The location of the medical centre, with top-line experts in the field of medical and surgical study. Any injuries, knockouts (from duels), and ailments are treated here. There are large bacta tanks, and many different medical instruments, with professional staff operating them. There are also small bacta tanks installed on the walls outside for quick-use, as well as small bottles of kolto and other healing liquids like polybiotic.

Angel walked past the MedBay, stopping to notice with curiosity a massive Zabrak adolescent, with sparks of blue energy still radiating out of him. Medical droids, 2-1B and FX-7 standard, operated on restoring his short-circuited nervous system.
Mmm. Probably the work of Romulus.
Angel approached the head medical overseer, gesturing to the unconscious boy and inquired:
So what happened here?
The overseer replied,
Picked a fight with one of the teachers, whom he mistook for a student.
That's Romulus., he thought.
What does he look like?
He had this crescent thing over his left eye, that goes down through it. According to students, he had a lot of strange markings on his left arm. "It looked like some organic metal", they said.
Definitely Romulus.
Thank you. That will be all.
As the medical overseer turned away to return to his work, Angel walked out of the MedBay to the dorms, where he sensed Romulus' presence.

Romulus walked into the Medbay, with Serina closely behind him. The medical officer in charged gasped and rushed over when he saw Romulus' left hand.
My Lord! Your hand-
Direct me to a Bacta Tank, please. And make it quick.
The officer lead Romulus and Serina through another door, revealing a row of huge Bacta Tanks. Romulus slipped out of his robe as the medical ic prepped one of them up. Romulus handed his affects to Serina, rose into the air with the Force, and dropped into one of the tanks. The stinging of his hand quickly disappeared as the bacta worked its way on his charred hand. Romulus used the Force to have a breathing apparatus and a few cables attach themselves onto him, before closing his eyes to enter a healing trance, to lessen the duration for his hand to heal completely.

Romulus' eyes flashed opened. He looked down at his hand to see it has fully recovered. He swims upwards and takes a breath of air as he breaks the surface. He telekinetically removes his breathing apparatus and the various cables from his body, and swings himself down onto solid ground, as Serina comes over with a towel.
Soon, Romulus was dried, clothed, and his body totally without any burns or scars. Romulus thanked the medical officer, and left the Medbay with Serina, heading for the Landing Pad.

Coruscus and Requiem walked along the medical equipment, just outside the hospital facilities before sensing a spike in the Force, which came in a telepathic message from Tempest, with considerable stress in his mental voice.
Meet me at the Landing Pads. Urgently.
Turning the opposite direction, they heeded the call and took the turbolift straight up.

Iridonia. Sith Academy. Medbay Level.
Major Kelborn led his team through the halls of the Academy, putting down those who resisted and cuffing those who surrendered. Those who surrendered would be picked up and escorted out to the holding area in the main courtyard. The team had finally reached the level where the security substation was located. After a brief but intense firefight, the substation was under their control. Kelborn tried to contact Locklear, but couldn't reach him. Instead he tried Admiral Bennette.
Admiral. Major Kelborn. We've located and secured our objective. I am unable to make contact with the Colonel.
Bennette's voice rang through.
Understood. The Colonel and his team encountered heavy resistance near the landing pads. I suggest you establish a presence at your current location and then make yourselves known to the resistance there.
Still holding the side of his helmet, Kelborn nodded.
Affirmative. We're on our way.
Kelborn killed the link with the Admiral, then issued ordered to his team.
Link, Tanis, you remain here. Keep this location secured. The rest of you, let's move out. Let's got pull our Colonel out of the fire.
As he turned on his heel and began to jog towards the lift, he grinned beneath his helmet. He had been expecting heavier resistance than this. Perhaps now he'd get his wish.

Vasari's mind was carried by the fever dreams of the third current. Without the control of mind to see what was real and what was an illusion of the Force the visions that she obtained from her presence there was tainted at best, and even her subconscious mind knew this as she dreamed during her slumber. Her dreamstate's self could not tell for how long she had been dreaming - who ever could if the dream was powerful enough - but the lucidity of the dream gave weight to the opinion that this was not a natural slumber. The first trick to rouse yourself is always to attempt to remember what one was doing before the dream began, but that did not work for Vasari - the realization came to her that she had been sick near to death and vomiting against the stone floor of the Academies dungeons, but that did not help her rouse from this collage of dreams passing before her minds eye.
When she was quite certain that she could not rouse herself by this method she relented and looked back into the dreams that the force was showing her. Visions that she knew she had no way of controlling. Things that are, things that were, and some things that had not yet come to pass... the dreams showed many things. Vasari had learned early on that the dreams of a Sorceress were dangerous things, the subconscious mind (always believing itself the more superior of the two) always sought to gain power of the consciousness, to bend it to its delusions of grandeur, and so it was now. Vasari looked upon her dreams and saw herself standing high above a burning crater of a compound that was obviously belonging to one military force or another - the devastation even on the desolate world that she did not recognize was great. Only a powerful explosion could have caused this amount of damage, or a ship from orbit perhaps. These truths would have come to her conscious mind, but the subconscious saw this as a manifestation of her future power - a great victory will be achieved, her victory.
The dream was quickly pulled from her when her logical mind reached the conclusion that her subconscious desired, even admitting the possibility of the subconscious' perception of the truth was a victory and so her mind passed into the next dream. The faded images of entangled limbs, passionate kisses, and promises of love and companionship. The images were not clear, but she could tell that she was one of them - that color scheme was never easy for the subconscious mind to disguise. It was always difficult to hide herself from her own dreams, however the more Vasari attempted to see the face or even clear body of the being she was with just distorted the true image even more... it was clear she was not meant to know who this being was, and just like that the dream passed. She expected another dream but when she opened her eyes to it she found that she could barely see at all, a light above her, two figures on either side looking down, she leaned towards one, the one that was speaking but found her body too weak to respond to even the simplest command, and so she listened...
"I found her in the Dungeon's below the rotunda... I did not even know there were Dungeons down there!?"
"You must speak of this to no one, do you understand me Acolyte?"
"Yes Sorceress, I understand. I swear I will hold my tongue or lose it."
Vasari's mind grew wearing the more she strained to hear..."Might I stay and look over her?"And that was the last she heard before her subconscious mind slipped below the surface of the real world back into the dreamlike state. The transition was so smooth Vasari's lingering mind could barely believe that she had truly even woken - the exhaustion of her body was to great and so back into the third current she sank to relive more and more fever dreams and delusions of grandeur - promises of power that her subconscious wished to grant her, if only it could make them true... but for a moment in the young Zabrak's mind, then perhaps one day they might come to be. But for now Vasari would recover from her Trials in the Medical Wing of the Academy, under the watchful eye of the First Sorceress, and her unlikely savior.

Vasari's eyes opened after what felt like a week in the medbay, her entire body felt like she had been put through the ringer, and her head pounded like the morning after a night spend inside of a bottle. The room seemed brighter than the rising suns over the desert after the few nights spent in darkness - the darkness within her mind - the darkness the force had fabricated for her within the dungeons below the Academy. She blinked trying to adjust her vision, there was a shadow beside her and as she attempted to focus upon it she wished she hadn't, and then the voice came which caused her to cringe even more.
"Morning Vassi... about time you came around, We were beginning to worry about you."
Vasari rolled her eyes attempting to tune him out, the tagalong that had been annoying her ever since the invasion had ended. She hadn't even given him the time of day, not spared a second glance or a single kind word and yet he persisted with that annoying resilience that only a smitten man could. She attempted to shift in the bed she had been laid in wanting to pull herself upright to get a better baring on her surroundings - then she felt the hand upon her shoulder pushing her back. Before she could snap at the boy for daring to touch her the voice of the High Sorceress spoke from her other side.
"Don't move child, you've endured a great Trauma, the Malacia used upon you was quite powerful... I had to spend many hours over your body to reorder its processes, you need rest."
Vasari blinked looking over at the High Sorceress who might have said that many words to her over the course of her entire stay at the Academy. Regardless of her words Vasari once again attempted to sit up - she had been abed long enough! This time it was the boys hand that came to her shoulder...
"Vassi didn't you hear her, she said-..."
Vasari's hand shot up to grip the one upon her shoulder - applying a fierce grip to his thumb and forehand she twisted his arm at the wrist and with a mild force push sent him off balance while twisting his arm. The result was a wicked twisting crunch followed by the boy losing his feet and stumbling backwards - then Vasari continued to lean forward finally raising to seat herself upright throwing daggers at the boy who had just now regained his balanced and had a rather hurt look on his face. The High Sorceress merely chuckled and set a hand lightly on Vasari's shoulder closing her eyes for a moment.Vasari felt a strange current around her and she moved with it, her mind slipping back into the first current of the force to notice the High Sorceress probing her body for any further misbalance, Vasari began to do the same, following her same current as it flowed through her body. The pounding in her head increased but she merely bit her lip and continued to focus. Something felt out of place around the base of her neck, the blood flow was not right, it was being restricted by what seemed like nothing. Vasari focused for a moment and willed the blood to flow correctly - almost immediately she felt her headache dissipate and her mind began to clear, after that she noticed several more inconsistencies in the way her body was functioning... she had never considered using the first current in this regard before, it was fascinating the level of control she found over her own body and wondered for a moment... Upon reaching out the High Sorceress' body she met with a strong resistance but felt the same flow of the force surrounding her internal workings as she felt with her own, was this Malacia?
<<Yes child, Feeling the way the blood flows and the body works - understanding its workings and what is right... allows you to not only correct your own bodies weaknesses and illnesses, but also allows you to disrupt the flow of the bodies of those around you...>>
Vasari's consciousness felt a shove and she was quickly cast out of the first current around the High Sorceress' body and opened her eyes with a shiver - she felt cold - then felt the Sorceress remove her hand from her shoulder and raised a questioning eyebrow at the older Sith. The High Sorceress was simply looking at her quizzically - as if attempting to determine something, Vasari in the meantime had slipped back into the first current of her own body and noticed the lingering presence of the Sorceress - her eyebrows knitted together and she attempted to dispel the presence of the sorceress' mind over her own body. She met with a formidable resistance and she knew that she was not capable of overpowering the presence and so she lifted herself from the first current overseeing it as she had done before in the bowels of the academy and she felt her mind and body pull away from the Force and thus felt the presence of the Sith fall away into nothing. The High Sorceress seemed confused for a moment - the young Zabrak had evaded her probing mind and now even though she was looking right at her could not see her within the force, could not feel her presence. The smirk that played across the acolytes lips did little to help her mood and she scoffed turning away from the Zabrak upon the table.
"You are fine child... you are free to go..."
With these parting words Vasari watched as the Sorceress left the room, clearly irritated. She turned her gaze back to the room and only then noticed that the boy was still here - his eyes wide as he looked upon her now. Vasari recreated a similar scoff to the one the High Sorceress had used upon her before turning her head from the boy and slipping off the bed onto her feet. She seemed more sure of herself now but she could tell she was still not one hundred percent, she felt the need for more rest, but not here...
"Vassi... What happened to you down there... I saw-"
"WHAT DID YOU SEE?"
Vasari turned upon the boy with a savage growl, her teeth baring in the process which caused the boy to stumble backwards, obviously taken quite by surprise at her reaction."I followed you in...into the dungeons... You were talking to someone, but I couldn't see or hear anyone... what Trials are you undertaking?"Vasari took a slow step towards the boy - an action which caused him to step back and move his hand to his side. Vasari's eyes moved and only then did she realize the look of pure rage she must have had on her face to have caused the boy to reach for a weapon. Vasari closed her eyes and leaned against the bed. Something clearly had to be done about this boy, but not here... she wasn't ready for a fight. Focusing her mind she exhaled and whispered in a tired voice."I am tired... I need to go back to my room, but I am not sure i'll make it alone..."Vasari leaned heavily upon the bed to emphasize her point and looked back out of the corner of her eye towards the boy, gauging his reactions. Surely enough he was quick to relax himself at the sudden change in Vasari's mood."The High Sorceress told you you need rest... I'll take you back to your Dorm and you can sleep more."He seemed nervous as he stepped closer towards Vasari - clearly he wasn't completely useless as he was wary of trusting her even now. Vasari however, seemed to relent and leaned upon him when he came to her side to offer her his arm - and together they slowly walked out of the Medical wing back towards the Dormitories. Vasari didn't need rest... she needed to assure this boys silence, and there was only one way she knew of to accomplish that.

Nidana arrived in the medbay, being personally escorted by Savage. A strange site to be sure, a nobody being lead to the medbay by not just a Sith Lord, but the Sith'ari! The obsurdity was not lost on the young woman who was helped onto an examination table by a medical droid. She accepted the help graciously. Finding herself thanking a glorified service droid made her realize she was likely going to have a hard time fitting in with the Sith. But so long as Savage was nearby she felt safe, almost like she was home.

As the medical droid did all of the preliminary work, the Zabrak medic walked in, apparently startled by the sight of Savage standing there. She bowed politely and checked on Nidana. Before she could reach the young Echani, however, Savage reached out and grabbed her arm.
"Patch her up. Once she is fit to move, arrange transport to the Palace. I wish to speak to her again when she is cleaned up."
As startled as the medic looked, she nodded in agreement. Savage released her arm and stepped back to allow her to get to work stitching up Nidana. Still rattled by the events that had in the training rooms, Savage cast a glance over at her, almost as it to reassure her. And just like that, he turned on his heel and exited the Medbay...

Nidana gave a nod and faint smile to Savage, in a way assuring him she would be okay. But after he turned around, she fell silent and sad. Feeling alone and tired, she let the doctor treat her wounds. Wincing as they were cleaned and healed, it didn't take long, mostly superficial damage, maybe a bruised rib or two. But after being healed she stepped into the refresher to wash off the rest of the blood stains. Once that was done and she was as presentable as she ever was (a bit less dirt here or there). Soon she was ushered off to a shuttle, that was departing for the Palace. Everything from the Medbay to the transport was a blur as she played back what had happened in the training area.

The moment that Mariah had finished up her meeting with the Jen'ari, she made use of what little time she had here at the Academy. One single day would be all she was permitted before she would depart for Sullust, but one day was all she needed. However, there were matters she personally needed to tend to first. Despite her calm disposition, each step screamed a new spike of pain through her side. The adrenaline of the battle was beginning to wear off, and with it, the truth of her injury was making itself more known with each passing moment. While she had been through much worse in times' past, she was not a fool to wave this off as though it was nothing. Had her reaction been any slower, her parry of the warrior's saber any sloppier, her wound could have rapidly proven worse than it was. The memory of it, still fresh, sent her smoldering in her anger and disappointment.
It was fairly simple to locate the medbay. The moment she entered the Academy, it took mere moments to feel out the sparks of life of all students and instructors that wandered the building. Eventually, she located it and the quickest path. With haste, she walked the halls as quickly as her feet would carry her despite the raging wound in her side inhibiting her the whole way. She did well enough, though, neither students nor instructors alike seeming to pay her any mind.
As she entered the medbay, she was almost immediately intercepted by a medic droid. Efficient, but she hadn't yet judged if this would be to her advantage. Although she kept up with it as it led her back for the preliminary work, she kept her eyes open for any of the supplies she had intended to simply retrieve, to do as she always has: deal with such matters on her own. She wasn't here to be healed. She didn't have the time. All she came here for was the preventive work -- the cleaning, caring for the affliction, and whatever else they could get done within a few moments. She still fully intended on making her rounds of the Academy before her departure. Neither the injury nor any sort of fuss regarding it would stop her. Only time would tell what measures she would need to take to achieve that. For now, however, she remained at the mercy of the medic droids to, at the very least, achieve the minimum care she sought.

The months had passed on as Gavin continued training the younglings of the Blackguard. It took a bit, but he finally settled into the roll. It hadn't been what he initially hoped for, but had come to see greater value in starting from the bottom of the barrel. This way, he could better ensure they learned his lessons and didn't constantly conflict with him because of their Sith training thus far. Still, he could feel the swelling emotions of his students, ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other.
The thought made him smirk a little as he made his way down the halls of the academy, an older student draped over his left shoulder. Along with training the younglings, he frequented the training area at other times throughout the day, watching all the students and masters that walked through those doors. He was constantly measuring them, gauging their training, and still looking at ways to further his own lessons. It also proved beneficial in moments like these when students were found laid out alone in the training area.
Making his way into the medbay, as he had dozen of times before, he headed straight for the back, knowing that was where they checked on all patients before administering any form of care. He found it only slightly odd that the typical medical droid that greeted him was no where to be seen upon his arrival, only to be revealed tending to another patient. It stopped tending to Mariah for only a moment to direct Gavin to a table just next to them. He nodded, glancing over the woman in a swift motion as his attention moved to the table. Setting the student down, it looked to be a Zabrak male around the age of fifteen. All he could do was shake his head slightly with the faintest of sighs before turning his head, hearing the voice of one of the organic staff approaching as he readjusted the loose, long sleeve shirt he was wearing.
"Another one, huh? You seem to have a knack for always finding them, Master Phoenix."
Tilting his head back, Gavin gave an audible groan of frustration. "How many times do we have to go over this? Drop the master, will you? I hate being referred to that way." His head then tilted as it laid back, letting his gaze fall upon the doctor who showed up to help as if to ensure the point was made.
"Ah, yes. Apologies..Gavin. The only man within the Blackguard that seems to despise being called master." The man shook his head before moving up to examine the boy. "So what does the damage seem to be this time?"
Gavin crossed his arms, stepping slightly to the side as the doctor began looking the boy over. He hadn't seen the event, but had checked around the area to form a fairly solid conclusion. "Multiple lightsaber wounds. A couple grazes to his legs and left arm. Nothing too major. The bigger threat would be the deeper cut received to his right shoulder. Any deeper and he might have lost it." He dropped his head while closing his eyes, visualizing the scene he had walked into. "When I got to the training area, I found him laying there, a training droid deactivated in front of him. It was holding two lightsabers, full powered ones. When I checked the droid's settings, it was set at a high level, much higher than he should have even thought of attempting. Probably trying to show off somehow or thought he could really step up his progress if he trained with something more deadly. Fool."
It was in this moment that the doctor stopped what he was doing and turned to fully face Gavin. "The Sith'ari approves of this particular form of training. It's what produces results and weeds out the weak from the strong. Perhaps you should think about that in regards to your own students, hmm? The way you train them, they'll be lucky if any reach the level of a lesser Sith. A waste of potential, especially that Zabrak, Duvrax." The doctor's tone was hard, reflecting a hint of anger. Despite his role as an instructor, he still hadn't won any points with most of those within the academy.
For a few moments, Gavin said nothing, did nothing. Things were silent as the doctor's challenging stare stayed on the man, waiting for a response. Suddenly, without the slightest flare of power, Gavin turned his head to the doctor. His shaggy, sandy blonde hair hung down around his face, but allowed for his right eye to cut through. An ice blue orb that held a piercing stare that seemed to drive into the soul. The doctor's head dropped a second later, his challenge faltering as he returned to observing the boy. Gavin's gaze stayed focused on the doctor for a moment before it closed and his head dropped once more. "Let me worry about them. You worry about you're job."
Lifting his head, his eyes opened and settled upon Mariah once again. Everything that happened transpired openly in front of her, nothing to hide their stares and expressions, not even enough to muffle their words. Moving around the table, he walked up to her, giving her a half smile. "Sorry about that. Didn't mean to interrupt your recovery like that." He shook his head a bit, allowing both ice blue eyes to be made out among the mess. They still held their piercing gaze, though they didn't seem to cut as hard as they did a few seconds earlier. He appeared young, not much older than twenty-five. Even more was the feeling of his presence. Despite being held as an instructor, his power didn't seem remarkable in any way. At best, it registered as an everyday level of power among the cookie cutter Force-sensitives of the galaxy. On top of that came the sensation of no alignment. No light or dark, merely there, something that would register him as a weakling with no drive or motivation.

The few moments that she had with the medic droid felt like they dragged on for longer than necessary. Mariah had pondered several times simply getting up and walking out. Even after the medic droid carefully cut away the fabric to reveal the wound, leaving her midsection bare, she considered it. Her cloak, which was now folded and resting next to her, would have been sufficient enough to make it back out to her ship. In the time that she was able to work out and execute a plan in her mind, however, the medic droid was able to fulfill the primary duties she had sought out from the medic staff. Now, all she needed was the right moment.
It was as though the Force willed an opportunity into existence, when a man strode into the back to drop off a Zabrak youth. As efficiently as it nabbed her and ushered her away, the medic droid left her to tend to the new patient. Mariah met Gavin’s first initial glance with a steady crimson gaze, and her fiery hair was like a pop of color within the dulled tones of the medbay. She probably looked like just another youngling to him, another over-adventurous student who bit off more than she could chew. Once he turned his attention back to the unconscious youth, it was time to finish up the mending herself. The droid had already taken care her needs and more, which left Mariah with one final step, which she had no issues with administering herself. With a faint yet smooth motion of her hand, she willed a wrap of bandage nearby into her possession, reaching her person just as the organic staff made his way over to the pair directly next to her.
There was a fine line between keeping up an awareness of her surroundings and prying into business that wasn’t hers. However, from the initial greeting between the two, the conversation going on directly next to her was something difficult to ignore. A resentment to meaningless titles was something she was all too familiar with, but she didn’t imagine to hear of it among the Sith at the Academy. When the conversation shifted to that of the boy here for treatment, though, she took her opportunity. It may have been the only one given.
Sliding down from the table, she stood back to her feet. The pain killers had worked wonders, her wound now hardly even a discomfort and easily dealt with for the time being. When her feet hit the floor, however, she realized how strong of a dose they had administered, an initial dizziness rushing over her. Steadying herself for just a brief moment, Mariah’s attention shifted back over towards those direct next to her. They didn’t seem to notice, now in a heated discussion to the Sith’ari’s apparent preferred training methods. With a deep breath, she gathered her things, taking a brief moment to re-affix her weapons and cloak back where they belonged before stashing away the bandage wrapping.
As Mariah was about to turn to make her way out, she felt the other presence approach her from the other table. As her eyes met his piercing blue, there was a sharpness in her crimson stare, cutting through the otherwise friendlier attempts he made with his apologies. Even stranger was that, even with him standing so close, she couldn’t sense anything remarkable about his signature. A frail presence, yet also a Master. A sleight of hand within the Force. It was something she was only familiar with because it was an art she often practiced, even now. If this Master Gavin Phoenix tried, then he, too, would feel the same from her presence as well, or rather lack thereof. However, yet again, she wouldn’t have expected such things from a Master at the Sith Academy. She found it all too odd that there were those who employed similar techniques here. She dismissed the correlation as an effect of the pain killers.
“Nothing to interrupt,” she answered, realizing she left a beat of silence fall in her dubious, narrowed stare. “They were just finishing up with me. I was about to see myself out.”
She tore her gaze away from Gavin for a moment, keeping a view on both the doctors and the medic droids, who were now engrossed in the youngling. She had some extra time, although not much, to try and smoothly make an exit so that even this one might not suspect her attempts at an early discharge. What more, she hadn't yet figured out if hallucinations within the Force were another a common side effect to the pain killers.
“A shame, that one." There was a slight scoff in her tone. "Potential is a wonderful thing but too easily wasted if he kills himself.” With two small steps, she placed Gavin directly between her line of sight of the doctors, and in turn, their sight of her. She was both short and petite enough that Gavin's frame easily hid her from view. Motioning towards the Zabrak child with a tilt of her head, she added, “I couldn’t help but overhear.”

Already hidden once again beneath her cloak, the only true details Gavin was able to make out were her eyes and matching hair. The eyes might have been common, especially within the academy, yet the crimson locks were not, no matter the race. But in those few seconds he was able to gather enough to know she wasn’t a regular. Perhaps a new recruit or an ally of the Blackguard, one could only guess. Her presence wasn’t much, suggesting more along the lines of a new student, seeking to learn the ways of the Sith. But the look in her eyes spoke a different tale. That level of sharpness came from hardships and experience. While only a theory, he suspected that she, too, opted to keep herself hidden as much as possible. The next question, if it was true, was why?
Yet, he let the thoughts pass to the back of his mind. He wasn’t one for prying into the business of others, no matter how curious he was. If she was to take up residence within the academy, he was certain they’d cross paths enough for him to formulate just what she was up to. Without moving, his gaze followed her as she stepped to his side, hiding herself by using him as a shield. He closed his eyes giving the slightest of smirks and scoffs.
"Indeed. Serious combat is truly the way to grow, but thinking you can just jump levels like that only gets you hurt and sets you back if you’re lucky." Having no reason or care to draw attention to her attempt to slip out, he redirected the small conversation with her as she mentioned the Zabrak. At least someone understood something the way he did. "Perhaps next time he’ll be smarter, though I doubt it." It was at this point he turned to face her, fully hiding her behind his frame. In the slightest of nudges, his head tilted towards the door before he continued to face the exit and made his way back out into the hall.

Two figures entered the medbay: one a familiar face to those sentient doctors who roamed its halls, Gavin Phoenix . The other perhaps was easily forgotten since her sole venture here nearly a year ago. At least now, the tides had been turned, and it was not she who sought out their assistance, but the other. However, even as she remained by Gavin's side, the crimson-haired woman remained ever-silent. Her plan was only to linger long enough for him to be taken out of her care and into theirs. From there, she had her own resting up that she needed to do, and to finish the job that Gavin couldn’t, by sheer exhaustion alone. Then, there was that last preying thought on her mind...
These were all steps to take when she could meditate later in the solitude of her ship. Until she was sure that Gavin was taken in, however, there was that invisible chain that kept her side-by-side with the Sith Academy Master. One created from her own traditions, perhaps, but all the stronger it was, then, to her smaller woman next to him.

Despite his attempt to once again offer up his room for the night, she was adamant in her denial of the offer this time around. In most times, he would have continued to push her, as it seemed he was good at. But not only was he too tired to really put up any kind of fight, for a small moment, he felt her slip into his mind and with power she had regained in his healing was able to disrupt him just enough to silence him completely, forcing every ounce of strength he had left to continue walking without her aid.
It wasn’t too long before they managed to make their way into the medbay. It was an ironic twist of fate. It was this very location that they first meet, which had led to this encounter. Now, the ending of the day’s events had brought them back, though it was he that was needing attention. What was more was that his condition was much worse off. Still, the thought of it all brought a smirk to his face.
It was an odd thing, needing such attention. He couldn’t remember the last time he had ever been injured enough to remotely require medical attention. Truth be told, if it was for Mariah’s insistence, he still wouldn’t have bothered. It didn’t take long before some of the attendants arrived began to lead him to the back room. If not for the bit of healing Gavin did to better aid in her facade, they would have worked to take her to the back as well. Before he got a couple steps, he turned, his eyes soft once again as he gave her a smile. "I’ll see you later." And with that, he was gone from sight.

It was more than a relief when the medical droids took Gavin out from under her wing and into their own -- and without bothering her too much about her own injuries. There was no doubt in Mariah's mind that they both would have wound up being persistently escorted back there had Gavin not healed her. That is, had she made it back to the Academy to begin with. She could still feel her tired, aching muscles protest in guiding Gavin from the landing pads to the medbay, and that was after he did what little he could to stitch up her wounds. Let alone before he had done so, and her stubbornness to walk the journey while in her prior state...
As Gavin had pondered those thoughts, Mariah did the same. Most wounds she was dealt, she could patch herself up relatively quickly and didn't need to worry about medical assistance. Her last case here was only brought on only her by her own childish stubbornness and not necessarily drawn from facing off against a worthy opponent. But this was different... or would have been.
Dismissing the thoughts from her head with relative ease, Mariah glanced up with a crimson stare to find Gavin looking back at her with a puzzling gentle expression and a smile. Then again, his words held some sureness, like the lingering fragments of that overconfident man. Her decision to speak with him again was still left in limbo, but it was though he knew somehow and sought to tip the scales. All Mariah could do was release a growling sigh, though, as no later, he disappeared round the corner with the droid.
Upholding that front of strength, Mariah nodded once to a passing doctor who caught her in his gaze and turned to depart from the medbay before a sentient attendant could try to also drag her back with them.

Do what you came here to do.
Those words echoed with undesirable resilience through the crimson-haired woman’s head, over and over again, as she stormed through the mostly-empty halls of the Sith Academy. Of course, there were the few night owls who prowled the halls, giving her edgy glances as she passed by with that determined scowl written on her features. If it was anyone else who uttered those words, Mariah very well would have denied the implications, that she came here with a truer purpose than already stated. But it was Aria. The one person who knew her better than any other. Not like her presence always lingering around her own helped any, either.
With every footfall on her damaged leg, she could still feel dull pain shoot through her body, but it was much more bearable than before. At the very least, she could instinctively control the limping that would give it away, so it was easy enough to slip into the medbay without much question. At this hour, it would be rare for someone to be checked in, and if so, they would no doubt regret feeling the wrath of their Master come morning. Nonetheless, Mariah still felt those steady eyes that turned to face her, their lips parting as if to inquire about her presence.
Mariah lifted a hand towards the doctors, silencing them, her pace never slowing.
Out of all the presences that lingered in this room, his stuck out to her all too easily. Familiar. Distinct. No doubt, he could diminish his presence like the first time she met him, and now, she could still find him anywhere within the Academy. Mariah didn’t have time to figure out if that was convenient or unnerving. Soon enough, she turned the corner to find Gavin, still resting from their duel only hours ago.
“Alright, sleeping beauty,” she commanded to lure him back to consciousness, should it necessary. Her tone was more apathetic and sharp than playful and humorous as her word choice might've suggested. Typical for her, at least. Leaning her weight onto her good leg, she crossed her arms and cocked her head to the side, those crimson eyes locked upon him. “Get up. We’re leaving.”
