The following considerations have been added to the Planetary Defense Allowances of the Natural Laws:
These rules have been added to promote realism in planetary defense, and to provide guidance for how to defend some of the galaxy's more exotic locations.

The following considerations have been added to the Planetary Defense Allowances of the Natural Laws:
- Planets with no canon indigenous population have no ability to raise and support a planetary defense force, so they do not receive a ground force allotment. However, they can still receive allotments for ground-based stationary defenses and orbital defenses.
- Planets that contain no livable land space (such as gas giants and wholly molten planets) do not receive allotments for ground-based stationary defenses. However they still receive allotments for orbital defenses.
- Planets that match both the above categories only receive the orbital defenses allotment.
