Atia vs Slade
GBA RULEZ!
7 - Vaathkree: Domed Shelter
Looking around, this may not have been the most ideal of choices for a vacation spot. Outside of the thin dome of glass you are standing in rests the harsh world of Vaathkree. As long as the dome is intact you don't feel the heavier gravity of the planet, nearly twice that of galactic standard, or the poisonous atmosphere which quickly kills any oxygen breathing life form. However, 30 posts into the match a small meteor, the likes of which are common on this planet, crashes into the dome, destroying it's protective effects.
Thanks!

Her gear was common, for her. Stealth belt with sound dampner, on the right side a holster for the E11 blaster, on the left side the lightsaber hilt for her yellow bladed lightsaber. On the back of the belt she had two smoke granade canisters, this time with white smoke instead of the usual yellow. Also, on the belt there were two vials with white poweder in them. Concentrated lye. She also had a mirror with her, for jokes sake. The yellow twilek woman was garbed in that usual mummy like outfit, snowhite this time, with white gloves, goggles with normal, heat and night vision. Combat boots.
She stood in the middle of the dome, unmoving, unseen, near invisible. The belt was active, and she was waiting for the target to arrive. She could stand in that pose for hours if needed, a day even. She filled the dome with her presence, the enemy would know she was here, just not exactly where.
and it would be too late by the time he knew.

Slade found himself standing in the middle of an open courtyard under the dome, artificial metal plates underneath his feet. He didn't know how he came to a place such as this, but he knew why he was here. A nightsister had to die.
Which meant that a nightsister was going to die.
There were no doubts about it... He had one job, and he would do that job. It wouldn't matter how, it wouldn't matter why. His superiors told him to bring her head, and he didn't fail his missions.
So here he stood, in his usual attire. Armorweave undersuit covered in phrik plating at strategic locations, with a mask that covered the right half of his face and the scarred eye beneath. There was an adjustable eyepiece that was down over his left eye at the moment. He carried his normal weapons, the phrik baton currently in his left hand.
He looked around, his left eye looking through the eyepiece as he tried to find his opponent. He knew the bag of tricks that the nightsisters were known to use... They didn't know how to fight, so they would use illusions and sleight of hand to survive. Slade smirked to himself at the thought. He was prepared to deal with that.
The baton in his left hand moved down, the metallic instrument clacking against the metal plates on the ground. Through his eyepiece, he could actually see the sound waves being produced by the action. He hit the baton to the ground again, watching the waves reverberate through the open area and bounce off the metallic dome.
As he looked around, he didn't see what he had expected. The waves should have created an outline of the figure he was looking for as they bounced off of the object, but what he saw was... Different. There was a void out in the open of the courtyard, and the sonic waves seemed to be swallowed by the void as they passed.
And that was it. That was what he was looking for.
Slade smiled to himself, and spoke out loud, so that his opponent could hear.
I see you.

Or... she wouldnt.
She saw that his mouth moved but no sound actually existed in her head but her own... wixh was a terrible notion in itself. The male was also tapping a baton on the ground, wich was thoroghly ignored by our nightsister heroess. She looked over her oponent, seeking skin. Not much was offered, the damned male was a Kano impersonation. Unlucky for Atia, she had no idea who Kano was so she had no chance to chestise her opponent about it.
She reached behind anyways, to pull out one of the Lye filled vials and start rubbing the white powder on her gloves very slowly. She watched the male, to see what he would do if he was not answered.
She had no idea that her approximate position was allready spotted...

As Slade spoke, the shape that was absorbing sound waves didn't move. Well, it didn't move from where it was. The form was... shifting somehow, which was the result of the nightsister rubbing her hands together. It was faint, but it was there.
Slade turned slowly, facing the void. He twirled the baton in his left hand, as he looked at where he knew the nightsister to be.
Boo.
As Slade reached his left hand back to his side to put his baton back on his belt, his right hand closed around his pistol on his right hip, bringing the KD-30 Dissuader up in a quickdraw as he pulled the trigger four times, the acid-filled slugs ripping through the air at his target.

*Crossdraw was not a good idea. Atia had good time to react. She aimed to grab the gun as soon as it was drawn and turn it towards the thumb, this technique would wrench the gun out of her opponents hand, she hoped. As the Force Disarm came into effect, the stealth and sound dampner fields would fail and she would become fully visible.
She would iniciate a charge towards him as soon as the weapon was discarded, and she would be ready to counter any new weapons, or force attacks. Well, not ANY, but she was ready.*

As Slade's right hand lifted to bring the gun to bear on his target, he saw that she had appeared out of thin air. Before he had time to wonder why, his pistol had shot out of his hand and to his left. He knew how it had happened. He knew it was because he wasn't ready for it.
But she wouldn't be ready for this...
While bringing his left hand forward from putting his staff on his belt, he grabbed his second Dissuader from his left hip and brought it up as quickly as the first had come, this time making sure to keep his grip especially solid. His target had now initiated a charge, which worked to his advantage. Her momentum was shifting from point A to point B, which happen to be directly in line with Slade, so he fired off four more acid-filled shots as she moved directly at him.

The douchyness of combat sometimes derives from its simplicity. If it worked before, hell! Give it a try again! As boring as it may sound, Atia didnt hesitate to go double or nothing and again reached out with the force towards the newly drawn weapon and aimed to both twist the deadly end of it away from her, and to twist it towards Slades thumb. The beauty of this move relied on two things. The fact that one finger is weaker then four, and the Force, witch doesnt need muscles to work. Would she gain the controll of the weapon, she wouldnt throw it away anymore. This one would pulled into her right hand.
In theory at least. Not being an ubermaster at Force Magics, Atia still relied on her own muscles to demonstrate and visualise her telekinetic attacks. This left a small strain on her body and could get her migraines. She already felt one coming.
Her charge continued, she would VERY soon be in melee range.
