*Up from the tortured surface of Malastare rose a modified Vaksai one-man fighter, soaring up to the stars with little struggle. Bristling with weaponry, The Rogue, was the perfect smuggler's escort, which more or less, was exactly what Nathan had become lately. This time, however, he wasn't on an escort mission, a fact that Nathan had a hard time putting behind him.*
"Can't believe I'm following a fracking voice in my head to some cursed jungle planet... What in blue blazes am I thinking. I'm mad. Barking mad. Insane, messed up in the head."
*All of his doubts still prevalent in his mind, Nathan still reluctantly pushed the lever to activate his hyperdrive, course set to Yavin IV.*

"Nina Me? Hmm, nice lady...not enough decent folk making an honest living these days." Zalus mused as he sat cross armed in his pilots seat. He was waiting for his yacht to show. He had some special spices he needed to take back with him. Something he was sure Kolga couldn't be without. He did not want to stay in the sector too long. Or any place too long. He groaned and leaned back, bringing his feet up on the dash. His boots clacked together impatiently. His blastboat was good for what it was, when he had to make long distances. He knew he was late though, and if there was one thing he hated, was being late, for hutts. Two hundred year old hutts alone had no trouble remembering what they swallowed whole for their tenth birthday.
Bored at this point, despite the good day, and the wonderful woman who repaired his ship godly fast, he pulled out a pocket machine. He flipped it open to play "Fauna Crossing" to pass the time. His crew was late, but he at least had a rather good day. He wasn't in such a bad mood, but he was slowly devolving into irritation.
"Can't believe this, froggy barfblat wants me to paint on his face," He rolled his eyes as he played the game.
A cruiser came out of hyperspace, his Yacht appeared, and he closed the game up, shoving it into his pocket, "Finally those clowns show up..."
He fired up the engines as four more ships dropped out of hyperspace, "Followed by, someone elses clowns, hate clowns!"
He kicked it into high gear accelerating the blastboat on a course for the hangar, "Lower the hangar door and let me land, I'll take care of these asshats."
::Yes sir, lowering the hangar-:: the pilot answered only to be cut off.
"You know what, screw it, these guys are flying farken Twat wings! I'm taking them out myself," His hands flew across a console and activated the weapons systems. He pitched up to lock onto and engage the four T-Wings that came out of hyperspace. He was now mad at his crew for being sloppy, and mad at the Twings for delaying his arrival to Kolga further. He had no idea the affiliation of the crappy vessels, nor did he particularly care. The blastboat was a boat of a ship, but it would be more than capable of taking out the Twings. He pitched right and locked onto all four of them.
"See you in hell," He grinned maliciously, and pushed the buttons on the control stick, letting his payload fly. The missiles made their targets, and blasted the four ships apart. He rubbed his brow and looked to his yacht.
"I'm coming in, open the hangar," He pitched left, and swept the ship around to face the hangar door of his yacht. He slowed down the vessel and made his way into the hangar. He landed swiftly, and made his way out of the blastboat to the bridge. He walked past his N1 Starfighter and saluted it with a click of his tongue. It was as if he was apologizing for using the blastboat instead to blow up the ships. He had a small crew, enough to pilot the vessel with four people and place all the other systems onto automated circuits and programs. He hated stupid people, he also hated people who bored him in the skirmishes he got into. He was a tough fighter, and practical.
He entered the bridge and the four members stood up and saluted, "Marvelous, you're all right where I left you, remember when I said we're in a perpetual state of recruiting?"
He whipped out his nine millimeter slug thrower and blasted the pilot against the dash. He holstered the weapon and sighed, "It's a thing."
Zalus smiled and waved to the remainder of the crew as he walked up to the pilot's chair and pulled the dead crew member off the dash, "Remember, don't let other's stupidity ruin your day. Let's get our things to Kolga."
He sat down in the pilot's seat as the crew members dragged off their punished mate. He set in a course for Nar Shadda and the ship exited the system.
"Just not a lot of decent folk making an honest living, hopefully we'll meet again Ni'na," He said under his breath as the deep blue of hyperspace took over the void of space.

A Banking Clan frigate, emblazoned with Separatist markings fell out of hyperspace, where it found no resistance, and swiftly landed its field army.

After his ships were properly refitted, his droids given the maintenance they needed, and his organic crew was given the colors of the Grand Confederacy on their uniforms, Admiral Faal Tonith exited hyperspace, with his fleet, over the planet of Malastare. Sensors detected the fuel depots in orbit, awaiting the arrival of the GC's Fifth Fleet as arranged. No deployments were made, save a few squadrons of droid fighters in order to patrol. The ships moved towards the fuel depots, coming alongside to begin their refueling for the journey to Bothuwai.

With the fall of the Grand Confederacy, Malastare was left adrift, its system went into neutrality as the galaxy fell into chaos. However, peace did not come to Malastare as political divisions rose among the Dug populace. In the end, there was a striking division between two major rivals that would turn the capital city into a battleground for control of the planet and the sector. Led by General Ixsan, the Striar League was formed from the factions, within the planetary government, that called for greater centrist control and a greater degree of military authority. Their challenge for power fell apart due to the strong front presented by the Populist Council, led by Doge Ulga, son of the last elected leader of the Malastrian Council. When the Broken Diet, as it came to be known, happened and ensured the Striar League's attempts at political control failed, the League broke away and soon war followed.
The League and Council have fought for several years now, with the capital of Pixelito changing hands numerous times. The war was becoming a grinding conflict of attrition as scores of vehicles and soldiers gained little land from attacking each other. Their small fleets skirmished every now and then, but not enough to be a total victory for either side. The Striar League was confident in their ability to win, but the Populist Council feared what could potentially happen. As a result, Doge Ulga, serving his newly elected term, contacted the Corellian Coalition for assistance. In exchange for wartime aid and relief efforts after the planet was reunited, Malastare would agree to join the Coalition as a member. Once negotiations were concluded, High Command dispatched the Third Fleet, commanded by Admiral Gates, to assist the Council in their fight to ensure Malastare was a free world.

Days after the beginning of the Seventh Battle of Pixelito
From the depths of hyperspace, the Coalition Third Fleet exits, just behind the Populist Council's rearguard. Admiral Gates proceeds to contact the commanding officer of the Council's navy. After a quick flurry of communications, that brought the Third Fleet to understanding the situation, Admiral Gates commenced the intervention by the Coalition's armed forces. The ships of the fleet, led by the Ackbar, made best speed to join the ongoing battle. Their rested and trained presence becoming obvious as they joined the central flank and began the counteroffensive that day.

The arrival of the Coalition's Third Fleet had swung the tide of this civil war into the favor of the Populist Council. The League's naval forces were smashed by the better disciplined and more powerful warships of the Coalition allies. With mop up operations left to the Council's fleet, Admiral Braganti Gates began land operations to liberate the capital. A force of 15,000 Coalition soldiers, commanded by Marshal Commander Leo, were to land and begin securing the capital. With the enemy's naval forces defeated, Admiral Gates believed the planet was close to being liberated. Even now, his communication officers received word of the Populists going on the offensive upon the planet's surface. With this news, Coalition troops and armor was sent to the surface.

With the wounds of the Malestare Civil War still not yet fully healed, the Coalition Navy had ensured it kept a reasonable presence above the planet in case hostilities were to reignite. The small fleet left behind to support peacekeeping operations and, if need be, planetary defence was under the command of Vice Admiral Fain Therdish from the Kursak, a Nebula Class Star Destroyer which was supported by a Starmane Class Siege Cruiser, a Quasar carrier, a Ranger class gunship and a DP20 frigate.
