The Organization's R&D department is the highest funded department in the entire organization. From weapons to medicines to genetic manipulation to new technologies, the Organization develops anything and everything they can to further advance the non-force community in their fight against the force users.
The central focus is finding a cure for the affliction known as force sensitivity and weaponizing it in a non-lethal fashion to use in combat against the force users. However, more drastic measures are being taken to ensure victory

Restoring The Organization's Research and Development divisions was the top priority. Sparing no expense to hire those who passed background, security and criminal checks, the best and the brightest within the galaxy have been brought here to work for the cause. Most of them believe, fervently in the cause. Others just enjoy the near unlimited funding the R&D division receives. Weapons, medicines, genetic manipulations, gene-splicing and unearthing new technologies; all of it takes place here. Anything that can, will or has promise to be used to further advance the non-force community will eventually be created here. While finding a cure for the affliction known as 'force sensitivity' is the central focus here, more drastic measures are currently being employed to ensure victory.

Doctor Adam Shepard, the Lead Geneticist from Genetic-Now was currently working on human modification at The Organization's R&D lab instead of his own back on Onderon since this lab was better equipped for such experiments. He was in the middle of a prototype that would allow one to scan, repair items, hack and program, as well as video, audio and holo communication. Adam however didn't have a willing test subject, to implant it into and sure he could implant it into a lab assistant, but Adam wanted someone who would provide field data so that he could update and upgrade the implant accordingly.

Shimmering to life, a life-sized image of The Illusionist appeared alongside Doctor Shepard. Smartly dressed, right hand in his pants pocket, left hand holding a lit cigarette.
Shepard. How are we doing?
Taking a drag from the cigarette, he exhaled slowly, waiting for a response from the doctor.

Doctor Shepard was in the middle of some calculation when The Illusionist appear alongside him. This had slightly startled the doctor but not enough to be visible by anyone. Then he was asked a question and the doctor took a moment to think about what he should say, did The Illusionist want an overall update on how projects were coming along or was it more a personal question about the doctor himself. After a brief moment of thinking it over the doctor answered without looking up from his workstation.
I'm doing fine, as for the status of the multiple genetic projects that are ongoing. I'm happy to report that things are proceeding as expected. In some cases, we will need reliable subjects to test. If you want to know more of the specifics of a certain project, just let me know.
With that the doctor continued with his work while waiting for The Illusionist to ask questions on a specific project or to simply reply. Either way the doctor would continue to work as it was the most efficient use of his time.

Short, sweet and to the point. He respected Doctor Shepard in that regard. A man of efficiency. Taking another drag from his cigarette, he spoke again.
You will have your test subjects, doctor. Of that I can assure you. What is the status of Project: Krogan?
There were a handful of other projects and programs he wanted to inquire about, but at the moment, Project: Krogan was their most ambitious.

As over a dozen labs were dedicated to @renegadeindustries and their subsidiary, Genetic-Now for genetic research and development purposes, another handful of labs, at least half a dozen, were dedicated to Aegohr Manufacturing Ltd. 's research and development subdivision. Aside from manufacturing dozens of vessels that now filled The Organization's Navy, Aegohr Manufacturing was also used to testbed several innovative designed for Organization operatives and agents. The current prototype that was currently in the field testing stage, was The Organization's Infiltration Suit, aptly named "IS-15" or "Isis" for short. Capable of nearly unheard of levels of stealth, at least in the lab setting, it was currently issues to Operative Aedon Gavin Montrose for field testing. So far, the results were promising, and there was already talks of mass production. Once the assessments with Operative Montrose were finished, the results could be compiled and disseminated for further tweaks and adjustments before going into production.
