2v2 Match Ryu and Ishmael vs Panno and Darian Rules: Profile stuff is all good
Location:
Temple of Exar Kun: In the heart of Yavin IV, that world which has an overwhelming Jedi presence, lies the temple built in honor of one of the greatest failures of the Jedi. Exar Kun's temple is located in the center of a deep lake on a volcanic island. To arrive at the temple by foot, one must make use of a path of stone pillars whose tops are submerged a few centimeters beneath the surface, requiring the head to remain bowed, looking at the feet, upon approach. The temple itself has a 25m-square base and is built with typical Yavin masonry. From the base rise sixteen polished obsidian pillars studded with corusca gems and etched with runes intended to protect the temple from defilers with the power of Sith Magic. And situated between the two tallest pillars is a statue of Exar Kun himself, whose spirit was bound to the temple upon the destruction of his flesh. Entering the temple leads to one large chamber and a staircase leading to catacombs, but the stairs have been blocked off. The fight will take place at the exterior or just in the single ground-floor room.

Panno walked on the island enjoying the beauty that the moon had. Despite the battle and subsequent siege this portion of the land was unmarred. Maybe the Gemstone protected it from more than defilers, maybe the Sith was still alive. Or maybe it was sheer dumb luck. Either was the Imperial Knight now walked amoung the foliage beneath his feet, dead and rotting trees large branches and Ivey as far as the eye could see. It truly was alive, and he could feel every living creature from the beetles to the massive tree just on the other side of the water. It was beautiful.
Despite such an amazing place the Imperial had come dressed for war. He always did after Prakith. The blood red armour of the Knights covered his body. On the back was a flowing cape that ruffled slightly in the mid day breeze. Unlike the other Knights Panno did not care for war or fighting. He cared for nature and he did not wear a walking armoury. Instead he wore a single blade on his right hip. The blade of the fallen Master Xeonon Solomon.

::Tombs and Magic weren't in the contract, Forcie,:: Darian drawled into his buy'ce's comm unit, audible only to the device on Panno's person. Other than the scrambled, emotionless monotone of the communicator, Darian gave off little sound as he ran a sensor sweep, checking for other life forms. It was rare to find them, in places like this, but he'd heard of stranger things than the Living Dead associated with Sith burial rites. How much of that was misinformation seeked impertinent. Typical Sith. No respect for the sanctity of death. The passing from stagnating into Manda, the resting of the soul while the body faded away- these things were sacred. To violate them with reanimation... gah! The very thought was enough to make Darian snort his disdain.
He'd been drafted less as a bodyguard than as reconnaissance, as extra muscle to ensure that this Tomb was looted of any and all things of possible worth, then razed to the ground. Which was fine by him. Testaments to the power of mystical beings were things that deserved to be destroyed. Pulling the long knife from his back, Darian began chipping away at some strange writing carved into the wall, idly desecrating the no-doubt-self-important prattle of the Forcies out of boredom. ::I'd hate it if we had a discrepancy over funds. The ammo it'd take to kill you would dent my pay grade just enough to make me piss on your grave.::
There was no point in trying to decipher anything written here- Jedi archives and Sith tomes weren't public knowledge. Finding that stuff out required black market interests, lots of time, and considerable funding. And Darian just didn't care enough, besides. To a Forcie, this must have been a treasure trove of wealth, a font of knowledge- but to a Mando, it was just another grave.
Traditionally, Mandalorians were buried in Mass Graves. Horrifying to most races. Occasionally, there was someone who got their own grave. Important people. Mand'alor. People who made significant contributions to the Mandalorian way of life. This Forcie- Exar Kun- he was just a disgraced Jedi. He deserved no such exoneration. He was just a mass murdering lunatic.
Darian shook his head.

We're here.
The Temple of Exar Kun.
The fact that it has survived this long-- that is, over 4,000 years-- is a testament to its defenses against those who would wish to cause its demise. Well. Such people are now us. I carry within one of the many pockets of Freedom a tracer beacon. Our intention here is to plant it inside the temple. Once activated, there will be a one-minute delay before the commander of Tal's ship in orbit begins its targeted bombardment. And why are we going to annihilate the temple?
Because we want to observe the defensive spells that guard it. We are going to watch them with Force Sight-- I'll have to use Battle Meditation to share my visual field with Tal-- and we are going to watch how the Dark Side is twisted into action to save the structure. IF they are even capable of doing so for a prolonged period of time against turbolaser fire. Tal, who knows some Sorcery, should be able to recreate the inscriptions and magic.
Once he's got those spells down, we are going to put them to use. Depending on how well the defensive spells perform, one practical application we've decided on is to create a Star Battlecruiser defended by the runes of Sith Sorcery that can sustain enemy fire without taking any damage. Imagine! A ship defended by the Dark Side itself! And piloted by the Lapay themselves... No one could stand up to it.
So this is a very important mission.
Thus you can imagine my irritation to see that there are two people here before of us. Imagine our bad luck! If only Tal's Drain Knowledge had worked a little bit earlier on that Massassi Warrior, then maybe we'd have gotten here quicker...
Ah, no sense in wishful thinking. It's merely the time to act. I observe calmly with Force Sight. "You see them, right? A Mandalorian and a Forceful. Both of them in armor. ... I think that we don't need any witnesses to what we're about to do. We've got about five minutes before your ship passes us by in orbit, so we'd better get the beacon planted quickly if we don't want to spend another wretched day on this Jedi world."
And after the bombardment, we're gonna have to get out of here quickly, because I get the feeling that this won't be an incident that just gets overlooked with no investigation. So on this time-sensitive mission, there just happen to be two interfering parties? Great, great.
My hand clenches, empty of all weapons; Crisis is upon my belt and Trogdor at my back within the coat, Devient in the inner chest pocket. Grenades, as usual, at the belt. Casting my attention to the temple itself, I see a path of pillars under the surface of the water, just as the Massassi's mind told us would be there. Wasting no time, I walk right over to them. My boots'll keep my feet dry, happily. Can't say the same about the hem of my hakama, but that's just getting picky.
As I stride from pillar-top to pillar-top, my feet create ripples that will not pass unnoticed in the otherwise placid water.
The Force swells around me in response to my silent fury and purposeful duty. The Dark Side will crush those who offend our actions here.
Likewise, the Dark Side stirs as the runes on the temple wall illuminate their text in red in response to the chiseling action of Darian's knife.

"Yes. I see them." *I murmur emotionlessly, hands pulling the folds of my cloak tighter about my slender frame. A Mandalorian and a Forceful, Ryu said, but even at this distance I can pick out the crimson armor of an Imperial Knight. It seems their order did not fall with Xeonon after all. Pity.*
*It really is quite the coincidence that they're here now, isn't it? Right when we must act with every modicum of haste we can manage? Or perhaps not so coincidental after all. I cast my amber gaze skyward even though I know the 'Vindicator' has not yet descended close enough to the atmosphere to be visible, then step forward in Ryu's wake. My saber is hooked on my belt within my robes, and that, as usual, is the only weapon I carry. I have no fondness for the gadgets my companion carries about, as if he were a mobile armory, but I am wearing my bracers. The crystal fragments they're set with are practically humming with energy, and I'm unsurprised. Even now, while I'm keeping myself fairly distanced from the force, I can feel the energy radiating from the temple.*
*It is a tempting bounty of power, but for now I allow myself only a meager portion.*
*When we reach the edge of the water I step off to the side, take in a breath, and let the dark side converge upon me. Erecting a small 4x4 panel of force energy (Force Barrier, if you insist on categorizing it) takes less than a heartbeat, and I don't even notice the drain, which shouldn't be surprising considering two things: I am a master of this technique; it is a power meant to shield against artillery blasts and lightsaber strikes, and this Barrier must only hold my insignificant weight. The only thing that will require more than a passing attention is maneuvering the panel, and even this I can do quite easily. So as Ryu strides from pillar to pillar, I drift along about six feet to his right, keeping pace with him.*
*Idly I wonder if I could simply launch the panel and myself the remaining distance, but with two such intimdiating figures awaiting us on the opposite shore, now doesn't seem an appropriate time to be experimenting.*

Panno was satisfied with what they had found here, much of the temple had been empty or unreachable. Despite the powerful incarnations on the temple time had not been kind, passages and rooms filled with growth so thick nothing could penatrate it. He ignored the idle threat of his companion, he had been saying such things for a while now. Had there been any sort of truth behind the words, well he probably would have had one of the expensive bullets in him. Personally he thought it was Darians way of expressing admiration and adoration. Even the most steadfast Mando, a follower of Kad would not turn down an advantage in a fight. The force was just another weapon.
That's when he heard it, the scraping of metal on stone and he knew what was happening. Unless you wish that blade to be destroyed a suggest you stop scraping those runes. Almost on cue the words lit up a light shade of red, the force inside the tomb beginning to light up and prepare to defend itself from the desecration. Between the talking and the knife any splashing Lapay would have been drowned out.
Instead being in touch with the plants and animals he felt a disturbance from the water. The plants underwater, seaweed as tall as the water is deep began to rock back and forth. The disturbance in the water eminating from the first step. His mind was connected to so many creatures he brushed it off the first step. And the second. It wasn't until the third that he knew something was trying to cross the water. Or someone, after all most creatures on this planet wouldn't have a bipedal gait. As such the Imperial Knight began to let the force flow out from his body. The darkside growing ever stronger his own force aura combatting it.
Meanwhile the plants in the water began to grow and coil seemingly at random. It would go unnoticed with the ripples in the water hopefully. As the grew, Panno turned around he saw the two men approaching. One on the pillars and the other seemingly over the water. Judging by the fact they did not say anything on their approach, it would only mean bad news. Pushing himself faster than he should have Panno raised his arm in a quick motion.
The water plants would not have to go far to reach their target. Two different vines shot out from the water, from Lapays left and right. Just skirting the top of the water the two vines shot out fast, against the gravity and defying all logic. Should his plan be successful Lapay would find both ankles firmly wrapped in the plants holding him in place. What do you want here! Despite suspecting them of being hostile he would not attack for the hell of it, no he would just be defensive for now. Don't you know how dangerous this section of the jungle can be. Aware that he only had the one he hoped his hired muscle had the second stranger covered and wasn't looking at the pretty lights he had turned on.
