A small flotilla exits hyperspace at the usual exit point and moves to set up defensive positions around the planet. The flotilla consists of a Republic SD, two Munifex LCs, and twenty four I-7 Howlrunners. They move interdependently, a ragtag group with little discipline, at least when they weren't in combat. They took up positions in high orbit over Pawns small facility in the mountains, as defending that was their primary objective. The captain reported the group's arrival to Pawn, and acknowledged the Rules of Engagement for the system. Any suspicious ships were to be immediately detained for questioning and searching, All ships were to be treated as hostile, until they checked in with Orbital control. Howlrunners began patrolling the space lanes in groups of four, while the Munifex LCs kept their weapons on standby and aimed towards the space lanes.

A Comm message from one of Pawn's many informants works it's way up the ladder, and catches the eyes of one his more trusted servants, who decides to follow up on this little tid-bit of information. Filing the appropriate paper work, and pushing the necessary files and data cards to their proper places, it arranges for one of the Munifex's and a squadron of Howlrunners to investigate the matter further. As ordered, one of the munifex's moves towards the hyperlanes, collecting it's squadron as it goes. Reaching the edge of the Adari system, the munifex stops as the navigator plots and inputs the requisite co-ordinates for the desired hyperspace jump. A moment later the ship shot off into the stars, entering the twisting labyrinth of hyperspace.

Another comm message comms in, this one reaching straight to top of the line, informing Pawn of the events on Algara II. He finds the events odd, and does a personal search on who might own that ship. Hours later, there are a few tentative possibilities, the most likely of which seems to be a notorious pirate captain, Bloodrage, if accounts could be trusted. Still, until the crew of the ship disembarked and interacted with populous of the system, it would be impossible to say definitely who owned the ship, much less what their intentions were. So he filed the list away, and after reviewing the action reports already filed, decided not to demote the watch officer, as their wasn't anything he could have done to prevent the incident.

With a spark of radiation a Republic SD, two Munifex LC, and five squadrons of I-7 howlrunners, the fighters tucked into their respective hangars, depart hyperspace not far from the planet Adari. The ship's signal the residing fleet and move to guard the planet proper, not from the small flotilla guarding the major hyperlane exit points. The system remained quite, biding its time, waiting for that perfect moment to step into the galactic spotlight. Pawn had returned, having failed to find suitably fascinating beings available to assist him in his plans and schemes. Perhaps his lost ship had found a suitably sufficient ally and was even now working out the possibilities of a future agreement. It had also come to his attention that he had of late been seeking help from beings that the galaxy new well, and that his search parameters needed to be widened. This being the case, Pawn ordered that one of the many impounded freighters be serviced and prepped for long distance travel.
