*Darth Umar moved along with Darth Malvus, and nodded his head in agreement as the Sith spoke.*I appreciate your thoughts on the matter, Lord Malvus, but to be frank, at the time I killed him it was out of nothing, but pure rage. Rage from being deceived, rage at being manipulated, and most importantly, rage from being held back from true knowledge and power. Only later did I realize, I had done the dark side as a whole a favor by ending that rot. The dark side of the force will not ignore a cancer such as, "darth" Craven, and that day i was it's purging scalpel. *Darth Umar, chose his next words carefully, to see how the Dark Lord would react.*If my understanding is correct, Darth Bane was also strengthening the dark side with his rule of two. One Master and one apprentice facing off at the climax of their relationship, was a way to insure only the most powerful would go on to teach the next generation. While I believe in Lord Bane's ideals and thoughts on the matter. I also believe the users of the dark side must evolve with the times as well. May I ask, how many learners do you allow per master? The Blackguard stands for the Rule of Unity, Darth Umar. A philosophy that mirrors an older concept, the Rule of the Strong. All practitioners of the Dark Side must be united in order for us to be strong and thrive. That there must be order and discipline, and that evolution is necessary for our vision to be made reality. For the philosophies of old are too archaic and we must cast them aside in order to truly be strong once more!Malvus had had long discussions with Lord Savage over the philosophy that was slowly beginning to dominate the fabric of the Blackguard. There were made codes for the Sith, but they were truly too archaic for usage. The Rule of One had failed, the Rule of Two was no longer being respected, and thus a necessary evolution was needed to ensure strength and unity among the followers of the Dark Side.On the matter of apprentices, some of us follow the standard set down by Darth Bane, but others do not. At present, I have a promising disciple, Darth Luxeria, who has even gotten recognition by the Sith'ari himself. Lord Savage, our leader, has had two apprentices at once, Lord Xakire and Lady Vasari, also promising apprentices for the future generation of Dark Side users we are educating here. It all depends on the capabilities of those who are recognized and ranked as masters within the Blackguard.A very controlled community of masters there were, Malvus did not mention for now. Lord Savage did not desire too many masters, else they would breed plots and schemes. Making them threats to the Rule of Unity. Viox desired different ideals and too many powerful masters would only cause problems, unnecessary ones. Malvus was only accepted due to his major contributions to the formation of the Blackguard, by giving them new systems and a new swatches of territory in the Outer Rim to explore and conquer.

Could i challenge you for your title? Or The Sith'ari himself? Does leadership change through victory and defeat? The seeking and understanding of knowledge ensure you have advantages, Lord Umar. There is nothing wrong with trying to understand in order to better integrate yourself and to be aware of what it is you desire to join.Malvus had not been as inquisitive when he merged his One Sith with the Blackguard Reborn. But, then again, the Sith Lord believed that Viox was much better equipped in ensuring a new era for the Sith and all Dark Side followers. He did not feel he had failed in the end, but joined a higher purpose and greater cause.Defeated Masters may still have their purpose. Though one may be defeated in combat, it does not prove anything of the winner beyond their martial capabilities. After all, to defeat a master proves one's abilities, it does not prove their usefulness to the Sith'ari to replace that master. The master, though defeated, may be of use still given their own abilities, beyond their martial skill. After all, Masters are elevated by their merit, not their blood path. There are other ways to defeat someone, but it all comes back to our leader... is the winner more valued than the defeated? Is the defeated still of worth?Strange to speak those words to someone. A merit-based system over that of wantonly killing ones way to the top. Yet it would ensure that those who served as Masters were not only proven individuals but ones capable in many fields. One who challenges a master, suited for commanding armies, may not be a great commander themselves. Thus the Sith'ari may not approve of their elevation.
Malvus stops for a moment to gesture to himself. You could, indeed, challenge me for my title. Yet, there are obstacles in your way that would certainly prevent you from gaining my office. For one, I once led a large Sith organization that merged with the Blackguard. Granting it new systems, vast resources and vital manpower to the growing ambitions of the Sith'ari. Second, I am one of the few that truly understands Lord Savage, his ambitions, and his will. Though dangerous knowledge is in my hands, I still have that trust. And lastly, I am one of the few that has that total trust. The Sith then points at Darth Umar.Factors will determine one's worth beyond their ability to wield a lightsaber and utilize force techniques. And that is what the Sith'ari truly examines; loyalty, dedication, other capabilities and strengths.Yet, there was more to discuss. To advance in rank in the Blackguard, you must prove your worth and value beyond what is expected. Beyond the simple slash of our enemies and the death of our foes. The Sith'ari has many eyes who watch for those of great potential. Those worthy will certainly find themselves in positions and rank that best suit them. Others may be given this freely, but some will have to prove their worth.Just like his apprentice, Luxeria, who would one day challenge him to combat. If she defeated him, she would become a full-fledged Sith without question. And yet, if she did not defeat him, Malvus felt that Lord Savage would still elevate her due to her long known and proven worth.

*Darth Umar pondered over the Dark Lords words for a moment before speaking.*
By your own words, my lord, it sounds like the Sith'ari is the sole decider in most matters. I whole heartily agree that democracy is a joke, merely a way to give the weak a warm fuzzy feeling that they matter in decisions of the strong, but no one is infallible. Can the Sith'ari's decisions be discussed or are they immediately law?
*The red headed dark sider felt he may be getting to close to crossing a line when speaking about Sith'ari. Unfortunately Darth Umar's hunger for knowledge and understanding would not let him let up.*
And if the Sith'ari is the soul decider of usefulness and promotion, can this not lead to favoritism? Will one be chosen over another of greater worth because of how much the Sith'ari likes them? I will let you know Lord Malvus,I and the force have decided this is where I supposed to be. This is where I can strengthen the darkside the most, but as you see I question probably more than I should, and I have a tendency to speak my mind on a subject, no matter whose decision or plan it was, or wether my opinion will be liked. Some beings see this an unfavorable quality. My point being that, I may not be the most liked person in the Black guard.
*Darth Umar pressed his point a bit more.*
I believe I can be a great asset to you and the Sith'ari, but part of my worth will be to question or play devil's advocate. Is this something that is tolerated in the Blackguard.?

I believe I can be a great asset to you and the Sith'ari, but part of my worth will be to question or play devil's advocate. Is this something that is tolerated in the Blackguard.? I can assure you that my Lord Savage is not at all a man who falls to favoritism nor sycophants. He is a man who can decipher merit and slothfulness. A leader who knows how to properly use his manpower and his officers. I know that if a man tries to deceive him, and pretend his worth, the Sith'ari will not hesitate in striking him down... as we have struck down the cancers in the Dark Side.Pzob, Alzoc III, Kesh, Dromund Kaas, Ziost, Mustafar and so much more... the many targets of the defunct One Sith and present Blackguard that sought to purify their ranks and society. To ensure only the strong ruled and the weak were extinguished. Those who pretended to be Sith or anything else of the Dark Side were killed without hesitation. Lord Savage was a man with a great vision and a broaview of the greater picture. A man who would not fall to favoritism.
With those words said, Malvus would turn fully to look at Darth Umar.Your words, actions and ambitions make you truly worthy, Darth Umar. As Jen'ari of the Blackguard, I hereby name you as a Marauder among our ranks. Ensure the will of our Sith'ari is felt across the galaxy and that your blade kills his enemies and that of the Blackguard.

*Darth Umar accepted and was satisfied with Darth Malvus' words on the Sith'ari and favoritism. The Blackguard was changing the way followers of the dark side behaved, but at it's core it was truly a pure vessel for the path of the dark side. Umar would be more than happy to carve away the cancerous pretender rot still hiding in the galaxy. This was the path the dark side had chosen for him, and he eagerly followed it's guidance. He would make the dark side of the force pure and strong through the Blackguard, and if any within it's ranks proved to be part of the rot... well Darth Umar would joyfully carve them out as well, no matter what. With Darth Malvus' last words, the newly appointed Marauder dropped to his knee.*
I am honored, Lord Malvus. I will fulfill duties in this role, and I will strive to help raise the Blackguard to it's highest limits.
*Darth Umar paused for a moment then asked yet another question.*
What will you have me do, my lord?

None right now, Lord Umar. For now, become acquainted with our facilities here and on Mustafar.
With the growing business of the Blackguard, Umar would eventually be needed. For now, he needed to settle into his role and await further instructions.
In due time though, your blade will be needed.

Ifrit walked on to the bridge of the newly minted Imperious-class Star Destroyer - known as the Lusinia - as it hung in orbit above Iridonia. He was flanked by Banríon and Zyara, the two commanders of his personal armed forces. Meanwhile Tasradan trailed behind the group, watching for any threats. Ifrit came to a stop as he surveyed the crews moving to and fro as they prepared the ship for its maiden voyage. The Captain of the Lusinia tentatively strolled across the bridge then.
Ifrit focused his attention upon the man as the Captain came closer. Noting his Blackguard navy uniform and false confidence, which seemed to melt as he approached the Master Spellbinder. Ifrit turned toward the viewport, pretending to look away from the man, in hopes the Captain would get his orders and leave him alone Prepare the ship to jump to hyperspace, Lord Savage will have need of this ships firepower to make his escape... Make sure it gets done Captain... The Captain gave a swift nod before returning to preparing the ship for launch. Ifrit moved toward the front of the bridge, while his entourage took positions at the back of the bridge. Ready to take action at a moments notice.

Emerging from hyperspace above the Zabrak homeworld, the small group of ships, consisting of two Eliall-Class Cargo Barges and four DP20 Frigates, hailed traffic control, requesting permission to land to collect their shipment of yarrock.

The orbital FireStar Class Defense Platform, Genesis, answered the hail of the Hutt ships.
Cargo Barges are cleared for landing at Starport Velecta in Maladris. Escorts must remain in orbit.
Short, sweet and too the point. It wasn't that the Blackguard didn't trust the Hutt Cartel, but having the armed escort heading to the surface as well, especially in Blackguard territory, was unnecessary. Anyone stupid enough to attempt to jack two cargo barges owned by the Hutt Cartel, hauling product owned by the Blackguard this deep into Blackguard territory was dead before the even realized it. If the Blackguard didn't managed to catch them, the Hutt Cartel would. Both options were equally unpleasant too, so theft of Blackguard materials was generally avoided.

Emerging from hyperspace, the final of the four Imperious-Class Star Destroyers had finally arrived over Iridonia. Presently, the Paarchero was missing it's commanding officer, however that wasn't going to be an issue for what the Sith'ari had in mind for the ship. The Retribution, a TIE Silencer, procured from the First Order due to his Grand Moff status, arched over the hull of the ship and made it's way to the hangar. Once inside, Viox landed the ship and disembarked. Removing his helmet and placing it under his left arm, dressed in a pilot's jumpsuit, the Sith'ari made his way to the bridge of the ship. Until it's task was finished, he was going to be the temporary CO. Upon reaching the bridge, a staff member relieved him of his helmet. Turning to the Comms Officer, he spoke."Lord Malvus and Lord Znalost. Summon them here."Nodding, the officer carried out her orders. This is the Paarchero hailing Darth Malvus and @supremeleader on priority red. The Sith'ari requests your presence immediately. As the comm was sent out, Savage left the bridge and went to his personal quarters to don something more fitting. Removing his flightsuit, the Sith donned his usual garb, black robes and a tunic. Once that was finished, the Sith returned to the bridge to await the arrival of Malvus and Znalost.

A shuttle from his Laboratory brought Znalost, his two Imperial Sentinels as well as his battalion of Cybernetically enhanced Wortan Zombies, now known as Cerberus Battalion . Doctor Vellek had also arrived to monitor the data on Cerberus Battalion, he was interested in the potential field data. Once the shuttle had docked with Paarchero, Znalost exited with his Imperial Sentinels. Velleck also exited the shuttle with Cerberus Battalion. Znalost turned to face his faithful Doctor, who was just as crazy as he was. With his machine sounding voice due to his cybernetic mask he spoke to Vellek.
"Doctor, stay here with Cerberus. I'll make my way to the Sith'ari. I've been summoned after all."
Znalost could help but chuckle as he finished speaking to Doctor Vellek. The good doctor nodded without speaking and began to focus on Cerberus, he was attaching a device that would allow him to monitor them while they were in the field. Znalost began to walk over to a turbolift with his Imperial Sentinels following behind him. The turbolift would take them to a hallway that led to the bridge, there the Sith'ari would be waiting for me and his second the Jen'ari. Znalost wondored what kind of man the Jen'ari was as he himself had never meet him, for Znalost was too busy creating Cerberus. As the turbolift reached its destination, Znalost and his two Imperial Sentinels made their way to the bridge. Once on the bridge Znalost and the sentinels approached the Sith'ari and kneeled before their dark master.
"I am ready to serve, as are they."
With that being said Znalost stayed kneeling on the floor of the bridge until Viox acknowledge his presence and gave him his permission to stand.

Malvus got the message almost immediately when his comm went off. The Sith was somewhat irritated that his meditation had been interrupted, but when the comms officer indicated the priority, that initial feeling was washed over. A priority red? The Jen'ari wondered what this could be about, especially since it involved Lord Znalost as well. Without any further delay, the Sith departs his chambers on the planetside and heads into space, landing his vessel in the hangar bay of the Imperious-class Star Destroyer.
Malvus arrived shortly after Znalost, subtly coming in from the side of the bridge in order to not give much attention to himself. When Lord Savage noticed his appearance though, the Sith bows his head slightly before returning his posture to its standing position.

Raising an eye at Znalost's entourage, he dismissed it for the time being.
"Excellent. Your timely arrival is fortuitous. Helm, take us to these co-ordinates."
The Zabrak passed off a data-chip to the navigation suite. As he turned to face the central viewport, he spoke.
"Znalost, this is a test for you. You have been busy, lately, in Wortan. I commend your efforts, however, you have missed several assignments. Your duty to the Blackguard is weaning. Malvus, as my second, are here to evaluate him. I believe you will be familiar with where we are heading..."
And the Paarchero then jumped away from Iridonia, heading to Ziost.

Exiting hyperspace, a lone light freighter hovered above the Zabrak home planet. Within, a single pilot stared out over Iridonia with a critical eye. There were a string of other planets she could go, but there was something on this one that intrigued the woman far more than any of the others. With her primary mission at a stalemate, she found it much more beneficial to seek out allies… or as close to an ally as she might consider. The enemy of her enemy was her ally, at the very least.
Two planets played about in her mind; two she could've sought out. While she would’ve preferred the other, this one wasn’t nearly as far out of the way, and every bit of fuel she could conserve would be necessary, if this didn’t go according to plan.
Picking up the comlink, Mariah readied the transmission. This is the Void to Control Tower. Requesting clearance to planet surface.
Setting down the comlink to await their response, Mariah took in a slow breath. A short and simple security clearance request. Coming from a strange ship that had never entered their orbit before, she braced herself for a barrage of questions, and she was prepared to give all the answers they requested. No more, no less.
Sinking back into her chair, Mariah awaited further orders.

This is the Void to Control Tower. Requesting clearance to planet surface. A shadow fell across XS stock light freighter as the wedge-shape of a Harrower-class Dreadnought floated over the small vessel. It continued to drift by silently until a scan was detected from the vessel. The presence of this vessel was an indicator to who the visitor would likely be speaking with soon enough. Twin Mark VI Supremacy-class Starfighters screeched by and began circling the vessel as the warship did its scan. Plaguebearer, the name given to the Harrower, finished its scan within a few short minutes. With the ending of the scan, Mariah's comlink came online as a transmission responded to her hail. This is Captain Merdoc, commander of the Plaguebearer. My master, the Jen'ari, has approved of your request for clearance. Your ship is permitted to land at the Sith Academy's hangar bay on the surface. These fighters will escort you to your designation. The starfighters screeched by once before changing their trajectory and lining themselves on the flank of the freighter.

Mariah’s crimson gaze broke from the planet as the shroud of the Dreadnought overwhelmed her small craft. Her eyes flickering up, she cocked her head curiously at the attention she inadvertently drew to herself. Her systems flared up with a warning of the scan, and with it, the woman shifted her jaw.
“Tight security,” she murmured to herself.
In the ominous silence of the scan, the woman tilted her head back, closed her eyes, and simply waited. She paid no extra ounce of concern over the fighters that circled her ship. The scan, she knew, would reveal nothing of importance. She was no one of importance. Once the scan was complete, though, she was still met with a surprise: There were no questions. They gave her clearance to land at the Sith Academy, her place of interest. Were they expecting her? The thought sent a ping through the woman’s mind, but with a shrug of her shoulders and a deep exhale, she turned back to her comlink to offer a simple response to the Captain’s commands.
Copy that.
With the starfighters now aligned on her flank and ready to escort her, she took back the controls and began her steady descent to the surface and towards the Sith Academy.

Above the blood red world of Iridonia, a Chiss Star Destroyer emerged from hyperspace, battered, and evidently having recently taken part in a battle due to the heavy damage that had been incurred to the vessel. The stealth plating had been all but destroyed, the cloak had been rendered unusable, and a good four-fifths of the masers aboard were destroyed. This had evidently been a tactical retreat from whatever ills had befallen the commander of the ship, Vlusu’Heas’Cauro. The bridge was in chaos as soldiers and officers ran back and forth, fires were being extinguished, and orders were being relayed throughout the ship in an effort to control the damage that had been caused. Damage that was clearly spiralling out of control. The Chiss engineering in the vessel would only slow down the demise of the vessel, it was up to the crew to save the ship. None of the Blackguard vessels in orbit fired upon him, and Vlusu was thankful for that. Had there been any First Order vessels in orbit, they would have surely fired upon the ship, utterly destroying it once and for all. He personally got on communications with the AI controlling the planet’s orbit. This is Chiss Vessel Star of Csilla requesting an audience with Sith’ari Viox Savage and immediate assistance.

At present, the Sith'ari himself was currently indisposed. But the A.I, currently housed within the Obelisk, still monitored the goings-on of the Sith'ari's home world. Star of Csilla was identified as a friendly vessel. Given the state of the vessel as it approached, two squads of fighters were launched from the FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform, Genesis. Recovery craft and tugs were also launched. Assuming control of the situation in the A.I replied.
Star of Csilla, this is Iridonian Traffic Control. Aid is being rendered and permission to meet with the Sith'ari has been granted. Coordinates and a flight plan is being uploaded now.
It wasn't much, but the Blackguard helped their allies. And if the Chiss Star Destroyer was indeed carrying the individual the A.I suspected, then it would be well worth the Sith'ari to hear the man out. Soon all would be revealed.
