As groups of soldiers ran throughout the ship, and the occasional explosion shook the stricken vessel, Vlusu and a small group of staff made their way to the shuttle bay. The majority of the ships had been destroyed in the firefight they had just escaped from, and the Chiss ship had made quite a few jumps to dodge the First Order, and make sure no efforts made to pin them down were successful. Despite the chaos and destruction surrounding them, Vlusu's pure white uniform and cloak were completely untouched, save for a few scorches on the end, that still glowed with the remnants of the flames that had struck it. Making his way onto the shuttle, they pulled away before a piece of debris falling from the roof of the hangar crushed the one Clawcraft that was going to be escorting them. Pulling away quickly, it set off past the various tugs pulling the vessel in for repairs towards the Obelisk.

Rising from the planet's surface, Gavin's YT-1930 traveled on its path, seeking to break away from Iridonia's gravity well. Gazing from left to right, Gavin took note of the ships in orbit, both ships of the Blackguard and those of allies waiting in orbit. It had become quite an order, filled with powerful allies. It was impressive, to say the least. While he might not have fully seen this place as home, he had no regrets coming here and agreeing to teach its students.
Turning his attention forward, he increased the speed of his ship as he sought to break free from the planet. Turning to his console, he began working to load the coordinates for Mustafar. Once loaded and free of gravity, Gavin punched it and launched forward into hyperspace.

Emerging from the depth’s of hyperspace, Gavin’s YT-1930 made its return trip home. It had only been two weeks but seeing the sight of Iridonia before him made him sigh with relief. It was his home now, though he expected it was less because he was home and more involving his students. He had come to appreciate his role, remembering how it felt to be a teacher over a group. And with the breakthrough they made a few weeks prior, his enjoyment for his job was quickly settling in.
Taking a deep breath followed by smiling sigh, he passed along his landing clearance to orbital control before progressing on to the academy below.

An XS stock light freighter entered Iridonia's orbit, and with it, the hypnotic swirling void of hyperspace dissipated, fading away to the glimmers of stars to dot the sky once more. Within the vessel, its sole passenger readied herself for the necessary formalities to orbital control. Mariah hoped that only a quick and simple clearance would be needed this time. She had been among the Blackguard now for several months now, studying on Sullust under Master Ifrit Bladeweaver. Amusingly enough, she still didn't know what they considered her among their ranks. An ally, a student, or one of their own warriors. It didn't matter to her what that might've been, only that she and her ship were numbers somewhere in their database.
In a matter of moments, she received the clearance she sought. It wasn't nearly the amount of attention she had received before, but thankfully so. With a slow, steady exhale, Mariah began her descent towards the Sith Academy.

Almost an unnoticed sight due to its reflective black hull, Luxeria's Baudo-class Star Yacht emerged from hyperspace and made a quick path towards the planet that appeared before her. It had been over a year since she had last set foot upon Iridonia, the last time being their return from the Blackguard raid on Felucia. Now that she once again had her own ship and all else had been handled, she was once again able to travel the stars by her own choice and time. And for some reason, she had a desire to return her, though she had spent very little of her time and training upon the world. Perhaps it was to visit old friends, the only one really being Gavin. Maybe that was all it came down to, seeing the man who had recently given her deeper training during the time of transition from apprentice to full-fledged warrior among the Sith. She wanted him to see how far she had come with the lessons he gave her, not to mention, maybe learn a bit about the other students he had.
As they got close, she knew they were in range to be scanned and hailed. Turning her head to the left, she spoke out at nothing. "Satele, transmit our transponder and landing codes to the fleet."
Suddenly, a light blue orb with a magenta ring appeared from a hologram display, the ring fluctuating as it spoke in a smooth, yet synthetic female voice.
::Sending landing codes now.:: It was but a few moments of silence before Satele responded again. ::Clearance to land at the Sith Academy has been approved, Luxeria.::
Luxeria gave a smirk and a nod as she pushed the ship foward, heading into the planet's atmosphere.

Having finally tracked down the location of the supposed Sith academy of the Blackguard Reborn, Leraxsyn's ship, a dirt ridden grey Corellian JumpMaster, finally came out of hyperspace and into Iridonia's orbit. As he gazed at the planet, Leraxsyn could feel the strong presence of the dark side, and it sent a shiver down his spine, but formed a hint of smile to his pursed lips. He let out a deep sigh, cracked his knuckles and proceeded to request landing permission.
"This is Leraxsyn Keiko-sho, requesting permission to land at the Sith Acdemy. I would like to speak with a Representative about joining your Academy."
He sat back, took a heavy breath in as he waited for a response and closed his eyes.

A response came swiftly, from the orbiting FireStar Class Orbital Defense Platform, Genesis.
Leraxsyn Keiko-sho, this is Iridonian Traffic Controller TC-033. You have been assigned an approach vector to the Sith Academy and the proper officials have been notified of your intent. Welcome to Iridonia and enjoy your stay.
Once the transmission was over, a data packet containing the flight path and landing coordinates was sent to Leraxsyn's ship.

Vallius' Imperial Star Destroyer fought and led hard battle against two Harrowers, while his group fleet dismantled the resistance put up by the loyalists. They had remained in control of two Golan battlestations, but they were heavily outgunned, since Vallius' fleet had taken the defenses aback and many among the fleet were disaffected by Viox's inaction and idleness. Quite a few more were uneasy with the increasingly higher animosity against the First Order. Thus, when the prince proclaimed his bid for the throne on the surface scores of naval officers bended the knee swiftly. The army was solidly loyal to his father, but the Navy was something else entirely. Their ships had now joined the fray and were fighting whoever remained in orbit. Disabled ships laid on the emptyness of space, surrounded by debris and the broken carcasses of destroyed starfighters. The prince had brought a powerful fleet and the gravity well on board the Pelleaon-class prevented the enemies from jumping into hyperspace. Soon fell to the planet's surface the broken ships' remains engulfed in flames, like falling stars. The space was Vallius', hailed as lord of Iridonia. The surface remained undecided, but now they could strike from space as they pleased.

Space boiled and frothed as three warships exited hyperspace over Iridonia. Leading the formation, flanking the center vessel on its port and starboard sides, were a Reave-Class Picket Cruiser and a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser. The center ship was an Exar-Class Star Destroyer. Standing on the bridge of the central ship, was Venom Starkiller. Several months had passed since the Starkiller had been seen above the worlds. Its defenses had long since been repaired, though there was no sign of Vallius' fleet. A disappointment, certainly, but they were still here and it was time to enact the Empress's will...
The lone FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform sat in geosynchronous orbit over Malidris, but the seventy-two Imperial Defense Satellites were still arrayed defensively, restricting surface access. Those would prove to be somewhat problematic for the three ships, but that wasn't an issue for the time being."Rear Admiral Lee, focus the Starkiller's efforts on the FireStar. Have Brotherhood and Enigma clear a lane through the closest defense satellites."As the Rear Admiral carried out his orders, the Starkiller sped up and opened fire upon the lone defense platform. As the battle began and the enemy focused its efforts on the Imperium vessels, Venom issued order to the Sith Knights."Knight-Commander Klassen, your team is cleared for deployment. Head for the Dark Diamond Palace and secure it. Once we have a secure LZ, I will begin landing our troops."Turbolasers lanced back and forth between the Starkiller and the orbiting FireStar. As enemy fighters began to launch, so too, did the Exar launch its own.

Starkiller Hangar Bay Nine Sith Knight Interceptors exited the hangar bay of the Exar-Class Star Destroyer the moment they were cleared to do so."Understood, Lord Wraak. I will contact you again once the Palace is secured. Klassen out."The Knight-Commander gripped the yoke and throttled out of the hangar, following the other eight interceptors. As soon as they were cleared from the Starkiller's shield envelope, their stealth systems were engaged and the interceptors streaked through the battleground towards Iridonia, and the heretical Sith forces below...

Iridonia High Orbit - Imperium Exar-Class Star Destroyer: Starkiller
While formidable, the lone FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform was unable to deter the arriving Imperium forces. Now hanging in space, several hundred meters off the station's port, the Starkiller had deployed starfighters to patrol and shuttles to capture the station. Boarding teams had routed the station's garrison, while the command and control deck had surrendered. With the capture of the command deck, all other defenses above Iridonia had been ordered to stand down and were now controlled by the Blackguard. The Brotherhood and Enigma were returning from their assigned tasks upon the successful capture of the orbital platform. With the securing of orbital assets, the Starkiller moved away from the station and down towards Iridonia, prepared to occupy the skies above Malidris...

Iridonia High Orbit - Imperium Sith Hollow-Class Eclipse Dreadnought: Dark Ascension
While Iridonia had been relatively simple to placate for the time being, due to the swiftness of the Blackguard Imperium's strike against the capital, whether or not it would remain mostly under the control of the Imperium remained to be seen. And with both the Emperor and his Empress intending to visit Iridonia, the need for superior firepower and manpower respectively, was required. The Dark Ascension exited hyperspace above Iridonia and settled into position in high orbit, well away from the defending FireStar-Class Orbital Defense Platform as well as the patrolling ships, Brotherhood and Enigma. Within minutes of the ship's arrival, fighter patrols were launched as were several shuttles and their fighter escorts. The shuttles and fighter escorts made their way down to Malidris...

The arrival of the Dark Ascension had been unexpected, but welcomed just the same. Even though Iridonian space was firmly in the grasp of the Imperium, there was no telling what resources Vallius and his ilk had available to them. Which meant they could return at any moment and launch a counter attack. And while the two ships in orbit and the FireStar would defend Iridonia to the last, the sight of the Ascension would be enough to deter all but the most stubborn of attackers. Combat Air Patrols continued as the battle down in Malidris continued to rage on.

Iridonia Hight Orbit - Imperium Sith Hollow-Class Eclipse Dreadnought: Dark Ascension
Within the span of ten minutes from the time the Sith'ari had verbally issued orders for the Sith Knights as well as all of the Ascension's ground forces that had been deployed to the surface, they were firmly back on the ship. Everything was being secured for transport. And as the ship maneuvered itself out of Iridonia's orbit, the Sith'ari made his way to the bridge. Arriving, the strode the length of the concert hall sized bridge in the span of a minute.
"Admiral Kilran. Set course for Kamino. Inform both Admiral Wraith and Vice Admiral Vincent that I require their presence as well. I want Kamino's defenses obliterated and all planetary defenses crushed, if they do not submit to my will. A message must be sent. And I will be the one to send it."
"Understood, mi'lord. I will have both Wraith and Vincent informed and have them rendezvous with us over Kamino. We will send your message, sire. There are few out there that can resist our might."
Smirking, the Zabrak agreed.
"Indeed there isn't. The Coalition, Jedi Order or Jedi Lords wouldn't be able to stand against the full weight of our military and Navy. And neither could Malvus and his ilk. He knows as much. Hence why he has left us alone. He claims to be progressing the Sith against our traditional enemies, yet what he fails to see is that everyone is our enemy. Jedi, Imperials, Republics, rebels and dissidents. Even misguided Sith. They are all our enemies. We serve no one. Everyone serves us. There is a reason we were meant to be the masters of the galaxy. Because we don't lie to ourselves about our power or potential. We slay our foes. We slay the weak. And we grow stronger for it..."
The resurrection was like waking from a deep slumber. A slumber in which he had become complacent and inactive. Stagnant. But this was no longer the case. No. Until he had effectively culled the herd, the Imperium would follow and obey. Those that did not would be culled like all the rest. Moving to the main viewport, the Sith'ari clasped his hands behind his back and merely allowed the Force to wash over him, as the ship cleared Iridonia's naturally formed gravity well and jumped to hyperspace.

Iridonia High Orbit - Imperium Exar-Class Star Destroyer: StarkillerThe Sith'ari and the Empress had since left Iridonia. The Sith Knights and ground forces that had arrived with the Ascension had also cleared out, leaving Venom's forces in control of the Dark Diamond Palace and the immediate surroundings. Controlling Maladris as a whole, on the other hand, wasn't as easy with the lack of manpower. But for now, the Blackguard retained control of Iridonia. Or rather Clan Starkiller did. While Venom did support the Imperium, more specifically the Sith'ari, he wasn't officially concerned with their ultimate endgame. Viox was going to do whatever it was that he wanted to do. With or with out him and his brother. And honestly, he wasn't all that broken up over it. The Blackguard had made good on its promise of reinstating Clan Starkiller and allocating enough forces to allow the Clan to hold its own, should the need arise. But with the Imperium shifting and taking on a new form, Venom felt as though his and his brother's time of being in the Imperium's service was coming to a close. Standing in a conference room several decks below the bridge of the ship, Venom was discussing his plans with his brother, Darth Verenhimo, who was still over Utapau, as he had been ordered to be."The Sith'ari is back up to full strength. There is no doubt about it. He transferred his essence into a cloned body beneath the Dark Diamond Palace....damn near collapsed the entire underground lab in the process...but that's not the point of this discussion."Valafar wasn't the most cunning of Sith out there, but his brutality was certainly impressive. As was his devotion to the Clan and his loyalty to Venom personally. And that's what Venom was counting on at this very moment. Truthfully, he had already decided in which direction to proceed. However, if he were to be successful, he needed his brother on board too."We are faced with a unique situation. The majority of Vallius' loyalists have been defeated on Iridonia. And while the Blackguard is officially withdrawing and abandoning the world, I still retain control of the Dark Diamond Palace...."The Sith trailed off and turned away from the holographic image of his brother for a moment, allowing him to process the situation. Turning back, he continued."...this leaves Clan Starkiller in a...unique position...."And that was all he was going to divulge for the time being. Surely he had caught his brother's attention, to say the least.

From the depths of hyperspace came a fleet of Imperial warships. Commanded by the Victory III-class Star Destroyer, Immortalis, and alongside its sister, the Legacy of Phennir, a fleet of fourteen vessels, including Vindicators, Ardents, and Marauders as support and heavy cruisers, exited hyperspace and into the Iridonian system. Its hulls were brimming with starfighters and troops, namely from General Reguli's Storm Wolves, the 508th Legion of the Imperial Army. Commanded by Captain Artraius, the fleet's orders were relayed from the flagship to the rest of the formation. Intelligence had indicated the presence of a Sith fleet, but due to newer info, it was not of the Blackguard Imperium. Instead, agents indicated a rogue element of the Sith Empire.
Thus, the First Order, for the first time since its founding, had come to Iridonia. They intended to claim it for their Empire. As such, Commander Artraius ordered the starfighter wings to launch and form up for battle. They would either show enough force to ensure the enemy surrender or they would fight well and hard for this desired territory. 'May the Emperor's finest triumph!' was the battle cry upon the bridges of the warships.
=Artraius= This is Captain Artraius of the Taskforce Immortalis to any vessels in the system! You are ordered to heave and surrender yourselves to the First Order! Those who surrender will be granted safe passage out of the region. Those who resist will meet the firepower of the Imperial war machine!
As per protocol, the captain relayed this offer and chance to surrender from any possible enemies. If none responded, they would swoop in and place the flag of the Empire upon the surface of the planet. Today, the Empire would once more be triumphant!

This was his clan brother's flagship, Valafar turned and faced Commodore Korbin Zeus and spoke.::Commodore, alert me if anything important should occur.::The Commodore nodded to the towering Zabrak Sith Lord, then Valafar walked off the bridge and entered the conference room and activated the holographic table and an image of his clan brother appeared. He listened to what his clan brother said and thought about what the clan's best course of action should be as he still had troops on the surface of Utapau and leaving them and the campaign of Utapau would surely draw the ire of the Jen'ari and the Sith'ari. Valafar continued to think before answering his clan brother.::We should trend lightly, my brother, unless we draw the ire of the abomination that is the Jen'ari.:: Valafar paused for a moment before he continued.::I assume you have a plan of some kind, brother. I would very much like to hear it.::Valafar stood staring at his brother's image and waited to hear his plan.

Prior to Taskforce Immortalis's arrival... Venom smirked at the mention of drawing the ire of the Jen'ari. While he was a force to be reckoned with, his combat prowess alone was nothing in comparison to Venom or Valafar. The only thing of concern was the fact that he was backed by the entirety of the Blackguard Imperium. But, despite having served loyally, Venom had little desire to continue to advance the Blackguard's agenda, especially when he had a real opportunity to forge a new path forward for his Clan."Indeed I do, brother. Now is as good a time as any to claw our way out from beneath the shadow of Clan Savage and carve our own path forward. With the Blackguard Imperium officially withdrawing from Iridonia once more, after significantly crushing any of those loyal to Vallius and his men subsequently cleansing most of the loyal members of Clan Savage from governance, we have the opportunity to assert Clan Starkiller's dominance over our homeworld. Between us, we have more than enough to secure the world for ourselves....and with most of the infrastructure from the Blackguard occupation still intact, all we need to do is repurpose it for our own uses...-" It was at that moment that Rear Admiral Lee entered the conference room, interrupting Venom's explanation to his brother. "Mi'lord, forgive the intrusion, but you need to hear this..."Holding a datapad with what had just been recorded from the bridge moments ago, Lee played what had come through over unencrypted channels.=Artraius= This is Captain Artraius of the Taskforce Immortalis to any vessels in the system! You are ordered to heave and surrender yourselves to the First Order! Those who surrender will be granted safe passage out of the region. Those who resist will meet the firepower of the Imperial war machine! So, the First Order finally had reared its ugly head and, after much chaos and disarray caused by Vallius, decided to sweep in system and claim Iridonia for their own? No. That wasn't acceptable. Not when Venom was so close to gaining Iridonia for Clan Starkiller. Angered, he spoke to Lee."How many ships does the First Order possess?"The Rear Admiral scrolled through the datapad and replied quickly."Fourteen vessels, sir. Two Victory-III's and a handful of smaller support vessels."Venom growled angrily. Even with the Starkiller, the chances of success against the First Order taskforce was slim. Venom was no naval commander. He was a Sith. Were this a ground game, he could slaughter his way through the enemy troops. But this wasn't something he could fight his way out of, especially with the Blackguard Imperium's support long gone from the system. Remembering that his brother was still present, he returned his attentions on him."Brother. I need you to recall your forces from Utapau and rendezvous with me over Iridonia. The First Order wishes to claim our world for their own...I will do what I can, but I need The Eternal Night for support. As much as I do not wish to reason with them, I may have to resort to that..."At this point, Venom was caught between a rock and a hard place. He desperately wanted to assert Clan Starkiller's dominance over Iridonia, reclaiming their rightful place as rulers of their people, but he wasn't equipped to stand against the First Order for very long. Valafar's Xyston-Class Star Destroyer could definitely turn the tide, though there was no guarantee that he'd reach Iridonia in time to be of any real help.

The Second Officer of the Immortalis approached Captain Artraius. The commanding officer was brought to a holo-table of the current formations in orbit over Iridonia. Three red triangles had appeared on the holo-map, revealing the presence of potentially hostile vessels. Reports, from Imperial Intelligence, indicated a recent... back and forth of power. One Sith and then another that desired dominance over the system. One had already failed in holding their throne and this newer possessor had a few ships at his command. Captain Artraius waves his hand before the display, bringing up recordings of the three ships.
=Captain Artraius= A Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser... some form of Star Destroyer, and a small cruiser. What do have, in terms of intel, on the Star Destroyer?
=Second Officer= Classified as Exar-class, Sir. The other cruiser is relatively new.
Artraius rubs his chin slightly before relaying an order to his First Officer.
=Captain Artraius= Send a communication to Captain Jerius at Anobis. Ensure he is prepared to reinforce us.
The First Officer nods and proceeds to relay the order. Artraius wasn't going to take any chances with this. This rogue element could have more than what was seen after all. Fourteen ships were certainly enough though. Still, it was never wrong to be cautious. With that done, the clock continued to click as Artraius awaited a response. The starfighter squadrons were in position and the fleet maintained its formation. They would be ready to fight if the other side showed their teeth.
