeonon would not fall gracefully. It was almost as if he could see the bullet coming towards him, everything slowed down his life flashed before his eyes. His first beating, first kiss and first time bedding a woman. Everything right up to this moment, it was almost as if he was still alive in some sort of Inception kind of way. For once he got caught up in his memories it happened again on a deeper level. Of course on the main level shit was going down. The bullet touched his eye pulping it and for a single moment all he could feel was the shock that the electronic eye gave off.
Of course this was only momentary as the round lodged itself into his skull stopping in the grey fleshy bits of his brain. Half a second later it ticked before going boom. His skull exploded in a nice gooey boom. One that was seen all across the galaxy, as his skull flew in multiple directions and what little flesh and brain remained went out as well. The now headless body fell to the ground with a thud the other rounds not really mattering anymore they presumably flew into the windows and destroyed them as well.
From now on I am going full droid instead of android.

Hello all. This is your friendly, neighborhood Jedi Master, here to render your judgment.
Xeo, you came in like a house on fire. I won't lie, you are one of my favorite duelists to read in the GBA. You know how to have fun, and enjoy the show. This is an attitude that more duelists need in the GBA....you are a prime example of 'this is how you conduct yourself'. Your moves were clear, your action smooth, and you operated like a well oiled machine. Bloodshot, your improvement in the battle arena is awesome. You have grown into a formidable fighter, one that has some excellent potential to climb the ranks in a hurry.
That being said, let's get into the meat of the duel. While there wasn't much to go on, from the outset, Bloodshot had the initiative. He took control from the first attack post, and didn't let go. Xeo tried to regain the upper hand, but he just wasn't able to, and it resulted in his death. This boiled down to excellent use of environment early on, and because of that, Bloodshot advances. Xeonon, well done, and we look forward to seeing you again.
Any questions, comments, or rants, direct them at my inbox, and we will see if we can't get it squared away. Cheers, gents!
