I'm not one for the big, long, drawn-out goodbyes, so let's keep this short and sweet and succulent and savory and scrumptious and ohlawdtherewego.
Given the real-life situation of being on my final year of college and my general waning interest in writing much of anything, it's with a heavy heart that I say my very-probably-permanent farewell to JvS. If it's not a lack of storytelling, it's a lack of interest on my part. If it's not a lack of interest, it's a lack of time. And if it's not a lack of time, blah blah blah. From where I stand? All the stories I'd want to take part in have been written, the people I'd want to write with are in a similar situation to my own, and I simply don't have the patience to do as good of a Councilor-y job as I'd like to do. It seems after Bulthos, Styro, and KR, it's only fitting that the last thing I quickly and suddenly cut down is my own presence on-site.
That being said, having been part of this community for the majority of its time since its infancy, I felt it improper to just up and leave. God only knows Fel would've had Tawaza hunt me down.
Wishing you guys all the best in your writing here. Should I ever get the chance to pop back in and catch up, I know you crazy creative sons o' guns won't let me down in keeping up the stellar writing I've come to know and love from all of ye.
