-John- *Crawling was something he wasn't used to. He was always involved in fast past battles, even during infiltration and execution orders. He had never ruled crawling out of his tactics, but to use it during the cover of rain and mud made him smile. He was glad Ander was leading this group. His flashback withered away and John soon noticed his NV was off. He switched it on only to have it hurt his eyes after they adjusted to the dark of night. He sighed and continued crawling in the mud. Mud that was slick as water and contained small pebbles everywhere and he could feel them on his stomach.*
-Max- *Max could only question what was on John's mind, but he soon ignored it as Ander gave another order. To crawl up the hill. Worst. Order. Ever. Of all time. He didn't like crawling, and he liked it even less in armor he was still trying to adjust to his preferences. But as they got closer he was happy to see the indicators begin to pop up. Indicators he put in his own helmet to locate anyone giving off the same signal from their helmet. But after remembering they were sneaking up on another group of their peers, he couldn't understand how they managed to get ahead of them.*

*Silence was key. Dominik made sure every step was quieter than the last. The mud was everywhere, and when ordered to crawl, the boy only winced. He had heard the mud scrape and slosh around him as they continued to move forward. John had taken the lead on their side, probably alongside Ander. The other three had moved farther left, in preparation of their strike. Everything was silent except for the odd moans that came from the Clone Wars veteran in front of him. The boy guessed it was a small flashback, and hoped the guy wouldn't go into a state of PTSD. Things could go south really quick if he did. The mud that covered parts of Dominik's rifle made him sigh. 'And I had cleaned it this morning.....'*

Ander checked his flanks, finding each of the recruits on his HUD as he settled down on his stomach just below the sloping crest of the hillside. Never cross over the peak of a ridge or hill if you can avoid it, your silhouette ends up sky-lit like crazy. Instead, travel the sides of a hill or ridge, better yet, stick to the base of such terrain, when possible. Ander spoke over the secure commlink to the entire group as the rest of Baker Team settled into the mud and dirt around him. The rain had intensified during their crawl, and small rivers of water ran passed them down the slope from where they'd come. Ander set his rifle on the ground beside him, peaking his head just over the crest of the slope before ducking down again. He then gestured for Dominik to do the same. Dom, get me a quick head count, if you can. Remember to cycle through your filters, it might help you spot targets that are otherwise hidden by objects, structures, or environmental conditions such as fog or heavy rain like this. While Dom was set to task, Ander turned his attention to Able Team. Able, this is Baker Lead. We'll be initiating suppressive fires on the target formation here in roughly half a minute. Start pushing forward, keep low. Let me know when you're on line with the target area. There's no rush, just get there quiet-like, their attention should stay on us.

*Max watched as Able and Baker silently slipped apart from each other. As his team Able got prepare, he switched his vision back to its normal setting. It was peaceful and the rain that fell was harsh and fast. It would have been hail if it had come down any faster. He prepped his sidearm and his rifle, making sure he had the stun rounds in. Once he was sure, He nodded to Zimmy and Kaytra, letting them know he was ready.*
*John continued to stay silent. The man was a silent walking killer. He showed no remorse for his enemy, and it appeared to be just that as he checked his own rifle, as well as the two pistols he had. The man always carried two pistols and he had learned it from his programming, but also his burning desire to survive. It helped him through two wars, and he would not let a training mission slow him down from proving his squads worth in GALSAF. That being said, he had used Max's great tech skills to receive visual feedback from all his squad mates. Rick fell asleep, which almost made him chuckle, but he noticed Tom was sitting upon a rock, staring at the rifle every single person had. It was pretty obvious the man missed something of his.*

Zimmy groaned to himself, trapped inside of his helmet but safe from all the mud and rocks below his belly. The boy slid himself into position, trying always to keep a tree or shrub between himself and the camp on the hill. He looked to Max, his icon flashing an affirmative on his team's HUD to let them know he was ready. Max nodded affirmative to the team. Zimmy clutched his verpine, playing with the action nervously. Stun rounds or no, this was going to be intense. The Firrereoan blinked his nicitating lenses tensely, his skin bright silver with anticipation covered in stealthy black battle armor. He was chomping at the bit.

*Dominik took his attention off everyone as they began to near the small overlook of the hill. Before he could do as Ander had asked him, he began to think of what purpose this served. It was an obvious training mission, but something felt a little off. Why would their Commander have them train on their other comrades? Yes they should expect night raids and ambushes, but he felt as if it wasn't going to be the first thing he would have problems with. But he ignored those thoughts as he followed Ander's lead, slowly leaning over the hill to mark targets. He switched from night to thermal several times before he actually got a good estimate of how many people there were in this other part of GALSAF's training regiment. There were less than he expected, but it was still a large amount.*
:: I'd say no less than 23 targets. I'm positive on that count ::
*As he said that he slowly moved himself out of his own view of the camp, hoping no one woke up to see him peek over the edge to begin with.*
