The Zabrak smirked as the Kaleesh warrior left, seething with a barely contained hatred. He didn't care what the Kaleesh thought, however. Manipulating those to do as he wished was how he had become the undisputed Sith'ari of the Blackguard. None had challenged him and had been successful. Flvin had tried and failed, fortunately being spared to do the Sith'ari's bidding. Malvus simply left, rather than attempt to challenge him. Vallius had rebelled, rather than face his father directly. The rest of the Sith under him had fallen in line, rather than potentially throw their lives away. Manipulating the situation to his advantage and making it nearly impossible to refuse his offers, that's part of how he stayed in power for a long as he had. Glancing over at the image of Utapau for a few moments, he keyed up a comm channel to the Imperium forces still situated there.
All Blackguard Imperium forces occupying Utapau are hereby ordered to withdraw immediately. Regroup and return to Mustafar for further assignment.
It was done. Kamino, Pzob and now Utapau. Aside from Roon still being under siege, the Blackguard was effectively reshaping itself. Time would tell if Znalost would be able to maintain it, or if he'd have to execute his contingency plan. While he did trust Znalost and his ability to lead, he did not trust that the rest of the members of the Imperium would bend a knee simply because they had to. Technically speaking, the lines of succession pointed to any of Viox's offspring. But the only publicly known member that was left was Vallius and he had given up his claim to the throne when he decided to take matters into his own hands. And Nidana, even being adopted, could have been the next successor, but she had thrown her support behind Malvus and his failed attempt to unite the Sith in his own fashion. To the public, that didn't really leave any other options, aside from Znalost being promoted to the de facto leader of the Imperium, due to the leadership's hierarchy. Unknown to all, save for himself and Natalia, Viox's biological daughter, Lysandra, was still very much alive and well, even if Larissa wasn't. It ensured that Clan Savage's blood could still technically rule the Imperium if he so chose it. For now, however, the Imperium would be led by Znalost, once he and Natalia took their leave. Turning on his heel, after clearing the images of Utapau from the projector, Viox strode from the room and headed for the lift. It was high time he returned to Mustafar and continued with the next phase of his plans...

ScarThe nav computer began to ping and Onyx reached pit a black garbed gloved hand and pulled back on the lever to disengage the hyperactive, the flury of stars swam back and the blewk endless darkness of real space snapped to fill the viewport.
The Zabrak tilted his Jean from left to right cracking his neck as he did so, it was a bad habit and something he did to feel prepared. He looked down at the read out on his navigation computer and for what felt like the quadrillionth time checked the coordinates.
Perhaps he was mad or a fool, or both. It was possible, but he had built a life and a career on taking calculated risks and gambles and this was just another, with any luck he would see a looming mass of what most would consider an archaic battle cruiser but Jo doubt it was fitted and secretly bristling with whatever outfitted illegal tech a vessel its size needed to be to maintain functioning in its capacity.
The vessel if it existed was apparently the place for all things underhand, illegal and where some fro his trade went to broker new deals. Regardless of its reputation it was held to be a ture neutral ground and it's owner, the mysterious scar had fought tooth and nail to keep it just so. The last being to try and break this one holy rule had apparently been strung between two starships which had then been flown in opposite directions.
The flight chair creaked as Onyx leaned back and rested his booted feet upon the flight panel.

Onyx RinAs the Nemesis-class patrol ship exits hyperspace, its sensors would pick up a cluster of IFF signatures just beyond its jump destination. In total, there were over twenty signatures! Most of them were small however. Yet, one loomed within the formation, the IFF detected gave off an immense spacecraft. On the visual, the arriving Zabrak would see a part of Lancer-class Frigates drift by, moving towards some new arrivals just like him. A cluster of transports that would require being checked and scanned for anything that could damage the mobile shadowport that Onyx had come to.
Eventually, a ping was given off as an ancient Praetorian-class Frigate, designated the Firehawk, made its way over. This 'security fleet' was the protection around the space of the Fortunate Sun, a modified and thoroughly redone Lucrehulk-class Battleship that was among the many points of illegal trade within the Outer Rim. Here, the Jinn Cabal operated and managed the former warship as a immense vein of rich trade and illegal vendoring.
As the Firehawk drew closer, a trio of Z-96 Headhunters flew out of its hangar bay and moved closer to the patrol ship. The lead starfighter opened a hailing transmission.=Pilot= This is Security Flight DZ-995 to oncoming vessel. Please state your purpose and transmit your necessary documents of transportation.

Polis Massa - Blackguard Imperium Medical Facility: DravenThe Sith Infiltrator, Mistress of the Night, piloted by Viox Savage, emerged from hyperspace near Polis Massa. Since conquering Mustafar, Polis Massa had been claimed as a remote medical outpost and small scale research and development site. Part of Jen'ari Znalost's network of remote installations, it was here that the Sith'ari had another guest waiting for him. Having just dealt with his brother, he was busy tying up as many loose ends as he could before turning the Imperium over to Darth Znalost. Whether or not the Blackguard Imperium remained as such, or was broken down and changed afterwards was inconsequential to him. So long as his grand design remained unblemished, the Imperium meant very little to him anymore. It simply provided the means to accomplish his tasks unquestioned. Thus, his arrival to the Draven Medical Facility on Polis Massa. Another step in his plans for tying up loose ends and finishing what he started.*
*After transmitting the proper authorization codes, the Infiltrator landed on a landing pad. As the pad retracted inside the facility, the Zabrak disembarked his ship and made his way through the facility to the holding cells. Inside, sat a robed figure, seemingly a human male, and someone whom had crossed paths with the Zabrak previously."You were a difficult individual to locate...though going to the Resurgent Sith Conclave was predictable. The Blackguard opposed your beliefs and laid waste to everything you had ever built in the Sith Worlds. The Conclave was different, and its goals aligned with your desires enough to make you reach out to them...but...how successful were they, really?"The Zabrak smirked at the prisoner, mockingly. Malvus's misguided attempt at branching off had ended in utter failure, or so he had heard. Perhaps if he had focused on remaining with the Imperium, he could have avoided his fate, but it was too late for that now. Though it was rather satisfying to know that Malvus had failed. And the beautiful part about it, was he didn't have to raise a finger to stop them. His own hubris was his demise. Believing that the Rule of Unity could hold the Sith together had been his ultimate downfall. While the rule had worked in the Blackguard, due largely to the fact that Viox himself also endorsed it, without the combined power of both Malvus and Viox, the rule would end up being nearly impossible to enforce. And that was due to the fact that most traditional Sith respected power over all else, seeing the Rule of Unity as an affront to the Sith as a whole. Now, the Imperium was moving closer and closer to being a true Sith Empire. Hopefully Znalost would keep it that way, though there were plans in place to correct that issue, if Znalost wasn't capable. But that had no bearing on his conversation at the present second.

Blackguard Imperium Medical Facility - Draven, Polis Massa
Seated cross-legged on the floor of his cell, the wizened Sith neither moved nor acknowledge the gnawing emptiness that approached. The presence of the Sith'ari of the Blackguard Imperium. He had felt this presence several times in the past. Over and on Nfolgai's surface was the most recent in memory. Though the presence felt...stronger? More stable than before? Whatever it was, he didn't actually care enough to want to figure it out. And then the Zabrak spoke to him. Cocky, mockingly. As if to say that Millennial's actions were predictable, therefore pathetic. While seeking out the Resurgent Sith Conclave, after the Imperium defeated his forces, and then splintered to form the Conclave may have been predictable, it was only natural that Millennial wanted to know who was squatting on his domain. Defeated or not, he was a Sith, and for all intents and purposes, he called the Sith Worlds home. Knowing who to make nice with and who to avoid wasn't pathetic, it was strategic for one's continued survival. The fact that his endeavors with the Conclave didn't work out and he was force to wander wasn't pathetic either. And, if he had truly wanted to avoid detection and capture, he could have. Since the fall of the Dark Tide, Millennial had hidden out among the Sith Worlds. He'd avoided numerous factions for a great many years. No, he had wanted to be found. But the Zabrak was egotistical. He was prideful and stubborn. Convincing the Zabrak that he actually wanted to be found would take more time and effort than he wanted to expel. No, his explanation would fall on deaf ears. So there was no point in wasting his breath. Though, he did feel the need to correct the Sith'ari a bit.
"The Conclave failed for the same reason your Imperium splintered, Zabrak. Stagnation. Complacency. A lack of vision and forward direction. Failure of leadership. The dark side, by nature, is divisive. Absolute commitment and the ability to maintain and execute a strong vision are what is required to succeed. And even then...there are no guarantees in the galaxy..."
Millennial was no fool. He was patient, observant and well versed in the dynamics of politics, specifically regarding the Sith. He was one, after all. Understanding the power of the dark side, as well as the teachings of the Sith were paramount to survival. He, himself, would have died several times over, if he hadn't been smart, subtle and deceptive in his actions. And each action was deliberate. Well thought out and as controlled as Millennial could maintain. He didn't get to where he was today by being brash and impatient. And sooner or later, the Sith'ari would learn exactly who he was dealing with...

Gritting his teeth in frustration, the Sith'ari merely listened to the old man speak, though he wanted nothing more than to reach through the bars and strangle the life out of the man. No, he reminded himself. Millennial Reborn was his prisoner, though he also could be of some use, provided he played his cards right. Right now, all the old man was trying to do was irritate him and get under his skin. And it was somewhat successful. Fortunately Savage caught himself. Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly, he forced himself to calm down before replying to the prisoner.
"You...you would be correct. Together, Malvus and I managed to enforce an unpopular view onto all those whom followed. Divided, neither of us had the ability to maintain his Rule of Unity...and I am grateful for that fact. It has helped me realize that I had been lying to myself for a very long time. Longer than I care to admit."
The Zabrak begins to pace before the cell, allowing his thoughts to he heard. At this point, he had nothing to lose, so there was no harm in allowing his prisoner to hear his thoughts.
"Now, I rule with an iron-clad grip. I follow my true heritage as a Sith, rather than follow something I never even believed in, in the first place...though I suppose that had everything to do with how quickly we gained power and followers...and it would take in to account why you are still alive right now. Normally I have zero need for prisoners, save for a select few. You, on the other hand, have a gift. A gift I can exploit...and will exploit as I see fit..."
Savage stopped pacing and stood, looking into the cell at the prisoner with a smirk. Millennial's abilities to gaze upon the future with a surprising amount of clarity would be useful. At least in order to predict his next steps with any degree of accuracy. His plans were still his own, however, with the instability in the galaxy and the constant shifting in the Force, something was brewing. But he couldn't get a feel for it. It remained elusive, just out of his grasp. Perhaps, with Millennial's power, he could seize that which eludes him...? It was hard to say if it would be successful, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The Zabrak's ability to stow his temper so quickly was rather impressive, to say the least. He had thought for sure he'd have garnered some sort of reaction out of him. Alas, it was not to be. No matter, surely another opportunity to do so would present itself. And then he began to speak. Most of it was merely him admitting what Millennial had already known, more or less. But then came the real reason as to why the Zabrak hadn't killed him yet. If he truly was being a Sith, he wouldn't have let Millennial live, given the fact that he was once and enemy and was beaten once before. And Millennial knew as much. But he had seen how this was going to play out enough to recognize the signs and keep his vision on the correct path. With a dry chuckle, he replied to the Zabrak, still seated on the floor of his cell, sitting cross-legged, eyes closed.
"You sound rathe confident of that fact, oh mighty Sith'ari. How can you be so certain that I would be willing to cooperate, and how could you guarantee the accuracy of what I see, were I to cooperate with you? Time never ceases, and the future has yet to happen. If even the smallest detail is incorrect, chances are likely that what you see will never come to pass. And even if it did, the variables of the ideal outcome are limitless. No single event ever plays out the same, as the smallest, most intricate details can shift, ever so slightly, and ruin what you seek...even if you could see what you wanted to, there is nothing to guarantee that you will get what you want, Zabrak. Even now, our meeting is more chance than even you suspect. Sure, your forces caught me, but only because I wanted them to. I remain in this cell because I want to, as I do not fear your rule, nor your fraying powers. Powers obtained without consent are finite. And while your presence feels more stable than our initial meeting, how fare gone are your powers, Sith'ari? How quickly are your vaunted powers wreaking havoc in the cloned body of yours?"
The wizened old Sith smirked, then opened his eyes, looking at the well maintained physique that was the Zabrak Sith'ari before him. Toying with him was going to be fun, that much was clear.

Normally, those he chose to speak with personally were more fearful and submissive. This was indeed a different feeling for the Sith'ari. Millennial was neither afraid for his life nor willing to bend to Zabrak's will. It was interesting, though it was also mildly infuriating. But, Millennial had raised a fair point. Most could not tell that the Zabrak was now living in a cloned body, having not seen the Sith'ari in months or even years. His excursion on Kamino was his first public appearance since the Sith World Campaigns. Aside from Wraak and Natalia, no one knew of his essence transfer, yet Millennial could pick up on it. The old man was undoubtedly preceptive. However, it made little difference to him at this point. He scowled darkly at the old man, now smirking at him."Preceptive of you, truly. And yet you fail to see that despite a minor setback, my power is the greatest of all Sith in the galaxy! Where they lack vision, I can guide them towards a stronger future. Where they follow false idols, I present the true challenge of being a Sith! I am the dark side! And I will drag this Imperium that I have built forward to victory, whether those involved want to or not...my vision is clear, and I know what needs to be done..."Sure of himself and confident in his abilities and vision, the Sith'ari stepped back from the cell bars. With a small sigh, he spoke once more. "It seems you have been around much longer than even I would have expected...you are patient, cunning, and meticulous in your methods. And yet, like so many others before you, you truly believe you are Darth Millennial. A prophet...a false idol clinging to ideals that make you feel important. But let's face the truth, shall we? You lost your following and hold on to the Sith Worlds to me. My strength increased while yours decreased, as declared by the Rule by the Strong ideology. Something that you would follow...no? Regardless, I am a Sith, and the Sith Code dictates what my next course of action is..."With a flick of his wrist, the cell door clicked open, and the neural disruption collar around Millennial's neck clattered noisily to the floor."If you do not submit, then you are of no use to me...."Shrugging off his cloak, the Sith'ari reached his waist, unclipping his lightsaber hilt from his belt. Widening his stance and preparing to fight, he thumbed the activation studs. The red blades erupted out of either end of the hilt."You will prove far more useful to me in death than you ever did in life..."

Blackguard Imperium Medical Facility - Draven, Polis Massa The old Sith smirked as the Zabrak explained his power and even tried to insult Millennial's own beliefs. Thanks to his masterful understanding of the Precognition ability, he knew what was going to happen next, moments before it would happen. This allowed him to be prepared. The moment the neural collar was undone, he began muttering under his breath. And incantation for magic spell that Millennial happened to be rather well versed in. The moment the cell door opened and the Zabrak drew his lightsaber, Millennial was ready for him. The moment the last word left the Zabrak's lips, Millennial was on his feet, right hand outstretched. Tendrils of energy, appearing due to Millennial's incantation, sprang forth and wrapped themselves around the Zabrak, pinning him to the wall. Chuckling, Millennial strode towards the Zabrak."Oh, I don't think so. You may be powerful and you may command a powerful military and navy, but you do not command me, nor do you possess even half of the wisdom I do...Odojinya...a handy little incantation that conjures up tendrils of dark side energy, forming an unbreakable mesh...it also effectively severs your connection to the Force as well as continually saps your strength...so you may as well get comfortable."Millennial chuckles again, amused at the fact that the Zabrak thought he was going to outsmart him. No, Millennial wasn't done here. Not by a long shot. He has business to discuss with the Sith'ari. Once that was concluded, it would be up to the Zabrak to decide exactly how this would play out.

Completely unprepared for what happened next, as he was expecting an easy kill, the Sith'ari found himself pinned to the wall, saber hilt dropping from his grip, blades deactivating. A nauseating numbness washed over him as the whispers within his skull ceased completely. And then, he felt drained. Physically weak. The harder he struggled against the net that was now holding him, the worse it got. Gritting his teeth, he roared angrily at Millennial.
"You dare!?!"
Unfortunately, he was effectively trapped, unable to do much else, aside from utter impotent threats, which did little to ease his boiling rage.
"Either get on with it, or set me free...and I suggest you disappear rather quickly...if I manage to get out of this, you do not want me to get my hands on you..."
Struggling against the dark side net once more, the Zabrak ceased his struggles as another wave of crippling nausea washed over him. His physical strength alone was not enough to break the bonds that held him in place. But he was effectively cut off from the Force. And the longer he remained bound, the less strength he'd possess once he was free. It was infuriating, but unfortunately he was at the mercy of Millennial for the time being.

The Sith chuckled again at the Zabrak's immediate rage and utterance of threats. But until Millennial uttered the dissipate incantation, the web would remain. And so too, would the Zabrak be pressed against the wall. It was a rather amusing situation, to tell the truth. One of the more powerful beings of his time was currently at the mercy of an aged Sith, completely defenseless.
"Save your remaining strength, Zabrak. Had I wanted you dead, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now."
Millennial smirked once more, then stepped towards the restrained Zabrak, looking him in the eyes.
"Rather than issuing impotent threats, listen to what I have to say. I come with both a warning and a guarantee. Now, I normally wouldn't be in such a charitable mood, considering our intertwining history, however, I feel that letting you know exactly how things are going to play out will be significant punishment for everything you took from me...I want you to know and I want you to suffer. Everything you have ever built will eventually be mine. Your Imperium will crumble. You will die and be forgotten in the sands of time..."
Gathering the Force around himself, his eyes fluttered closed, but Millennial's third eye opened. Around them, the facility melted away, being replaced with a reflective, water-like floor and and dark, opaque fog blocking everything from their vision minus what was right before them. It was Millennial's mental "dreamscape". Not exactly the real world, not exactly in either Millennial or the Zabrak's mind, and not exactly in the Nether, but somewhere in between. Here, it was merely Millennial and the Zabrak, who was now appearing unbound. Even though he was cut off from the Force, Millennial was able to bring him here, at least for a brief amount of time. And it would serve Millennial's purpose. Images began to shift and take shape around them. It was a battle. And as the images became clearer, it was a battle between Imperium forces.
The end of your Imperium. Consumed by civil war, it eventually collapses. But not before you perish. Despite all your best attempts to avoid and cheat death, your tale ends. Your death sparks the resulting civil war as those loyal to you fight in your name, and those seeing you as a failure, resist your rule and fight back. Doomed to repeat history, as all Sith are. Everything that you are and everything that you will be, will eventually be lost. A footnote in the long and bloodied history of the Sith. You cannot fight fate...and know this...I will be the one to send you to your grave. The price to pay for immortality and the price to pay for robbing me of everything I had worked so hard to achieve...your days are numbered, from here on out. But you will know when the time comes...
The visage of Millennial began to laugh as he strode away from the standing from of the Zabrak.
Until next time, Sith'ari...

The man's words rang hollow in his ears. Millennial had caught him off guard, nothing more. Next time, and he would guarantee there would be a next Millennial would wish he'd never allowed himself to be caught, that he had chosen to stay in whatever dark hole he resided in before seeking out the Conclave. It wasn't until Millennial closed his eyes, and the third one opened, that everything started to actually click. Having been in Millennial's foggy dreamscape before, during their brief interaction over Dromund Kaas, the Sith'ari had managed to break the "rules" of Millennial's realm. This time, however, he was cut off from the Force. Being dragged along was a weird sensation. Like having an out of body experience. Everything was happening, right before his eyes, and yet it felt as if he was watching someone else's life unfold. That was, until the fog began to shift and swirl, revealing a battle between Imperium forces. Sith Troopers and combat droids clashed, as did several red lightsabers. Ships fired on each other. It was chaotic. And then the sense of his own impending death lingered over him, as Millennial spoke within his mind. He was wrong. He had to be, right? There was no way Millennial could seize the Imperium and take over, was there? Even as it stood, there was still a significant amount of people that were loyal to him, or at the very least, his ideals. Natalia and Znalost would never let the Imperium fall...no. This wasn't possible. It had to be the conjuring of Millennial. He was manipulating everything here. Making the Sith'ari see things that weren't true. There was just no way...and the last thing Savage remembered, was the shock of disbelief before he faded into unconsciousness...

As the Zabrak's consciousness faded, Millennial brought them back to the corridor outside his cell. Still bound by the dark side web, Millennial muttered the dissipate incantation under his breath. As the dark side energy dissipated, the Zabrak's unconscious form slumped to the floor. Millennial thought about killing him right here and there, but it would prove anything. No. Millennial had much greater plans for this Zabrak. He would suffer. He would pay for everything he had wrought upon Millennial and his fellow Sith. All in due time, however. Besides, killing the Sith'ari here wouldn't prove just how completely frail and weak the Zabrak truly was. There had to be witnesses. His minions needed to see him fall, if there were to be a civil war. The great Sith'ari of the Blackguard, slain in combat. It certainly had a nice ring to it. And it would certainly help motivate those who only stuck around because of the fear he inspired. Or loyalty. Either way, an audience was needed. Leaving the Zabrak slumped over on the floor would be fine. Besides, he needed to find his cloak and his lightsaber. Conveniently located at the security check point down the corridor, the aged Sith donned his cloak and clipped his lightsaber to his belt. Making his way quickly through the facility, following the calling of his ship, he arrived in the hangar in short order. And there it sat. His Sith Meditation Sphere. Climbing aboard, Millennial powered the ship up. Allowing the automated docking process continue, his ship was moved across the floor and raised to the surface of the asteroid. Lifting off the pad, Millennial then piloted his ship away from the Blackguard facility. Punching in the coordinates for his fleet, his sphere jumped to hyperspace, leaving the medical facility, and the Sith'ari, behind.

Awakening on the corridor floor outside Millennial Reborn's cell, the Sith'ari slowly rises to his feet, rubbing his head with one and massaging his wrist with the other. The dark side bindings had burned his bare skin where it had made contact. Surprisingly, he was still alive. If Millennial intended to fight and kill him, he wanted an audience. Angry that he had allowed Millennial to get the better of him, he merely collected his saber hilt and returned it to his belt. For now, there was no reason to linger here anymore. Millennial had escaped and most likely was as far away as he could safely get. He couldn't hunt him down, as the galaxy was a prominent place. No. Millennial would rear his head again. And this time, he'd be ready. Of that, he was sure. Donning his cloak, the Sith went down the corridor to the hangar bay. Climbing aboard his Infiltrator, he cycled the bay's automated launch procedure, allowing his ship to be carried over to the platform that would raise it to the surface. Once on Polis Massa's surface, Savage lifted the craft off the pad and accelerated skywards. Once clear of Polis Massa's naturally formed gravity well, his ship disappeared into the swirling depth of hyperspace.

A inter-dimensional tunnel through time and space opened as a wedged shaped prow ramped up to lightspeed and entered the realm of hyperspace, traveling the swirling luminous waves of the wormhole and risking its unpredictable tides. The crimson hull stood in stark contrast to the glowing blue ripples, hurdling through the wormhole as it made a relatively short jump. On the opposite end of the tunnel, a hole opened and a Victory II-class Star Destroyer emerged from the corridors of the hyper lane and entered the Rishi system.Location: Abrion Sector - Rishi System Star Date: 20220213Standing on the bridge of the Red Witch, dark acolyte Caspian Knowles looked out the main viewport at the star system spread out before them. He was an enigma to the bridge crew, swathed in layers of black shadow silk that seemed to swallow up the light around him. Gloved hands were crossed over his chest as he peered ahead, seeing with more than just his yellow bloodshot eyes, piercing the very fabric of reality to stare into the aether itself. Invisible to all save himself, the darkside radiated from his core, bleeding from his aura like an infectious disease. He focused on old hatreds as he channeled the dark waters of the malevolent fey, feeling the change in his flesh occurring at a microscopic level. As was the case with all of Famine's servants, the dark apostle was afflicted with a physical corruption that was the result of prolonged exposure to the wicked currents of the Force. Risen blue veins pulsed beneath his pale flesh like writhing worms. Hanging around his neck was a golden chain connected to a uniquely designed emblem concealed within the folds of his robe. The object pulsed as the acolyte reached out with his astral self, using the emblem as a beacon to draw the attention of his master."Clear the bridge." His cold voice rumbled, evoking fear and compulsion from the bridge crew in equal measure. Umbaran officers in filthy uniforms rose from their stations and filed off the deck, one at a time. When the bridge doors sealed behind the last of them, Caspian lowered himself to a knee and opened himself up completely to the Force, exposing his soul to the attention of the Great Devourer.Across the bridge the lighting seemed to dim until it had all melted away into darkness. Something beyond the edge of his vision slithered around the perimeter of the room, always just out of sight no matter how fast he turned his head. Eventually he closed his eyes and allowed the stalking entity to do as it pleased. When his eyes reopened, he found himself surrounded by numerous coils of thick black scale. A wet bead dripped onto his forehead. He raised a gloved hand and wiped at it, revealing sticky crimson that he rubbed between his fingers. Looking up, he found himself staring into the molten red eyes of a giant serpent, neck hood spread wide and fangs glistening with venom. Purple clouds of poison breath wisped from its nostril slits and a long forked tongue flicked spittle and bloody flecks at the apostle. Caspian, to his credit, remained composed as he stared into the face of his master's astral projection."What is thy bidding, my master?" The giant serpent's fanged maw widened in wicked pleasure and it continued to bore into the acolyte's soul with its bloody gaze. When the serpentine projection eventually spoke, its voice was accompanied by an all encompassing rattle that shook the very air. All warmth seemed to have been drained from the room as the reptilian rasped, misting his servant in a deluge of ethereal blood and venom.<< The Feassst Day of the Eye drawz near and a harvessst mussst be reaped in preparation, my apossstle. Prepare the way to the Rishi syssstem and I will arrive shortly to collect a tithe of bone and blood. Hear me and Obey! >>A chill ran up Caspian's spine as he felt the Hungering One take measure of his soul. He had found it wise to always show obeisance when in the presence of the Famine Lord, lest he risk the saurian Sith's ceaseless appetite and find himself summarily consumed. Raising his bowed head, he met the burning coals of his master's gaze and nodded, before stating his servitude audibly."It will be so, my master. All glory to the Eye." Dark laughter shook the projected nightmare's spiraling coils, hissing loudly as the illusion made manifest displayed its amusement. Swarms of blackflies spewed from the great serpent's maw with every chuckle.<< Indeed. All glory to the Eye. Siss siss siss! >> In the breadth of an instant, the bridge lighting flickered back to life and all traces of the serpentine projection were gone. His heart beating hard in his chest, the dark acolyte clasped a hand to his bosom where the emblem was concealed. The golden symbol of the Almighty Eye glowed blistering white, charring the front of his tunic. He grit his teeth as the totem began to cool, having seared its mark into his very flesh. His bones ached and his blood felt like acid in his veins after conversing with the embodiment of the Eye's great hunger. Connecting with the mind of his master always took its toll.Rising, he returned to the command throne on the bridge and took a seat, centering himself before summoning the bridge crew to return. Shortly thereafter the Red Witch's sublight engines propelled it forwards, deeper into the heart of the Rishi system.

]MASTER SELVEK:
*Once his ship was safely in the hyperspace route, he set the Corellian freighter 'LightRunner' on autopilot but kept his sensors open for any potential threats. He went down to the cargo hold, lifting the hatch where he'd 'smuggled' his new apprentice and cocked an eyebrow in mild amusement when the young man in question popped up from his uncomfortable position and climbed awkwardly out with his wrists secured firmly in binders behind his back.*
"Well, I suppose introductions are in order. I am Jedi Master Kup Selvek. Welcome to my ship, the LightRunner. Make yourself at home, my dear boy. There is much to be done!"
ADONIAS:
*Adonias scowled at the Jedi as he struggled up to his feet. He glared at Master Selvek and growled lowly.*
"Kidnapping me was such a STUPID move on your part! My father will not stand for this. He will kill you if given the chance!"
MASTER SELVEK:
*He hummed to himself in thought. At last he spoke.*
"Apparently, we are going to need to work on your manners, my apprentice. Come, follow me."
ADONIAS:
*He did not move a muscle and remained standing where he was. HIs mind was still weakened from the Sith artifact's power, allowing this JEDI to easily manipulate him. It made Adonias VERY angry...especially when he couldn't stop his legs from moving of their own accord at Master Selvek's strong force suggestion.*
MASTER SELVEK:
*He subtly waved a hand, imbuing his words with force suggestion.*
"You will follow me, come."
*The duo went into the adjoining room that had a holotable and some sofas in a lounge type area. The Jedi casually waved a hand and Adonias felt the binders fall off fof his wrists. He absentmindedly rubbed the red marks on his skin, massaging his sore wrists but that scowl from before never left his face.*
"What do you want?" *Adonias questioned rather moodily.*
"What do you know of the light side of the force?"
"Not much," *Adonias admitted.
"Then we will begin with the basics."
*Master Selvek began to instruct Adonias in light side meditation, force push, force pull, and taught him how to shield his mind from another Force wielder. Adonias cooperated, his curiosity getting the better of him. He liked the light side of the Force, it sang to him in a way the Dark Side never did. The light was soothing and sweet, filling him with a sense of righteous purpose. It didn't take long for him to learn new saber techniques and forms. Jedi Master Selvek seemed to enjoy using Forms 2 (Makashi) and 4 (Ataru) the most.*

MASTER SELVEK:
*They trained the entire way to their destination, staying in the hyperspace lane for approximately three days. The Jedi had to gently reprimand young Adonias for slipping into old habits. It took a lot of effort to even slightly humble the young man before him. He still carried a lot of anger, anger that his father taught him, no doubt. At last, the duo went to the cockpit where they took their respective places in the pilot and co-pilot's seats. Just before dropping out of hyperspace, Adonias said one thing that made Master Selvek's blood run cold.*
ADONIAS:
*He looked crestfallen but still retained his stubborn demeanor.*
"If you plan to make me fight against my father and Crystal...you are going to be sorely disappointed."
MASTER SELVEK:
*While he had indeed instructed Adonias how to hide his force presence and lightly shield his mind from another Force user, he did not teach him everything. As a Jedi Master, he kept some crucial knowledge to himself. While forcing the boy to battle beside him against his Sith father and the Sith's young apprentice, seemed very un-Jedi like of him, he knew the odds were with him if he could fully sway young Adonias to his side. Should Adonias forsake his Dark SIde teaching, the boy would in all likelihood, refuse to hesitate against his foes in battle...which was Selvek's plan all along.*

Darth Strife (Force Voice):
From in the 'Shade' as it traveled through hyperspace towards Crait, Darth Strife heard his son through the force. "Hold on, Son. Crystal and I are on our way. Remember, through passion, you gain strength. There is nothing wrong with feeling. Use your emotions to gain strength. The Jedi will not be your match."

Crystal:
She paced anxiously as the 'Shade' flew rapidly towards Crait. Ignoring the streaks of stars outside of the cockpit window, she chewed on her thumbnail. Would they arrive to the planet in time to aid Adonias? She didn't know. The will of the force be done, but that didn't stop her distress. The memories of childhood bubbled up. Her brother, black haired and blue eyed, just like her, had been a serious little kid. But she had always been able to make him laugh and join in her antics. She felt like she hadn't laughed or smiled in years but back then, she had never really stopped smiling. Her family had filled her with warmth. When the shadowed threat came and attacked, her brother had been in the woods with her. She could picture it now, the brilliant sun and buzzing of insects was overlayered by laughter and berry juice as they picked wild berries on the fringe of the deeper woods. Her brother had a smear of berry juice on his forehead and she had been chasing him with a handful of berries threatening more stains. With his head tipped back, belly laughs ringing out in the woods as he ran, her brother had seemed so happy and carefree. Then the screaming started from the direction of their house, high and almost inhuman. They had both skidded to a halt and looked at each other in shock. Her brother waited for her lead. If only she had led him deeper into the woods. If only she had run away from those screams instead of towards.
Crystal shuddered, coming out of the haze of remembering. Cheeks wet, she blinked furiously to keep further tears from falling while scrubbing away evidence with her sleeve. Strife didn't notice. Or at least, he pretended not to. That had always been their thing, she thought wryly. He hadn't mentioned her crying when she first started training with him and she hadn't mentioned the screaming she heard come from his room late at night as he was gripped by another nightmare. She winced. She probably woke screaming plenty of times too at first. And everything felt fresh again, like she had just relived seeing her family brutally murdered in front of her. If she couldn't manage to save them, how in the world would she be able to save Adonias? She shredded her thumbnail further, trying not to drown in memories as the time ticked past much too quickly.

~Together, the Mythril Raider and the Airmure emerged from hyperspace and progressed forward into the void of space. It was in this area that the Fortunate Sun currently resided. Being built within the shell of a Lucrehulk Battleship, it was capable of moving whenever needed and new coordinates where sent out to those who had connections to the shadowport. It had only moved maybe once or twice that she was aware of, if only to keep the scent of the mobile underworld away from and upstanding governments.
A few minutes passed before the vessel appeared before them. Growing closer, the air traffic and defense fleet could be seen as well. Once they were in range, she nodded to the pirate in charge of the comms and a channel was opened and access codes were transmitted. Normally the codes would be enough, allowing them access freely, especially if the ship was recognized. But there was more that Lenoka sought, hence why she opted to make the trip here this time around. With the channel opened, the Pantoran spoke.~
This is Lenoka Asichi of the Varcolaci Pirate Consortium. We have escorted the Airmure for our scheduled drop off. Access codes are being transmitted now. I also wish to speak with the Vazir at his earliest convenience. There is a small item we have picked up that I would like to give him personally.
~It was but a few moments before a response came.~
Codes received and permission granted. Currently the Vazir is not aboard the station. We will inform him once he returns of your request. Please enjoy your stay.
~Giving a bit of a sigh, Lenoka was disappointed that Scar wasn't available at the moment. No matter. She did enjoy what the shadowport had to offer. There were a few others things she wished to check on as well. With the channel closed, the ships pressed forward, as the woman took in the sight further. When she first arrived back at Ryloth, there had been the idea of raiding and taking over the vessel and those inside for her own purposes. After all, it was how she gained the power she had now. Many smaller pirate gangs had either joined her or were wiped out. The more she grew, the larger groups she brought under her wing. Luckily, she was hesitant with this claim until she saw what she was up against. Even with her current strength, doing so would create a terrible pirate war that would come serious consequences. The alliance, however, had proved more than fruitful. Acquisition didn't have to be everything.~
