Lore Hunter made it's way down to the surface and Nidana spotted the Academy. A shiver went down her spine. She had been around enough dead sith and their artifacts, to have a reasonable idea of what to expect. The landing was smooth and that was a good start. Though she sat in her cockpit pretending to fidget with a console it was really just her getting the nerve up to open the cockpit and face what would no doubt be the most dangerous challenge she had faced yet. With a hiss the canopy opened and she climbed out. Her fair skin felt hot already in the harsh lands, but having just come from Korriban she was not unfamiliar to the sensation. She got down from the SteathX and opened the storage area, collecting the few fragments she had acquired from Korriban, as well as her sword and journal. Then the Echani girl waited for the Master she was told to meet.

The masked figure of Headmaster Alaric made his way out of Academy, down the stone stairs that led to the landing pads. Normally he was above meeting the new arrivals in person, but he had been notified personally to oversee this newcomer. Approaching the StealthX, he observed the young woman, bristling with the Force. Interesting...most interesting. Noticing the sword the young woman had procured from her ship, his interest peaked. Addressing the young woman, the mask he wore altered his voice, making it sound more mechanical and menacing than it actually was.
Greetings, young one. It is my understanding that you wish to join this Academy. What brough you here in the first place, my dear?
Every day more flocked to the Academy. But every day there were many that couldn't hack the lifestyle required to become a Sith. And with the Sith'ari's capture of several force sensitive children, there was plenty of potential here. But another candidate was always useful.

As the imposing Headmaster approached her, she attempted to swallow her fear. This was the first living Sith she had ever encountered and didn't know if she should be ready to fight or run. But his greeting was civil and maybe a little condescending, but if that was the worst of this interaction, she would be elated.
I- I have come here seeking knowledge only your academy and its archives will know. I crave it, I hunger for the knowledge of the Sith and other darkside traditions, all of it.
She had tried to stand to her full height (which still wasn't that impressive) and be as confident as possible. Tough as someone who very rarely interacted with living sentient beings, it was a feeble attempt.

Beneath the mask, Alaric smirked. And then he chuckled loudly as this young woman explained her reasoning for arriving on his doorstep.
If it is knowledge you seek, then you have come to the right place. However this knowledge isn't given freely. You must earn the right to delve into its depths. You must be ruthless in your quest to expand your knowledge. If you were to be accepted here, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to claim the knowledge you seek. There are dozens of other students that seek the same as you. They will be cutthroat in their ambitions to claim any and all knowledge.
Alaric had taken to pacing back and forth, still eyeing up the young woman before him as he spoke.
I sense your ambitions, but you seem to lack the resolve to do whatever it takes to reach your goals. Self doubt and hesitation will only serve to drown you beneath the others here. If you truly seek the knowledge of the Sith and the dark side, I will reserve my judgement until after you've met with our King of Darkness, the mighty Sith'ari. He will be the one to ultimately judge you. Come, let's get you settled in the guest quarters after we tour the Academy...
Alaric motioned for the young woman to follow him. This woman had potential, there was no mistaking that. But it was undisciplined. The hunger for more knowledge without the training to resist what could possibly come from delving into such dark depths was present, more so with this woman. Regardless of what she had done in the past, the secrets here could literally kill her. And it wouldn't serve anyone to have her go and get herself killed before she truly learned all there was to learn. Mind you, she'd have to survive an encounter with the Sith'ari first. Alaric doubted she could survive it, but he had a feeling that she might just surprise all of them...

She shuddered at the thought of being brought face to face with this "King of Darkness." But she was in too deep to try and run now. This was no den of Tuk'ata she had fallen into and could run from. This was worse. As she followed Headmaster in silence, she continued to take in her surroundings and also was preparing herself to unleash a torrent of the Force if she were to be suddenly set upon. Nidana walked on, a couple spaces behind Alaric. Fear was obviously the emotion she primarily drew her strength in the darkside from and continuing down this path would eventually lead her to hate and if the Jedi were to be believed, suffering. Though if the sith and darkside texts and artifacts she had found where to be trusted, she would find great power. Which did she believe, not even she knew that... Yet.

Gavin ship made his way to the landing pads of the academy. As he approached, he let his gaze fall over the structure. It was impressive enough, but truth be told, he didn't care one way or another about how the academy looked, or even what was present within, for that matter. In a way, he lied to Viox about being impressed. Sure, he was capable of being left in such a state, but it didn't really matter to him. He had spent so many of his wandering years simply doing just that. He traversed the terrains of many planets: Hoth, Mustafar, Dagobah, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine, with nothing more than the clothes on his back and the lightsabers he carried. He had learned to make the most of his time and training with nothing. While there were things he could use to enhance that training better in an academy setting, he was more than capable of using the bare minimum. And he couldn't lie to himself, he hoped to show it.
Finally descending to a landing spot, he began powering down the systems before departing. As he stepped of his ship, the wind blew through his sandy blonde hair and grey trench coat. Taking a breath, he made his way towards the entrance. He wondered what he'd encounter. Guards at the door, not letting him pass? It made him wonder if Viox had sent word ahead of his arrival. Only time would tell, but one thing he did catch from the Sith'ari's words was that he didn't have to seek the headmaster out until after he looked around. But unless specified otherwise, no doubt the headmaster would seek him out, curious about him in one form or another.

Gavin returned to his ship, not yet having accommodations within the academy. No point in setting up a room for him if he wasn't going to be sticking around, after all. This was his trial run. He would see if he could truly teach as he felt he could and for the headmaster and Sith'ari would see if he could deliver on his claims of enhancing the abilities of those within. It wasn't a matter of if he could. Confident his knowledge would do well in producing warriors that would be feared by anyone else, it was if he could convey that knowledge properly to the students and if they would bother taking anything he taught them to heart. Perhaps starting with the considered younglings would prove valuable. If he could help them develop better, then furthering the skills of the more experienced wouldn't be an issue. In the end, that might have been exactly what the headmaster thought.
Upon entering, he made his way directly to his makeshift meditation chamber and closed the door behind him. Lifting a hand, the candles came to life, casting the room in a soft, relaxing glow. Pyrokenesis wasn't one of his best abilities, doing nothing more than lighting candles. But with his array of abilities and preferences, it didn't concern him to learn on it further. Removing his trench coat, he set it and all his weapons aside. There was much to do and very little time to do it. First, he'd spend his time in meditation, focusing his mind and sorting out how to teach what he knew to the class he'd first lead. It seemed like such an obvious answer, knowing that their combat abilities was the best he could translate. From there, he could help them find focus, but it might not have been wise for him to do so. These were Sith and he wouldn't interfere with their methods and approach to understanding the Force. That was, however, concerning the starters. If he tried developing their minds before grasping the mindset of a Sith, he could deter them from following that path, rendering him a hindrance. The older students, however, were another matter entirely. He could help expand their knowledge and not look at how to focus on the Force but to connect with everything around them, especially the darkness. Still, that part of his training would be reserved for select students until a time he felt it perfectly well for all to receive. He couldn't afford to destroy the minds of the students.
He then began to think on the questions he had hoped to ask of the headmaster that he hadn't gotten the chance to with his sudden dismissal. Most it revolved around the technologies they had access to involving the training rooms. Depending on what was available, he might have made requests for some simple items. Also, what did they consider younglings here? Something told him that it wasn't necessarily children so much as new minds needing to be shaped, the ages varying.
He stayed like this, letting the day pass on. When night fell, he'd move again, taking the time for a little exercise and training while everyone else slept.

<:Once again, as Gavin meditated, he descended into his innermost world. The blackness of his mind took shape into the mangrove swamp as he looked around. Already standing there was both Coretha and Vannihr. It was here that they could commune, and they had called to him.
"This is quite the curious gathering. Quite bit of power, especially from that Sith'ari of theirs. Should prove interesting."
Coretha shook her head and Vannihr's words, appearing more concerned for the situation hen he did. "The real question if you think this is wise, Gavin? You seem rather casual about the headmaster's warning. We all know of the power that resonates from Viox, just as much as we know that's not the full depth of it."
Gavin looked between them before shaking his head with a slight scoff. "Really? That's the question you're asking me? What happened to knowing what I think and feel? You both are part of me, are me." He shook his head, the scoff turning to a light laugh. "One person split into three minds. It's still strange thinking about. All from the same core, yet out mindsets are different. Explains why we are as we are. But you know what we have faced, know my state of mind. Yes, Viox is quite powerful, but it doesn't bother me, scare me, or intimidate me. I have no play to just cause problems, but should it come down to a fight, I won't run away and he'll find just how powerful and capable I am. But yes, I do intend to be cautious, even if I don't appear to be."
Coretha's gaze focused hard on Gavin for a moment as Vannihr laughed. He did enjoy seeing Coretha being talked back to. She looked to the demon before fixing her eyes back to Gavin. "Very well. And if we reach that point, we'll be ready." With a nod, they disappeared from sight and his mind went black again.:>
Opening his eyes, he returned to reality. It had been hours since his meting and darkness had fallen. Standing to his feet, to extinguished the flames and picked up his weapons and trench coat. He moved a room over to his cabin. His weapons were placed into a bag as he set his trench coat and vest on the bed. Opting to use a light long sleeve shirt, he grabbed his bag and headed out of the ship and back into the academy.

Moving through the halls, Gavin walked in nearly an auto-pilot daze. His attention was clearly not focused on where he was walking eve though he made it seemed like it didn't matter. His mind was wandering, curious as to the path before him. Given his meditations and exercises, he had allowed his mind to settle and think upon what was to come and his teachings. It had been so long since he had taught and instructed others, be it a single apprentice or a class. Still, he was only slightly anxious about it.
Upon reaching his ship, he gathered enough of his focus to board, setting his bag of weapons down in the lounge before heading to his room to grab a pair of light pants, then on to the refresher to clean up. He let the hot water work out his muscles as he worked to settle his mind fully. Nearly thirty minutes went by before he felt calm and relaxed enough to pass into his sleep. He wasted no time in drying off and dressing. Making his way to his bed, he laid down and was soon asleep.

Everything hurt. He'd been harsh (that seemed to be a running theme with her Master), pushing her until she couldn't get up, and pushed her further still. She focused on her breathing, on feeling every ache, every pang. It calmed her some, and she was learning just as much from her bruises as she had from the practice duel itself. Her eyes opened slowly, her head tilting some as her Master began to speak. As he he continued, she looked over to him, giving him her undivided attention.
Part of her still raged at the unfairness of it, but at the same time, she'd been out of line. Apparently slamming her head against the table hadn't been enough of a punishment, and she'd ache for a good long while. Still, there was a sense of satisfaction there, buried deep down that allowed her to keep moving.
Being able to learn about her own people... There was a sense of giddiness that rose up, of excitement she always tried to keep buried back at the Temple. Nel had always wanted to learn more about her people, and there was only so much one could learn from a tome in a library. "It's... odd. I'm excited, yes, but at the same time... it's hard to be thoroughly excited when I'm so tired." Nel had been pushing herself and not allowed herself rest. There was too much to do, and right now, it felt like she was wading through cotton, though the eagerness fought strongly against it, trying to take over. Still, a small smile flitted over her lips. "Though I can't wait to learn all I can firsthand." Stormro genuinely smiled at Nel's excitement, a rarity that she would likely miss completely given how much Stormro masked and controlled his emotions usually. It pleased him to see her so enthused and once again left him amused regarding the growing similarities that he saw between himself so many years ago and the woman who he had taken under his wing. Given how...particular he was regarding who we was willing to train as an apprentice Stormro was beginning to understand why even he had been able to sense the significance of the shatterpoint when they had met on Tatooine over a year ago. "I am surprised that you did not rest while we were in Hyperspace. I may push you to your limits but I have no interest in breaking you and it is crucial that you learn how to rest in what moments you can find. It is good that you are eager to learn though; Zabrak have quite the warrior heritage, as well as a long history amongst the Sith Order. I suspect that you shall very much enjoy our time here..." The ship began to move as Stormro received clearance from the relevant authorities, gliding down from orbit and making its way towards the Academy below. Gliding through the atmosphere from orbit, the Wraith sat down on one of the landing pads with minimal jarring and began powering down as Stormro rose from where he and his apprentice were kneeling in the sleek, gleaming craft's meditation chamber. The landing had been less than ideal, even when factoring in his remote piloting, and Stormro made a mental note to spend more time flying himself rather than having Belbe pilot all of the time. He had inadvertently allowed his piloting skills to atrophy, and he had no intentions of allowing such a mistake to remain uncorrected. Leading Nel through the ship, the landing ramp lowered as they approached to reveal the landing pads and the Entrance Courtyard on the other side of the area which led to the academy proper. "Welcome to the academy of Iridonia; this facility was established by the Brotherhood of Darkness just over a thousand years before the fall of the Old Republic and was used to train many of the Sith warriors who fought in the New Sith Wars. I am pleased to see that it was not leveled by the Jedi Order's short-sighted aggression as some of the temples on Korriban were; there is much history to be found here..."

The woman's cheeks flushed a little bit at the mild observation about her lack of resting and she looked at her lap, her fingers clenching on the material of her clothes. "I... I did try to rest, Master. Sleep did not want to keep me however."
She looked over to him, continuing to listen to him speak, her embarrassment ebbing away. It wasn't something she could really help, her nightmares, but she hoped in time they would go away. She'd had them a lot when she was first put on Kashyyk, but as time went on, they'd lessened into dreamless sleeps with only occasional interruptions. Then again, they were usually only dreamless when she pushed herself to her limits and then let herself collapse. Then again, if he'd been keeping an eye on her over the past year, as she suspected he had, then he probably knew that already.
Nel watched him stand and followed suit, steeling herself to not let her exhaustion show. She'd rest later. Right now, she was distracted by the idea of so much knowledge laid in front of her. She smiled at the idea. "I can't wait to learn it, Master."

Knowing of the new arrivals, Headmaster Alaric proceeded to make his way out to the Landing Pads. Beneath the mask he wore, he grinned as he spotted Stormro and his apprentice, a Zabrak youth. Approaching them, he bowed slightly.
Greetings, and welcome to the Sith Academy of Iridonia. I am Alaric Von Dredd, Headmaster of this Academy. Perhaps there is something I can help you with?
Alaric's words, although seemingly kind, were merely a nicety. He was far from the type to be kind for no apparent reason other than to instill a false sense of hope and compassion within his students. Being helpful was one thing. Being kind was another matter entirely.

"In time you will learn to master your body as well as your emotions; until then, we shall have to find other ways of inducing rest..." Stormro smiled slightly as the headmaster approached, shifting his attention to the man and bowing slightly lower before straightening and responding. "Thank you for taking the time to meet us Headmaster. My apprentice and I have come to Iridonia so that she might reclaim the heritage which was stolen from her by the Jedi Order. She knows little, if anything, of her people's history and is excited to learn what was denied to her. Thus, I brought her to Iridonia and was pleased to discover that the academy has remained active and productive in spite of the blind fear and hatred of the Jedi Order in recent years." Stormro's behaviors and mannerisms had shifted as the headmaster approached at a distance, the mask of the cordial diplomat effortlessly replacing the cold, analytical Sith Lord with such ease that it may well have seemed to Nel as if he had become another person. It was a mask intended to disarm those with whom he interacted while simultaneously ingratiating him to the very people who he was attempting to disarm.

Nel followed her Master's example, clutching her hands in front of her and bowing as well before she straightened, staying just a step behind and slightly to the side of her Master. "An honor to meet you. I look forward to learning as much as I can while we're here."
Her voice was genuine, a gleam of eagerness in her eyes and a slight smile on her face. She glanced to Stormro, hoping she'd not overstepped her bounds, or to confirm she'd at least done something right. Her hands tucked behind her back as she stood straight, looking more to her teacher now to see what they were to do next. It was marveling seeing the difference in his personas the man put out, and it was unsettling how quickly and easily he settled into his new role for the situation.

The masked Headmaster listened intently. Beneath the mask, he grinned. It was always inspiring to see those eager to learn, arriving at the Academy. And this apprentice was clearly eager.
Indeed. We do not deny such things here. And we encourage and nurture such hatreds. But the Jedi are merely one of a dozen enemies we face. You must be prepared to fight against anyone, even those you once called allies. It is inevitable. Even though the Sith'ari has united us under a single cause, there are many who do not...appreciate his way of thinking. In time, however, we hope to break the shackles of the archaic ways of thinking and present a better, more unified Sith front to the galaxy as a whole...
Observing the pair, Alaric motioned to the Academy itself.
You arrival is most fortuitous. The newest batch of younglings have begun their training. According to the Sith'ari, you have been granted access to these facilities. Feel free to look around and see how things are progressing. The Archives, are in the west-most temple. I will be in my office, overseeing a few matters. Come find me, should you have any more questions. If you wish to indulge in the more physical aspects of our training regiments, Blademaster Clarell is in the training facilities. And our most recent instructor, Mr. Phoenix, is currently teaching an eager young group in the basics...I will leave you to your wanderings. But be mindful of our guards. And I would advise you avoid any areas that are restricted. Until the Sith'ari meets with you, at any rate.
Inclining his head respectfully, the masked Headmaster turns on his heel and walks off, cloak billowing out behind him as he walked, leaving Stormro and his apprentice to decide where they would like to go first. Given the importance of the Sith'ari, they had time to explore before he arrived.

Stormro returned the Headmaster's respectful nod with a slightly lower nod of his own before the man turned and made his way back into the academy. Once the man had left their presence the Diplomat vanished, allowing Stormro's typically cold, controlled expression to return to his face as he glanced at his apprentice. "Where would you like to investigate first Apprentice? It would seem that we have been given a fair amount of freedom in how we spend our time here..." Personally, Stormro was more interested in the archives than anything else that had been mentioned, although his curiosity had been piqued by the mention of a "Mr. Phoenix". Many years ago, before he had embraced his home in the shadows, the Lord of Deception had known a Falcor Phoenix who had been a courageous leader and honorable warrior. The man had forged a home for those who would not bow to the demands of the Jedi or the Sith, and Stormro had once even called the man brother before differences of belief had driven a wedge between the two Force users. It was unlikely that this "Mr. Phoenix" was in fact the man he had known years ago, but none the less a part of Stormro found it difficult to resist the siren's song of curiosity.
Beginning to walk towards the academy proper, Stormro did not bother checking to see if Nel would follow behind him, confident that she would remain at his side as he continued. "It would seem that the Sith'ari themself is aware of our presence on Iridonia and has expressed interest in meeting us. I must admit that I am similarly interested in meeting this lord of the Sith, especially as it would seem that they have resurrected the Blackguard..." He paused in his speech, glancing back at the young Zabrak before speaking again. "Tell me; what do you know of the Blackguard Apprentice?" Stormro did not expect Nel to know of the secretive, reclusive faction, especially since the Jedi had been all but unaware of its existence, but she had suprised him before and either way her answer would prove to be a suitable segue into a deeper discussion of the faction.

Escorted by starfighters from the atmosphere to the landing pads, the the Void made its smooth landing. After but a moment for its pilot to gather herself and make her way to the ramp, the meld of mechanical whirling and air pressure hissing heralded her exit. Judging by the security scan in orbit and the escort all the way to the pads, she was sure she would intercepted here, so without attempting to make any moves too far from her ship, Mariah simply raised her cloak’s hood and waited. This planet may have been worse even than the humid planet of Felucia, she thought, but still, she chose a few unbearable moments of this harsh heat to keep herself masked in the shadows for the one she would meet.

Mariah's assumptions became true when a doorway opened at the entry way to the landing pad. Two Sith Warriors were seen escorting a third individual who stood between them. His face was in full view of the female; a red-skinned Sith, a Pureblood, or so Malvus claimed his lineage was. The Sith's cloak billowed slightly as a breeze moved in, his stride not stopping as he approaches the ship. His eyes looking at the freighter before turning slightly in the direction of where he sensed someone lurking. The crystal, where his heart once was, pulsed slightly, allowing him to detect the one who had come to visit this world.
I have sensed you before... despite the heat of battle and the raging storm that surrounded me.
The male speaks as he stands just some feet away from the freighter's entrance.
Seems you at least a good hunter or tracker if you were to able to follow us back to here.

Mariah welcomed the breeze that brushed past, offering a bit of a reprieve from the intense climate. Of course, every planet she intended to do lingering business upon had this coincidence of being cursed with such inhabitable conditions, but nonetheless, she remained still and unwavering, unlike her black cloak that now billowed around her ankles. The woman tilted her head upwards slightly, so that from behind the hood’s shadows, a pair of crimson eyes peered back at the so-appearing Pureblood Sith, and her pale skin and smaller stature marked her as at least humanoid. However, the look within those red eyes narrowed at Malvus’ words. ‘I have sensed you before…’ Her presence stirred within the Force, the darkness laced within her Signature pulsing in a discontent display to her prior exertion upon Felucia. However, like a final heartbeat before meeting Chaos, the calmer dark waters of her spirit to returned.
“When I want something... I have my ways” the woman murmured in answer, seemingly handpicking her words with careful precision before she spoke."What was accomplished at the Felucian Jedi Base was something I had dreamed of doing for decades. I would’ve stopped at nothing until I found you.”
She nodded towards the two Sith Warriors in a silent greeting as she took a step away from her ship, her feet taking that last and final step from the ramp and onto the landing pad. A step closer towards Malvus -- and to the Academy. Her gaze may have flickered to acknowledge the other two, her focus quickly returned to the centered individual while she awaited either his welcome or dismissal. Sensing he was a powerful one, she thus kept a lingering sense about his presence as well, seeking any fluctuation about him that her eyes might otherwise betray. While she didn't seek trouble here, it always seemed to follow her, as loyal as her own shadow. Until she had an inkling of an idea as to how this one felt about her sudden and unexpected arrival, both his presence and those of his Sith Warriors remained priority number one.

Malvus listens to the visitor and keeps his eyes trained upon her. There was a hint of curiosity within her, it was unknown rather it was towards himself, the Academy behind him, or perhaps both. She had seen the action on Felucia, she had witnessed the dark forces of the Blackguard Reborn surge against the Jedi defenders and their soldiers. In the end, they left the Jedi Base in ruins. Countless bodies littered the wet and blood-soaked ground as the storm cleared overhead. Malvus had left his mark upon the ruins, a pair of smoldering holes within the building's sides as he coursed live lightning into it in order to force more openings and allow more of their troops to surge in. Upon his return to Mustafar, Malvus wrote the exploits of this achievement as a Return of the Dark Side.
His attention returned to reality though as Mariah took a step closer, in the direction of Malvus and the Academy. His Sith Warriors remained where they were, unflinching and as still as stone. Their masked faces trained, though, upon the visitor as their master's eyes were. The Sith Lord spoke moments later after she stepped.
Felucia was merely the height of achievements performed by those under the dark banner and command of our Sith'ari. A man who is a true visionary and thoroughly understands the necessary revolution that we have done in order to renew our strength. To ensure that we endure where others have failed.
