The Ardent-class Fast Frigate "The Yellow Skull" exited hyprspace above the planet. The helmsman followed his Captain's orders and placed them into a high orbit of the planet so as to not attract too much attention.
Vaulkhar was waiting on the hanger deck, he had given instructions for his team to meet him there early in the shift for some training. This included the newest addition to the crew, the slave girl known as "Three". Vaulkhar wanted to know what she was capable of now before they got into a situation on the planet.

Three guessed what this all was about. Briefing, and maybe testing what she can do. She came strapping. Vibrosword across her back and the E-11 hanging from a shoulder. Stealth belt ready and charged, her body well wrapped in the special cloth that helps the stealth field. Goggles. The days it took to come here she held herself to her cabin, trying to familiarise herself with the report about the hutt space worlds.
She walked in and took a seat randomly.

Vaulkhar's team were almost all in the hanger by the time Three arrived. She was apparently ready for a full scale war, something the rest of the team were not expecting. They arrived in their casual gear and unarmed, expecting training weapons to be provided, they would be. The team sat around on chair near where Three was seated as Vaulkhar paced in front of them.
"The Hutts tend to hire very dangerous beings to guard them and their money so we're going to need to be sharp and ready for anything. I know you can all handle yourself but there is one person here who I have never seen in a violent situation, Three, can you stand up and get out here."
When Vaulkhar had stopped pacing he was stood between the seated team and a soft matted area that had been set up on one side of the hanger bay. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get to know her moves or humiliate her in front of the team for good measure.

Three stood up. Her expression was hidden by the cloth over her face only her cold eyes were well seen. She was measuring her new companions. They all were larger, stronger and taller then her. This meant she was faster, and given her race, more nimble.
She did as she was told, as all good slaves should. She stepped over to the matt but didnt yet step up on it. She waited for more instruction or someone to trash.

In Echani culture it is said that the only way to fully know someone is to fight them. Vaulkhar was a beleiver in this tradition and had personally fought with everyone on his team. He stepped onto the matted area and gestures for Three to follow him.
"Step up Three, make a choice of weapons and then stick to it."
Vaulkhar hoped she would choose unarmed combat, something of a speciality of the Echani but he would be happy to spar with any weapon. He would wait for the slave to make her choice, something she probably didn't get to do very often. Once the weapons had been chosen Vaulkhar would match her stance and battle would commence.

Three looked over the echani. Then the matt. The Matt. She also knew about echani close combat prowess. She was a second generation Banshee, witch meant she was still trained by the imperials, and they had thought her that while she can learn echani martial arts, she will never be as good at it as an echani.
She threw the sword far away, the sheath protected the blade as it slid away. She pulled the E-11 out of its holster and stepped up on the matt. Blaster in the right hand and her left casually grabbing her belt by the beltbuckle. The thing with the belt was that it didnt actually look like a stealth belt. It looked like a ceremonial attire to hang your E-11 on. She stood there, with the blaster pointed downwards, Goggles hiding her eyes and skin, ready to hear her master out.

The Twi'lek had chosen blasters as the weapon, an interesting choice for the surroundings, no usable cover. Vaulkhar walked over to the weapon rack and picked up a DC-17m with the blaster attachment on, setting it to the pain setting. He then walked back over and stood opposite the Twi'lek.
"Stun setting on, we don't want to injure anyone now do we?"
The pain setting on the pirates gun wouldn't full stun the Twi'lek, it would cause the area that was hit to become very painful. The blaster fired charged ions that targeted the nervous system without causing any physical damage. He hoped the Twi'lek would be shocked by the pain, Vaulkhar was expecting the same in return. There was only a brief moment that he let the rhetorical question linger before he quickly raised his blaster rifle and squeezed off a shot at the Twi'lek's chest before rolling to his left and firing off another one towards Three's legs.

Three didnt change the setting. It would kill if it hit. Not that she meant to kill. She never meant to hit him. The moment the pirate raised his weapon she was on the move, one step to strafe, one step forward, one strafing step. The first shot missed her by inches, and so did the second, missing her mobile legs. She herself raised her weapon, and aimed in her new master but didnt fire one shot. She wanted him to start moving too.
She strafed one more step quickly to the left and then changed directions to trick the pirates aim by fienting to the left but going to the right all the while she gained momentum and speed. Her left hand still didnt leave her belt.

His two shots missed by mere inches as the Twi'lek danced around. She then paused for a second to aim at Vaulkhar but she did not fire. This was a mistake, the Echani did fire directly back at her chest before he moved. He had nothing to lose as at least his gun was set to pain and not kill. The Executioner sprang up and decided to end the bout by rapidly firing several shots towards the slave as he moved closer to her.
"Never hesitate."
He said, firing off a few more sots for good measure.

This time the Pirate hit the banshee, glancing hit. Her fient with the changing directions saved her from a hit in the chest. Instead of respetory pains she got a dislocated shoulder. At least it felt like it. Searing pain every time she moved the arm. She fired back this time, since her oponent started to move. Red blaster bolts erupted on the mattrass behind Vaulkhar as the twilek missed on purpouse. Add three quick shots between them and Three should have Vaulkhar fairly well surrounded by explosions, flame and smoke.
As the last shot was fired, her left hand activated the stealth belt. Sound scrambler negated all sound in a couple meters range, while she was only a blurr in the air for the eyes. With the smoke and flames in the air, she was fairly invisible.
Her momentum took her around the echani, in a flanking manouver to her right.
For now, smoke and flames. Soon fire estinguished foam... and to Threes knowledge, only she had goggles that could see through it...

Vaulkhar smiled as he saw his shot connect with the slave. He had been hit many times by the painful training rounds used by the pirates and knew how painful any action with the arm that was struck would become. In fact it was a testament to the Twi'lek's pain tolerance that she didn't either drop her blaster or release her grip on her belt. However she did not and decided to fire and reveal that she had not changed the setting on her blaster, a fact that made Vaulkhar more than a little angry.
"You better stay invisible because if you reveal yourself now you're going to wish you'd used this time to flee!"
The Echani shouldered his blaster and slowly walked off the matt towards his team. The other pirates were now on their feet, they had not taken the fact that the slave has left her blaster set to kill as well as their leader. They had weapons in hand and were very angry indeed. Vaulkhar sat down facing the matt, waiting for Three's reaction.

The Banshee didnt deem this demonstration to be over.
That was all she could read from his lips as she got around to his side, a couple meters away. By that time it was likely Vaulkhar himself was in the range of the sound scrambling device. Her left hand kept grabbing her belt, thats the only way she could control the pain and the spasms from the stun gun and it became stronger. Banshees were trained to withstand high amounts of pain. She could stay functioning with a lost arm. She knew ardent class frigates, the fleet witch the banshees work with have six, and the banshees often use them as operational centers. Thus they have learned how to assault and defend one, and what systems and subsystems could be used or destroyed to benefit either task. Igniting something in a hangar deck like this got the emergency fire prevention systems activated. White powder was sprayed from the sealing, and some foam aimed at the fires, thus Vaulkhars general area as he was leaving the mattress. Three aimed her attack so Vaulkhar would be between her and his men. She planned to use the distraction of the fire fighting system and the sound scrambling to get behind Vaulkhar and close enough to nudge him in the back with the rifle. She deactivated the sound scrambling with a painfull push of a button.
-Three- "Yield!"
One too quick move from anyone and she would aim to temporarily paralyse his waist with a close range shot, her tone suggested. So did her aim. Also, to Vaulkhars knowledge, she still had her weapon set to blast.

Vaulkhar walked calmly off the matt, ignoring the slave or perhaps unable to hear/see her due to the excessive foam being sprayed onto the fire. Either way he took his seat and calmly crossed his legs as he looked back at the Twi'lek.
"Are you quite done?"
The Executioner was not impressed with toys, tricks and trinkets and his facial expression reflected his sour mood. In the heat of battle you could not rely on those things from saving you, only yourself. Tactics and personal prowess in battle were what got him to notice an individual, Three was lacking in these departments.

No more warnings. The slave fired just as the pirate captain didnt heed her request for surrender. One local paralising shot at his pelvis from inches away. The foam was covering her, so she wouldnt be able to use her stealth gear, but the white powder that descended from above now worked as a dense fog for the next couple of moments and she used this to start incapacitating the rest of the armed enemies. With one painfull move of her left thumb, she activated the sound distortion device. A banshee only gave one chance to give up. THen, the chance is taken away untill she deems the pain to be over.
The rest of them would be in the range of the sound scrambler. With it, her shots were only seen.
She jumped out to the right, fireing one shot on the move at the closest target that was mare feets away, then a quickly aimed shot at the heat signiture that was furthest away. She would work her way around them to the right, shooting the closest as she jumped and as she landed always the furthest away. At the third jump she would simply fall down to the ground. By now the pirates surely guessed she would be moving to the right and start fireing where they thought she would be next. Thats when she started giving quick aimed shots at the closest, trying to fell them all using this little fient. She rolled between shots, now to the left.
The fighting technique she learned was in its core simple. Use your enviroment to distract oponents, may it be fire extinction, red barrels that always by law of nature explode, or the couple of distracting things she had with her as gear. Sound scramblers were good because groups of enemies you wanted to take out couldnt coordinate and scream for help, there was just a silent flash of light and one fell, then an other, and an other and an other. The Goggles she had with could give her sight in many situations where normal creatures couldnt see witch gave her options to how to incapacitate oponents.
She would try to subdue the pirates at the table, or die trying. But, she had plans for the captain. She had a reason why she let him keep his arms. If he has reasoning capabilities, he will see that if the rest of the pirates wake up, and find his arms around the twileks neck, he wont loose face, but gain some. Defeating a slave that took them out, that they themselves couldnt handle? And the slave will hopefully gain some face... even if she might just get beaten some. plus, she wanted him to see what went on.
That was the plan at least, but she would have to actually succeed in taking out the small group of pirates, and that fog wont last long.

*With a flash, a LAAT gunship painted black as night dropped out of hyperspace. The gunship hung back a distance from the planet, trying not to draw any unwanted attention. For the occupants inside, their job was almost over. *
*Korra sat in the troopbay of the ship. Her eyes were closed as she thumb the datacylinder in her hand. This was another job successfully completed and she should have felt satisfied about that, but she wasn't. Everyday that passed, every successful job she did just seemed to drag her deeper into the affairs of the criminal world. She had never really planned on going this far down the rabbit hole, so to speak. She opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling. Wondering if there was a way out of this now, or if she was forever stuck in the cycle.*

Ander Tagira [GC-01] Lord Commander, Galactic Security Assistance Force Nal Hutta, Y'Toub System, Hutt Space 0940 hours, Local Time Behind Korra's vessel, less than a half-lightyear away, a similarly painted LAAT/i gunship dropped out of hyperspace and began , its hull painted black as pitch. Though the paint scheme of the two vessels were similar, the second gunship was equipped with a variety of systems that allowed it to remain undetected by its quarry. Within the gunship's cockpit, three beings were seated, armored in Katarn-variant kits with helmets that the bore familiar (and often feared) T-shaped visors favored by Mandalorian warriors, or verde.I've got the vessel on sensors, it's making the approach to Nal Hutta now. The co-pilot, Staff Sergent Nom Carver, reported. Seated behind the two operators, Ander Tagira, fresh from GALSAF's recent operations on Yavin IV, nodded.Good, get closer. I want to reach the vessel before it reaches the planet's range. The pilot, Sergent Jaster Hevly, replied by increasing the gunship's engine power, closing in on the target vessel. Ander pulled his datatablet from his utility belt and read over the information he'd received from GALCOM regarding their target, a woman named Korra Sekel. According to the information GALSAF's Intelligence Operatives had gleaned during their surveillance of the woman, Sekel had been working for a variety of criminal organizations both in and outside of Hutt Space for some time, though she never stuck around long. She'd found work as a mercenary and smuggler predominantly, though never anything so dark as to make her an active target. She was, however, valuable. Currently, Tagira's organization was collecting intel on the various Hutt Clans operating throughout the Outer Rim in the hopes of dismantling their slaving and drug-running operations. It was Ander's hope that this Korra Sekel might agree to help siphon information from the Clans to GALSAF, and in doing so further the scope of their collected intelligence. We're in range. Sergent Hevly said, prompting Ander to stow his datatablet. Kill the primary systems, let her drift, the target hasn't accelerated. Carver told his counterpart as he brought the ion cannon systems online. What's our distance? Carver asked.Ten klicks. Hevly replied.Closing time?Thirty seconds.Give me the green light in forty. Ander told the pilots, then slapped the release on his restraint harness and keyed open the rear hatch that led to the troop bay, stepping through it as it slid open with an abrupt hiss. He gestured with three fingers on one hand to the commandos waiting for him in the troop bay, and they stood, checking and rechecking each other's gear. Ander reached for his own rifle, a Verpine Assault Carbine, clipped it to his shoulder plate and stood by the port side troop bay door, then gestured again with two fingers. In response, he received a thumb's up from the squad leader, Staff Sergent Wulburt Huxley. Ander nodded back, then looked up at the diffused red light that shown above both troop doors, waiting. As Ander's mental count reached ten, he felt the gunship shiver beneath his booted feet as the ion cannons fired several full powered shots at the other LAAT. Mere moments later, the red light turned green and the port troop door slid open. The air inside the cabin vanished in a noiseless whoosh as the vacuole was depressurized by the vacuum of space. In front of him, just meters away, Ander saw the other gunship, tendrils of bluish energy crackling silently across its hull. He threw himself forward, leaving the artificial gravity of the bay and crossed the distance between the two vessels in seconds, Huxley and his squad arrayed evenly on either side of him. Ander reached out and pressed the open palm of his hand against the ship's hull, the gauntlet he wore securing him there via a magnetic field. The rest of the squad did likewise, two of them pulling themselves one hand at a time toward's the target vessel's cockpit viewports. Two more commandos scaled the vessel's top and arranging themselves on either side of the port troop door. Ander glanced left and right through the 360ยบ HUD of his helmet to verify Huxley and another commando had similarly placed themselves on either side of the door to which he was secured. The last commando remained behind, clipped to the inside of their own vessel via a life line, his rifle held up to combat any threat that might present itself. Staff Sergent Huxley drew a small breaching charge from utility pouch, pressing it against the gunship's door, where the interior latch system would be located on their own vessel. One of the two commandos on the other side of the gunship did the same.On my mark. Ander muttered over their secure commlink, pulling himself upwards and out of the way of what would be the door's path of movement once it was breached. He reached for a flash grenade and armed it.Three, two...mark. Ander gave the order, and Huxley and his counterpart opposite him keyed the remotes for their breach charges. A spout of smoke and small pieces of debris shot out from the vessel, the smoke suffocated almost instantly by the vacuum of space. Huxley slapped a magnetic palm against the vessel's door and pushed it open just far enough for Ander to toss the flash grenade into the gunship's troop bay. A second flash grenade was thrown into the vessel by a commando on the other side of the ship. Light exploded brilliantly out of the crack in the door, fading quickly as Huxley forced the bay door away from him, opening it. Two commandos pulled themselves through the now open doors on either side of the target gunship, their rifles held as steadily as possible in zero gravity. Ander followed the commando on their side, dropping quickly onto the floor of the gunship's troop bay, his rifle at the ready as gravity took hold of him.Everybody down! He barked through his helmet's vocoder, for all the vessel's occupants to hear. The two commandos still outside the cockpit's viewport revealed themselves, slapping charges against the transparasteel and signaling for the pilots to release the ship's controls. Ander felt Huxley behind him, pulling the gunship's door closed once more. The commandos were ready to handle any threat that might present itself, though Ander hoped the violence of action they'd exhibited and the speed with which they'd boarded the gunship, on top of the detonated flash grenades, would help deter any thought of fighting back by the ship's occupants. Huxley slapped open the release on the hatch that led to the cockpit, shouting orders to the gunship's pilots.Release your restraints and get out of the cockpit, now. I will not say it twice. Huxley snapped, his rifle angled through the small hatchway.Drop all your weapons and sit down on the benches, everybody. Keep your hands in your laps, where we can see them. Ander ordered, looking over the interior of the vessel, his eyes searching each individual within as he waited for their unwilling host's to respond to his demands.

*Korras thoughts were interrupted when her gunship shook violently, almost tossing her to the floor. Regaining her balance she yelled into her comlink.*
-Korra- ::What was that?!::
-Pilot- ::Ion cannon. We've been hit hard, losing power.::
-Korra- ::What? By who?:: *She didn't have to wait long for an answer. The sounds of small explosions greeted her ears. Followed by the sight of two grenades coming in through the troopbay door. Instinctively she shut her eyes and exhaled. Once the grenades went off and the blinding light subsided, she turned and faced what was coming next. Through the door came several armed figures, to well trained and armed to work for the cartels. Mercenaries perhaps. What she did know was that they had the advantage. Unfortunately for her survival, she found it best to comply. Removing all her weapons she placed them on the floor before sitting on the bench. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the pilots doing the same. Her attention then fell on the man in charge.*
::What's the meaning of this? Who are you people?::

Ander watched as a young, human woman tossed her weapons on the deck and sat down on one of the benches lining the sides of the troop bay. The blue eyes that looked up at him were sharp and filled with as much confusion as anger, but in them he also saw resolve. He only hoped it didn't lead to any foolhardy action on her part. The Lord Commander sized the woman up for a moment before responding, the sensors of his helmet matching her facial features to the records he had. She was lithe, but toned, obvious even beneath the armor she wore, which looked made to fit her figure. Her dark brown hair was short cut and hung like a curtain just above her shoulders. Ander narrowed his eyes as he glanced over the rest of the gunship's occupants though his visor's all-around view kept his head seemingly fixed on Sekel. He remained silent, seeming to ignore the woman's demand for an explanation until Huxley and his commandos had secured the surrendered weapons near the forward section of the bay. Only then did he speak, using his helmet's vocoder. Around him, the rest of the commandos stood, looking down at their hostages, the menacing T-shaped visors of their helmets glowing dimly in the dark of the cabin. Their rifles were lowered, but held readily against the breastplates of their armor. My name is Ander Tagira, Lord Commander of the Galactic Security Assistance Force. He introduced himself, his voice tinged with the metallic tones of the vocoder. Regardless of what impression our method of arrival might give you, we're actually here to ask for your help. Ander glanced over at Huxley, and nodded. The Staff Sergent stepped forward and stood closer to the center of the troop bay, then activated the holoprojector on his wristcomp. The image the projector produced was blued and grainy, though was obviously a member of the Hutt species. I understand you work for the Cartels, from time to time. Ander said to Korra. It wasn't a question. We've been gathering intelligence on Hutt strong holds, supply lines, and forces for several months, with the eventual goal of dismantling their operations throughout this portion of the Galaxy. Ander continued. Huxley depressed a key on his wristcomp and the image of the Hutt began to shimmer and change, refocusing as a cutaway of the Mid Rim and nearby Hutt Space, with key planets displayed as pinpoints of light. We have information regarding a series of cache worlds and installations throughout the area, but have been unable to garner the security data we need to infiltrate Hutt bases. What we want is access codes, transponder identities of their vessels, accurate estimates of forces strength, and the identities of their personnel. Working from their low priority worlds towards Hutt Space to draw their forces away from the Y'Toub System, we'll launch an assault on their primary compounds on Nal Hutta and kill the Hutts themselves, while dismantling their remaining forces. Huxley deactivated the holoprojector and stepped back. Ander reached for the seals of his helmet and unlocked them, pulling it from his head and exposing his face. I wanted to find out if you might be willing to assist us in this effort. From what I've been able to gather about you, Miss Sekel, you're no vagrant or criminal. If it's credits you want in exchange for your services, I assure you, we can out-pay the Hutts a hundred-fold. Ander let his words hang at that, his hazel eyes piercing the shroud of darkness that permeated the cabin and focusing on Korra's visage, searching for any hint as to what she might be thinking. He didn't need her help, if he were honest, but it certainly would give Ander and his commandos a sterling advantage over the Hutts when the time finally came to end their revolting lives.

*Korra let the information sink in. It was a lot at one time combined with several emotions at once. After several moments of silence, she spoke.*
"You break into my ship. Hold me and my crew hostage. And ask us to wage a war against the Hutts? Was there no better way of getting a hold of me? Most just contact me via comlink, not crash my ship. Ander Tagira was it?" *She paused for a moment, maybe to long, but the name stuck out. Her mother had mentioned the name Ander once. Korra was told it had a significant meaning to her life. Shaking the thought, she regained her composure.* "I'm not to sure if I'm willing. But...if you can prove that you can pay more, then maybe. Because from what I've heard of this Security Force you have, things have hit a bump in the road lately. Haven't they?" *Out of the corner of her eye, she could see the two pilots stiffen for a moment. Probably not sure if she was trying to help them, or get them killed. Ignoring them, Korra stared Ander straight in the eye. She wasn't the kind to back down easily.*
