STARWARS RETURN of the EXILE
Don't you ever wonder if there is anything else out there for you. A place where you belong the most in this universe? There are those who seek this special place out until these people come to realize it was already their destiny to become what they sought out, even if there are some darker twists to the story. People grow up on this path, set out on an adventure as a kid and ending their own legend as a Heroic Knight until they grow old to be a wise sage to pass on the knowledge they learned threw the long journey before them. The Jedi way, a life some choose to find peace and serenity. A path others despise and wish to destroy. There are almost to many Jedi, once upon a time ago we were a group of peace keepers...not an army waging wars.
His thoughts of the Jedi Order were correct, even Dale agreed with him as they looked down upon the younglings training in the courtyard. Jedi Master Owen Altorii turned away from the courtyard and looked to his friend. Morgenstern, don't you ever think about what you would be if you hadn't come to the Jedi Order?
He usually didn't stray into those thoughts. He looked at Altorii with a shrug before he even started to think about it. The Jedi Order was boring if your adventure seeking, these days actually, many Jedi hopefulls have failed to gain the status as Padawan because of their adventure seeking, non patient ways. Those type of people would eventually seek more then the Order, you might as well call the Jedi Order a breeding ground for future Sith in the case. That has stopped now, the number of Jedi are decreasing and in the past two hundred years there were less reported Sith in the Empire. Dale looked at Owen and smirked. No, not often. Before i was a Jedi i wanted nothing more then to protect the one's I loved. I grew to understand the Jedi way, you must let go of what you fear to lose in order to truly protect and save those people in your life from any danger, including yourself. Before I found the Order fifteen years ago my wife was murdered, and I, a broken man. All i had left was my son. I couldn't protect him by being psychically there. You know the rest of the story.
Dale said as they wandered out of the Temple halls, into the fields of grass. The sun was setting upon the Horizon and the young were returning inside, The Jedi Order was becoming like it once was. True to the Jedi code. True guardians. True Jedi. Though anything could happen in a matter of years, months, days, or even hours. The force worked in mysterious ways. Altorii looked to Dale with a thought. Do you ever miss your child Dale. He said and Dale looked at him.
He looked away for a few moments, looking at the Horizon and then slowly looking down. I've learned to let go, but I love my son. I wish the best for him, the thought of him gives me peace. He lives with my brother, Jared. I trust no one more then I trust him. Master, is this some sort of test? If it is, i take no regret in my words.
Master Altorii looked to him and shook his head with a smile. No it isn't. And never stop loving your son. Despite learning to let go, deep down in all of us we hold someone dear. Though, It is a good life we lead, protecting the people of this galaxy.
The two of them stopped at the top of the hill watching the sun rest behind the mountains in the distance. Dale smiled. The best. Knowing he's out there, safe. May it never change.
Then Altorii looked at his apprentice. And may it never change us.

FIVE YEARS LATER
An Imperial fleet resided above the planet sized desert Tatooine. From the Star destroyer an Imperial landing craft appeared and launched with full speed ahead down towards Tatooine. A bunch of Nerf herders wandered the desert wasteland lead by a farmer with a sack full of wheat hulled over his shoulder, as always it is a hot scorching day on this planet. The worst type of planet to be a farmer, working from sunrise to sunset. The Imperial craft finally appeared descending from the blue skies then racing above the dunes in the direction of Mos Eisley, the most interesting place on this planet. Pretty much the only place for entertainment, which the low lives pretty much ran, profiting on the weak and poor, making men and women into slaves, forcing the people into a hard life of work and pain. It wasn't that bad if you owned your own business, people would buy your convenience and other shop owners would offer items for trading. Though the smart thing to do is, live on the outer perimeter of this city, where many did not wander and some had their own peace and quiet. Like young Jacen Morgenstern, Eighteen years old.
He could see Mos Eisley standing at the edge of cliff, just from where he lived. He noticed the Imperial landing craft vanish inside the city as he stood there with his arms crossed in wonder. Why would the Empire be interested in this dusty rock? Jacen thought as he turned away to enter his home after he heard his uncle shouting out to him, he walked down into the entrance and found Jared and his wife, Mara, sitting in the kitchen speaking quietly until Jacen arrived. He looked at the two knowing they were talking about him but he didn't care to ask about what, he just had that Imperial landing craft on his mind. He pulled up a chair and looked at Jared. I was thinking of entering the shooting competition next week, a couple of my friends have entered to.
Mara looked at Jared with a sigh, they knew something that Jacen did not know. Yet they remained quiet for the time being, Jared turned towards Jacen, planting his left elbow on the table after hearing what he had to say. No doubt Jacen had the potential to win this competition. Oh yeah...you uh, need credits for the competition, Jacen? Any entry fee we need to know about? That's when Jacen sighed. He crossed his arms and rested against them on the table. Yeah but its only a hundred credits! He said. Jared laughed with a shake of his head.
He grew quiet, looked from Mara to Jacen. That's half of your savings Jacen, I thought we talked about this.
Mara looked to Jared, then to Jacen. You can't waste half of your credits on something you might not even win, how many others are there?
He looked at Mara and shrugged. Fifty others...i don't know. He said quietly but then spoke up again. But everyone's entry fee is going towards the winning prize! That's 5000 credits, we'll be out of dept and over by 1000 credits. What if i win..
Jared looked at him. What if you lose? Mara kicked his leg. Alright!...we'll pay half.
Before Jacen could get excited there was a loud noise outside, echoing from somewhere in the distances. Jared stood up and told the two of them to stay where they were. Though Jacen came following anyway even when Mara called out to him. The two of them stopped at the edge of the cliff witnessing the bombardment of Mos Eisley. What in the- The same moment, a Star destroyer descended below the clouds. Jared looked at Jacen. Get your things now!! He shouted at Jacen. Mara was already outside, her mouth covered by her hand at the shocking sight. Why would the Empire attack this planet, of all planets! Jared said shouting.
Jacen had rushed inside and got together a few things. His blaster, a few clothes and some water. He knew he was missing something, he looked around until finally he noticed the emitting light from his top drawer. A glowing crystal he was given by his father before he left and never seen him again. He raced outside with his back pack strapped down across his chest. There were Imperial vehicles moving in every direction away from Mos Eisley. Jared had seen this before. They're looking for someone, a high threat to the Empire. They'd sacrifice thousands to kill the life of one person. Damn those bastards..
Jared said, they had a speeder out front waiting for Jacen. He threw him the keys when Jacen stopped and starred at them, something was not right. From the moment he awoke this morning everyone seemed weird. Not the same like any other day. Jared approached him and wrapped his arms around Jacen. Mara kept watching the Vehicles near. Jacen, there was something we needed to tell you. I don't have a lot of time, I- I'm really sorry. Your father, Dale, he died. Your father sent me a com message last night. He took out the com link. I'm so sorry. Listen to it only when your ready.
Jacen remembered his fathers face, he was in shock even though he hadn't seen his father in a long time. Jared gave him the com link and looked at him for a few more moments until Mara turned around and looked at the two. They're coming this way Jared!
Jared looked from Mara, to Jacen. Go! Get out of here Jacen!
Jacen, starred at them and stepped back. He got on the speeder and turned the bike on. I'll come back for you!!
Jared shook his head. Don't come back...don't you ever come back. There will be nothing left except death. We love you Jacen. Like our own.
Jacen starred at them, then he pulled back on the throttle and raced in the direction of the dunes. He accelerated fast, threw the wide open empty wasteland. Away from the conflict behind him and towards what ever awaited him out there. Towards his true beginnings.

He was alone and frightened, Jacen found a cave not far from the Dunes just past his home. He was in the dark and holding onto the com link Jared had given him, he looked over at the light of the cave entrance. A large boulder hid the entrance into the cave, he knew this was here for a long time since him and his friends use to hang out here when they were younger. It was the only place he could think of and the Empire were all over the place by now. Jacen looked down at his crystal, glowing within the grip of his hand curled into a fist. Mos Eisley
XSIVIOUS'S THEME
Innocents were being murdered. Even the women and children were being slain, murdered and taken as slaves for the Empire. Threw the fire and rubble, down onto the other side of the market place the Imperial transport opened. A rather tall man, bald, with a sinister look upon his face stepped out from out of the shade inside this transport. He wore black armor and metal plating similar to that of Vader, with that black cape swaying with the wind behind himself. There was resistance amongst the city, many smugglers held out in bars were they usually spent time and credits. Others were just getting shot down all over the place in the streets.
From the scattering crowds all over the place, Jared Morgenstern appeared with his shirt stained of blood. He drew his katana blade, since he was well trained in the Jedi arts by his own brother. Xsivious ignited a blood red emitting light saber then began to slice threw the approaching fools who thought they could kill him. Age can be a useful weapon to deceive others, he was strong and ruthless to his enemy. Darth Xsivious knew who Jared was, he looked like Dale and he felt the similar aura that Jared's Jedi brother had. Where is he, Morgenstern. The evil tyrant said when Jared aimed the tip of his blade towards Xsivious.
He is not here! Your killing innocents over false information. End this madness! Jared shouted as the troopers stormed each and every building. Xsivious chuckled and began walking towards Jared with that same menacing look upon his face. You will tell me his location, or you will die.
He said, holding his blade across himself. Xsivious starred at him for a few moments then looked up into the distance, he could see the cliffs, and the small glimmer of a reflection. There was a settlement there, it was Jareds home. He smirked and then finally raised his saber and swung at Jared. The battle of Mos Eisley raged on, with pockets of rebellion slowly arising all over the place.

A dim blue light lit up the darkness of the cave Jacen was inside, the communication link had been set on the ground so he could hear and see his fathers message. Of all places on this scorching planet, this cave was actually not that bad in temperature. Though it wasn't the temperature on his mind right now obviously, a city of people were slaughtered just a short while ago, his father is dead and now everyone he's ever known is gone. He is truely alone, perhaps seeing his fathers face could help him in a time like this.
That made his decision after a few hesitant stops from deciding whether or not he actually wanted to look at it yet. He stepped back with a curious look on his face, what appeared from the communications device was visual distortion, no image. He felt let down by this, disappointing. Following only the voice of his father. Son...it's your father. I don't know if you remember me, I don't expect you to believe anything I have to say. You're still my son and I just want you to know I've always been watching over you, from the markets of Mos Eisley. To running off the Sand people from harming you, Jared and Mara. I've been around, but I could never be with you. There is a darkness rising, a great evil. The galaxy is changing Jacen and i just wish i had more time to prepare you for this dramatic change, but you have to prepare yourself. I've left you an emergency crate hidden out in the dunes, find it Jacen and take what is inside. I understand what must be on your mind right now, i wish i could answer your questions but i have little time left. By the time you get this message, I and the rest of the Jedi here at this temple will be dead. I'm sorry i couldn't be there for you. I love you son. Goodbye.
Jacen fell back onto the rock. He felt almost betrayed by the message, not because of his father. He had so much he wanted to ask, with so little time. He was a man with a million questions which none could be answered.

Imperial soldiers had arrived at the burning home up on the cliff and the one to follow was Xsivious, sadly Jared didn't stand a chance. Had a heart of a lion but the wit of a fool, the Sith lord had already won when he crossed blades with the man. The smoke ascended into the skies, the Sith looked about the area until he noticed the spread of sand. It was the speeder and he was looking in the direction it had gone, he turned in that direction then looked to one of his soldiers. Send scouts to find him and set blasters to stun, i don't want him dead Commander. He said. And Commander, do not fail me this time.
Xsivious said. Yes Sir. The Commander saluted the Sith lord worryingly then left his presence.
Back out into the Dunes, Jacen was on the move again. Mos Entha was out there somewhere and he had to reach it, then get off this planet. He hadn't even thought of where he was going, the thought had not even crossed his mind. He knew no one but there was bound to be some sort of resistance out there, but what did rest of the galaxy look like? Hopefully the rest of the planets didn't end up like this one here. A part of him actually hopes they catch the one their looking for so this madness would end. Then he thought about his father being a Jedi, could he be a Jedi? Could he take up his fathers path and be a Jedi? The galaxy seems like its in dire need of a few heroes right about now. Slipping down into a small put he instantly began climbing the other side amongst the dune, the sand was slippery and his boots sank. The slope didn't seem really steep, from here at least. He dragged his arms and legs threw it all, making slow progress. All of the sudden beneath his feet the ground unfolded, revealing the disturbing mouth of a sarlaac.
Oh no! Anyone out there!! Help me!! He shouted out immediately. Jacen had no plan to be digested over a thousand years, no plan to even live a thousand years. The arms or, legs....whatever part of it came out wavering all over the place. It hit Jacen in the leg as he shouted in pain. Attempting to wrap around Jacens leg. Then he began to fall further but he kept climbing the best he could. In a bit of trouble kid?
Thats when a shadow casted above him in front of the sun, he couldn't see who it was because the sun wrapped around his image and all Jacen could see was light. The man knelt down. Its like sinking sand...the more you struggle the faster you fall. He smirked. How could he be so calm right now?! Jacen struggled to hold on and looked at the man. Jacen reached out to him. Get me out of here!! Jacen shouted.
The man finally got down and reached out, he grabbed Jacens wrist as did Jacen then began pulling him up against the sand. The sarlaac went for another grab but hit the sand just next to Jacen. He finally pulled Jacen up over the top and threw him out. He fell back as well, turned to get up then brushed himself off. Jacen coughed, then struggled to get up with the pain in his leg. He looked over at the man who saved him. Thanks. He said finally getting a look at his face. The man starred at Jacen. So uh, shouldn't i get some kind of payment for that? 100 credits for saving your life. Come on kid..
Jacen looked at him squarely and shook his head. The guy was about to complain when from out of no where, coming from deep within the sarlaac pit, one of its arms wrapped around this mans leg and pulled him to the ground. He got pulled towards the edge as he reached out for Jacens help. Jacen ran towards him. Ah thank you.. He said until Jacen grabbed his blaster. Bastard! I saved you!! He said until Jacen shot a few times until finally hitting the arm of the sarlaac. The guy crawled away, got up and backed away from it. He looked at Jacen.
Consider that your payment. Jacen said then threw him his blaster. The sun was about twenty minutes away from setting, so the dark would give them some cover. But the Sarlaac pits around here were nearly invisible at night. It was pitch black during the night time. That's when the sarlaac fed the most. Many more unfortunate souls wander the night out of the suns beam of heat. Jacen then began to walk away when the guy followed. Mos Entha's a dump...the Imperials wrecked it. I'm heading to Eisley, some say its still okay there, just a rumor.
Jacen stopped in his tracks then looked in the direction he was heading to. Towards Mos Entha, he cursed under his breath. It sounds like many people would be wandering back and forth tonight, no doubt a meal for the sarlaac, and just more of a chance the imperials will find the one their looking for. He turned around shaking his head. Eisley is no better. Dammit...I had hoped Entha wasn't hit.

We have no where to go, both cities are gone and the Imperials are killing a lot of people. He looked at Jacen then held out his hand. Cale Bryre... He said introducing himself. Just in case one of us gets out of this alive we'll know the name of who saved our lives. Jacen thought about it. He shook his hand. Jacen Morgenstern...and I don't plan on dying out here.
Cale chuckled after what he had said and he shook his head. No one does Kid.
They were just fifteen minutes away from where they were previously. The Sky a dark blue, wandering out here was becoming more risky by the minute. The two of them were heading west, between the two directions of Entha and Eisley. The Imperials had invaded in both directions and any other city was to far, but there had to be something out there, it couldn't be the end of their trail. In the distance near a couple of rocky hills a star ship was getting bombarded & chased by two TIE fighters, they both stopped and watched. The fighters fired a volley of shots once again just as the star fighter took an evade of maneuvers, but it wasn't enough when suddenly the left engine blew and the starship spiraled down into the hills. They could see the explosion from here, following by the TIE fighters direction change heading near their area. Get down! Shouted Cale. They both got down behind a sand pit and waited for the fighters to pass. Eventually they flew overhead and kept going in the opposite direction, they were safe.
That was to close. We need to find some cover, were sitting ducks to the Imperials and any prey out here in the Dunes. You never know...those sand people could be watching. He said taking a look around at the hills in the distance. They got over the sand pitt and continued to keep walking, nothing now. The skies were clear and everything was beginning to become dark, soon they would be blind out here. Then suddenly Jacens communication link began making a 'beep' sound, he looked down at it attached to his belt, took it off and looked at it. That's weird. It doesn't usually do that..
He said, Cale grabbed it and looked at it. He had seen something like this before, one of those modified communications device. He looked it over and tried to get an opening to the inside of the device. Anything could be making that sound. What are you doing? Jacen said curiously. Though Cale continued inspecting the odd beeping sound coming from the communication link, he found a clip then finally pulled it open.
I've seen this before. Some forty years ago the Imperials use to do this, its an old signal they don't use anymore and their devices are unable to pick up, the small blinking object inside this com link is a tracker. Only...its not the receiving end. Weird. If I'm right, its picking up a signal from its receiving end. Cale looked up in every direction then noticed the hills, casting some shade down upon some part of the hills and with the darkening skies he spotted a small flare of light amongst the hill. He pointed this out and looked at Jacen. Whoever gave this to you...wanted you to find something, or someone. He said referring to the light. It looks like a fire in that cave up there.
Jacen thought about it. He couldn't believe it. His father gave this to Jared to give to him, could it possible he sent that message so that if the Imperials got their hands on it he would still be known as dead? Possible. And just maybe he is alive...waiting for Jacen in that cave. Dad.. He said and began running. Cale looked at him then began following behind.

The two of them reached the base of these hills, up above they spotted a narrow path going up into the cave. Finally catching up with Jacen he stopped to catch his breath until finally he looked at him after noticing the fire was still on. You don't know who's up there...it could be anybody. What if its a trap?
Cale made a good point, but Jacen didn't see it. He shook his head. It's not a trap. Jacen said when he began walking up the path towards the cave in the hills, he believed it was his father waiting for him up there. Well he was about to find out. Cale followed him up into the entrance when they entered and discovered someone sitting on a log just in front of the fire, cloaked and not taking any notice of their presence here. Father? Jacen said suddenly. The mans head shook, he was quiet until he grabbed a stick from the fire and stabbed the dirt beneath his bare feet. An old man looked to the younger men, standing and waiting curiously. I am not your father boy!
Cale stepped around Jacen to look at this old guy, Cale was a quick thinker. First thing anybody living on Tatooine long enough would of noticed the log, the sticks, from tree's that didn't even exist on this planet. Jace starred at the old man. Then why- The man smirked at him, Jacen stopped speaking. First you must question yourself. I am the harboring hermit of this cave, your path brought you to me. Not me to you! The question is... He continued speaking to him while he drew something in the sand. Why you are here.
Jacen thought about the com link signal, he looked around but there was no technology here. It didn't make sense and even Cale knew that something was off here, he moved to go on the other side of the man to see if there was anything else in the dark he could see when suddenly the old guy took his stick and whacked Cale in the leg multiple times. What was that for!
Cale shouted in pain as he quickly stepped back and stumbled against the cave wall. He rubbed his leg and starred at the old guy. My cave! The old guy shouted, Cale continued to rub his leg, looking at the old guy like he was crazy. Jacen stepped towards him. Do you know where my father is? This brought me here...you must know something.
He said, the old guy snatched it from his hand and looked it over. Does not do what you need...no longer do you need this i say! He shouted then threw it in the fire. It was barely in the flames, Jacen moved towards it but the fire was to hot. No! I need that! The old guy laughed.
If you truly wanted it you could get it! It was close to falling in the flames. With a sigh Jacen began reaching out to the device in the fire when suddenly the old man whacked the top of his hand with the stick, a red mark marked from the stick stung on his hand. That hurts! Jacen said when Cale chuckled. Now you know how it feels!
Jacen looked at him for a second then went to get it again. No! Only a fool would burn themselves over a piece of junk. Reach out into the fire, harming yourself is a fools act. A fool you are not, young Morgenstern. The old man starred at him. He was trying to tell Jacen something without directly saying it. Cale raised his voice. Use a stick! He said. Jacen felt foolish, but it seemed that the old guy was holding the only stick here.
Your mind...stretch out with your mind! Then take it. He glared at the old man. He looked at the fire, making an orange tint amongst the cave, reflecting in his eyes. He reached out towards the fire trying to take the device, something moved amongst this fire. The Device began to rattle. Cale sat forward not believing his eyes. Jacen tried harder when suddenly...the device stopped moving. The metal melted from the heat, it was now a piece of junk. The old man sighed with a shake of his head. I don't have time for this. You know my father could be in danger? And now my only way of finding him is gone.
To much emotion, the path ahead, ready he is not. The man was no doubt crazy. Talking in circles like that. Where'd he even come from, Jacen thought. He stepped over the fire and walked threw the cave, but there was no where else to go in here. He returned to the old guy with a thought about what he just said. Ready for what, what am i suppose to be ready for?
Then in a warningly expression the old man spoke. Failure. You, are not ready to Fail. Your path ends here young Morgenstern.

How can one learn to Fail, when failing could mean death. The old guy sighed, he grew quiet and only the cracking of the fire could be heard. The old man threw the stick he had into the fire, between him and the flames he drew the Jedi Order symbol in the sand. He starred at it, also thinking of this boy.
You must prepare to accept Death, it is one of the many results of failing. There will be others you will meet along this path, no doubt. People will die and if you are not ready to accept the possible death of a friend, you cannot take responsibility of those around you. Train yourself to let go of those you fear to lose. Fear is a dangerous emotion Jacen.
There was a moment here when Jacen felt like this man seemed familiar, he took a few steps towards the old guy and then knelt down on the opposite side of the fire. There was no way this guy could of known his name, or last name for that matter. You know my father.. The man still looked at the drawing in the sand until he brushed it aside ruining the picture. He looked to Jacen and nodded.
I know your father well. The man seemed worried, but he tried hard to cover this. A powerful warrior he is, everyone that got in his way were struck down by his blade. There was once a time when he was a great Jedi of the Order, a time ago. Your father loved attention, the battle of Mandalore was one of those times. The day he broke the leader of the Mandalorians and struck down his unarmed opponent. The Mandalorians chanted his name. Me, along with two other Jedi watched him. He....your father... He said now looking to Jacen. He was a Jedi but he wasn't true to the code. He hurt a lot of people in his path for glory and a Jedi never strives for personal gain.
Jacen starred at him, glared into the fire then looked to the ground. He was quiet and he didn't want to believe what was coming from this mans mouth, finally he shook his head, not accepting this is what his father was like. That's not the man I remember...you've got the wrong man.
The old man chuckled and shook his head. No Jacen, you have got the wrong man. I am Owen Altorii, I was once your fathers pupil. Many years ago. If you don't believe me then that is your choice, you have your free will. But a lie!
While they continued talking, Cale was long asleep, snoring in the background. Jacen grew quiet. Was Dale Morgenstern really the man this, 'Owen Altorii' explained? Jacen could remember his younger years before his father left. He was a good man, his father loved Jacen more then anything. Jared spoke about Dale many times, how he always wanted to help people. This wasn't true, that was the only thought clear to Jacen right now

Forget what you once knew...there are things you know not of. Things you will discover in time. He was asleep, but at which point of the night did he fall asleep? Maybe it was hours on lookout, Jacen was very tired. He couldn't stop dreaming about his father, the day he left to fight for the Jedi Order. Everything Altorii said did not make any sense about the man he once knew. Those last words Altorii spoke echoed inside his head, he couldn't help it, but he feared his father was actually not the man he use to know.
The next day he was awoken by the heat shining inside the cave, he had fallen asleep right where the sun shined inside. He felt like something was wrong and he looked around, Cale is here still sleeping but the old man Altorii was not. He got up and walked outside, looking around while he shielded his eyes from the blinding sun. Many dunes away a woman moved threw the desert. She was by herself, the young woman stopped infront of a robe. The same robe Altorii had been wearing last night, it was on the ground half covered with sand. She knelt down and rubbed her fingers against its fabric, then she looked up. Jedi.. The young woman said. She felt that the one who had worn this is dead, much recent and his presence still lingered near by, the presence powerful and one with the force. Your as useless to him as you are dead.
She said then and got up, Altorii is in fact dead. His death is a mystery, perhaps he was waiting for something. And, it was just his time. He looked at her, his blue aura faint and almost invisible. She continued the way she had been heading when she noticed the hills and walked into that direction after a short hesitation. When Jace returned to the cave, Cale had just woken up with a long yawn. He brushed himself off then looked over to Jacen. Wheres the old guy gone?
Jacen shook his head with a sign of worry upon his face. I don't know...but i have a feeling we wont see him again. I think we should leave...I have a bad feeling about something.
Cale looked at him while he stood up and grabbed his things. What do you mean bad feeling? Like?
Jacen turned to the exit of the cave. Like we're being followed.

Both Jacen and Cale reached the bottom of the hill, Cale bent over to catch his breath until he looked up and noticed the girl approaching Jacen from out of no where. Jacen! Cale shouted. He turned around to look at the girl who stopped. She looked weary, exhausted and dehydrated. Then suddenly she fell over and fainted. He got down quickly then grabbed a water from his inventory, he put it to her lips letting the water run over her mouth and face. She coughed and had trouble breathing, he put his hand under her head, then she looked at him and passed out. She's still alive...barely. We need to get off this rock!
Jacen said then shielded his eyes as he walked out towards Jacen with his eyes set onto the sky. There was a ship heading their way, it was silver with a brown line going threw the middle, front to back. It landed just onto the dunes from where they were. I think we have our way off Jacen.. He said to him as he drew his blaster and aimed it at the stranger leaving his ship and approaching quickly.
Come on, hurry up! If you want to get off of this planet we need to go now! Jacen looked up at the robed stranger and nodded. He lifted up the girl into his arms until Cale walked up beside Jacen and stopped him for a moment. We can't trust him. We barely know him...
Jacen looked over at him. I barely know you!
Jacen said as he begun to walk, Cale shrugged then followed behind. After they entered the ship the captain immediately took off, in the sitting area of the ship, Jacen had the girl set down on one of the seats lid down. The ship shook and it sounded like they were being fired upon. Hold on! The captain shouted threw the halls, they took a seat. After a while the shaking stopped, a while after the captain walked into the back, straight into the aim of Cales blaster. Who are you with! Cale said.
The guy looked at him like he was foolish. Does it matter? Right now we're all survivors of the Imperial Invasion. We're not safe yet...they could track our location.
Cale hesitated but lowered the blaster. Jacen looked at the girl then back to the captain. So we're we going then...I haven't been off tatooine before. I've only heard stories of other places.
The captain chuckled with a shake of his head. Well kid, the universe isn't as exciting as those stories you've heard. Dangerous and depressing...especially with the Empire taking over. These are dark times indeed. He looked to the girl. So who's the girl.
Jacen looked down at her. He noticed a hilt strapped onto her belt, he went to touch it when suddenly she grabbed her hilt and ignited it. He backed up and raised his hands. She looked at all of them then Jacen again. Where am I... Jacen slowly moved closer with his hands up.
Deactivate your weapon...your among friends and i think we are in deep space. The Empire invaded Tattooine, we're all survivors here. I'm Jacen Morgenstern. He said. She felt a feeling of relief, slowly lowered the hilt and finally deactivated it. Jacen took note of her weapon, he knew that was a weapon the Jedi use. After it seemed safe with her he looked to the hilt then back to her. You're a Jedi then?
She thought about it. Then nodded. Cale looked to the captain, weird she had to take time and think about it. I am. I'm a Jedi Knight. Katie Helenl...you look familiar.
Jacen seemed excited for a second when he spoke. You know my father then...Dale. He's a jedi as well!
She looked down for a second when suddenly her head begun hurting. She cried in pain, placing her hand upon her forehead and also falling back on the seat. It must of been the heat stroke, she lost a bit of memory. She then remembered Dale Morgenstern. She parted her mouth and looked at him. You're his child ? He was about to ask what was wrong untill she began seeming fine. I've been searching for you Jacen. He was surprised until she spoke again. ...And so is the Empire.

You're the reason why I was driven off Tattooine...hunted down and now wanted by the Empire? The captain quickly drew his blaster and aimed it at Jacen. Immediately Cale aimed his gun at the captain, Jacen looked at him and stepped back. What?! He looked to Katie again. No! He shouted. It isn't true!
She sighed then nodded slightly. It is true. Search your feelings Jacen.
The Captain kept his arms up aimed at Jacen. Maybe if we give him to the Empire they'll stop this madness. Many people died because of you, and only more people will die! THOUSANDS HAVE DIED!!
Suddenly Jacen darted towards the captain, pushing his armed hand aside and tackling him to the ground, the blaster fired off and hit the ceiling. Jacen began choking him with his bare hand and kept the captains wrist against the wall. He applied much more pressure, when slowly and unnoticeable, the force began squeezing his neck as well. Your going to be the next one to die.
She merely starred at Jacen, watching him do this instead of stopping his rage. Cale wasn't sure if he should stop Jacen or let the guy die, either way the man drew a blaster on them. Then slowly, she walked beside Jacen and spoke. Enough...we'll need him to pilot this ship. Think this threw Jacen.
He starred at the man and thought about it, he released his neck, stood up and stepped back. Jacen left the room to find some extra living quarters. She turned around and left the room as well, looking at the two of them. Its the planet Axum you should be heading to...there is no Imperial presence there and the route between here and there should be easy to follow. Katie said before leaving the room.
Everything he's done, and tried to do. Its been threw good intentions. He's never wanted to hurt anybody, the rage he felt back there was like nothing he's ever felt before. He sat up against the wall on a made bed, there was a dim light just above him and a narrow rectangular window just to his right along the wall. She found him there in deep thought, he never looked at her almost as if he was lost in thought. When she sat down at the end of the bed, that was when he looked at her. There's nothing you could of done Jacen. The Empire would never invade an entire planet over one person, if anything they have a hidden agenda. There is still remnants of rebellion as well. You'll have your chance to fight back. I promise you.
He thought of all the people that were dead. Dying and probably tortured for answers. His hand wrapped into a fist as he thought about it, yet he was confused as to what he was angry at, himself? Or Xsivious. Why does he not show himself, has my father grown to be a coward?!
He looked at her, she shook her head. Maybe. There's a universe where he's a coward, hiding on some planet, tired and weary of the fight. Then there's the other one were he is actually out there fighting for freedom. Even though no one can find him...what do you believe.
He starred at her still. I believe what i see...and I haven't seen him in years. He chose the path of a Jedi, he left me on that planet to pursue what he believed in. Now look where his work has left me and this universe. It's all crumbling down.
She felt pity, or maybe she was just feeling bad for him. She moved her hand upon his and starred at him in the eyes. She could feel the force, he is a powerful one with the force. She thought about Morgenstern for a moment and what happened to him, then shook the thought away. Together we can defeat Darth Xsivious and free the galaxy from the Empire...but i wont be able to do it without you. She said then smirked. Then after...the fate of the galaxy will be left to you. I'll do whatever i can, to make that happen Jacen.
Xsivious will get what he deserves. Jacen thought. Surprisingly, Kate moved up along the bed and pressed her lips against his. She then let back and looked at him, without a word she got up and walked out. He merely starred to her as she left the room. A sly smile crossed her mouth as she walked down the hall towards another empty room. It seems the Empire wasn't the only one with a hidden agenda in this universe.
It was hours later when the ship dropped out of hyperspace in orbit of the planet Axum. An industrial city planet, much like Coruscant on a much smaller scale. There were no Jedi Orders, Sith or Empire presence here. Axum stood independent. But even a stand alone planet had its dangers.

AXUM
The planet Axum, an industrial city planet. The typical planet where you would find the wealthy stepping on the poor, living in condo's thousands of stories high. Middle classed and lower class people were basically like slaves, except they got paid low and live in the dirty slums. The center of the city was also actually built on top of an old military stronghold, dated back many thousands of years. More of a tourist location these days. The ship landed amongst the cities center on a landing pad Kate had pointed out on their descent, when the systems were shut down the ramp opened and the group walked out. Welcome to the planet Axum. She said as they followed, Cale knew this place was familiar but he hadn't been here in years. She walked ahead, and once they begun to follow, a swarm of Imperial soldiers came running into the space port landing pad and took aim at the three of them. All of them, except Katie. What is this Katie! Jacen shouted.
She smirked, looking very deceitful revealing. Allow me to introduce myself, I am the apprentice of Darth Xsivious. He will be glad to know you're here Jacen, in fact he's already on his way to see you. My real name is, Kate Alzura.
The captain stepped forward and the soldiers quickly opened fired. Blaster bolts tore threw him and he was dead before he hit the ground. No.. Jacen said in shock.. She was rather surprise by his anger over the captains death. Interesting that he cared even after what the captain had said to him. Then the soldiers aimed at Cale, he stepped back and shook his head. STOP! Jacen said and raised his hand when the volley of baster fire hurled threw the air towards him. The red lasers dissipated right in front of him, but the soldiers kept firing. He couldn't hold any longer so he pushed Cale out of the way when he could not block the fire power any longer. He was hammered with a punch of blaster bolts into his right shoulder, blood splattered back onto the ship as he twisted back and fell to the floor.
He'd already lost to much blood. His vision got really blurry and got worse by the second. He looked over at the Imperial soldiers closing in, then that blue blur appearing out of no where. A lightsaber had ignited and whoever had arrived started to rip threw those soldiers and deflect the blaster fire at the same time. Katie ignited her saber and engaged into a lightsaber duel. It was just the beginning of this duel he witnessed before he passed out and became really cold. All of the sudden he found himself amongst the clouds, and there was a beautiful horizon. He was confused and didn't know where he was, but he was sure this was not the living world. He noticed something appearing when a beautiful women appeared, he stopped and starred at her. This was the first time he'd seen her but for some reason he already knew who this was. Mom.. He said to her then smiled.
She smiled but behind that smile something was not right. Your path is dark...things will become a lot more difficult before it gets easy. I'm always with you Jacen...but now you need to run.
He opened his eyes to the sound of Cale shouting at him. Come on Jacen...we have to run!
Cale grabbed his hand then pulled him up. His vision was still a bit blurry and he was dizzy, he looked ahead at Katie dueling some other Jedi. Whoever it was he just saved their asses. He couldn't see well, but Cale began leading him the opposite way, out of there and into the city. His head looked weary like his face, he nearly fell asleep until Cale shook him. Stay with me man! He shouted. That awoke him some what, he looked up again at the many faces looking his way. Dammit, we're attracting to much attention. Just keep your eyes open.
He said again, it seemed like Cale knew where he was heading. He knew this place seemed familiar because he's been here before. They kept moving threw the streets when everything became dark as he passed out.

A bright light, blinking on and off. Many faces, people walking in and out really fast. Day to night and night to day. This must be what being under feels like, a moment became clear when a girl stood above him just next to his bed, checking his vitals. He became much colder, just as it began to snow. He could see threw the ceiling, feeling rather higher then his bed was. Weird...I just got a sudden core temperature drop. At a very unusual rate..
He could hear her voice but it echoed amongst the room like a dream. Then, he could see Cale. He was talking to the nurse that tended to Jacen, asking her questions, but they left and came all over again. She returned, checked his Vital signs again. You have some unusual readings Jacen... She said. Then he awoke with a smirk as he starred at the ceiling. I am unusual, nurse...I didn't get your name? He said then looked over to where she had been standing but she was there no more. He looked around but the room was empty, he noticed the other beds were empty. He sat up with a struggle then looked at the open door. Hello! He shouted out but his voice merely echoed threw the hall with no response. I'm awake, can anybody hear me!
He slid across and let his feet touch the floor. He got up off the bed and slowly stepped outside and into the hall. He placed his hand along the wall to keep himself from falling as he walked and looked around, he entered the next hall. Was he the only one in this facility or what? He sighed and tried to catch his breath when he stopped just before walking up threw the next hall when suddenly a red tint appeared just around the corner and a sound. ''Vrmmmm''' Almost like a hum. He slowly moved around the corner, taking a peek before he stepped out into the open. Xsivious?! He said, the man wore the Sith lords armor. He turned around to look at Jacen, but no. His father was wearing Xsivious's clothes. Dad! He shouted to him and took a few steps towards his father but he stopped in his tracks to see many dead bodies on the floor. He shook his head. No...you couldn't of done this. No!
He really opened his eyes this time. Took a deep breath, as if he was under water and swam to the surface to get some air. The nurse had been tending to another patient, pulling the blanket over him. She looked over then ran to him. Where am i..?! He shouted when the steel end table rattled just beside his bed. Calm down...your safe.
Cale ran in after hearing the commotion. He looked at Jacen, wide awake. About time you decided to wake up!
He looked over at Cale then back to the Nurse. How long have i been under?
He said, he knew he had been in a coma since everything was confusing right now. Eight days...eight days of very weird vital signs and reactions from you being asleep. I can't imagine what kind of dreams you must be having.
She said, he put his feet on the floor. Feeling the cold floor against his skin. I shouldn't of come here. I've put you all in danger like Tattooine. He's looking for me.
She looked at Cale who had cursed under his breath. She looked back to Jacen. Who, is looking for you.
She said, Jacen looked from Cale who was shaking his head then back to her. Xsivious...The Empire is looking for me.
She looked back at Cale quickly. You brought him here? To a Imperial controlled planet...they still don't know we're right under their noses. I'd like to keep it that way Cale.
Jacen looked at them. I intend to leave...I'm looking for my father. His name is Dale Morgenstern. Have you seen him before?
She nodded. Yes i know your father. He's here on this planet.

Later that day he was up and moving around outside in the city. Nurse Serena Galoss couldn't just let him leave the very moment he awoke. It had only been eight days, people under for a month would be worse then he was. Though eight days is still a long sleep and she was surprised by how fast he regained his strength. She felt responsible for him so she left with him and Cale, Jacen intended on finding his father today. Things have gone to far with the Empire and it was time to make a stop to this. There was a break in last night Jacen. We don't know who it was but they left something instead of taking anything...i think it was him. He left this for you. His Lightsaber Jacen...
She revealed the weapon from her garb and handed it to him. He stopped and grasped the weapon with his hand, feeling the cold hilt and the weight of it. This felt right, he pushed on the ignition button and the Lightsaber ignited out in front of him. He watched it burst out of the handle, when he looked past the weapon and at Darth Xsivious, who smiled when Jacen set his eyes upon him. Oh my god...RUN! Jacen shouted. Cale and Serena stepped back away, then turned to run. Jacen followed them into a building. These skyscrapers had bridges connected from one another and they could easily get around. Kate appeared, running past her master with a quick sprint. The lift opened and a few Axum citizens walked out, the three of them jumped into the lift and closed it just as Katie threw her lightsaber impaling the closed door, it stopped at the base of the hilt. Just in front of Cale's face by inches. He stepped back and hit the lift wall. That was to close....way to close!
As the lift rised, the laser of the lightsaber sliced into the wall until the pressure was to great and the weapon deactivated and fell out of the wall just onto the floor at Katies feet. Meanwhile, Xsivious was taking the parallel skyscraper up. He knew where they were heading, they were already surrounded. The lift opened fifteen hundred floors high, they ran threw the hall and moved towards the mid bridge between this building and the skyscraper next to it. It was used for an emergency exit, so it was merely a flat platform which wouldn't be a good idea to stumble on. They moved out onto it, wide enough for the three of them to walk side by side with more room to each side. They kept walking across when they reached the middle and the doors to the other building opened. Xsivious. He walked outisde, the winds were strong up here. He took a few steps out, they tried to run back but Katie appeared and ignited her weapon. It's all over for you now.
The wind still strong, Jacen outstretched his arm and aimed the blue saber at the Sith lord. He looked around but there was literally no where to go, they huddled back and held onto each other so even the wind wouldn't throw them off but Jacen stood his ground and put both of his hands onto the hilt. Take me. Just take me and leave them!! Don't hurt them.
Xsivious leaned to the right to take a look at the two standing behind him. He laughed a bit then looked at Jacen. He kept his arms up with his fathers blue saber ignited towards the Sith lord. He wouldn't let him touch Serena or Cale. I won't hurt them Jacen. But you will. Everyone you meet will eventually die...its just you. People, tend to die around you.
He was getting into his head, he thought about all those people on Tattooine who died because the Empire was after him. It was happening all over again, more people would die because Xisivious was after Jacen. What do you want with me! He shouted at him. Why can't you just leave me alone. He said to him when Xsivious took a step closer. He had lowered his guard for a second until he raised the saber once again. Get away from us!
Cale stepped beside Jacen and aimed at Xsivious with his blaster then open fired. It was no use, every blaster bolt hit the red saber as he wavered it to each side with ease. He laughed at him but didn't attack Cale after. Katie began force choking Serena, Jacen suddenly screamed, turned around with a swing and threw the lightsaber. Darth Xsivious began walking. Katie was taken by surprise and the lightsaber removed her hand. Xsivious moved faster as Katie screamed. Jacen focused onto his fathers hilt, as it rattled on the ground. He tried harder to focus, he reached out when suddenly the hilt flew threw the air and into his hand. Serena caught her breath when Jacen turned around and ignited the lightsaber, lashing out at Xsivious. The Sith lord blocked his swing, pushing down on Jacen. So much questions on your mind...so little answers. I can answer one question for you though..
Xsivious said. Then he grabbed Jacens wrist, the hand he held the weapon in. I can tell you, you've been lied to all your life!
Jacen didn't know the Jedi arts. But he knew how to use a sword, this just had a lethal laser that could cut threw anything where the steel should be. Though he wasn't a professional in using a sword either, and right now Xsivious was just playing around. He pushed Xsivious back, but the Sith lord also let back and smiled as he took a few steps back. I can tell you, He raised his saber, pointing at Jacen's weapon. That's the Jedi weapon of Dale Morgenstern...but it is not your fathers weapon!!
He starred at Xsivious. Lowering his weapon slowly. What are you talking about!! He shouted at the Sith. Katie was recovering as she held her arm against her chest when she began to lift Serena with the force as she walked out. Then she lifted Cale and moved them out over the ledge. He looked back, then to each side. Serena, and Cale. Dangling fifteen hundred stories high, to fall at a moments notice to their deaths. I've been looking for you Jacen. Many have gotten in my way to keep you from me but I've rid of those who tried to stop me. I know you've been searching for your father.
He looked at Darth Xsivious like he was insane. But he knew for a fact the Sith didn't hunt Jacen down just to tell him what he already knew, there was something else at work here. Something much larger then a question. You've been looking the wrong way. Every step you've ever taken, every question you've asked, has gotten you a step closer to me. You've been looking for your father and I, my son. Jacen shook his head and stepped back. Your lying. He said, Katie was eager to drop them. But not until her master ordered her to.
This is the truth. You are my son! I am the first person in your life that is honest, everyone you've ever known has lied to you. Join me me and I will never lie to you like the imposter Dale Morgenstern was. I'm your father...not that worthless Jedi who abandoned you.
He shook his head again. You will never be my father!!
There was a few second window at hand here. Suddenly, Xsivious nodded to Katie. Jacen noticed a ship racing their way between the buildings. He leaped off the edge towards Serena while Cale fell as well on the opposite side. No Jacen! Xsivious shouted. He tackled Serena in mid air as the ship passed just below them. They hit the ramp and rolled inside, where Cale was slowly recovering from the fall. The ramp closed and Xsivious watched as the ship shot up into the air towards space.

They weren't in the clear yet. Almost there, climbing towards the darkness. Four TIE fighters quickly changed direction, steep in their turn as the pilots pulled up towards the skies leaving smoke trails as the four fighters raced up threw the atmospheres. They came into view amongst the clouds, with the backside of the YT-1210 rolling to the left as the pilot moved out of the way of incoming turret fire, both Cale and Jacen manned the turrets and began firing on the TIE fighters. The ship they were in suddenly arced straight up towards space and they were starring down the skies and distance land of Axum. I feel like I'm going to be sick!!! Shouted Cale. Serena was thrown around on the spot in her seat, strapped in as her legs hung down where the ship was upright. Cale focused on one of them, then open fired. The volley of blaster bolts missed his target but the passing turret fire clipped the side of one of the TIE fighters behind his target sending it to spiral out of control down towards the planet.
His target got closer and fired on their ship just missing Cale's turret port and destroying the communication array. Smoke engulfed his view as the air sent it back and covered Cales window view. He had only few second windows to fire at random times. Jacen however could see, but many of his blaster bolts were avoided. He toke a deep breath and watched the TIE's trailing, he shot to the right where one of the fighters were steering. It was direct hit and the ship was consumed in an explosion, the fire quickly doused itself once they entered the planets orbit. The gravity device automatically activated as it detected the low levels of gravity and Serena could also stand without being thrown across the room or floating in mid air. She unbuckled her belt and got up, her knee severely bruised from hitting the wall just before she had strapped herself in. While the two guys continued now that Cale could see she made her way up towards the front of the ship where the pilot begun the count down for hyperspace. She could hear it back in the engine room, like a high tech machine starting up. She approached the door-less entrance to the front and stopped at the frame, taking a look at the old pilot. You're suppose to be dead..
Serena spoke, the Jedi Master looked over at her and smirked. He looked back to the open orbit of Axum when he was alerted of incoming ships to Axum, he knew this wasn't good. She quickly sat in the co-pilots seat and strapped herself in. They were just minutes away and they would be in the clear. Another down!! Jacen shouted as he looked up threw the ship into Cale's port. This one's getting away! Cale responded and Jacen looked back, he was down under, the volley turret fire just kept missing the TIE fighter as it flew towards empty space. Where is he going..? There's nothing out there for a ship that small !
Cale shouted again down to Jacen. Thirty seconds for the hyperjump. He looked out into open space, Jacen knew there was something wrong. A gut feeling that they weren't out of this just yet. It kept going...and going...and going. I've got a bad feeling about this.
He said. Serena looked to the Jedi Master sitting in the pilots chair, he knew that they didn't have enough time, just like his son knew. Jacen watched the emptiness of space suddenly welcome the presence of eight Star Destroyers blocking their path for a hyper jump. The closest star destroyer open fired with its Ion cannon. It clipped the ship and rocked the ship violently as everyone prayed that they did not explode into a billion pieces. They're gonna kill us! Serena shouted when slowly, Dale powered down the hyperdrive and also deactivated the shields & weapons system. He sighed while he starred at the fleet and shook his head in response to what Serena said. No, death is to easy to Xsivious. That shot was just a warning. They're going to capture us, torture all of us. Then they'll kill the three of us.
She parted her mouth with worry and looked at him wondering if he knew his son was on board. There is four of us Dale...a smuggler named Cale, and your son. He's here...
Dale starred out towards the fleet and nodded once. I know. If we don't get out of this somehow...Darth Xsivious will kill us. Then he will take Jacen as his new apprentice.

Why did it have to be so hard to simply get away from a planet. The orbit of Axum had a lot of activity right now, the YT-1210 was being pulled into one of the Star Destroyers, where they were awaited by Imperial soldiers. There were to many of them to fight, all odds were against them. Already climbed from his turret port Cale grabbed Jacens hand pulling him up out of his port, just next to them the ramp of the YT-1210 set down onto the hanger bay floor. Many assault rifles aimed at them, troopers walked up the ramp and grabbed them. The two were taken into custody and brought up to fleet Admiral Thorin, a broad chested man of average height with a mean look. You've put the Empire threw quite a hustle boy. Darth Xsivious will be pleased to see you again..
Thorin went to place his hand on his shoulder, but Jacen shook back as he starred down the man. Pulling his hand back slightly he studied Jacen's expression, and how cautious he seemed about this current situation. Thorin lowered his hand to his side then chuckled. You have nothing to fear from the Empire. I can see it in your eyes...you desire control. Your a leader, not a team player. You will do well standing next to your father.
Dale Morgenstern appeared at the top of the ramp to his ship. Serena still somewhere inside, he looked at Thorin. The Admiral noticed him standing there and was shocked to see that he was in there as well. I'll always be your father Jacen. I've always been there...somewhere near. Though I am not your biological father, I'm sorry son.
He had a feeling his father was near by, as in the recent moments that had past. He turned around to look at the man, he recalled the lightsaber. Jacen looked down at the hilt and grabbed it, yanked it off his belt, many soldiers raised their rifles but Thorin called them off and waited. He didn't know what Jacen was about to do but there was no way he would survive, attacking the Empire. Thorin approached him then whispered something in his ear. Surprisingly this shocked Jacen, he turned his head slightly to get a glimpse of Thorin. He paused for a second then looked over at Dale. Suddenly, young Morgenstern begun approaching Dale when he ignited the lightsaber.

Many years Ago...
Creating ties between you and another is dangerous James...you're going to put everyone around you in danger. A Jedi spoke to his friend, a young looking Xsivious. Black hair and bright blue eyes of hope, he watched her beside the fountain in the Jedi Courtyard. He could hear his friend speaking to him as he leaned against the wall with his arms resting on the ledge. Don't you hear me?
His friend said once again, James nodded and couldn't help but smirk after he said that. Well what if i don't want to be a Jedi all my life. You know...maybe i want children of my own in the near future. I don't think I'm set out to be a Jedi, there's nothing else i can say about that. But i don't think i can lie anymore...I made my decision a while ago. Jacen you're my best friend. I need you to trust me...no one else will.
Jacen, James best friend sighed. Finally he nodded and patted James on the shoulder. Alright then buddy...if that's what you want to do then i support your decision. Jacen said, he knew James was holding something back. So he crossed his arms and starred at James. And?
James laughed a bit then shrugged. Nothing...give it four more months Jacen. Four months and I'll be living in some beautiful lodge house, maybe Alderaan or the Naboo.
James looked at him, who was puzzled. Four months? You spoke about this about five months ago...why- He paused for a moment. You didn't. James smirked with a nod. Do you know how much trouble you can get in with the council, don't you-
James chuckled. We're naming him after you..
Before Jacen could react, there was a growing shade crawling across the sky. The two of them looked up towards the sky when all of the sudden it begun raining turret fire. An Imperial fleet had arrived.

The memory echoed threw the old mans eyes, just as Xsivious arrived watching Jacen. He approached Dale and raised the lightsaber, he starred at who he thought his father was all his life. He raised his arm more, but Jacen couldn't do it. It's okay son...I'm here. I'm here Jacen.
Xsivious looked at Jacen. He was frustrated and didn't know what to do, as he held the blue glowing lightsaber in the palm of his hand. He looked up at Dale and starred at him, looking at the man he thought to be his father. You're the reason why everything has happened the way it's gone. Right now Xsivious sounds like the good guy here.. Jacen felt angry at Dale. As he fastened his hand tight around the hilt. You chose to be a Jedi over your own family. Didn't you know the consequences? It's why Mom is dead...why your brother is dead. Why we're standing here now. Yet in your journey you failed to stop the Empire...you've only made yourself look like what you sought out to destroy. Now the galaxy sufffers because of you...but that's all over now.
Jacen said when suddenly he held up the lightsaber. Son! Dale shouted when Jacen struck the blade threw him, killing the imposter. Xsivious was pleased, there was no threat here now. He ordered the soldiers off as they left the hanger. Cale would be brought to a holding cell, Jacen was in shock of what he just did. Serena looked down at him from inside the ship. I hope you believe that was the right call..because it can never be undone. If you trust it was the right call then i trust you.
He looked at her with a nod. Then Xsivious approached his son. You did the right thing. There is much you have to know about the events predating your birth...I've been looking for you. For a good while. They tried to keep you from me, keep you from your destiny.
Jacen starred down at the lightsaber until he deactivated it and looked to his real father. This all happened so fast. Why now, why did everything unravel in this moment of my life?
Xsivious put his hand on his shoulder and began walking towards the inner halls of the ship, he looked at Jacen. Dale returned and we captured him. I broke the man that claimed to be your father, i tortured him until he revealed your location on that desolate planet people think its worth having a name. He escaped, but i didn't care. I ordered the fleet to Tattooine to find you before he could hide you again. Exiled by the Jedi Order...hunted by the Empire. He got what he deserved....Jedi scum.
Jacen thought about it then looked to his father. So what happens now.
Xsivious smirked. I train you in the ways of the force.

Ten years later
The galaxy as we know it has been changed. Six years after young Morgenstern joined his father, Xsivious passed away of old age. The Empire rested in his sons hands alone, to honor his father he successfully took control of the entire galaxy after many years of war. During his rise into the throne the Jedi were already gone and the Republic were mere pockets of rebellion from the aftermath of his fathers war. The planets fell under Empire control very quickly and Jacen finally brought peace and justice to the galaxy. This was but the beginning of the Morgenstern legend, love is a danger to a Jedi's path. But the result of Love is also a Danger to a Sith lords reign. After the war, Jacen and Serena had children of their own, one of them powerful in the force. Another simply powerless. The two showed signs opposite of that a Sith. Jacen however did not worry, the Jedi way was gone. The Jedi extinct and the Sith have finally triumphed over the Jedi. That was how they saw it, but to others it was simply Good vs Evil and as long as there were people out there willing to stand up and fight, the war would never be over.
CORUSCANT
Flags of the Empire draped down side of many buildings. Including the Jedi Temple which was now used as an Imperial Military training Academy for those who chose to join the Empire, nobody was forced to join the military. Many seen the Empire as a comfort, no more war. Rich would live in peace but behind closed doors those who could not afford to live were sent into slavery, though still they were given a roof, food and water. The Empire disliked the word Slave, they were more refereed as Underdogs, Or the Columns of the galaxy. People actually preferred the Empire. Before it was all out war and Chaos, this was the illusion the Empire forced upon people. The Victor creates history. The Jedi, now remembered as power hungry scum and terrorists. The Sith, heroes of the Empire. Yes, the galaxy has changed. Perhaps even for the better, but there are those who will remember the last of the Jedi. The Exile who died trying, and the son who betrayed a father and destroyed hope of a better future.
