Rip roaring out of hyperspace was a dagger shaped ship, quick and quiet like a knife in the back. Behind the controls, the ever hungering one fiddled with the steering yoke, taking the star courier into the teaming orbital traffic lanes before dipping down into the planet's atmosphere. The Grimblade made the transition as easily as a snake slips into water. Yet it wasn't a venom laced kiss this serpent possessed, but promise. Promise and the sort of dark dreams only the truly perverse can conjure.

From the depths of hyperspace, the Nebula Class Star Destroyer Shadow emerges into the open orbit of the Dressel system. With the stealth technology aboard activated, it would be somewhat difficult to identify by all but visual eye sight, and with a matte black hull, the Shadow was very hard to see against the ocean of dark space. Applying thrust with the massive engines, the pilot located on the central bridge looks over his shoulder at the commander of the vessel. Desmond Heart. Looking back to his screens, the pilot adjusts their heading slightly, keeping them far from the planet as they activate the search screen for she LEGO, the ship of two missing Jedi that Adi had specifically requested that Desmond retrieve for him. Why Adi had requested Desmond's personal influence in the situation the intelligence operative would never know. Jedi were odd at best, insane at worst. Shrugging his shoulders slightly, Desmond moves back to his command chair aboard the destroyer, sending out the active pings was dangerous in unknown territory and Des didn't like it. He liked going in quiet, unseen. This search pattern approach was much too loud for his liking. Activating a few switches, Desmond toggles active sensors as well as secondaries, allowing him to see all the way down to mere 12 in diameter asteroids around his craft as blobs on a screen, or in full spec mode at a certain scale if he wished. Sitting back, he trails his eyes across the screen. Searching....

*The universe is Huge. Many, both learned and unlearned beerdrinking pubdiscussions have argued about how huge it is. Space itself is wast. Now, if we think that only a portion of space has actual galaxies in it, we can immagine how big space is... if we believe the Big Bang Theory. Not the lousy TV show, but the actual explosion. Now, if the universe (the part where there actually are galaxies) has an end, we could set up the formula.
(Starsistems in our galaxy x avaradge planets in starsistems) x (Universe x galaxies) = Space
This formula will be a hypothesis for astrofisiologists and philosophers untill we can surely say how many galaxies there are, and if there actually is only one Universe, or several such.
But it gets us an idea of how big Space is. So, if the Universe is only a part of Space, and galaxies are only a Small part of the universe, we can with scertenaty say that a Star sistem, wich builds up a Galaxy are farther down on the "Tiny" scale.
It is with this realisation one realises ones own part in the scheme of the universe, when one has to walk 10 minutes to the store to get milk, and one has not even left a planet.
What this means, is that its pretty hard to find a crashed ship with two jedi supposedly onboard, on a planet. Because, a planet is also rather huge. Its laughable that there are still primitive civilisations that have not made it off their ugly blue green rocks yet.
Lucky for Desmond, he would find the debris after a fighter battle (not dogfight, the Ugly didnt have a chance, the droids were fireing at everything, and the mandalorians were kinda surprised at the entire situation) in space, and there would be fuel, smoke and ion tracks leading to the small Ugly-class fighters demise down on the ground.*

Following the almost pre-planned out tracking beacon of wreckage strewn across space like a trail of crumbs, the Shadow makes its way lower into orbit around Dressel. Zooming in on the crash site, Desmond sits back in his chair thoughtfully, taking a pull on his favored pipe as he squeezes it between two fingers, the automated smoke removal system pulling the dangerous smoke out of the air before any on the bridge had the capability of "Second hand smoke." Considering that they were on a naval warship that at anytime could be ambushed and utterly destroyed, Desmond was curious why they had been so worried about his smoking. Shrugging at the thought, he stood up stretching his bones as he thought about what to do. Finally deciding to send down a probe droid to the surface, no need to waist personnel if it ended up being a wild goose chase. Signaling his desires to his flight XO, the appropriate orders are sent down to the hangar and the probe is fired towards the surface at a high rate of speed.

Dressel. Self-proclaimed galactic marketplace. Must be a slow day. You'd think a galactic marketplace would have more freighter traffic. An idle observation as the mercenary angled his Arakyd Helix-class interceptor toward the planet. The ship had originally held a "light interceptor" designation, but he doubted that could actually be truthfully applied anymore. The modifications he'd made since acquiring it now placed it more on-par with a fast-attack gunship than a light interceptor. Regardless, he didn't expect to require the ship's weapons or defenses on this particular leg of his journey, so he kept shield power at standard levels and reconfigured the angles for atmospheric flight before diving into the air pocket surrounding the planet below.

The probe launch is detected, and with a bit of clever math, the origin is soon discovered. Stealthy though it may be, a Star Destroyer in orbit is kind of hard to miss.
Unidentified vesssel, this is Dressel ATC. Please state your intentions. If they're peaceful or at least business related, we welcome you to Dressel. If not, please prepare for imminent destruction.
Given the recent Mandalorian incursion, the planetary government had thought it prudent to operate on an elevated state of alert. With the presence of the Market, odd and often stealthy ships were not uncommon, but they figured it was better to be safe than sorry.

::Dressel ATC, this is the Star Destroyer Shadow flying Jedi colors. Repeat, Jedi colors.::
Looking over to his XO, a Captain Presly, Desmond walks over to his station.
"Captain, please drop stealth systems, light us up."
Looking from his commander and to his station, Presly rapidly taps in a few commands, sending orders to the secondary bridge where the stealth system was controlled. Shortly after that, the screens of the ATC station light up, showing reports that the entire Star Destroyer was unarmed.
::Dressel ATC, as you can see, there is no possible way I could be on a hostile mission against you. As I have no armament aboard this vessel. So, with that worry eliminated, I see no reason why I can't be clear on my intentions. I've been sent to locate, and acquire two missing Jedi who were last reported as being in this area. Can you be of assistance? Consider it a favor owed if you can.::

The controller checked the records. There was in fact a Jedi ship that had crashed recently.
Hmm...It seems that a vessel with a Jedi on board did crash here recently. He and the vessel's pilot are on the way to a medcenter. They're both in need of treatment.
The sound of a keyboard can be heard over the intercom.
They're not being charged with anything, so as soon as they're stable, and assuming that they want to go with you, they're free to do so.

The mercenary briefly listened in on the un-encrypted conversation as his ship rose out of the atmosphere, the mention of jedi piquing his interest, but as he had already accepted another job he simply filed the information away for later. The Dresselian government was his current employer, and he made a habit of not taking conflicting jobs. That was just plain bad for business. Once out of atmo, and the planet's gravity well, it took only moments to punch in the coordinates of his next destination and make the jump.

Desmond sits back, stroking his short beard that ran across his chin thoughtfully as he pondered why they were so quick to give up the Jedi. Most folks nowadays would be asking at least for some form of payment. Curious... very curious.
::Dressel ATC, requesting permission to land with a medical team to assist in the recovery of the respective Jedi.::
As he's speaking, he turns the frequency onto his personal comm unit, making his way from the bridge to the nearest landing bay and his shuttle. At the same time, he's tapping commands into his wrist computer. By the time he makes it to the hangar bay, the medical team is waiting for him with two repulsor lift gurneys and all the medical equipment that a full triage unit on the battle field might need. Once all of them are aboard and stowed, Desmond makes his way up to the cockpit and begins the start up sequence.

The controller chuckled.
You can land, but the team won't be necessary. They've already been taken to a medcenter. If you wish to meet with them, feel free to do so. Just remember that Dressel does not take kindly to those that would cause harm to individuals taken into our protection. Mind your manners.

::Very well Dressel ATC, shuttle approaching. Eta, fifteen minutes.::
Dropping from the hangar bay, the shuttle makes its way planetside.

"Looks like this is it, Arr-Eight," a diminutive female spoke to her astromech droid just for the sake of breaking the silence, relatively speaking, and having someone---someTHING she reminded herself---to talk to, as she dropped her XJ9D X-wing out of hyperspace over the planet Dressel. This was where she'd traced the source of the Force Vision that had invaded her mind while she was on Osarian. And, now it was somewhere just below her. She shivered involuntarily, mumbling to herself, "maybe I should have at least told Dav where I was going. Hey! I didn't ask you!" she riposted to a series of shrilly annoyed beeps, whistles, and chirps that sounded uncomfortably close to her ear. "Settle down, fusspot, it's not like you will have to come up with an explanation for this. Just find me somewhere safe to land." She did not want to put any scratches on the hide of her fighter. It was the symbol of her belonging to Dragon Squadron, and yes, she was undeniably proud of it. One of the Dragons! It was a far cry from being a starving refugee on Nar Shadaa. More than that, Nathan and Alora would be proud of her. No, they were proud of her. She knew it.
Alexis angled her fighter in a smooth gliding descent towards Dressel's surface, last chance to call it off and turn around left behind her. She was determined to figure this out, and find Joshua. He looked like he'd needed help. If he was still alive...

A small personnel freighter, a Corellian made YT-1760 transport ship bearing the insignia of the Jedi Order, drops out of warp with determination towards the planet's atmosphere. A steady but deliberate course.
:: Dressel Orbital Command, this Will Son'tir; Jedi Master of the High Council, I was recently informed that one of our own is being held in a medical facility at one of your cities. I am here to retrieve him. With respect, I request preferred diplomatic status and be allowed to immediately retrieve him. Please respond.:: A stern by respectful request. If the locals did not want the Kierra-Solo retrieved, they would not have contacted the High Council.
Assuming Dressel Orbital gets back to Will with the proper clearances, Master Son'tir makes his approach through the atmosphere. . . .

The Dressel had followed the first ship down into the atmosphere, not bothering to contact the pilot, this was an open planet after all and not under any security strictures. The battle between the Mando attackers and the Shard defenders had passed nearly two days before and things had settled down to something resembling normality. The Mando craft, though still in the system somewhere, the sensor operators were sure, had not been seen since they had departed the planet though several suspicious transports had arrived from a similar vector a few hours previously, descending down into the atmosphere to become the problems of those down below. That's how the controllers up here saw it anyway.
When the voice boomed over the comm the operator jumped, booted feet sliding off the console where they had been resting and thumping to the floor. He scrambled forward an seized the microphone, the Jedi Master voice alone enough to force obedience even over the comm channel. The operator paused for a moment. Everyone up here ad heard about the mad Jedi they had down at the medical center but how much was he to disclose? It didn't matter, he thought ruefully. There was no way he was going to try and lie to a Jedi.
He activated the comm and leaned forward to speak, voice trembling slightly.
Medical center. South continent. You'll have to ask down on the planet for your... thingy status. Out
He hung up the comm quickly and fearfully, before the nasty Jedi could put a spell on him.

Fresh from Edathor Barclay broke his way into the orbit of the planet his ship entering from the swirling mess of hyperspace. This particular bounty hunter had a rough time, his quarry was not on Edathor and as such he had left a mess of violence and killing behind him. A couple of explosions, killings, chase through the streets and riveting space escape had left the Balosar on edge. Smoking one of his death sticks he thumbed his YV-929 towards the marketplace. Marketplace command, this is Peter Kyle Pressing one of the blue buttons on the side of the board the IFF changed from unknown to that of Peter Kyles. You see his usual name, Flip was on high alert right now. His other two names on the other hand were pretty good. Looking to land on the marketplace.

Three days. He, the fake-man, demigod, loser equipped with Heaven's will, had managed to survive the three days aboard his vessel whilst in route to this head-quarters of sorts. Dresden's curiosity had been piqued, his doubts had been aroused, but never did he once betray a lack of confidence in his purpose. To the fallen Whill, the reanimated man now using a lanky and oddly proportioned body, his final fate was just that -a fate, the inevitable. Now contrast that against the butchered enigma currently residing aboard his ship. Call her what you what you will: prisoner, spoil of war, ally, deceiver -all of it was applicable. One could only wonder if the demigod was aware of the old adage regarding the wiseman who nursed a viper to health. Was she simply biding her time? Awaiting the perfect moment to swivel her gun sights towards him in some desperate gamble to wrestle the balance of power?
If he had the fortitude to gaze into her very mind he would find the truth to be something ultimately more terrible than any betrayal.
In anycase, he had succeeded in bringing his new ally to open orbit over the troubling clouds of the planet below.
The tissue had regrown nicely, though the final night of the transition was the most painful, even more than the actual trauma which caused the Major to fall down to such a sorry state in the first place. Her only comfort was hoping that no one had managed to see the woman sneak into a small closet within her dormitory in between muscle spasms. Once therein, she made an impromptu gag with some pillowcases, and used them to stifle her combination of cries, curses, and groans as her body revealed just how much it had grown to hate her. At a certain point during the night it appeared that the saliva slicked gag would not be enough, and so the Fallanassi managed to grab some pillows, and took turns smothering herself with it. Most humans posses a certain lack of strength when they begun to choke themselves, but this woman seemed to lack such scruples: she blacked herself out a number of times throughout the hellish hours. These brief blooms were the acts of mercy in this hailstorm of perpetual suffering. However dark it seemed eventually the pain relented, and it was nearly morning time -not that such things existed in the cold depths of space.
Perhaps the remains of Eralam would be able to detect that the sharpshooter drank double the amount of coffee during breakfast, and that she was oddly silent -even for her. What's more, today she did not have a steady supply of questions for him -most designed to force introspection and constantly double back and reflect upon earlier queries, as though weeding out any possible lies he might tell. Nope, today she remained seated quietly, gazing downward as if reading an invisible novel. This continued until they cleared the dark hemisphere of Dressel and reached out into crowded corridors as ships rolled into and out of hyperspace.
Only there was no traffic, but a fleet.
A number of Star Destroyers of varying makes and models had muscled out any of the planet's traffic with their presence, and these behemoths of war were supported by a dozen frigates, each large and rounded like the segment of a tunnel while rounded upon the ends. They appeared cumbersome and delicate, but as with anything that regarded Fallanassi, they were made to look like something they were not, like blundering antiques trapped in a warp. The atmosphere glistened and twinkled about the kampfgruppe as patrol pickets swarmed about and were ready to defend or attack without hesitation. And, of course, upon each vessel there was a certain symbol painted, the very same symbol the woman was currently spinning back and forth upon the fingers of her left hand while grinning widely at the view-ports.
"Pippin ist so prone to hyperbole, as ist his charm. Ah, but der time of subtlety hast past, hasn't it?"The Major turns to regard Dresden, just as a searchlight from the closest capital ship spears the peace of space an violates the dusky lighting inside their craft, casting her into a harsh, angular shadow as the light warmed her back. Perhaps it was coincidence, perhaps it was the ideal and potential of possibility dawning upon her mind as she laid her eyes on something she was responsible for, maybe it was the excitement of it, and her lack of social graces to properly display that aforementioned excitement -whatever it was, when she spoke her next words, they sounded foul, sinister, as if tone alone could bring into remembrance all of her amorality in one moment."Mein friend. . ."
